 She brightens happily when they are given the okay to bounce ideas off of one another. It usually does not take much to improve her mood, thanks to her generally cheerful disposition. Shifting her attention to her brother, she considers his suggestion. Something about it didn't seem quite right to her.
"We could try it.. " She replies, thoughtfully. ".. but then we would just be using a spell to make it artificially larger. That is not actually returning it to it's original size, and the spell would wear off eventually, wouldn't it? Neither one of us are strong enough to make the spell permanent..."
I am a leaf on the wind...

Never mistake tears for sadness...Eva nodded in acknowlegement of woman's introduction though she wasn't so sure about the 'pleasure' part. Eva wanted no part in this...what 'this' was. She wanted to be riding home with the weapons of that thrice curst witch but alas, such a thing was far away from her. All the same, she might as well play friendly. Biting back her first response, she mulled over his words for a moment then sighed. He had a point, certainly, but...she was not yet resigned to this task. realizing this, she was immediately shamed though the play of emotions did not show on her face except for a small wince.
"A plan? I miss those. It has been a long time since I last stood among anyone respectable."
Her grin this time was genuine and inwardly she wondered what Uriel's reaction would be to being called 'unrespectable'. ...that will only bring you grief.

 Ky glances at Tali then turns to the shoulder by his horse, "You there, alert the men that we are heading out. Have them rally here, then give me a head count. We'll move out when we have complete accountability."The soldier renders a quick salute then goes about the duty set for him. Ky turns to the new women and addresses all of them, "You are all welcome to come back with me. But understand that by doing so you agree to follow any directions I render to you. Note that they are not orders, you are not under my command. I would rather you not get hurt due to any lack of field experience. I know that does not apply to all of you, but it will make things easier for everyone." He looks to the pale woman, "Young Miss, until you are fully recovered I'd recommend you stay by me." He assists her onto his horse gently. The soldier gathers the others to their location, and quickly executes a head count. He approaches Ky and speaks, "Sir, everyone is present and accounted for."Ky nods to the man and shouts where he can heard, "Alright men, we head home now. You will be allowed a few hours of rest, then an extensive after action meeting will be held to consolidate any gathered intelligence. Onward."With that they all begin to move out.

 Heron shakes his head, "Here's what I'm thinking. If there is a weave distortion placed around it, then it is just a matter of setting the area surrounding the parcel to it's original state. I believe it's not the parcel itself that is smaller, but rather the space it exists in."He nods and takes one of the shrunken parcels, placing it in front of him. He cracks his knuckles then places his hands over it, "I'll give it a shot. If it doesn't work then you can try Nay Nay."He begins chanting, attempting to widen the space around the parcel.

A beautiful roaring scream, of joy and sorrow so extreme... Watching the military style that the troops reformed then moved out on was a little exotic for Talise. Most of her experience with authoritative figures didn't involve entire squadrons of soldiers. She stayed close to Ky, following along with the small herd of women he had managed to pick up. The amusement factor of it all was not lost. Idly she wondered how long it would take to get to wherever they were going by foot.

Never mistake tears for sadness...Eva barely resisted the somewhat bitter laughter threatening to escape her lips. She had no choice in this regard. She would follow her own orders until the completion of the task handed to her. Till then... Sighing, Eva pulls her bow over her shoulder then falls in step with the darker woman. She seemed interesting at least, and, more importantly, capable. A curiosity as well, if Eva was being honest. As the soldiers made their way toward 'home' --wherever that was-- Eva fished for some topic that she could begin with.
"Lovely weather, isn't it?" ...that will only bring you grief.

A beautiful roaring scream, of joy and sorrow so extreme... Talise can't help but snicker in response to the awkward small talk starter from Eva. "Yes, it's amazing how the clearing of blackened, ash filled skies and demonic smoke can make for a truly beautiful day." Her eyes dance playfully as she giggles again. She wasn't specifically poking fun at the woman, but more trying to show that she understands the awkwardness of their situation. Giving the girl a smile, she nudges her shoulder against Eva's faintly. "Hey, can I call you Eva? Do you mind?"

 Ky chuckles to himself, amused at the quick wit of Talise. It was biting, yet at the same time jovial and pleasant. He looked around at the patrol that was on both sides of him. He was proud of not only his platoon, but the entirety of the Iron Fist. It had been a few years since he had defected from the Paladin's Rod, but he was sure that this was the right decision. He slows down and lines himself up with Eva and Tali, "Well ladies, I suppose that since we are traveling together it'd be best if we got to know one another. How about you Talise, where do you hail from?" he asks, smiling politely.

