Adam James Kiles When you can live forever... ...what do you live for? Adam James Kiles is feeling [Nervous] It always seemed as if the bad days would never end, and this one couldn’t end soon enough. The sun had risen and was now shining through the window in Kiyarahs room. Adam sat on her bed playing with a small trinket he found in her room. He had been at his room earlier in the day but in his haste he removed Hugo’s sweater and neglected to put anything else on. Though he had made enough time to tear one of the blank pages out of his oldest diary and wrote a short note and tacked it to Kiyarah’s front door. As he sat there a million things ran through his head and every possible outcome depressed him. He took a deep breath, taking as much of her scent as he could, because this might be that last time it would be the scent of the woman he loved. The ache in his chest made the idea of being set on fire a welcome change. But he knew that weather the answer was yes or know he would honor her wishes to the best of his ability. Her bed room made his head cloudy as he watched the small rainbows that his body was casting on the walls. He could hear voices in the distance but his mind was so pre-occupied he didn’t bother to focus on them. The conversation in the distance ceased and there were footsteps approaching and Adam stopped breathing. As they got closer he could hear the faster then human heartbeat and he knew it was Kiyarah. He froze on her bed as she got closer and her human pace was making him anxious. Then the idea of her rejecting him filled his head and for a second he toyed with the idea of just running as fast as he could as far as he could without looking back. But he knew that would hurt far more then just Kiyarah. It has been less than twenty-four hours and she already owns my heart. The suspence killed him but he waited patiently and quietly.[ooc]Sorry it's short but I am scraping the bottom of the barrel ATM[/ooc]

And on the spot, Keith had wondered a while back as he watched the back of his ball date leave the Dining Hall. When she had left out the door, Keith had finished his breakfast, as well as some of Lyrine's and then went back to his dorm to do a bit of homework that he wanted to finish. They weren't due till days time, but Keith preferred to be done with all stress so as to relax the rest of the time. And now, now that it was the afternoon at Oak Point, Keith felt the need to get out and just take in the fresh air of the school around him. After all, this campus was surrounded by forest and nature was always so wonderful to him. Especially with his...Keith jumped up off his bed and rushed over to his closet, opening the door slowly. There to welcome him was his new longboard. He hadn't had the time to take it out and ride it, seeing that not that many people in Oak Point knew that he could skate. But now that it was a day off for all students, he thought to take out it for a test run. Because he was so busy with school, he didn't have the time to take the longboard out for a run when he was back at home. And so he took this day off as an opportunity. Sure there would be a few people that would see him, but for some reason he could care less about them.
Because of the weather change since this morning, Keith had changed into more decent clothes that he could wear while skating. Actually, he didn't change much. He changed into more loose skinny jeans, changed out of his belt into a plain black one, and then put on a wife beater under a blue plaid button down. He had also changed from glasses to contacts, because of an incident a long time ago, Keith's gone to using contacts whenever he skated. His hair had done a few things all on its own. Instead of being well kept, it was now a sticking out at some places, mostly on the top of his head. So it looked like how his hair looked when he had bedhead. Technically, it was bedhead since he had been on his bed for hours on end, having taken a nap for quite a while after doing homework. Looking at himself in the mirror, Keith felt like how he use to be when he skated with a few of his cousins. The skinny he wore sagged more than the ones he had worn when around Lyrine. He shrugged, it wasn't like he was going to see her anyway. She's probably busy getting ready for Pearll's slumber party. I have all the time in the world today. he thought as he walked over to his laptop to shut it down. But before he could do so, a beeping sound emitted from it. It was an email from the Chairman. His eyes ran across the computer screen, and then they widened at the information. Kiyarah got Marcus from the Night Class expelled. It's about damn time. He was a real a*****e around us. Keith thought, closing his internet screen and then shut down his laptop. Once the laptop was back in its safe place, Keith grabbed his longboard from the wall and walked out of his room. First however, he checked that he had his identification tag hanging on his jean clip, his cellphone, and his iPod. He had all of them. With a smirk, Keith was out the door.
When the weather had changed, he didn't expect it to change this much. From the gust of wind that almost blew him off his feet to a soft breeze that didn't feel like a threat at all. And then the sun had come out, during October. Usually during this time of the month it would be raining everyday or really windy. But no, there was a bright sun, peeking its way from behind a cloud. It was a miracle. I wonder what caused the sun to come out during this time. he thought. When he took the last step down from the Sun Dorms, Keith walked down the walkway towards the mini skate park found behind the gymnasium. But then he second thought that idea. He wasn't really in the care of who saw him, but then he didn't want people talking about him so much. So he turned the other direction, not really knowing where he was going. The walkway was long and had many curves in the concrete. It was a perfect place to skate. A smile on his lips, Keith dropped his longboard onto all four wheels and then brought his left foot onto the board. He felt a little nervous from the sudden movement of the wood. He hadn't had that much practice on a longboard since he had gotten the thing a month before going to school. He was so use to skateboards which had more stern wood. Now that he got the hang of being on a longboard, Keith pushed himself forward with his right foot and then let the board do the rest. While keeping his balance.
