Daron screamed in pain, covering his eyes and sinking to the ground, his energy sapping almost instantly. "SON!" Kamianri cried, no longer looking at the knife. Then she grew cold, and dark. She stood, her eyes turning black with hate. She summoned a small portal and pushed Daron into it. Outside the house, the sheild grew stronger, blacker. It formed around trees, killing them instantly. The blackness spread around the birds, and the wolves of the forests, causing them to be corrupted, condemed, and becoming decayed, their eyes as black as Kaminari's. The wolves charged with Lilia, attacking shadows with their demon like power. Kaminari pulled out her watch and clicked the button. Everything stopped, this time, even the living stopped except for herself, Rebecca and Shade. Thoughts were frozen and even the winds halted.
A portal opened up and hellhounds and ghoulish creatures formed a flesh, fighting barriar around her home. Fire caught to the trees and burnt them. Kaminari stepped from her house and passed through the sheild around her home with out any trouble. She walked through the pacing hellhounds and demons before stopping and glaring at the still scene. She glanced to where Shade was, but looked to where Rebecca was, still biting into the still form of Tanis. She glanced at Morte and Schwarz and her scowl deepened. "Tell me, Shade, King of the Shadows, who do you think made your kind? Your world? You insanity and the price you have to give to get here? Your souls and your culture? I did...I created every Culture. Now; they betrayed me. They're looking to God and Christ to save them from those seven long years of death and decay. He won't help though. For fear of losing his Son, the Holy Spirit and ALL of his angels. My army will defeat the world and Chaos will follow it." she growled, turning and storming back into her house, whispering to Shade's mind, "I don't like it when my Empires go agaisnt me. Your children are going to die...." More portals opened up around the frozen group of shadows attacking at Lilia.
"The 200 Legions!" Rebecca cried to Shade, "You better make yourself known! Hell is going to come loose!" She screamed, her tiger self forming into a bigger, stronger, more demonic looking creature. Her paw was twice the size of Tanis's. She pushed over his form and stepped on his chest just as Kaminari's front door closed and time resumed.
Lilia and her newly aqquired help moved again...Battle was resumed.
From the different portals stepped countless demons, females and males alike. They bore weapons and fangs that dripped with blood from the river of death and posion, a leathal combation with only one cure; the Kiss of a Demon. they attacked the shadows too, but only to hold them off. Rebecca, do not harm Tanis until Shadow's Body tells if she swears or not. Once that happens, please Shade with the killing of Tanis...or try to. My daughter, keep the Dragon from transforming. Or else we'll be pushed back a few thousand notches. Kamianri thought to Rebecca.
Mother...what happened to Daron.
He's gone to get the rest.

