Marlute Marlute's eyes widened as the mag-rod hovered ominously in front of him. In the back of his mind an image of Reno suddenly tripping and hitting him right on the nose formed, and he cautiously leaned back, pushing the weapon off to the side. "You know I will..." He smiled warmly, "But Reno, seriously watch where you put that thing, you've already cost me enough with all the trouble you've caused. I don't need a doctor's bill to go along with it." ((Hmm....perhaps I do already know! I must train harder! XD Hokage of RP! ))

With Reno.. You should always worry to a certain extent. Reno always got the job done, but that doesn't mean he got the job done properly... He'd get where he needs to be, but not always on time.. That was the way he was.. At times he was the worst, and other times the best Turk they had.. Rufus nodding in his farewell to the man as he left.. ".... You'd be suprised how many things he's broken with that.." Was that Rufus making an attempt to make conversation? Maybe the strong liquor was starting to effect him a little bit? He already had a glass before he came to talk to them, and now a second.. "Yet for some reason we haven't revoked his weapons license.."

Keiko-Rin Reno just grinned at him mischeviously before turning to Rufus. "Yea, i gotcha. I'll be there, don't worry, yo." Slowly he walked around the chairs, yawning loudly as he went before he disappeared into the next room that led to the inn and the beds. Marlute glanced up at the small clock on the wall, noticing it was already 2 am. He tried to keep his attention focused on the trio who were still sitting at the bar, but it wasn't doing much good. 'Actually...' He thought to himself, 'It's just boring, they're only talking...and even then I can't make out what about.Looking over he noticed Rufus keeping his eye on them as well, leaning back in his chair he wondered how he did it. It wasn't like he was a slacker, he did more than enough without question...But even with all his work put together, he knew Rufus worked ten times harder. It was inspiring and curious all at the same time, how one person could literally take on the world, but Rufus Shinra made it look like child's play. Suddenly feeling a bit more inspired, he pulled out his briefcase, and set to work on getting a bit more of his assignment done before morning... At hearing Rufus' words, he looked up. It was a surprise he hadn't expected. "I'm actually quite sure I can believe how many things he's broken, sir..." He said, smiling at he thought back on all the times he could recall where Reno had been almost more of a terror with that thing in hand, then all three of the descendants together.

To others... Rufus seemed like he was almost obsessed with his work. But the actual truth about it all was simply, that's how he was raised. What other people saw as only hard work, he saw as almost something as simple as a hobby. He grew up being trained to do exactly what he does. Much of his childhood didn't consist of having friends or having fun. The only 'fun' Rufus ever had (other than work related fun) was the Shin-Ra Inc. annual ball, mostly held so his father could show off how much money he had by throwing some big 'party'. And by the time Rufus was of age, he had already been grown up hating to waste his time by simply standing around and watching other people dance..
"I don't even remember why my father hired him.. Or what he was like then. But if he's like this now I can only imagine what he use to be like when he was a rookie.." Rufus took another swig of his drink and set it down.

Marlute imagined a Spikey red-haired youth waving around his mag-rod causing all sorts of trouble...It made him glad he was still fairly new to the Turks. "Reno is quite lucky...It's hard to believe he's managed to do so well in some of the most trying situations, and yet he always seems to do so." He stared down at the paper, trying to think of what to write, but again, his mind just seemed to form a blank. It felt like he forgotten even how to write in the first place. He tapped his pen lightly against the paper, but after a few seconds set it down again and stood up, taking a quick stretch. "while I'm up..." He said, turning to face Rufus, "Did you need anything else?" He pointed to the President's glass which was now almost empty.

Light blue hues turned their attention away from the three silver haired men for a moment and looked down to his empty glass as it was motioned to. But Rufus just shook his head, once again out of habit, brushing his bangs back with a single hand. "No." Not even a thank you after it, it was just his nature.. Anymore to drink would put him in a buzzed enough state that the real him would beat the s**t out of him if he saw himself acting that way. ((xD If that made sense do any of you.. )) Eyes moved back to the silver haired men carefully watching them.. But through it all he was getting nothing from them.. Mindless conversation. They were probably being cautious as well..
((Wow, now I wanna get Rufus drunk just to watch the scene unfold.. xD))

He wondered how long the three would sit there, chatting idly... He knew that their leader was a deadly and vicious foe, but even now, with all of them together, they were doing absolutely nothing. Were they just toying with them? Or perhaps waiting until they let their guard down... He couldn't figure it out, and he felt like he was missing something. Marlute scratched the back of his head, deciding to just try and relax again. ((LOL....that'd be too funny! XD ))