Keith was surprised at how easy it was to get the hang of riding a longboard. Even the turns were easy. And soon enough, he was rising the board like he was surfing. While he skated with ease along the concrete walkway surrounded by trees on both sides, Keith dug through his front right pockets of his jeans and took out his iPod. He scrolled through the list of songs while placing the left earbud in his ear. "Sun" by Daphne Loves Derby played into his ears. Satisfied, Keith stuffed his iPod into his pocket and just skated, occasionally pushing himself faster. But the thing with longboards is that they don't need that much force to go faster. Longboards are much more faster than skateboards. However, Keith did miss his skateboard that he had left at home. I should email dad to ask him to mail my board here. he thought, giving himself a mental note. Keith turned left into another walkway. He didn't know exactly where this path went, or he did and just did not want to think about it. Today, Keith felt like being a freshman again. He wanted to be lost just for today.ll ooc:: Credit to Toju for helping me find the picture of the longboard. ll"success doesn't come in wrapping paper and a bow. "

ღ kiyarah ○ αитσιиєттє ○ briarwood ღ ♪ ♫just hold me close to your body Kiyarah Antoinette Briarwood is feeling just a little : { confused } After wandering around campus, or at least a fourth of it, Kiyarah felt that it was time she head home. She didn't know how long it had been since she escaped the pain of being there, but she did know that one way or another she would have to go back. The Chairman would make sure of it since she didn't bring her phone. With a sigh, Kiyarah turned into the walkway leading to her house, slowly heading towards the front door. A flash of nostalgia came into her mind and it made her pause. It was a little more than five years ago when Kiyarah first stepped into the grounds of Oak Point. She remembered opening her eyes to find herself being carried by a younger version of the Chairman. Kiyarah remembered how calm she felting while being in a father-like hold even if it was from a complete stranger. A sort of comfort and warmth rushed through the hybrid when the Chairman brought her to the house-- With a single blink, the flashback went away and Kiyarah was back in the present of sixteen. The comfort and warmth she had remembered was no longer around. Only a lonely need for something, or more like someone. Her heart pounded heavily in her chest at the thought of Adam. How she missed him. How she wished he was with her right now, in her arms. What she would do to redo what had happened hours before. After her conversation with Tyler, a feeling of guilt flooded her entire body in a sea of pain. She had been irrational with Adam since she did not give him a chance to explain himself.
I'm not going to cry. It was just a minor set back between us. Partners have that. She thought to herself, continuing up the walkway towards her house. But then there was another doubt in her heart. What if, possibly, Adam thought she was now so immature that he didn't want anything to do with her? This made her heart ache all the more thinking about Adam telling her that he didn't want to be with her. After years of secretly loving him more and more, she finally had him and she had ruined it because of her stupidity. Taking a deep breath, Kiyarah pushed the thought out of her mind for the time being. She was not going to cry now. It would be later in the night that she would let her tears fall. As she stepped in through the front door and into her house, Kiyarah took in his scent again. Looks like it hadn't faded during her time out of the house. But then again, the scent was more, fresh. This stumped Kiyarah, but she shrugged it out of her mind and went to the kitchen to get something to eat. The burning in her throat made her irritable over the other emotions she felt at the moment. As the song changed, Kiyarah opened a drawer at the counter and pulled out the red container full of blood tablets. She shook out three, popping them into her mouth like they were candy and swallowed them without liquid. She shivered at the disgusting taste of pseudo blood. Another shiver later, she grabbed a glass and made her way towards the fridge. As a sneeze came out, Kiyarah grabbed the carton of mango juice and poured it into her glass. When she put the carton back, she took a quick sip and then exited the kitchen and up the steps.
There was a denser atmosphere as she walked through the hallway towards her room. She hadn't felt this kind of atmosphere before she left the house. It had to me that someone else was in the house. Also, Kiyarah concluded through her stuffy nose, Adam's scent was actually fresh and that she wasn't just dreaming it earlier. This had to mean... Kiyarah nearly dropped her glass, her blue eyes widening to the size of ping pong balls. He couldn't be here. After had happened. He just couldn't. In her haste, Kiyarah could feel the atmosphere grow even more denser. He was here. She could feel it and smell it. Her heart leapt with joy at the thought of him being here. However, as she stood outside her door, about to turn the knob, her eyes fell on a piece of paper tacked to her door. And as soon as her heart started to beat, it felt like it was going to fall into pieces. "I know that probability of you wanting to ever see me again is fairly slim. But I just wanted you to know that I can not even begin to tell you how sorry I am. I promised myself that I would never do anything that would hurt you--" I can't read this anymore. Like earlier, she was fighting tears. How could such a wonderful thing like what they had go down the drain in less than twenty-four hours? She couldn't believe how stupid she was.
Ripping the page off of the door, Kiyarah turned the knob and pushed the door open. There, right in front of her eyes, was the man she loved so dearly. Her heart pounded painfully in her chest. She could almost tell that she might as well have a heart attack at this very moment. There was a sharp crash, and it took Kiyarah a moment to realize that she had dropped her glass of mango juice. Her hands, according to the piece of paper in her hand, were shaking from nervousness. Here he was, the one person she wanted to see. And yet Kiyarah could be find a place to begin. She took slow, shaky steps towards him, gazing at all his beauty. The sun outside wrapped itself around his body, emitting such a glorious rainbow of colors on the floor of her room. His scent was a tempting essence and it made her crave to rip him in pieces in complete ecstasy. She wanted him, all of him, and yet a part of her wanted him out of her sight. She was confused, thoughts of what had happened earlier and then of the events with Tyler. She had no idea what to do. The best thing was for her to listen to what he had to say. But then a part of her didn't want to hear it. He had ruined one of her more favorite possessions. And to help a person that she disliked with a raging passion. Tyler had said that Adam hadn't meant it, and that this whole concept of an intimate commitment was all so new to him. But then a part of her mind was telling her that the latter of this information was no excuse. She had no idea what to believe in: her heart, which told her to give him the chance to explain himself, or her mind, which told her that any excuse he had was worth nothing.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, her voice blank of emotions. While her body was battling a vigorous war. Suddenly, Kiyarah's eyes brought themselves down towards the object in his hands. Her heart fluttered with bliss just staring at the necklace in his hands. The necklace was a family heirloom. Not from her father's side, but from he family of her deceased mother. And suddenly, a memory flashed through her mind. It was when she was in her wound, mature enough to hear what her mother was saying as she laid bedridden. Her parents had been talking all night, distracting her mother from the pain she was feeling as Kiyarah continued to grow in her. Kiyarah remembered having her eyes closed, beckoning for rest. And so she used her mother's voice as a lullaby. It was just that soothing. She and her father had been talking about love. Before she realized this memory, Kiyarah's concept about love was that it was perfect. But now, now that she thought back to this memory of her mother, Kiyarah knew now that it wasn't at all. "Love has two sides to it: the really great side that gives you butterflies and the side that gives you endless tears." was what Kiyarah's mother had said. And Kiyarah believed it. Gazing at Adam, she felt the butterflies in her stomach, fluttering everywhere almost sickeningly. And then another part of her felt the tears swell up in her eyes, ready to fall. This, what she and Adam had, was love.
