Tony blinked, then noticed that Janet was much younger than she was supposed to be. "Oh," he said dully, "Yeah, I guess that wouldn't make sense to you. Cap's kind of ...out of commission in my time, and I thought you were probably thinking the same thing. Obviously not the case."

THE WASP
Janet Van DyneJanet swallowed down some air. She stepped a little closer. "So...I know both of you in the future? or in a future then?..." she had figured out the answer herself but had said it out loud anyways. "I guess I shouldn't as anymore then that huh...Maybe you can help me with all the people that seem to know who I am that I have no...well I don't know them...at least not yet or even know of them..." She said gently as she looked over his metal exterior. "By the way, umm... what should I call you?..." she asked gently

Spidergirl shrugged, "Well obviously if that had been a problem then I would have disappeared or whatever it is that happens to people when they mess up the past." She paused a moment before adding, "And wouldn't he have to know who my mother is for that to happen? I mean, I couldn't really mess too much unless he decides to go and become a priest or something. Besides! I think as far as anyone is concerned, this whole mess might ruin the future anyway... Or Maybe, this is what sets the entire future up. Bet you didn't think of that did you?" She countered smirking under her mask. Sure the basic logic in her argument was missing, but it sort of made sense if one tilted their head and squinted a little.

"I know what you saying..." Cap started. He wasn't even phased by the questions. They were sorted and delt with. He had an open mind capable of hadleing these thing. "but you could merly slip into a pocket demention. It has happened a lot. Another thing that could hadden is you start to distore reality. I'm only telling you what I know. You could ask some of the smarter heros about alternet dimentions." Cap answered the girl. "I just don't want to many things to get messed up."

Her dad had told her stories about the Cap. Most of them involved his overwhelming need to over shadow anyone, she recalled him saying describing the Cap a while ago as a "know it all.". Rolling her eyes (thankfully her mask hid this) she replied with a small shrug, "Forget it then. I'll just focus on helping solve whatever it is going on." she placed her hands on her hips and looked at Tony, then back at Cap expectantly, "Which is...?" She waited for someone to fill her in more then she already knew. Which basically consisted in, everyone's universes merged.

"Tony," Tony replied tiredly. This whole thing was just... "Look, let's walk and talk, okay?" With that, he started down the hall again, assuming that she would follow. "I'm actually going to look over the Avengers files right now, and that would probably be the best place to start for you."

THE WASP
Janet Van DyneJanet started to say a nice to meet you again but then he turned. She cocked her head a little in confusion then hurried to walk with him. "So...I was an Avenger?... will be?....might be?" She stopped herself before going down the complicated staircase of time travel and different dimentions. "Are you one too?" she asked as she looked at him. She then wondered if that is why Cap had asked her to come. She realized then how neive she had been. What if he was a masked villian. What if they all were? What if they were trying to convince her that they were good? The thoughts shot through her mind as she convinced herself to give them the benifit of the doubt and trust them till they had some kind of hang up. She was smart she would just keep her eyes open.

Tony looked uncomfortable. "I... was. For a long time. And yes, so were you."

THE WASP
Janet Van DyneJanet couldn't help but feel a bit protective and said in a very gentle voice. "Tony...you don't have to talk about it...if it makes you uncomfortable...just trying to get my berrings on where I am, and what is going on. I have barely come to terms with being a super hero and have some personal issues I am trying to deal with...and then the whole world turns up side down...its ruff on all of us...some more then others..." she said with a bit of a chin up kind of smile. "So where are these files...I should at least know where my powers might take me after all." She said with a bit of a bigger smile hoping he would loosen up a bit.

Tony did relax a bit, though not completely. Normally he was constantly in a light mood.... lighter than some of his colleagues would have liked. However, that bit with Cap... "Sure," he replied, "Normally I'd be worried about destroying the barriers between realities, but I'm pretty sure that ship has sailed." Moving into his office... one of them... he opened up a filing cabinet, then pressed a few buttons and opened up a secret compartment at the back. "Alright, this is all the Avengers stuff," he said, slipping a tiny flash drive into the side of the computer. Immediately, a file popped up. "Go ahead and look at anything that interests you; as far as I'm concerned, you've lived through most of it, anyway. I'll just be in the next room," he added.

THE WASP
Janet Van DyneJanet watched him and his manerisums. They seemed familar some how although she knew she had never met him before today. "Thank you..." she said letting her hand touch his shoulder lightly before sitting down at the computer to see the information. She looked back at him as she thought she heard him leaving. She wished she could say more but she didn't know the full reason he was so jumpy. It was probably caps death...maybe she should start there....just so she knew what happened. But maybe she should start with herself...oh the choices.

THE WASP
Janet Van DyneJanet watched the screen as her life unfolded in front of her. She had to keep telling herself that is was only a possible future. It didn't help it had things like her wedding to the guy she liked now. Then random information about their break up and how that effected the avengers. She watched as she got to grow not just get tiny and that she might actually develop her wasp stings naturally. She looked down at her wrists. She quickly open the file on the avengers and other people she should know's powers. There was cap...and sure enough he was listed as expired. She looked over the information time and time again. Then got up slowly logging out. She made her way back as best she could. "Tony,....Cap....?"

Tony was in the next room, right where he had said he'd be. However, he seemed to be concentrating rather intently... some sort of gun, although it didn't look like the kind that would fire bullets. "Ooookay," he muttered, completely to himself, "... Fear... how does fear power something... Does that ring have a bio-mechanical interface? It could draw power from the increase in heart rate... not nearly enough... Or... No..." He ran a rather frustrated hand through his hair.

Janet Van DyneJanet slowly made her way though the unfamiliar building finding Tony after a few minutes and quietly made her way to his side looking over his shoulder tentatively, trying to stay out of his way as much as possible but still seeing what he was doing. Maybe she could help. She wasn't a genius but she wasn't stupid either. Janet smiled as she tried to figure out what he was doing.
