Alcina tilted her head to the side slightly. "Bit of an odd topic to bring up as a conversation. What do you mean by it?"
She understood it, but she wasn't quite sure she really did. Why would he want to talk about something like this.

A somewhat insane glint appeared in Nygma's eye; it was possibly the first hint that there had been a reason he had been put in Arkham the whole conversation. "Why is a raven like a writing desk? Why are asylum inmates treated, but never cured? You never come to come to the Riddler looking for answers. You'll only get more questions. Unless, of course, you figure out HIS questions."

Well...she definately had more questions. She smirked slightly and shook her head a bit. Well, she was wanting to keep busy.

The glint disappeared as the woman didn't keep fueling his complex. "Ah, but I digress. You know, I don't believe we actually introduced ourselves properly this whole time. My name is Edward Nigma, but most people know me as the Riddler. And you are?"

"I'm Alcina." she replied. It wasn't her actual name. Like Xiao, her real name was rather lengthy and hard to pronounce in English...or any other language for that matter. So, shortened versions of their names were much easier.

Nigma took a step back, then bowed deeply. "It is my very great honor to meet you, Alcina," he said, being polite; after all, she HAD beaten his mini riddle game. Righting himself, he said with a smirk, "And if I may ask, a moment ago, you shook your head a little, as if you were confused. Surely, one as intelligent as you wouldn't be confused by me..."

"Well, you said that you weren't familiar with human culture, so I wouldn't expect you to get it. And although the book didn't reveal the answer, there IS one." He walked to where his chair was, and sat it next to his bed. "If you'll be staying a while, might I encourage you to sit? It'll be more comfortable."

Alcina considered it a moment, then smiled and made her way over to him to sit down. This was keeping her mind off of things after all.

Sitting across from her on his bed, he leaned back against the wall, his hands folded on his chest. "I apologise for the lacking accomodations. This place is supposed to be like a prison for the insane criminals, so that the 'normal' criminals in Blackgate aren't exposed to us."

Alcina smiled a bit and nodded. After a second or two, the bed and chair both began to change into much, much nicer pieces of furniture. A little bit of carpeting replaced the cold hard floor as well.