She needed to be in his arms again. She longed for his comfort. His cold, hard skin against hers. However, as she took another step, her whole world flashed in a sea of colors. And then there was a painful thud. Soon enough, everything went black. Kiyarah had fainted. ll ooc:: Description about love is credited towards my school's newspaper. ll&put that playlist on blast :: { Is It You - Cassie }♪ ♫

[ Announcement ] Hey guys.
Good news and bad news.
Bad news is that FearlessDare has left the roleplay. So we no longer have Pearll.
Good news however, is that since this roleplay is so close to the ball and it's been slacking off since, I'm considering just cutting Female Werewolf Two and Hybrid Male from the roleplay. The number of each gender will still remain the same.
The poll has been edited so if you voted already, you might have to resubmit.

★★★ ŜŦДЯ . ЯЗŜМЗ . ☪ДЯŦЗЯ ★★★ Star Resme Carter is feeling .::Unsure::. { Star's Hair is: Loosely hung on her shoulders, and unusually normal }{ In the spotlight I'm a Ŝ ϋ ρ з я ş ŧ α я... Farah and Kiyarah got into a little chick fight. As much as Star wanted to back Kiyarah up, she could see that the alpha girl had a point. As a newborn vampire, she always used to ask Adam why vampires and wolves couldn't just be friends; when the wolves were being rude, they were only trying to defend their pack. He'd brushed her off, she'd ignored it, and Star grew up to be some what of an unusual vampire. A vamp that doesn't hate the dogs? A bit more than unusual. Farah's atittude got to her, but that was her job as alpha. Truth be told, Star couldn't wait until a chick took over the pack. Show 'em some girl power, was Star's thought. So she stayed and watched, Pearll getting as torn as she was. Then everything settled and the entire group dispersed. Felix was talking to her, then went about his own business. Star simply smiled and nodded, although she hadnt taken in a single word he said, and then he went about his own business. Heading back to her room and sighing, the first thing the petite vampire did was head to the bathroom. There she tucked her pink chopstick hair accesories into a drawer with the other rainbow colored ones, and let her hair fall down to her shoulders. It was black and silken, and she turned on the sink. Letting the cold water run for a few minutes, Star finally and absentmindedly stuck her head into the water and rinsed out the pink highlights. The dye was long gone, and her hair purely natural now, but Star simply hung her head, letting the cold water rush down and soak her head. Thoughts swirling through her mind, Star didn't lift her head until it became numb. Shaking the water out of her hair and drying it with a towel, she turned off the sink and let the pink water drain away. Coming out, she looked around her room. Star began to put her clothes back in the closet. Neatly folding everything with superhuman speed, Star absentmindedly folded her clothes; her pale fingers neatly arranged everything even though her mind was elsewhere. It was mere minutes before the entire room was clean again. Normally she'd be impressed with herself, but after the slight incident and the arguement between Kiyah and Farah, she realized much of what the two had said caused a huge rift. Adam helped heal some of that, but something made Star feel uneasy. She hoped everything would go well at the dance. The last thing she wanted was for the Halloween Ball to be wrecked because of an ancient war carried out by them, but not started by them. A few moments later, as Star was tidying up her room -it was much easier now that her clothes were neatly packed in the closet-, Felix knocked. She could tell by his scent, his ever sweet scent. Hiding the adreneline that rushed through her, she calmly and cooly walked to the door. The handsome vampire had let himself in, as she had expected, and she wondered if he was surprised at the drastic change in her bedroom. "Hey, you." Even though that was quite a lame greeting, the way the words rolled off his lips set Star spinning all over again. It was good she had been deep in thought about a serious matter, or she might've lost it again. "I cleaned up a bit," she grinned at the 'a bit' part, knowing that she'd done more cleaning that a housewife would do in a year, "Now we can actually sit down when we talk." Smiling again, Star made her way to the marble table, and pulled out a victorian styled chair, gesturing for Felix to do the same. Now that they were properly seated, the female began to speak. She knew Felix probably wanted to say something too, but right now it was woman talk, man listen. "Again, I really have to say sorry about earlier. It's... it's just not right right now. We're both beyond old enough to understand." Star hoped a joke would lighten the tension, but she wasn't doing a great job. By the tone of his earlier greeting, he was over it, and perfectly fine, but Star had to make sure. This was Felix, and she wasn't going to screw up. "But I'm really wondering about everything Kiyah and Farah said. No, not about favorites" -she honestly didn't care who Kiyah favored- "but about the whole vampire vs. werewolf thing. Kiyarah and Farah are argueing in a schoool where the problem is trying to be fixed. Our generation hasn't even started the war, and yet we're still killing each other because of something our anscestors millions of year ago. None of us even knows why we're enemies, we just are. And I think it's stupid really." Oh s**t. Now she'd blown it. Every time she'd suggested this to Mason back home, he'd give her a sickening stare that made Star want to cry her heart out, and run away in fear. And Felix was a fullblown vampire, so he was bound to feel the same way Mason did. As much as she'd tried to be a full vampire -hunting with perfect prescision and speed, drinking blood with vampire 'lust', being better at everyone at everything, and hating the werewolves- Star found herself always lingering over this topic. The blood problem was solved thanks to Oak Point and Chairman Briarwood. Hunting was something Star especially excelled at. But when she tried to hate werewolves, something