"NO NO NO!"
"Shadow!" Schwarz screamed as she was engulfed by the demons.
"What the HELL!??!!" Morte yelled as he punched a demon square in the nose. "Where did these bastards come from???"
Shadow watched as they were overwhelmed. The shadow screamed, but did not stop fighting.
'War...it is a terrible thing...then why isn't she letting me get back? She wants something...but what does she want???'
"You...are strange..." Shadow said, shaking her head. She had finally stopped screaming. "You...you hurt Shadow's head...with your questions..." Shadow sighed, then her old smile returned. "But, Shadow thinks Shadow sees now. Kaminari is a very powerful demon who wants her way. But even demons have hearts." Shadow winced as she put her hand through the bars of the cage, but she managed to grab the knife. She looked at it, then kissed the blade.
"You want Shadow to swear something that makes Shadow's head hurt. But Shadow will do it anyway. Because...because if Shadow swears, then Mistress Demon will stop this?" Shadow motioned to outside the house. "I can feel their pain. My children. They are screaming. And Shadow thinks that Mistress Demon is resposible."
"Shadow..." Vlad whispered.
"Mistress Demon...Kaminari!" Shadow exclaimed, reality finally beginning to sink in. "You must stop this!"
'What...what is this?...' Time seemed to slow as Shadow heard her own voice. It sounded far away, and yet close.
I swear to you, Demon Kaminari, Mistress of Time, that I am Shadow, the Mother and Queen of the Shadows. The shadows that fill this earth and the Shadow Realm are my children, and I am their Queen. I swear this on my very essence, which has lived for years beyond number. If I lie then may my fate be sealed.
Time stopped. Shadow felt herself become one being, though she was still not whole. A connection formed for a single moment, and in that moment two identical voices whispered not only an oath to a demon mistress, but a simple sentence that made what they said true.
"I am Shadow. I am the Shadow Queen."
Time resumed. The bloodbath continued, though there was actually no blood shed. Only screams as shadow after shadow faded. Shadow relaxed her mind and allowed herself to drift outside Tanis. Her initial plan had failed. She had not been able to get back to her body. It was a brash plan, anyway. Probably wouldn't have worked...
Shadow floated over the scene. She saw Schwarz. She was pinned beneath four demons. Morte was screaming her name, trying to help her, but more and more demons kept coming at him. Shadow sighed and blew a kiss towards her children. She already knew their fate. Morte would barely escape, but Schwarz would fade.
Shadow landed in the branches of a tree. She was high up enough to see the whole scene. She struggled to make a form, but enough of her was not there. She remained looking like a lowly soldier shadow. Just like the ones fading below her feet. She could jump down and fade with them. No one would notice...
"There you are, my darling."
"NOO!" Shadow screamed as Shade grabbed her. He stuffed her in a small glass orb, and she banged her fists against the glass.
"Let me out!"
"It was your mistake, coming out of that boy," Shade whispered, kissing the orb. "And now you are mine for eternity. You shall be a decoration. Maybe for the mantle in my new home."
"What new home?"
"Why, the new home that I shall purchase. Right after getting ahold of your body, that is."
"What do you want with my...oh no...you can't!"
"I can. Watch me."
"Kaminari has my body!" Shadow yelled as Shade dropped her into his pocket. "She'll never let you have me!"
"Oh, but she has already agreed."
"WHAT?"
"Where do you think those demons came from? Kaminari and I have forged a bond. A friendship between a powerful Demon Mistress and the King of Shadows."
"You are no King," Shadow spat.
"Not according to this," he said, tapping a little silver crown that sat on his head.
"You tricked me!"
"Once again, you mean." He smirked. "I not only tricked you into this marble, but I also tricked you into marriage."
"Yes, you did."
"So you admit it! I am the world's best con man."
"No," Shadow hissed. "You are the world's best romantic. I cannot deny that I loved you, Shade. I probably still do. But the love has been twisted by your lies. They say that hate is just another form of love."
"They do say that, my love."
Shadow didn't understand why she had heard her own voice repeating the oath after she had finished speaking, but she didn't think about it. She was just hoping that the knife in her hands turned into a little bird.

Kaminari smirked standing swiftly. The knife did not change form. It stayed a knife. Kaminari watched as all the hellhounds and demons that she summoned went back into the portals. The wolves and hawks she damned writhed and squirmed before finally dying. The forest fire ceased and Lilia fell to her knees. Daron came from the shadows of an oak, his temples gushing blood. "Let her free," he ordered as the sheild around the house ceased as well.
Rebecca stepped from the boy and changed into the assassin girl she was eariler, her body scratched only slightly. "Mother..." she whispered.
"Mother..." Daron murmured and Lilia murmured the same word.
"My children," Kaminari said as the door to her house opened. The sun peaked over the land, dawn coming quickly. Kaminari stepped from the house.
"You tricked her!" Rebecca cried, "You're like the King!"
"Rebecca!" Daron yelled, "Silence!" Rebecca got quiet, her eyes glancing towards Shade before curiousity grew over her as she peered into the Jar.
"Shade, Friend of the Demons, King of the Shadows, leave Fille and Morte and Schwarz for now. Let the traitors be damned and the fighters rewarded. I kept my promise...will you keep yours? Shadow's Body is waiting for you..." She said, motioning towards the door.
"And to think," Lilia whispered as Daron picked her up and rushed to the house, "Life will be like this for seven years."
"Perhaps, Lil," Daron growled, "but Mother hopes that Shade will value her promise and return the favor in a much bigger battle. In a much bigger War."
Rebecca looked over at Schwarz and giggled slightly, "You know...the demons weren't going to hurt you if you didn't fight back!" She yelled, "You're mother is waiting with your King." she said, before walking towards the house silently.