Never mistake tears for sadness...Eva rolls her eyes at the comment then shakes her head. The smile on her lips was genuine, her love of banter resurfacing over her general irritation.
"To each their own, eh? I personally love the smell of brimstone in the afternoon. It's refereshing."
Winking at Tali, she nudges back then smiles.
"It's no skin off my nose whatever you call me. Makes for a shorter call anyway. Just in case there's trouble."
She glanced back at the town then, grimly, before returning to a peacible smile. There was no point in worrying. ...that will only bring you grief.

{ - Iron Fist - }
The large band starts the journey east towards the current camp of the Iron Fist. As is standard practice, several of the mounted soldiers move separate from the main group and disappear into the distance. The main group continues partially on foot and partially by steed for a little over an hour. As the afternoon draws late, the mounted soldiers are spotted returning, and with them a few extra mounts for the new arrivals. They are welcomed cheerfully by the squad, who by now are quite weary of walking. There are not quite enough horses to go around so some of the newcomers must share a steed, but the strong arabians are more than capable of carrying a couple of the females at a time.
Once everyone is mounted, the group continues on at a much brisker pace. Sure enough, by nightfall they have reached their destination. Their arrival at the main encampment marks the largest gathering of Iron Fist troops in a single region. Ky knows that this arrangement will not last for long, as Johannes does not approve of sizable concentrations, or what he refers to as "welcoming targets". The group's presense is greeted by several, and once they feel everything has been secured once more, they begin assisting in unloading the wounded and weary.
Ky recognises the young man who scurries up quickly to meet him. Zack, often used as a messanger boy, gives Ky a breathless salute. "Sir! We are so glad you are back. Lord Johannes is in the medic tent with Commander Asmyrra. She's hurt pretty badly Sir. I've never seen her like this."

 As the approach the encampment, Ky recognizes the young Zack. He raises his hand to return the salute but is shocked and taken aback by the news involving Asmyrra. He leans in close to Zack's ear and whispers. "I want you to instruct my first sergeant that he is not to allow any of these women outside correspondence. No letters, messenger birds, anything. They are to be kept under constant watch. Now go."Ky watches as the young boy runs off to give his instructions. He turns to Tali and Eva, "Ladies, if you will excuse me I have an urgent matter to attend to." He gives a slight bow and looks up at the pale one, "At your earliest convenience, I would suggest finding a place to lay down and rest. I will check on you later." With that he runs off to the medic tent. As he approaches a few guards confront him, "We are sorry sir, no one is allowed entry at this time. Not even you."Ky glares at the guard who spoke to him. The guard suddenly can no longer maintain eye contact with him and he backs off. The other one looks at his partner with confusion. Ky unlocks his gaze and whips open the flap to the tent, entering its confines.

A beautiful roaring scream, of joy and sorrow so extreme...Talise notices the exchange between Ky and the young messenger boy. She could only guess what the subject of that conversation was. When he addresses them, she offers a nod in understanding, waiting for him to run off on whatever new mission that was calling to him. Her eyes flicker to the paler woman, who was being gently led away by another helpful soldier. Glancing at Eva now, she gives the woman a faint smile, her tone wicked. "Mmm hmm.. I'm sure he'll give her a real thorough 'check up' later on tonight." She giggles. "Come on.. let's roam." Glancing around them, she starts to idly wander the camp.

The tent is dimly lit, a single candle at the bedside the only light beynd the faint dying glow from the setting sun outside. Johannes sits on the edge of the bed, Asmyrra's limp hand in his. Concern, compassion, and perhaps even fear is etched into his usually pleasant features. His gaze does not raise with Ky's entrance. A moment of silence passes before he speaks. "You were never very good at following orders of restriction in times of crisis.." he comments quietly, a remote attempt to lighten the atmosphere belayed by the deep pain in his voice.

Never mistake tears for sadness..."Hush you. I don't fancy getting on the bad side of my commander again. They give you nasty assignments when they don't like you." She glanced towards Ky's receeding back then shrugged and followed Tali. She held little interest in roaming for the sake of roaming but this would allow her a chance to view the camp and gather information on the renegades. Perhaps with all these soldiers gathered she could find something of use. All the same, there was a part of her that wanted to follow Ky to the witch and finish the job. ...that will only bring you grief.

{Rizel}
[Sorry about the delay, this is the best I have for now]
Seeming to fade back into idle existance without warning, Rizel's vision blurred and wiggled with inconsistancy. She was unaware of Ky speaking to Eva, of being lifted upon the horse, of moving. in fact, she appeared rather corpse-like with her open, but empty, eyes that registered nothing.