held her back. She always remembered as a little human girl, reading all those fantasy stories aobut mythical creatures and wishing they were real. Now that she was sent to a world where they were real, they were trying to exterminate each other. It horrifed her, and Star didn't know whether to feel defiant or ashamed. ... Adam James Kiles When you can live forever... ...what do you live for? Adam James Kiles is feeling [Worried] Adam could hear Kiyarah moving around in the house and it was only a matter of time before she came up to her room. Every part of him was screaming for him to leave. Every part except his heart and that worried him. He didn’t like that his instincts were being quelled due to some fluke in his system. He knew he loved her but was it worth the price of being held in one spot for an extended period of time. The sound of her heart as she got closer silenced his mind honed all of his other senses. He could hear every breath she took, every beat of her fast heart. He could smell the fantastic aroma that emanated from her with each breath. He could taste her lips on his and remembered how her skin tasted. He could feel her warm touch on his arms and neck. He could see her shadow as she approached her room. He herd her tear the note off the door and Adam held his breath. The door crept open and there stood the very meaning to his life. Every cell in his body could have exploded from the mass of excitement he felt as he looked at her. Then she asked the question he was hoping to avoid at least for now Why was he here?He thought for a second as to how he could explain himself. But as he racked his mind nothing seemed like a good enough excuse. Just as he broke eye contact with her there was a loud thud. Adam turn to see Kiyarah laying out on the floor of her room. Adam jumped from the bed and ran over to her, taking her into his arms. ”Kiyarah… Kiyarah are you ok?” he said lightly shaking her. She was still breathing and her heart was at a normal steady pace. As far as Adam knew there was nothing terribly wrong with her but he was still very worried. He sat on her bed holding her limp body to his and rocked slowly back and forth. ”Kiyarah… Please, you mean the world to me. I’m so sorry I hurt you I… I love you.” Adam started to sob a tearless sob as he held his love close to his chest.

{mood= exhausted ツ} ♥ Lyrine ☮ {/mood} Lyrine found herself jolted awake suddenly with another nightmare, like the one she’d had the night she fell asleep in Keiths room. She’d seen her mother again. This time, however, her mother had looked significantly different. Her skin, already pale, was even whiter. Her eyes had shone a distinctly crimson color like blood. Her blonde hair had sparkled in the light. But her pale skin also seemed to be sparkling just slightly. Her father, the almighty governor, was hiding behind his mask. Despite the fact that it was just another dream- or nightmare- Lyrine couldn’t shake off the feeling that it was something important she should pay a little more attention to. However, as conscious returned to her, she remembered what had happened the previous day. Lyrine had gone to the place where the hyper Pearll had called her to talk about the slumber party, and was surprised to see a whole commotion of people, most of them the night class judging from their haughty attitudes. They had all dispersed pretty fast, though. Even though she wanted to talk to Pearll, Lyrine had a bed feeling and she’d left to go to her own room. After a long hot shower, Lyrine had curled up under the covers with her iPhone, texting and IM’ing all her old friends.
She yawned lightly. When did I fall asleep? Lyrine wondered, stretching her muscles. It had been closer to five in the morning, time to wake up rather than fall asleep when she’d last checked. It was now five PM. Which meant that she’d slept most of the day away? She still felt tired, as if she’d been tossing and turning the whole night. Maybe she was. Lyrine couldn’t remember. Everything seemed to be a blur. Everything, except for her mothers eyes. Piercing, as if they looked into Lyrine’s very soul. Blood red. Such a common color. Such a familiar color…
…BEEP! BEEP! Lyrine started suddenly, and her breath caught. She heaved a sigh when she saw it was just her phone, beeping with a just-received message. Ignoring her loaded inbox, Lyrine silenced her phone and got quickly out of bed. She yawned again and stumbled into her bathroom to freshen up. She turned to the mirror and froze at the image. She looked ransacked. Her eyes had dark bags underneath them, her hair stuck up at odd angles from her bun, and her clothes were rumpled up. I really didn’t get much sleep last night. She thought reproachfully, turning on the warm water. When she finished her shower, Lyrine pulled out a tight A&F shirt with Escada skinny jeans and the same flip-flops she’d worn yesterday. She gazed outside her window and saw that the sun indeed was high in the west. Wow. Damn. She spent a few minutes covering the bags under her eyes with cover up that she hadn’t used in forever that subtly matched her lightly paled skin. She would barely have time to tan here in this depressing Arctic Hellhole. She’d lose whatever color had skin barely had.
Leaving her dorm, Lyrine wondered if she should go look for Keith or go find something to eat or go back to her room and sleep. It didn’t matter at the moment. Checking the message Lyrine had just received in the morning, she saw that it told them dinner would be served at nine, for each student. The rest of her messages… too lazy to even acknowledge them. She began wandering forlornly around the school. Of course in her official tour, they had showed her everything, pointed out the shortcuts to get to her classes faster, which doors were emergency exits and all that crap. But now Lyrine felt like exploring the school in its entire real splendor. Where the nooks and crannies were. Where she could hide conveniently from snooping teachers while skipping. Which way led to the path teachers wouldn’t bother following because it was over-used. Lyrine knew all the tricks to master high school fun.