"NOO!!!" Shadow screamed, banging her fists against the marble's glass walls.
"Yes, my dear. Everything is falling into place."
Schwarz smiled sweetly at the demon girl.
"Ah, but they were attacking my Queen and Mother. Ask yourself the same question, demon child. Wouldn't you do the same if a legion of creatures desended upon your Mother? Would'nt you give your life?"
"Schwarz, you need to rest."
"Shut up, Morte."
"But you..."
"Almost faded. Almost. And if I could've faded to save Shadow, then I would've!" Schwarz took Morte's outstretched hand and sighed. Then she looked up and her eyes filled with hate.
"It's him..."
"Ah! Schwarz!" Shade said, smiling. He danced up to her and she flinched away. "So good to see you! And you too, Morte! It has been too long." He reached out to ruffle Schwarz's hair, but she backed away.
"You do not touch me, you b*****d."
"That is no way to talk to your King."
"You are no king of mine." Schwarz spat on the ground, then walked away, Morte trailing behind her.
"Whatever. I still win!" he called after her. Schwarz spun around.
"Oh really?" she snapped.
"Really. I got both Shadows." He pulled the marble from his pocket and shook it.
"Stop it, you son of a b***h!" Shadow yelled.
"You...you...I'll kill you!" Schwarz launched herself at Shade, but Morte caught her.
"No, Schwarz! Now is the time to retreat!"
"But he's got her! And he's going to have her body too! He'll be able to torture and torment this world! You know his plan!"
"I know. But there is nothing we can do about it now." Schwarz wailed and collapsed at Morte's feet. Morte pet her hair, but then looked towards the demon woman.
"Mistress Demon, hear me," Morte called to her. "I do not know if you know of his plan. For all I know, you've been in on it this whole time."
"Ha...Morte, I think it is time for you to leave. I do not have to let you go." Shade sent Morte a hateful smile, but Morte ignored him.
"I pray that you have not been in on this plan of his, for it truly benefits no one except for him. He is no King, Mistress Demon! He deserves no title. This man is a con artist, simply here to gain more for himself by taking from others! The body of the Shadow Queen holds much more power than you think. Shadow holds the power to come into the real world, a place that shadows do not belong! True, Shadow has been here, but in truth she has not belonged either. The world is much better off without the meddling of shadows. But what this man...this shadow...wants to do, is sick and wrong. His heart is dark here, Mistress! This world affects us all. All the shadows. It has in influence. And what it does to him..."
"It makes me very smart. Unlike what it does to you, Morte. You become very, very stupid."
"Shade is only in this for personal gain. I do not know what he has promised you, but I can almost garuntee that he will not uphold his part of the bargain. This is all very...bad. Letting Shade into the real world will affect you too! He will be a thorn in your side for centuries! You must stop thi-" Morte collapsed. Shade brought his hand back to his side.
"You...b*****d..." Morte coughed.
"Little shadows should learn when to leave," Shade hissed. "Now then, I've got a body to collect." Shade smiled, pocketed Shadow's marble, then headed towards the house.
Stupid boy...I must remember to kill him...
"Master?" Fille called as she watched Shade walk away. "Master?"
"Fille," Schwarz called. Fille turned to look at Schwarz. She was motioning for her to come over.
"Come on, Fille. He doesn't want you anymore. Time to retreat..."
"No...no!" Fille rushed for Shade, but Schwarz lunged for her legs and barely caught her. "No! Let me go! I...I love him!"
"But he doesn't love you!" Fille went limp. Schwarz picked her up. She went to Morte and helped him stand. Together the three limped off into the shadows, where they melted away into the darkness.

Tanis, beaten and bloody from the battle with the demon, slowly rose to his feet. Hearing and seeing what had just taken place, he knew he had to stop it, even if it meant ending his life. Running as fast as he could, he blew a stream of fire from his mouth straight at shade, hoping that it would at least stop him, if not kill him.

Shade frowned and turned to face the column of flame headed towards him. He smiled as the flame rushed through him and burned some plants behind him.
"Do you not know what I am, boy?" Shade yelled. "I am a shadow! I do not exist! You cannot touch me." Shade grinned, laughed sickly, and hummed to himself as he went to collect the body that would complete his plan.
I sure am glad that boy did that before I became solid...I do believe that that would've hurt quite a bit.

Rebecca skipped after Shade, humming slightly. She had decided to ignore the shadows. To her, they were just a tool. Didn't Mother want the same thing? For the world to crumble at her finger tips? The Army she has created would be a powerful force against the pitiful mortals, humans and animals they'll use. But with Shade's Army with hers...well, the world would go to Hell and bow down before her. Then maybe she'll finally get into the Bible. But Satan; he was growing weaker. Now, with 700 legions under Kamianri's commanded, and the death of her son, Paymon, Kaminari was becoming stronger then the Lord of the Lies himself. She'll kill him and become the Queen of Hell, the Princess of Darkness, and Lady of Darkness with the title she already owns, Mistress of Time.
Daron bowed slightly to Shade as he left the house. "Rebecca, did you now keep your promise?" he asked his sister, and she narrowed her eyes.
"If mother wants another Dragon skull, she can get it herself!" Rebecca snapped, storming passed Shade and going into the house, "Whether or not The King of Shadows will give me something or not!" She growled, and stormed into the kitchen. Suddenly a limp females body was flung from the kitchen. "CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF!" She yelled at Daron, before slamming the kitchen door shut. Daron sighed and picked up the body easily and carried it outside and dumping it on the ground, his eyes narrowing down at the fading shadows, still dying from the heartless attack from his mother, before turning and going back inside.

