((Hahahaha, I knoooow the feeling... but at least it doesn't smell. I can at least say that. My brother's? HIS SMELLS SO BLEH.
I never go in there.))
When Talen reappeared with his guitar his smile fell when he was to find his room empty. "Abel?" He said. "I found... it." He glanced around briefly and for some reason looked under his bed. Seeing nothing but laundry and magazines and something that might have been a bowl of cereal at one point, shrugged. He trotted to his door and peered out.
"Abel?" He said when he spotted him. "You going to be alright?" He smiled. "You look like you're going to faint." He held out his guitar. "I found her!"
((hahahahaha, his guitar is a she... cos boys do that. LOL.))

((My brother's is dirty. D: When he is here anyways. He has chips and everything from who knows when. At least I don't keep food in my room.))
Abel was still counting in his head when Talen came out. He looked up lip tucked under his upper teeth as he thought about what was behind him. "That's..." he glanced to the door and shuddered a bit. "That's good. We should check on Saul." His voice came out rushed and he rung out his hands with an anxious look.
"Before...before I EVER go in there again...you should clean..." he said with exasperation and rubbed at his arms. "Please..." He gave a shaky smile, still fidgety. "Sorry..."
((Haha silly boy.))

((HAHAHA, he is silly.... *rolls over*))
Talen blinked at Abel and then laughed. "Sure thing." He said. "I'll totally clean it." No he wouldn't, but maybe if he said it it'd make Abel feel better. "Yeah... Saul could have... I dunno, exploded while we were gone."
And guitar in hand he trotted down the steps again and back to the living room. Saul was exactly where they left him, only he seemed to be sleeping.
"Ah..." Talen said softly. "Maybe we should stick around in the kitchen."
"I'm awake." Saul said, eyes still closed. "But I wouldn't have been if you guys had taken any longer." He finally opened them. "Get lost in your closet?"
"Only a little." Talen said with a smirk as he sat down by the couch again. "Nearly gave Abel a panic attack."
Saul chuckled.

Abel nodded to himself. "Thanks..." He muttered before going after Talen. When they got there it seemed Saul was sleeping, until it was confirmed that in fact, he as not. Abel gave a little laugh and sat down where he had been sitting before.
He made a face at Talen's statement and sighed. "I really thought I was going to suffocate..." he said softly but then smiled and examined Talen's guitar that was in his hands. "But it's okay. Let's hear you play something." He leaned back on his hands.
It was obvious he was completely content where he was. If everything could always be this way, he'd have been perfectly fine with it. There was something about just sitting around with people who made you comfortable and happy that words could not describe. It was a whole new experience for him, being around people and actually feeling at ease. It was usually the opposite when around people, he'd be nervous and always trying to make sure he was doing things right, not saying anything that might make someone feel less than happy.
He felt completely himself.
((Lalala. Haha if you wanna jump around again, that might be good! Cause we should probably get the day over with. Unless you were wanting them to do something besides being lazy and sitting around. Haha.))

((SKIPPING AROUND?! ALLLLRIGHT. D:<
But your terrible. you make ME do all the skipping around. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME?!))
Talen settled himself more comfortably and placed his hands along his guitar. "Alright." He said with an easy smile and just like that began to play. It was natural to him, like breathing and anyone who watched him could tell he loved to play. There were some notes he'd close his eyes when he'd play them, or he'd tilt his head just so when he did a cord progression or did something particularly soulful, like a true musician. He played a few things that were known, and other things that he just felt at the moment.
Abel had been right. Talen was good. At one point Alice came in to have a listen. She missed hearing her brother play. Saul drifted to sleep at one point and wouldn't wake up until the morning.
And they spent their weekend like that; relaxing. Alice was a little upset at Saul's appearance, but she took care of him herself three times a day. Saul laughed and said he absolutely wasn't used to that at all, which of course made her take care of him more than was really necessary at all. When Monday morning rolled around he waved Talen and Abel off.
"I'll just be here... you know... having your sister feed me and what not." He grinned at Talen.
Saul was in reasonably good shape, his face was still slightly purpled, but the swelling was down and his ribs were healing. He still looked exhausted, but had finally been able to shower, leaving him with polished penny look, but a really old polished penny due to the obvious mistreatment of his face.
"You poor thing." Talen joked and punched his friend lightly on the shoulder. "Work on getting better so you can get your sorry a** back in class."
"Yessir." He said as Abel and Talen marched out the door.
((OKAY. THAT'S AS FAR AS I GOT. lol.))