And Lyrine did discover a few completely abnormal things. There were some parts of the school that were built so tough and so precisely that it was hard to believe human hands constructed it. Bt she didn’t seem to have many brain cells to ponder on it. And she was getting more exhausted by the minute. It wasn’t until Lyrine found a walkway that looked abandon did she let herself relax and sat down, leaning against one of the sidewalk poles. She slid her kness up and wrapped her arms around them, feeling the gentle breeze say her hair. Her eyelids drooped and Lyrine felt the world going fuzzy. The last thing she remembered before dozing off was footsteps, and someones loud music singing "Sleep well, darling, wherever you are." It was the perfect lullaby.
You'll never get u s e d to it. You'll just have to live with it.

And with great prediction, Kiyarah turned to look at the door just as there was a knock. "Papa!" little Kiyarah cried out as a beautiful man came into the room with a wide smile on his lips. Daughter ran to father, and father wrapped his large arms comfortingly around his daughter before lifting her up into the air. He lifted her up above him and then span her around in circles. Little Kiyarah giggled and laughed, her shocking blue eyes staring only at her father. This Kiyarah had to be no more than four years old. The older Kiyarah watched the events that occured in front of her with a sad smile on her lips. There was an ache in her heart that made her miss her father so much.
The dream continued on. Both father and daughter were speaking to one another, talking about their days. Little Kiyarah described with such wonderful details about how she and her Nana had gone out into the woods to find some butterflies. Brandon, her father, told his daugther about his adventures. "When you are older, I'll bring you with me everywhere I go. I promise," he said in a soft, melodic voice that made his daughter feel tired all the time. Little Kiyarah smiled tiredly at her father, brushing her tiny hand through his silky black hair once before curling up into his arms. Brandon carried little Kiyarah to the bed, placing her gently under the covers. The older Kiyarah gazed longingly at her beautiful father, wanting to touch his cheek like she had done when she was younger. But she knew that he wouldn't know she was there, so she remained where she was at the end of the bed. Her eyes gazed down at little Kiyarah before bringing them back to her father. He was staring at something on his daughter. That was when she realized that it was the pendant he had given her the year before. Her mother's pendant. There was a look of sadness on Brandon's face as he looked down at his daughter. He had brushed his hand across her cheek a couple times. And then he stared at the lovely picture of a beautiful woman that rested on the bestside table. The woman looked crazily like the older Kiyarah, from the curly locks on her head to the clumsy pair of feet. "I love you, little Kiyarah," Brandon whispered as he planted a kiss on little Kiyarah's forehead.
Kiyarah was brought back to reality. This time with the ability to open her eyes again. After letting out a soft groan, she opened her eyes slowly. It was surprisingly darker than before. This caused her to wonder how long she had been unconscious. She wanted to turn her head to look at the clock on her bedside table, but then she remembered who she was with. Who was holding her. Kiyarah felt the steady breathing on her arm, the sound of a beating heart missing. Looking up at the person holding her, Kiyarah smiled weakly at him. Her blue eyes stared at the worried look in Adam's eyes, feeling her heart skip a beat looking up at him. "Did you really mean what you said?" she asked, bringing a hand up to his cheek. She rested it there as she looked up at him, her eyes smiling. "Because I feel the same way. I always have," she added. Then she sat up on his lap, her eyes never leaving his. Once she wrapped her arms around his neck, Kiyarah leaned forward and rested her head on his shoulder. She took in his scent, feeling her head flood with wonderful thoughts of the man in her arms. She was in love, and he felt the same way. For once, her life felt like she wanted it to be. And the dream she had just a moment ago made her feel even more happier.
Suddenly, she let out a couple of sneezes, causing her to pull away from the embrace. Because she pulled away a little farther than was necessary, Kiyarah tumbled backwards onto the floor. She hit her head lightly, making her surroundings spin a little. But this didn't ruin her happy mood. She giggled lightly, lying spread-winged on the floor in front of Adam. Taking in a deep breath, Kiyarah took in a scent that she had completely forgotten about. It was Tyler's scent. "Oh!" she cried out, sitting up a little too quickly that her head began spinning a little bit. It's no wonder I feel really warm right now. she thought as she gazed down at the large jacket Tyler had given to her in replacement of the sweater that Adam had ripped. She ran her fingers through the material once, remembering the conversation she had earlier with Tyler before she came back home and passed out. It made her appreciate having that werewolf as a friend. Because even though she and the Alpha of the pack have nothing but dislike for each other, the Beta was still there to help her out. Now that she was feeling a little hot, Kiyarah slipped off the jacket and placed it on her bed on top of her pillows. "I bumped into Tyler earlier. He said I can have that since it was cold outside," she explained while getting up onto her feet. With a sigh, she smiled back at Adam. "How long have I been unconscious? Because I'm really hungry," she said quietly, hugging her grumbling stomach. She let out a giggle and walked towards the door. "Coming?" she asked, keeping the door open while she waited for him. &put that playlist on blast :: { Security - Stacie Orrico }♪ ♫

farah..elen..redding "I'm in love with your potential ...today Farah is {spent}.