'What a firey spirit...' Shade thought. 'Hmm...I wonder what exactly she meant by me giving her something...oh well!' He happily walked into the house. He easily spotted the cage, containing a very rabid Shadow.
"Shade!" she squealed, jumping to the front of the cage. "You've come for me!"
"Yes, my dear, I have," he said, smiling. "Umm...excuse me? Could someone please undo this, um, cage? I can't get to Shadow..." He smiled and reached in to pet her hand. He felt a resistance, but grit his teeth and managed to stick his hand through the bars. He pat her head, and she smiled.
"Shade, very strange things are happening," Shadow said. "I got put in this cage."
"I see that."
"But that's not all. The Demon Mistress made me swear that I was the Shadow Queeen."
Shade stopped running his fingers through her hair. He withdrew his arm from the cage.
"What is it, my love?" Shadow said, a questioning look on her face.
"Oh, nothing. Just pondering."
"Pondering what?"
"Why the Mistress of Time would want you to swear such a thing..."
"Mistress Demon told me she'd let me go if I told the truth. This knife was supposed to turn into a bird or blood, but it didn't do nothin. So I guess I failed." Shadow smiled. "But it's okay! Cause you came to get me."
Shade frowned.
'Said she'd let her go...damn it! That demon tried to double-cross me! Grr...but nothing happened. I wonder why?...'
"You idiot, isn't it obvious?" Shadow yelled from her marble.
"No, I don't think it is."
"Who ya talkin' to?"
"Ha! Well if you don't understand then I'm not gonna say anything!" Shade scowled and shook Shadow's marble. She bounced around, cursing, but didn't say anything.
'Hmm... Shade thought, watching Shadow. 'Bird or blood...one for lies, one for truth. She swore that she was the Shadow Queen...but...of course! It didn't work because this Shadow is an idiot! She knows nothing! She can swear whatever she wants. Even though she is technically the Shadow Queen, she also technically isn't. Without her mind, this Shadow is nothing, and yet at the same time, she is everything. So she wasn't lying, but she wasn't telling the truth, either. So...' Shade sighed in relief. 'It's a good thing I kept them apart. If Shadow had become whole again, then not only my plan would be ruined, but the Demon would've turned against me as well. What a relief...'

(lol ACTUALLY Kaminari just wanted to trick Shadow into saying that she was the Queen so that Shade would win and be forever into her favor. And if he didn't comply...well, she still has 500 legions of demons and soliders to attack his army. XD)
Kaminari motioned to the front door and it swung shut, locking it's self. "You may release her, My Son." Kaminari whispered, and Daron let the cage fall into the ground, melting. "The knife, if you will?" she said, holding out her hand, and taking the knife before Shadow had time to responde. "Okay, go about your happy reunion," she said, walking over to her desk in the parlor, and pulling out her book from the drawer, looking over it. She watched as a line went over a name, crossing it off. "Well, it looks like the King of Shadows lost 127 shadows in this battle..." she whispered, closing her book and carrying it with her to the living room (even though a parlor and a living room are basically the same thing XD) "You know, Time waits for no man, King or not," she said, "but it waits for only one woman."
"She saying, hurry the f**k up." Daron grunted, returning to his arrgoant self.

