At some point in the conversation I started using the term "beastly purity" as another kind of purity on a level with "priestly purity."

It probably sounds like a derogatory term- that's the way in which "beastly" is usually used, but that was not how it was intended or received in the dream.^_^

Many people think of things in a spectrum between being "beastly" or "spiritual"- with "beastly" things being low or base, and "spiritual" things being lofty or intellectual.

That would be a kind of purity which would be a very unique and treasured gift- a purity which was not so much refined or acheived as rather, quite simply, a permanent state of being. An aspect of the soul itself.

"Heart" arrest, like house arrest- we were imprisoned within our own hearts, unable to venture outside our own thoughts and feelings to accept the thoughts or feelings of the other.

That was a particularly sad situation. I never did find out what she had become upset about, but I did try everything within my power to talk about the situation with her. She had completely closed her heart to me at that point, but at least I had no cause for regret.