I'm in love with what you should be, baby." It took just one more hour before Farah had all but forgotten how painful it was feeling the bones in her shoulder crack, and the muscles tear. She reached her arm up feeling awkward. Her arm had become stiff after it healed completely and she was trying to convince the muscles to stretch out again. The sleeves that Adam had used as a sling were sitting on her desk. Once Farah had gotten through feeling guilty, she just felt agitated again. Pearll's things had vanished from her room, and upon further investigation her entire room had been emptied. Farah pressed her hands against her back and exhaled deeply. She considered phasing, but had to stop herself. If a member of her pack... if one of her family was unhappy, then they were allowed to separate, to go their own way, and she would have to accept it. That was the point when Farah chose to ignore the negative feelings crawling up her spine.
With a full sigh, Farah changed her mind, and began to run to the forest outside of the gates. She circled the area three times before stripping and phasing, but Pearll was gone. She couldn't be felt or heard, it was likely she'd severed from the pack and Farah let slip a mournful howl. It was then that she allowed herself to transform back to herself and get dressed again. The woods were quiet and lovely and lonelier than they'd ever felt before.
She ran back to the Moon dormitories and sat in the common room, staring blankly into the fire that had been lit by the housing staff when they'd dropped off the meals. The air had been growing steadily colder, and the heat, unnecessary as it was, added a sense of comfort to the room. Farah didn't know how long she'd been sitting there, just that it was finally beginning to feel like the right place to be. She wondered if she would ever start to feel that way about her place in the pack.

☾ tyler ○ sєвαsтιαη ○ carrillo ☽ &&never let your life stand stillTyler Sebastian Carrillo equals { bored } Word had been going around the Moon Dorms since the little fight at Twilight Dorms that Pearll had decided she didn't want to be a part of the pack anymore. Surprisingly however, Tyler didn't feel upset about this one bit. The first time he had heard about this, he had woken up from a half an hour nap, Tyler remembered feeling no sort of sadness. Sure he was upset that Pearll hadn't said anything to anyone, but it wasn't like no one expected it. The unhappiness the girl had recently sort of gave Tyler the feeling that she might leave. And now that she had, what point was there in sulking about it? Sure there were some in his pack that were saddened about this. And so he let them be as sad as they wanted to be. Either way, the pack would still survive. Stepping out of the shower, Tyler wrapped his towel around his waist and then walked out into his room to grab a pair of black boxers and then some sweatpants from the clothes drawer. He then grabbed a white wife beater and slipped that on. He wasn't in the mood to go outside at all, even though the sun was setting beautifully now. It was already five in the afternoon. By now it should have been dark. But it looked like the season was acting a little off for some students' benefits. With a sigh, Tyler put on his Nike running shoes and wandered around the halls a bit.
Dinner was being served soon, but the kitchen staff had brought in the delicious food already. So they were in the common room now, laid out like it was a buffet. Leave it to Oak Point to live up to their rich style. Tyler thought with a scoff then went over to the mini cafe at the other end of the common room. He got himself a bottle of water and a bagel, just because he didn't feel like pigging out at the moment. With his satisfying needs in each hand, the male walked back up the steps towards his dorm. His long legs brought him to his room in mere seconds. And with three big bites, his bagel was done. All that was left was his water bottle. Water was a source that he learned to take time to finish. Just because he was always running, both in human and in wold form. When he took a long gulp, Tyler could have sworn he heard a mournful howl coming from the forest. He recognized that howl. It was Farah. Of all the people in the pack, Tyler felt that Farah was the most effected of them all. Pearll had been a close friend of Farah besides him. Shaking his head a little bit, Tyler placed his water bottle on his desk and then took a seat on the uncomfortable wooden chair. He gazed down at all his homework that he had to finish, a look of disgust painted all over his face. He was never a fan of homework. Which was the one thing he hated about being in Oak Point. The teachers were so a**l.
Minutes later, one problem was finished of his math assignment, and his english essay wasn't even touched once. I really hate homework. he pondered over many times as he stared blankly at the many papers he needed to start working on. But he just felt so lazy right now. And because he was lazy, he felt really bored. He had considered going to the gym to shoot some hoops, or even yet go out to the soccer field and get some practice in for next semester's soccar season, but he was just way too lazy to travel from Moon Dorm to the soccer field near the gym. So now Tyler had nothing to do but whine about how bored he was internally. That was when he sensed someone familiar was back in the dorms. Taking up his water bottle, the male closed his dorm door behind him and headed back to the common room. By the time he was downstairs and in the common room again, most of the pack was starving away at the mini buffet. The only one that was not a part of the food line, besides himself, was his best friend. There was this immediate feeling he felt when he looked at her. As if their was this kind of force that made him want to be near her. But he ignored the intensity of this feeling and just went over to Farah.
The girl was staring at the fire, almost like she was so interested in it. It was kind of creepy. But then again, he was use to this look because it meant that Farah was deep in thought. Planting his butt on the couch beside his best friend, Tyler nudged the girl on her ribs and smiled. "Hey, shortie. What's in that head of yours?" he asked, using the bottom of his water bottle to lightly tap Farah's forehead. He let out a chuckle, wrapping an arm around his best friend's shoulder. "So listen. I heard about what happened earlier. I'm sorry I wasn't there to help you out. I understand how much of an a*****e Marcus could be. It's a good thing Kiyarah got him expelled a few hours ago. Anyway, how's your shoulder? Feeling better I'm hoping," he said, bringing his eyes down towards his best friend. "Tyler! Farah! You gonna eat?" a freshman female cried out, looking at the both of them. Tyler looked up and waved the girl away, a signal that they would eat when they wanted to. He then turned his attention towards Farah and waited for an answer. He wasn't going to charge her with a million and one questions that would make her explain everything that Kiyarah had told him. If Farah wanted to tell him what had happened from her point of view, she could do that anytime. He would always be there to listen. always keep it in motion&&

farah..elen..redding "I am not a pretty girl, that is not what I do... potential ...today Farah is {spent}.