"Shade!" Shadow squealed, glomping him.
"Yes yes, let's go now. Hurry hurry." Shade picked up Shadow, who squealed again.
"YOU ALL DISGUST ME!" Shadow yelled.
"It is very annoying when you talk. It's like a little squeak. Why don't you shut up?"
"No, why don't you let me out of this freakin marble??!?!?!"
"Because, darling, then you'd run off."
"Dammit!" Shadow slammed her fists agaist the walls of the marble again and again. She didn't stop screaming.
"Kaminari...you...b***h!" she screamed as loud as she could, making sure that the demon could hear her. "I was here, living peacefully, in this town, avoiding Shade, keeping the shadows at bay, and you've gone and ruined it! Why?!?!? What part of this benefits you? Huh? Nothing! Shade will be of no help in anything that you're trying to accomplish!!! You have made a mistake!!!"
"I said shut up!" Shade commanded, plucking the marble from his pocket. "You are going to shut up this instant or I am going to kill you!"
"Then kill me!" Shadow yelled back at him. "Kill me now, Shade! Get me out of the way! KILL ME!!!"
Shade thought about it, then smiled.
"Fine, dearest. You shall die." Shade turned to Kaminari. "Nice doing business with you." He turned to leave. But before he did, he reached into Shadow's pockets. From them he pulled a pill box and a few vials of what looked like a mixture of blood and various other substances.
"But first..." He smiled, placed a small violet pill in his mouth, and downed one of the vials. He shivered for a moment, then dropped to the ground with a thud. His grin wide than ever, Shade pocketed the vials and the pill box. He dropped Shadow with a thud.
"She's all yours." He grinned. "Do with her what you please. And here," he tossed the marble to the floor. It landed next to the whimpering Shadow. "Maybe you want her knowlege. Probably not. Anyway, you may kill her if you wish. I'm pronouncing the Shadow Queen dead, anyway." He smiled, his teeth very white and very solid. "I wouldn't disturb me for a while. The shadows will be mourning and I'll have to take care of them. I am, after all, their Father."
"You are not their Father," Shadow said from her marble. Shadow looked at the marble in surprise.
"My voice just came out of that marble..." she whispered, picking it up.
You are my firstborn son, whom I named Shade. You are no King. You are a Prince. And...and Fille is the Princess."
"You are a lying hag," Shade said, laughing. "And you are holding me up. I have business to attend to."
"I do not lie, my son. You were meant to wed Fille. I was going to retire quite quickly. That was the plan. All those years ago...but it was forgotten almost immediately, when I saw how black your heart was."
"You are the one with the black heart, my dear."
"That may be, but yours is black with evil."
"Shush, my love. You are causing trouble where it does not belong. And now I bid you farewell." Shade bowed to Kaminari one last time, then walked out of the house. As soon as he was off the property, he turned around.
"Demon of Time. What they have said, though you may not see it now, if ever, is true." He grinned, baring his pointed teeth. "You have made a great mistake." Then he dissapeared.
"He won't be back, you know," Shadow said wistfully. "He got what he wanted. He won't reappear for at least a thousand years."
"Why am I in that marble?" Shadow pondered. "I'm here. Not in there." She giggled, but it quickly passed. "Why did Shade leave me?...I don't understand..."
"He left us because he's a b*****d son. But don't worry, it'll be over soon. Kaminari, I do expect you to do as Shade asked, since you're such good friends. Kill me. Well, us. It shouldn't be hard to do away with me. I'm in a goddamn marble. As for her...well...she'll quickly fade without me, and that should make it easy for you to get rid of her. Time to clean house, Kami. Let's start with the failures."

Kaminari watched as Shade left and sighed heavyily. "I'd thought he'd never leave!" She said, her demon form fading and she became 'human' again. Rebecca came into the room, 'human' as well, and Daron the same. "No, Becky, Daron, please help me clean this up while I free Shadow from her prison." she sighed, picking up the marble and going into the Parlor.
"Kay, Kami." Rebecca smiled, cleaning up the blood and such, while Daron tended to Lilia.
"So, I bet you are really confused right now, aren't you?" Kaminari smiled, "I've already known about Shade's plan. Which is why I helped him," she said, placing the marble on the table. "Rebecca and Daron aren't my children; in fact, Lilia isn't even a vampire. I do have an army, but not of half demons and half vampires. The souls your body saw in my chamber in hell were actually ghosts, barely being harmed. Just the illusion I wanted to create. Shade is a fool, thinking he can escape his Creators' grasp!" She laughed, murmuring a soft spell, sprinkling ash over the marble, "in fact, I'm sorry for your losses. I'm sorry for Fille, poor child, and Morte and Schwarz. They were strong, and I'll reward them for that.
"Actually, Shade is going to tour the world, trying to destory it with the shadows help. But they honestly do not listen! I say over and over that I created every culture and every language. In control everyone's fate." She murmured, before saying the spell in demonic language, freeing the Shadow's Mind, "Go to your body quickly. Anyways, Shade doesn't know, all I have to do is cross of his name in this," she said, raising the small leather book in her hand, "I just wanted to make sure my army was strong enough to take on the strongest race," she smiled, "and it was. Now, in January, the Seven Years of Hell can be completed, as planned." she sighed, "by then I'll be Queen again," she whispered, looking at her feet, "Now, the choice is for you, and only you; do you want Shade to die, or do you want him to roam the world, trying to destory my empires?"
