Lupus Let out a howl and morphed into a leaner were wolf form. He got down on all fours and began running at an awkward but quick gait. His sixth sense was telling him that Altga held something he wanted. And it wasn't treasure.

Relako didn't really notice Lupus leave, since he was concentrating himself on finding the demon. Suddenly he sensed a strong magical presence, and a wide grin crossed his face as the prospect of strong magic became a possibility. "Hey you three." he said, looking over his shoulder to see that the werewolf was gone. "Two." he quickly corrected himself. "You might want to get out of here if you don't want to die. Looks like something powerful is headed this way." he said with a small laugh as he turned back to face the direction James had indicated. "Ready whenever you are." he said to the vampire.

"What?" Kiendo suddenly started to regret not following Lupus, "What? But..." He glanced over at the books, "These ancient texts... Please don't fight here," He requested weakly.

James did the best he could to get his gun ready under the pain "Fine but whatever it is capture it quick" he said wincing still "I cant help you anymore it's blocked my hearing" he loaded Murasame ready to defend himself

Relako sighed. "Fine, fine. I'll waste one of my more powerful spells." he said to both James and Kiendo at the same time. It was more fun for him if he could fight it, but the books Kiendo wanted to protect might have some dark magic in them he could learn anyway so it was in his intrest to capture it quick as well. A large black creature suddenly appeared in the darkness of the doorway, surprisingly silent despite it's size. It was looking at Relako hungrily, as if he was some prime piece of meat. The room seemed to darken slightly and a large glowing pentagram appeared under Relako's feet as the dark magic built up and began to manifest itself into a spell. Relako held out his hand towards the demon as it roared, the exact words of his spell lost in the noise, but a moment later blood squirted out of several places on the demon's body and it collapsed into a heap on the group, twitching helplessly as it continued to try to kill them despite the fact that it couldn't move. "Happy?" Relako asked as he lowered his arm at the remnets of his spell faded.

"Good heavens!" Kiendo exclaimed, looking at what was going on. He didn't know what to think, "I didn't expect something like that to appear!!" He said. His hand was rested on his chest like he was trying to keep his heart in place. He was also curious about the magic Relako used, but decided to calm down first.

"Well I told you something powerful was coming." Relako replied with a small laugh, walking over to the demon and lifting it up. It gurgled at him, trying to growl or even roar but finding that it couldn't. The fallen angel threw the demon like a rag doll into a corner where it landed in a sitting position, still bleeding from several wounds. "What did you think was going to appear? A puppy?"

"No, something more manageable would have been nice!" Kiendo says something that makes no sense, given the situation, "That was really impressive magic you used," He commented.

"It seemed pretty managable to me." Relako said with a small laugh. "Thank you. It's one of my more powerful ones. What it does it causes's the victim's blood to burst out of their body like a blade, severing all the muscles neccessary for movement in the victim's body. Useful for things like this." he explained as he walked over the demon, which had fallen unconsious, to make sure that it would drown in its own blood.

Without realizing it Kiendo had his notebook in his hand and was scribbling down the details of the spell, including the inscriptions he saw on the magic pentagram, "It was amazing! I never saw such powerful magic before!" He said, "No worries though. I might have an excellent memory but I have no aptitude for magic casting," He added, fearing that Relako might think that he would use magic he sees for evil purposes.

Relako looked over his shoulder as Kiendo began to quickly scribble down what he saw. "Even if you had an aptitude for magic casting, I doubt you could learn how to cast it just by seeing it once." he said, standing back up and turning around once he was sure the demon wasn't going to die. "Powerful magic like that almost always requires a teacher, or you could hurt yourself attempting to cast it."

Kiendo laughed gently, "Of course," He said, "I think I'm doing pretty good teaching myself. Of course, it's only for research and not for actual use, so I never expect to use anything that I learn," He said with a chuckle.

"You might not plan to, put others after you surely will." Relako said with a small laugh. After all, humans didn't live forever, and no doubt there would be several being interested in the magical secrets hidden in his book once he was gone. "So what kind of spells do yo uhave in there?" Relako asked, suddenly curious himself about the secrets held within inside its pages.

"A little bit of everything," Kiendo answered, "I have not really tried to sort the magic by type or anything, so they are all together without rhyme or reason. There's a few basic spells, a few decent support and healing spells, the occasional powerful spell that fills more than a page of notes. I also have a spell for just about any element, including darkness," He explained.

Relako listened with a small bit of intrest. As the human spoke, Relako found himself discrediting the spells in the book. After all, he had quite clearly stated that he had no aptitude for magic, so the 'spells' in his book were most likely no more then just notes on the effects of the spell. Even if there was notes powerful dark magic in that book, it would probably be impossible to replicate the spell. The easier spells might be possible to replicate since they usually didn't require incantations, but he wasn't interested in weaker spells anyway. "So what's your name, human? Or would you prefer I just keep calling you that?" he said when Kiendo finished explaining.