...I ain't no damsel in distress, and I don't need to be rescued." "Shoulder's all better. Shouldn't even be all swollen and purple in my dress..." Farah said softly. And then in almost a whisper she said, "I'm sorry about Pearll. I know that you and she..."The truth was that for as long as they'd spent together, they didn't spend much time talking about the boys or girls the other were interested in. Farah could hardly imagine how awkward it must have been for him to watch her act weepy over ridiculous 10 minute quasi-romance with Hugo. She laughed very quietly to herself and then looked at her best friend for what felt like the first time since they'd gotten to Oak Point. It took a solid thirty seconds before Farah considered looking away.
"I made friends with the Twilight Golden Boy today. Marcus attacked Pearll, I heard her screaming while I was on my run. I pinned him and then Kiles took over. Kiyarah thought we were going to kill him... and there was yelling. I never really put much stock into the theory that I'm a frigid b***h, but after today... all the energy I've spent holding the grudge against her, and then just letting Pearll go... I'm reconsidering."
Farah decided that she didn't feel much like talking about the days events anymore, she was rapidly approaching the point where she had to call home and tell them about the day's goings on. "But hey, Adam set my shoulder and I only bit half way through my lip, and now I don't have the irrational need to tear ALL of the bloodsuckers to pieces. So... a step closer to co-existence."
She was rambling. And she had no idea why, other than the sudden, and overwhelming want for Tyler to stay right where he was for as long as possible. "...can I just say that I have actually no idea at all how I feel about today?"
Farah tucked herself under Tyler's arm and tried to decide whether even staring into the fireplace would make sense of it.

»»000000000000★keith . zachary . reynolds★ _________________________It's always about mind over matter.Keith Zachary Reynolds 's current mood : { sore } Switching from walking to longboarding then to walking again was, surprisingly, a lot of work for Keith. It probably had to do with the fact that he was not as athletic as the other guys that skate more than he does. His legs were cramping up from all the times he had to push himself on his board to go faster. And after hours upon hours of continuously riding his londboard, Keith was spent. He was now walking around the school, his longboard trailing along behind him. There was hardly anyone outside now. Even though it was a wonderful day out, everyone was crazy about getting food. Now that it was dinner, the students were really into getting some food in their stomachs. The email from the Chairman had said that dinner would be served a few hours later, but when was the Chairman ever true to his word? Not that it was a bad thing. The Chairman was never on time. He was always too early. Which was a good thing most of the time, just not always. And now, even though dinner was suppose to be served around night time, it was served now. And because the students were in need of food, Keith was all by himself. Except for the few students that did take the advantage of seeing the sun set beautifully. However, most of them were couples.
After getting away from another couple about to pass him by, Keith hopped onto his longboard again and just rode down the path which was slightly slanted downward. He stuck his hands deep into his pocket, keeping his eyes forward just so that he wouldn't bump into a tree...again. Daphne Loves Derby switched to Meg & Dia as he continued to ride on his longboard. As the sun started to set, he considered getting something from the common room since he had skipped lunch. Just a simple snack that would hold his hunger for a few hours so that he would eat dinner later. And so he turned and began to push himself up the pathway towards the Sun Dorms. Thanks to the speed of his longboard, Keith had reached the common room in minutes time. Like he had predicted, it was full of students eager to cram their faces with food. In the hopes of keeping his identity secret, Keith picked up his longobard and quickly crept his way towards the cafe to grab a couple chocolate chip cookies or a muffin. He kept his head down the whole time, so that no one would recognize him as he passed by.
Too bad it didn't work out as well as he had hoped. A couple girls from his physics class turned just as he was close to passing them completely. They all called out his name enthusiastically, hoping to grab his attention. Just to be friendly, Keith turned his head and sent them a small wave before turning away and speed walking towards the cafe. To his dismay, it was packed with students. And most of them had looked up as he came in. And they were looking at him in awe. Some wolf whistled (the girls) and some made whispered snide comments (the guys) as he passed, but Keith ignored them and grabbed a napkin full of cookies and a muffin and walked out of there as fast as he could with one hand full of food and the other holding his longboard. "Hey, Reynolds! Nice board!" some guy called out before he stepped out of the common room. Keith stopped at the threshold and turned towards the person that commented his board. He saw that it was a guy that sat across from him in their AP Government class. "Thanks, man," Keith said in a friendly voice, even though his stuttering was close to coming out. After giving a last wave to some of the students that acknowledged him, Keith turned and started down a pathway again.
He found himself in an abandoned one that was in the middle of the Twilight Dorms and the Moon Dorms. Placing his longboard on all four wheels, Keith stepped onto the board and pushed himself forward carefully. As he rode down the path, he took a bite of the cookie in his hand, and then another. While balancing his snack, Keith pulled out his iPod and played "Monster" by Meg & Dia. And just as the chorus began, he saw a familiar set of blonde hair at a bench and sighed. What is she doing here all by herself? he thought to himself as he planted a foot onto the ground to stop himself and then walked the rest of the way. Once he lowered the volume of his iPod, Keith pulled out the left earbud and took a seat to the right of the girl. Keith shook Lyrine a bit to wake her up and then brought the napkin in front of her when she would lift her head up. If she wanted a cookie, or the muffin, she could take whatever she wanted. "What in the world are you doing out here all by yourself?" he asked his thought out loud then ran a hand through his hair as he brought his longboard under both his feet. ll ooc:: I'll post as Tyler tomorrow. ll"success doesn't come in wrapping paper and a bow. ☾ tyler ○ sєвαsтιαη ○ carrillo ☽ &&never let your life stand stillTyler Sebastian Carrillo equals { flushed } Again, there was no real emotional sadness over Pearll. He had been hearing a lot of apologizes about her leaving for most of the day, and still no different response. "I'll survive, Farah. It's not like I didn't know this was going to happen. I mean, she was unhappy being stuck in one place when she was use to roaming. Besides, there are plenty of fine looking fish in the sea," he said, stating the last part in a cocky tone. Tyler then let out a chuckle and looked down at his best friend. Surprisingly, he didn't expect to see what he thought he saw at that moment. It was like a door had been open for the first time in about seventeen years. There was something different about Farah now, looking at her closely. She looked different than when he last looked. A couple blinks later, Tyler turned away and looked over at the fireplace. His face felt hot all of a sudden, and he had no idea why. What the hell? Am I blushing? s**t I hope not. Just in case he was, Tyler turned his faze away from Farah, at least until he felt a whole lot like himself again.