((AHAHAHA I know. xD You don't always have to...I just offer it. Haha. :> I'm gonna post before I watch this thing on DISCOVERY CHANNEL. YES! It looks interesting. D: ))
Abel had almost forgotten about everything before Monday came. Abel would insist on cooking the meals and cleaning everything that needed to be cleaned, except for Talen's room. He hadn't set foot in that room since Saturday. He was sure if he did he'd definitely have a panic attack. Instead he played it safe and stayed in the clean rooms that he personally fixed up.
Every now and then something would trigger a memory he'd have rather had forgotten, but as always, he was good at hiding the emotions they brought. If he felt anything but happy, he'd just smile it off and go about spending the day with Talen, Saul, and Alice.
On Monday he took a shower and saw that he was completely healed. He knew he shouldn't have healed that fast, but he figured it was a perk of being...dead. He put on his clothes and met up with Talen downstairs before fussing over Saul and making sure he had everything he needed.
"We'll be back before you even know it." Abel said gently with a smile and looked up as Talen left. "Don't do anything reckless either." he said with a serious face before going out after Talen.
As he got up to the other boy he scratched at his head and breathed in as he usually did whenever going outside. It felt calming having fresh air in his lungs. "I feel good about today." He declared. Although he definitely did not feel good about the day. He never felt good about stepping out of Talen's house and onto the streets. There was that chance, that large chance, they'd run into things they didn't want to. And that made Abel anxious to get the day over with.
With that said he went silent and stared at the sky, watching the sun rise past the clouds and continue to illuminate the world. Maybe his feelings were wrong, maybe it actually would be a good day. Maybe.

((LOL. HAPPY MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY.
IT'S SUPER SWELL....!))
Talen took a deep breath of morning air. He smiled a little, a half smile, the other side of his mouth tilted down in thought. He glanced at Abel when he announced it was going to be a good day. He laughed a little. "I hope you're right. A nice day would be nice, huh?" He stowed his hands in his pockets and tilted his head back. "We'll see. Seriously though, anything compared to past week is going to be pretty damned wonderful."
And they continued their way to school grounds, exchanging a few words here and there. When they arrived Talen joined the crowd as usual, making sure Abel was close by, but Talen knew that the weekend they had gone without seeing Cain was truly lucky. He spotted Talen's odd hair instantly and fell into step.
"Hey." He said, all smiles. His bruises were gone. If he remembered Talen standing up to him and their fight, he didn't show it. He gave Talen a gentle punch to the shoulder. "Hope you had a restful weekend, Talen. I got some plans.. you know, if you're interested." And his cold eyes glimmered maliciously, but he still smiled.
Talen titled his mouth thoughtfully.
"I mean Saul is definitely out... He's kind of incapacitated for now, but later." Cain looked a little disheartened, as if it hadn't even been himself that had mangled Saul so badly. Seeming to spot Abel he flashed the angel a grin. "Long time no see." He said.
"Don't talk to him." Talen said. "What plans?"
Cain smirked. "After school. Come find me." He looked at Abel again. "Your little blond buddy doesn't look so good." He said.
((hahaha, Cain seriously creeps me out. Just thought you should know.))

((Yes, Happy Birthday Mr. King. ))
Abel sighed softly in response to Talen and nodded. It had been a pretty hectic and chaotic week, and not in a good way. It seemed like it was years ago when he first came here. Yet it was only nearly a week ago. He tried to look on the bright side to things as he followed after Talen.
The minute they were on school grounds Cain was coming towards them. Abel's face tightened and he looked away, his chest burning with dislike. He wasn't going to say he hated Cain. He couldn't hate, hate wasn't an emotion in his dictionary, but he knew he disliked him. Everyone had good in them, but for Cain, it seemed it was buried deep, deep, deep down.
Abel remained quiet as Cain and Talen talked, doing his best not to look too disturbed by Cain's presence. He put his hands in his pockets. When Cain spoke to him he made hardly a movement, only the flicker of his eyes towards the boy and then back to the crowd before them.
When Cain spoke again, Abel finally looked up to him, a look crossing his face. He was about to say something but swallowed it down. In the distance he saw Lilith perched quietly on a bench, eyes directly on them. Abel looked away and frowned. He wanted to leave. As if knowing his feelings the bell rang loudly and Abel immediately looked to Talen
"We should get to class, Talen." Abel said for the first time since Cain appeared.

(( biggrin !!!!))
Cain still smiled when Abel announced they should go. "Yeah. Don't wanna be late, do you Talen?" He was still watching Abel. "The bell rang and all that."
Talen brushed passed Cain roughly. "Yeah. I'll see ya."
"After school." Cain reminded him, lagging behind. His eyes were still on Abel. "Don't forget."
Once Talen couldn't see Cain anymore he looked at Abel. "If I stay after school, I want you to go home." He said. As he passed by Lilith perched on a bench he gave her a nod. "If you go anywhere NEAR him make sure I'm around... or Lilith." He led the way into the building. "You can trust her."
((YAAAAAY. OKAY.))

