Shiki followed along silently. This place was so small and quaint. He liked it there, but something was definitely telling him that living there would not be a good idea. So he was more than content to go through this place like a tourist. He readjusted his glasses as he went.

As Sandra walked along with Shiki following behind her, she began to notice something. All the people she saw were women. She hadn't seen a single man since she had gotten here, besides Shiki. She thought that was a little odd, but didn't question it, she just continued.

(Okay. That takes priority) Shiki was starting to realize why he would not like it there. He has not seen a single male in the whole town, "Maybe that's why I'm like this right now..." He pondered to himself. It was making him nervous. He's surrounded by females all the time in the mansion, but he never experienced this before.

SAndra just continued to walk to the outskirts of town, not noticing Shiki's uneasiness. She wasn't as concerned by this revelation as he was. Once they got close to the forest, Sandra felt out with her magic to greet the plants around her.

Shiki decided then and there that Sandra will choose all the places they go to from now on. The women even act the same. He suddenly thought of something. He lifted his glasses for just a second. He put his glasses back over his eyes and grasped Sandra's hand, "Maybe we should go into the forest or something. You're more comfortable there anyway," He said quickly. There was no fear in his eyes, but he knew he needed to leave. Now he understood perfectly what was making him so nervous.

Sandra nodded, a little confused but not unhappy to leave this place. "Alright, that sounds good," she said and lead him into the forest, glad to be surrounded by foliage again. "Why are you so anxious?" she asked, curiously.

Shiki didn't answer. When they stopped he felt his stomach lurch, "I'm sorry tree," He said before he couldn't talk anymore. He went to the tree he apologized to and vomited, with his hands on the trunk for support.

Sandra was surprised by his sudden vomiting and went over to him to see if he was alright. Something strange was happening and she had no idea what it was.

After a moment Shiki was able to calm himself down, "The tree forgives me right?" He asked absentmindedly. He never cared for what plants thought until he met Sandra. It must be because of her ability that he was trying to be more conscious of the plants around him.

Sandra nodded. "The tree says it thinks it understands. I think it does as well as it can, considering," she replied, looking at him concerned. "So what was making you so nervous about that village all of a sudden?" she asked, now that he seemed to be calmer.

"Now I know why my instincts were gone into overdrive last night. The people in that village have way too much death in them...I wouldn't even have to target a line. Without the protection of these glasses, those people were practically solid black. The last time I saw someone like that, it was a zombie created by a Vampire. It's unnatural...and inhuman..." His eyes had a hint of fear in them now, but he was more relaxed now that they were far away from the town, "I don't get it. They were out in broad daylight. The sun should have killed them instantly..."

Sandra looked troubled by what Shiki had told her. She had never heard of zombies but that didn't mean that these women weren't some sort of demon or hadn't been corrupted by some sort of evil magic. "You think we should leave." It wasn't a question, she knew being around them was very hard for him and probably dangerous.

"I'm okay out here because they are not out here with us, but if I go back into that town...Seeing what I did..." Shiki cast a nervous glance to the town, "Or we could go to a place that the villagers don't go to. I noticed the town has a lake or something near the end," He said.

"We don't need to stay here, especially if you're uncomfortable with this," Sandra assured him. She wouldn't mind getting away from the town. It was starting to worry her. "We can go somewhere else."

"You pick the places from now on. If I pick a place we'll end up somewhere else infested by the Dead," Shiki said. He was not going back into that town, not without his knife at the ready.