As Farah began to explain her short side of the story he heard from Kiyarah, Tyler tried to put the two facts together. So they were about the same. But what surprised Tyler the most was that Farah actually admitted that she might be a "frigid b***h" and also about reconsidering holding a grudge on Kiyarah. He was about to tell her the things that the little hybrid had told him, but when he turned to look down at his best friend, he could tell she didn't want to talk at all about today. Not that really stopped him but he was willing to hold it back for a few minutes. He looked down at Farah again, staring at how nicely she tucked herself under his arm. She looked really...hot. Tyler's green eyes widened a tad. Did I just think of my own best friend as hot? What the hell is that about? he asked himself, shaking his head a bit then turned away yet again.
"Listen, Farah. Hear me out before you snap at me, aight? I know you don't really want to talk about today but I just gotta let get through. Um, I understand that you do have a grudge with Kiyah, and I'm really glad that you're reconsidering. Seriously, she's a tight girl. Anyway, you said that Kiyarah had made you let go of Marcus because she was afraid you were going to kill him. But don't you think there might be another alternative besides that? Like, maybe, she was looking out for your shoulder? I'm just saying," he whispered then cleared his throat. "And listen," Tyler sat up straight, facing Farah eye to eye, "I'm really proud of you for what you have accomplished today. I mean, you've been holding a really tight grudge of those vampires since we first came into the school. And now you've made a peace agreement with Kiles. I really am proud of you. You've gone a really long way. You'll be a great Alpha," he whispered to her, then planted a soft kiss on her forehead before pulling away.
He stood up, towering over Farah. "I'mma go get something to eat, and you should get some food too. You look really fatigue lately. Later, you wanna go out for a run with me? Just like old times?" he asked, outstretching his hand towards his best friend. This crazy feeling came back again. The feeling of wanting to be with Farah all the time, never wanting to take her out of his sight. It was strange because this was a really familiar feeling. Like he had felt it some time when they were younger, about the time when they first began to phase. It was odd, but Tyler really liked this feeling. ll ooc:: Ugh, it's super short and kinda crappy. I'll do a better one later. I'm sort of on edge at the moment because I'm not even suppose to be on. This is the best I could do for now. llalways keep it in motion&&

[ BenjaminFelixLeónardo ] ‡† You want me? Come get me. †‡
~ Feeling Thoughtful. She looked pretty. Ok, beautiful would have been a better word. And Star’s room smelled like her, spun cotton candy, rebellion, and happy. With an amused smile, Felix took a seat right in front of Star, sitting on an elegant chair that was most definitely not local. He leaned back, listening to what she had to say. Felix was a good listener. His previous preperations assured tht he listened to what his trainers and professors taught. The first part, he understood. He’d already told Star he understood. It was when she started talking about the feud between wolves and vamps that he leaned forward and took in what she had to say. Felix was glad she actually had something to say. He’d been with plenty of bimbos, but none of them really had an opinion of their own. Star had depth. He liked that. But why’d she get that deer-in-headlights look. Like she’d done something wrong and was getting caught for it.
Felix started, "You’re right. This whole battle of the monsters is pathetic. They smell rotten, but that’s about it. I never understood the point of fighting either. When I was still with my dad, he taught me all sorts of fighting methods, even against werewolves, but I knew I would never use it. Anyway, not because they exist. If some wolf like Marcus came along, I wouldn’t mind. But fighting a wolf because he’s a wolf?" Felix straightened up and exhaled. "Honestly speaking, I was sent to Oakpoint as a punishment. It was supposed to teach me a mental lesson. But I enjoy it here. And not just because I met you, but because its entertaining being around the dogs and humans- well, they smell good. The pills are less than satisfying, but whatever gets the job done, right? That’s all there is to it. You don’t have to be all buddy-touchy-feely with the wolves, but hating them because one of our grandparents had a little argument thousands of years ago? It’s a pity, really. Instead of making products, like the ones Caius has to burn vampires alive, if they worked on making something that would make odors more tolerable, can you imagine how spectacular that would be?"
Felix chuckled, then, lightly. He was taking this whole thing a little too seriously. His eyes bore into Star’s, his eyebrows curved down in a frown, and his muscles were tightened like he was preparing for an attack. Felix stretched his legs out and cocked his head to one side. "Is this what was bothering you? Lemme guess- Kiyah and the to-be-Alpha’s dispute bought on your torrent. I try not to get worked about things like that. After all, this should have been expected in a place like this. And whats the point about tiring yourself out over this stuff? Star, does what one angry wolf think really matter?" He asked softly, taking in her reaction. Grinning, he rose from his seat and moving like a fluid, took Star in his arms. "So do you regularly discuss wolf and vampire politics with your new boyfriends?" He asked her.
