Shaster glared at the warrior. "Only cowards attack an obviously weaker opponent from behind." He raised his free arm and shot the man in the chest with a blast of thunder.

Azriel jumped nearly a mile high when the lightning struck the man and it was over. He looked away from the dead man, even if he had been attacked by it. He looked over at the other and smiled, silently thanking him, even if he felt like scolding the man for killing so shamelessly. Azriel sighed and looked to Deana. "Did you find anything?"
Deana sighed and shook her head. "No, I didn't find anything nitwit." She whacked him over the head with the palm of her hand after she put her sword away. "You screamed, I didn't have time to look further." She turned to the other man and nodded at him. "I suppose I should thank you for coming to help my brother. He can be... a nuisance at times."
Azriel pouted at his sister's comment. "Well I'm sorry to be such a burden on you, but you know I can't bring myself to fight." He looked hurt emotionally as he averted his eyes and tried not to make eye contact anymore. "I really am a burden, aren't I?" Azriel asked as tears welled in his eyes.
Deana tensed and then sighed as she walked over to Azriel and put her hand on his shoulder. "You are NOT a burden Az. I just wish that sometimes you would realize that it is necessary to defend yourself at least." She said and then turned to the other man in the area. "Might I ask your name? I'm Deana, and this is my twin, Azriel." She said and waited patiently for his answer.

"Im shaster. You know, if you taught him some healing, he would be more useful." Shaster said to Deana. He was shaking as he placed the sword on his back. "I had no intention to kill him, I just lost it." He mumbled to himself.

Deana sighed. "He does know how to heal. He's the magic user, but he doesn't use it in hostile situations. He's a pacifist. I think he's just being a coward." She looked at Azriel but he didn't appear to be offended this time. She looked at the dead man. "He probably deserved it, but that way, it was sudden, but he can hardly be mourned." She looked at Shaster curiously. "Hey, I'm just curious, but have you seen a necklace around here? It should have an unusual pendant on it, like an angel with six wings."
"I'm sorry that I'm so useless. I just get really tense, I even pass out sometimes, when people are about to kill me." Azriel grabbed his sides and shook. "I can't help it." He looked curiously at Deana as she asked about the necklace they were looking for. Azriel wondered if it was wise to ask someone else if they'd seen it, but he supposed they didn't have much choice. That necklace held the secrets and the power of their family, they had to get it back.

"Well, being afraid is natural, and everyone has different levels of it. But, im sorry, I haven't seen a necklace like that, but id be happy to help you look for it." Shaster offered hoping he wasn't impozing.

Deana sighed. "I see, well that's nice of you to offer." She looked at her brother and pulled him off to the side. "I think we should ask him to come with us."
Azriel looked at her shocked for a moment and then smiled. "Yeah, I think it's a great idea." Azriel turned away from Deana and looked at Shaster. "Would you mind joining us? We need help trying to find our mother's necklace. It's very important to us, and there is strength in numbers, even if I can't stand fighting."
Deana walked over next to her brother. "Only if you're ok with it, of course. And we'd really appreciate the help."

Deana smiled and sighed in relief. "That's excellent. Well, where should we start. I'd still like to get a look in this place to try and find that necklace."
Azriel smiled. "Ok Dea." Azriel looked at Shaster. "If you come with me, then me and Dea can split up tp look for it."

"Okay, sounds like a plan." Shaster grinned happily. "You know, I may actually have seen it at one point. Its description rings a bell, but I cant remember anything from before last month at all, so don't ask where I might have seen it. That'll get you nowhere."

Deana smiled. "Ok, then I won't bother to ask where you may have seen it." She looked at the nearest building. "I'll check in here." She disappeared in the doorway.
Azriel sighed and looked at the building next to him and smiled at Shaster. "I guess we'll look in here." Azriel said and walked into the old house. He wasn't sure where to start looking.

"Alright, you check this floor, Ill check upstairs." Shaster walked up the stairs and began searching through everything, drawers, cabinets, desks, even under mattresses. (brb, moving to a better computer)

Azriel searched through everything he saw, but found nothing. He moved on to another room and looked through it as well. Still nothing. He frowned and put his hands on his hips, upset that he hadn't yet found the necklace. He moved upstairs to find Shaster. "Anything?"
Deana was looking through the house when she felt something sinister. She turned around in time to see a man about to attack her with a sword. She dodged out of the way and pulled her scimitar/holy blade out of its sheath and killed him easily. He was just a bandit, with no real experience weilding a weapon. She hadn't found the necklace yet, just annoying interference.

"Nothing, only a few papers and one necklas with a small star attached." He shrugged and tossed the peice of jewelry behind him.
