As the man left, Soren walked forward.
"Excuse me," he began, "I was thinking of entering the tournament. Could I get a form?"

Conall kept on sharpening his knife, "Do you know anything about the art of war?"

"The art of war?" She blinked a bit, obviously confused. To finalize it, she shook her head and said. "Is it like some kind of painting?"

Conall shook his head what were they teaching children these days, "No... It is a book of teachings. It tells one how to... win at war. One teaching says... 'In making tactical dispositions, the highest pitch you can attain is to conceal them.' I am a man who listens to... my friends when they offer advise." He looked her up and down, before making the knife in his hand disappear into it's concealed sheath, "You... are a magical being?"

The receptionist gave Soren the form with a smile. "Here you go, sir."

She nodded happily and then said with a proud smile. "Yup yup! I'm a fairy, and even though I look like a little kid, and act like a little kid, and sound like a little kid, I'm actually seventeen!" It was obvious that she had never even heard of the book, let alone read its wisdom.

"Thanks," he replied before going to the side and sitting in one of the chairs to fill it out. When he was finished, he went back to the counter and returned the form.
"Is that all I need to do to enter?" Soren asked.

"Yes sir! The billboard over there has all the rules and regulations of the stadium, and down the hall to your left is the competitor's lounge. Enjoy~!" The receptionist said with a smile.

Conall looked her up and down again, "So... you'll be fighting... using mostly magic..."

Leonard walked into the competetor's lounge, as Conall said the mostly magic comment. "What's wrong, afraid of a little Magic?" Leonard asked rather arrogantly, giving off a little puff of fire from his mouth as he said it for effect.

Conall looked over at him, smiling politely. He used a little magic to make his eyes flash to their Golden, wolf color, "My magic is older than you could ever imagine. Why would I be afraid of what made me?" He didn't feel the need to add that he was being chased by a witch that could sense his magic, and lived to kill him. "I prefer, not to waste it on trivial things. Doing so, shows immaturity." He glanced at Rena, then back to the spoiled angel, his hands sharpening another, much smaller knife. "Of course a real warrior would be able to win without using a magical crutch."

The back wall of the room holding the soon to be competitors sprang to life. At first the wall moved sliding several walls and pieces moved making an opening. inside the sudden chamber was energy that no one could recognize. It was obvious that it's probably not a good idea to go in or touch the energy.
Within a matter of seconds a capsule slides into the opening at high speed which would have likely crushed anything in the way. A door opens and out walks a massive form so far hidden in a shadow. The door closes and all the wall pieces slide back leaving the single figurehead of a creature in place. A small amount of energy shocks off his body and then the figure is visible.
Standing eight feet tall was a massive green alien. It's muscle mass far larger than any human, elf, or even the giant Barbarians of old. The creature has many strange mechanical devices covered his body.

"Greetings competitors. My name is Jekirato." He paused looking around to see what the reactions of the others would be.

Leonard simply smirked. "What you call a crutch, i call an assett, and from the way you speak of it, I would think that your afraid of your own magic for some reason." Leonard said, flexing his hand, making sure mentally all his crystallis were in working order. "And In my experience, sir, Age, means nothing to power." Leonard said, letting a little energy crackle between his fingers in his open right hand. "But i believe, if it comes to it, I could take you on without magic, if you are so confident in your skill." Leonard turned to face Jekirato when he made his grand enterance, with a look of boredom on his face.

Conall shook his head, kids these days really were stupid, "I think my mother could defeat you, with one hand tied behind her back. And that would be something to see as she's been dead almost all of my life." He poured a little more water onto his wet stone as he continued to sharpen, then make each knife disappear onto his person. He looked over at the thing that had just walked in. He raised an eyebrow, turning back to the angel, and self-proclaimed Fairy. "Neither of you have introduced yourselves."

Leonard turned back to Conall for a moment. "I am not one for rudness, so I apoglogize for the lack of introduction. My name is Leonard." Leonard said, finding that Conall was more interesting than the owner of the stadium.