((Cain is SUCH A PEEPER! GOSH. Put those peeps away, ya freak!))
Abel narrowed his eyes to the air in front of him as Cain spoke. He breathed through his nose and when Talen began to move, Abel was following as quickly as possible. At Talen's next words Abel looked to him with a frown. "You know I won't leave you with him again." He said quietly. When they passed Lilith, Abel gave a smile to her and continued after Talen.
He wanted to say more, like tell Talen he shouldn't even listen to Cain, much less meet him after school, but somehow he knew that would cause Talen to get upset or frustrated. Instead Abel kept quiet.
((And since you don't enjoy me throwing the skips on you...hahaha I'll take the liberty of doing so!))
The day went without any event. Abel sat in class with Talen and would talk to a few people that came up to him. Again he had the same girls as before asking him questions and making him blush, which would produce a round of giggles and laughter. He enjoyed himself though, being able to be with people that enjoyed his company. He wasn't used to it, so of course he was nervous, but it was the kind of anxiety that was good.
He also tended to correct Talen's history teacher, quite often. She'd say something about Europe and Abel would instantly raise his hand and tell her that it didn't happen that way. He could sense the frustration off the woman, but he couldn't sit around and let her teach these kids something wrong about what he had lived through first hand.
By the end of the day he had met a good amount of new people and was trying to remember their names as Talen and he left their last class. His eyes were looking up and a finger was in the air as he murmured some names in his head. With a smile he looked to Talen and tilted his head. "I think today went okay." He declared just as he saw Lilith rounding the corner, face as blank as a canvas and walking straight towards them.
((Lalala.))

Talen laughed. "Yeah. It went pretty alright... I liked your little harem." He grinned. "And I think my history teacher was just about ready to strangle you in her big fat fingers." He laughed again. "Next time I have a history test I'll be sure to ask you about it... yanno, if I actually study."
He then looked up to see what Abel was looking at. Talen grinned as Lilith headed towards them. "Hey, Lilith." He said, stopping along a wall of lockers. "Need something?"

Lilith stopped in front of them and took a breath. "Saul." She said simply and she narrowed her eyes. "He better be at your house, or I swear I will kill him." She sounded extremely serious as she spoke. For a minute Abel thought she meant it. He studied her carefully as she tightened her lips.
"He's okay. He came over this weekend. It's alright." Abel said with a calming smile and nodded. Lilith frowned more and looked to the ceiling. "You can go see him if you want. I'm sure he'd love to see you."
She let out a hollow laugh. "No. That'd be too risky. Just let him know he made me angry."
((That was short too! It was longer...but I didn't want to do too much for some reason. D: I felt like Talen needed to have a chance to get in there...?))

((YEAH! GET IN THERE TALEN! SHOW THEM YOUR A-GAME!
.. what?))
What came out of Lilith's mouth surprised him. He stared at her for a few minutes as Abel explained that he was at their house. Slowly Talen began to smirk slyly. It was suddenly made clear as to why Saul had seemed so happy the past couple of days, and it was almost impossible for anyone to make Saul that happy.
Of course it had to be a girl. He laughed.
"You... are you and him?" And his eyes were flashing with laughter. "I'll tell him." He said. "And I'm impressed." And he really was. Lilith didn't seem that easy to get close to.
"Want us to tell him anything else?" He wanted to know. "... I'm really pretty sure he'd want you to go see him. Otherwise he might pull a stupid stunt again and go off walking..." Talen shook his head. "Do you know where your brother is?" He asked suddenly.

Lilith crossed her arms and raised her chin. "Impressed with what?" She demanded but Talen continued to say something else and she looked away, shaking her head. "I know. But I can't. It's his fault he left the hospital anyways.
Abel laughed a bit before Talen asked where Cain was. He lowered his gaze and tightened his mouth.
Lilith looked back to Talen and raised her brows. "Am I supposed to know? I'm not my brother's keeper. But if I were to guess. He's probably outside somewhere. We all know how much he enjoys school." She frowned and positioned her bag on her shoulder, catching Abel's gaze. She looked in thought and then looked away quickly.
"Why?" She asked, knowing exactly why, but for some reason wanting Talen to say it himself. Abel sighed and rubbed at his arm, he didn't want Talen to go to Cain, but if he did, Abel would go with him. He wasn't about to let Talen alone with that guy.

"If anyone is your brother's keeper, it's YOU, Lilith." Talen grinned and then nodded. "Thought you might just know off hand." He rubbed at the back of his neck. "Guess this means I'll have to look for him."
When asked the question why he caught he gaze. "Just to talk." He said and shrugged carelessly. "No big deal." He gave Abel a meaningful look. "I promise."
"Well, guess we'd better go then." He placed his hands behind his head. "You really should go see him." He finished. "I think Saul likes getting the s**t kicked out of him, anyway." He joked and turned to go. "Take Abel with you."
