"Not caring!" Erik walked off, soon reaching town. There weren't any guards at the South Entrance. Erik disregarded it, considering that the South Entrance was closest to the arena, and if Karoline really wanted to talk to him she'd pull some strings.

(Serrenedy, could you edit you post. The thing about the cure is fine, but the other one needs fixing.)
Lin was confused. Too much was happening too fast. But she knew one thing. Now they had some prisoners.
"Alright, you two girls are coming with me. Now." She said authoritatively, and she looked at Erik, "Keep that cure thing with you. Morris might find a way to mass produce it."

(I'm sorry, but the thing is that the virus is a natural creation, and that the resistance is working on a cure, but has been hitting some snags. Your already made cure I will accept, just so that then the resistance can begin mass producing hte cure and I can speed up the story a little.)

((Uh, Jak? Erik's walked off, Jon's the one you want, and he's not happy.))
Jon stepped forward. "While i question Erik's sanity, I do know that he told me to keep them safe. And if you plan on dragging them back to the resistance for an afternoon of electroshock, you're going through me." Jon really did question Erik's motives. What was Erik thinking? Jon was all about tearing the enemy apart, but maybe Erik was planning for a different kind of battle. No matter what, Jon owed Erik big time for saving his butt more times then Jon cared to remember. Maybe jon could start paying that debt back now.
Erik made his way through the town, reaching the arena. There weren't any guards here either, which was strange considering the resistance's activity around here. Maybe they were all guarding the castle or something. Erik entered the arena, and made his way to the box seats. Or, to be perfectly accurate, the Royal Box Seats. Typical royalty, always want the best seats in the slaughter house. Erik sat down and rested for a minute. He had a lot of memories in this place, some good, some bad. He was always there to watch his dad, otherwise known as The Black King, who not only dual-wielded claymores, but was extremely fast as well. Thinking of his dad reminded Erik of Alexi, who was captured. Perhaps Alexi would one day be as powerful as The Black King. His mind continuing to wander, Erik didn't notice someone sneaking up behind him. It was Karoline, and without Erik knowing, she was holding a dagger over his head.
((I'll be the first to say this: YAY! WE'RE LEVEL 2! THIS IS THE THIRD TOPIC I'VE BEEN IN THAT MADE IT TO LEVEL 2! THINK WE COULD BREAK 31 PAGES?!

"Thanks that means a lot to us...right" Lindsey now noticede that Serrenedy was NOWHERE to be found "OH NO!! I lost her, I'm gonna be exucuted and what's worse she might be hurt, she can't remember a thing" Lindsey went into shock mode, hypervenalating. Serrenedy couldn't belive how jerky Erick was and had followed to give him a peice of her mind. She whislted to alert Erick when she saw he was in danger and threw a dagger at Karoline

Karoline noticed Serrenedy standing there yelling at her to drop the dagger. Now she was more confused then ever. Her orders were to kill anyone standing in the way of the Crowns, yet something about Erik made her question everything she had been taught. Now Serrenedy was telling her to go against orders. Karoline was about to bring the dagger down on Erik's head when she heard him speak up. "So, much like my father, you lure me away from my allies and execute me. How unoriginal." Erik stayed sitting down. "Guess I'm ready. Bring down the dagger, and kill me like my father, The Black King, before me." Karoline just stood there, still confused. Now the one she wanted answers from was seeking death. What should she do? With a sigh, she put the dagger away. "Erik instantly jumped up and put his blade to Karoline's neck. "You b***h. You lure me here to kill me. You don't want to talk, you want to feast on my blood. Start talking, and maybe you'll say enough to save your life."

((Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to have Karoline and Erik start talking.))
Karoline was freaking out. She had never had a sword to her neck before, usually she held the blade. She gulped, and started talking. "I'm sorry, it was a dirty trick. Kiane found out what I was doing, and if she finds out I'm talking to the one I'm ordered to kill, then she'll execute me. It really doesn't matter who takes my life, I'm going to die soon anyway." Erik wasn't convinced. "You're expecting me to believe the queens have some sort of mind reading ability? What a load of s**t." Karoline would have stepped forward if the sword wasn't there. "It's true! It's how she keeps the soldiers in check, she can sense extreme emotional changes, like when someone starts to question the orders they received." Erik still looked like he'd rather kill Karoline off, but instead he satisfied himself by grabbing Karoline's daggers and flinging them off to the side. She might have wings, but they were in an indoor environment, where Erik held the advantage. Erik turned to Serrenedy. "Don't harm Karoline, whatever you..." Erik then noticed Karoline was clutching her side, but for what reason? "Move your hand." Karoline did, and Erik found Serrenedy's dagger stuck nice and firm in Karoline's side. Karoline pulled it out, and threw the dagger off to where Erik had thrown hers. She really does want to talk... Erik pulled out his First Aid Kit, but Karoline shied away from him. Erik was confused, couldn't she tell that she was bleeding? "Do you want to die?" Karoline gave a weak laugh. "Yes. I'll die soon anyway." Erik took the opportunity to pin her down. "Sorry, but you're going to live if i have to kill myself saving you." Karoline wondered. "Are you the same guy that called me a b***h that wanted to feast are your blood?" Erik laughed. "Yup. I say a lot of things, half of it's bullshit. But trust me, I'm not completely evil." Erik finished tying up the stab wound, and release Karoline. Karoline sighed. "I have some questions. Would you mind answering them?" Erik shook his head. "Depends on the question."

"My only plan is to take them in for simple questioning. And if they don't cooperate, then we'll use torture. But if they cooperate with us, then we'll have what we want, and they'll be perfectly safe." Lin said. All of this was getting on her nerves.

"Stay here, I have a feeling you may want to hear this." Karoline shook her head. "Leave us alone." Upon catching a glare from Erik, she added: "Please."
"I don't believe a word out of your mouth. And that's how I've survived, but not listening to potential enemies. Erik told me to keep Lindsey safe. And I will do so until I no longer breathe. I want to be there for the questioning. And if she doesn't cooperate, all you'll need is Erik. Erik somehow brings the truth out of anyone." Jon kept one eye on Lin, and another on the Cybers. If Lin ordered the Cybers to attack, Jon would already be gone.
"Erik...I...I want to ask you something." Karoline looked at Erik like a starving kitten. Erik snorted. "No need to give me the kitty eyes. Ask away." Karoline nodded. "What should I do?" Erik was surprised. "Explain." Karoline looked to the ground. "It's just that...I have orders, but I just don't want to kill you. I'm so confused..." Erik put his hands on her shoulders. "Listen to your heart. Sounds like shitty advice-" Karoline laughed. "-but your heart is the one thing you should listen to. Your mind can confuse, befuddle, lie. But your heart is always pure, no matter how black your soul is. That's why you don't want to kill me, your heart holds you back."

"Alright, if we find that locket, will you come with us and tell us what we want to know?" Lin asked. She was getting a head ache from all this, and she looked at Jon.
"I've been in the resistance for a month. I joined the moment Grigor thought it up, me and Brenner both. I would never betray my captain." Lin told him. It was true. She could never betray Brenner.
