FINALLY!!! That took forever... THE SOLUTION: These guys inflict the virus status & love spamming comet spells. They're located on Vile island which is southwest of the Iifa tree. They give the most EXP. of all enemies in FFIX and most people farm them to get to LV. 99. A Yan is also the last monster in the "friendly monsters" quest and asks for a diamond. The tasty snack IRL = Yan Yan 3nodding
