Gladious had never heard of any of these foods, but before he could ask what they were like, he was running after Furia and laughing. The air smelled like fresh fruit to him, but he knew it smelled exactly like what it was to Furia. His stomach grumbled and he ran even faster until they both reached the kitchen where the smells grew so strong, he could hardly resist bursting in the kitchen door and stuffing everything down his throat. Up until now, Gladious had been cooking his food with the Arcane element, and though he could make anything he wanted, it was only about half as filling. He had also hunted, but the tough, frozen skin of anything living around these parts wasn't pleasant to chew. "Furia, what are we waiting for, I'm hungry!" He said with an impatient rudeness that could only come from his inner 15 year old. Although he was almost six years younger than Furia, he was very tall for his age, and was almost the same height as Furia. *Eye twitch* Twenty-one years? Well...I guess Gladious IS older than you. >.<

Furia laughed and took a seat at the table, then reached across it and started scooping some chunky white, yellow, red, and blue substance onto her plate, then went over and spooned some of what seemed to be the Cabatte Rose into a bowl. It turned out to be a steamy soup with a trimming of the Valley roses in it. Yet, the Glacier Lait wasn't seen just yet on that table.
Furia looked over at Gladious, "Don't worry about the chunky stuff. It's called 'Snow Salad,' just made up of marshmallows, sweet cream, and fruit. The Cabatte Rose is just a soup with the Valley roses trimming the flavour, but it's really good." She laughed and started chowing down. Well yeah...He is what...65 or something? Just trapped as a 15 year old... =/

Gladious didn't even have to think twice before he started devouring the delicious food. Once he had eaten a bit, he realized Furia and everyone else in the room was staring at him. He blushed again, but one side of the blush was covered over by sweet cream and marshmallow. He had completely disgraced himself at Furia's table! He straightened himself and snuck the napkin up from his lap, wiping off the food from his face. The room was complete silence. Then he noticed his elbows both on the table. But just before he could jerk them off the table, The Annoyance did it for him, bending his arms in such a way as he would jap himself in his stomach. He cursed inwardly as the food in his stomach was upset. Stoping the strange act, he silently checked all of his manners and stared at his food, too embarassed to speak. He could hear the Phoenix laughing his head off inside his mind.About 200 or so years. His ninja clan is completely gone, and in its place is a fishing village.

Furia complacently put a warm hand on Gladious' back, trying to calm him down. Freaking out over a few bad manners was nothing to compress his excitedness about. She started to make a mess of her eating style, dropping snow salad on the table and getting some of the Cabatte Rose on her chin, just to make Gladious feel better, and she was having fun while she was at it.
She smiled at Gladious, then swiped a finger down some of the leftover cream on his face and licked it off her finger. The people throughout the hall stopped staring and got back to eating, knowing the princess was just telling them to mind their own manners and get back to eating. Wow...That's old, but very cool....does that make Gladious a ***** for liking Furia? I mean that mentally. He's still physically 15, so I guess that would make Furia the ***** either of them really are, indeed - *****. XD

He was immediately put to ease by Furia's actions. Returning her smile, he proceeded to eat the rest of his delicious food, until there was nothing left. His stomach gratefully went to sleep, but he knew it would hunger again in the morning. Though he was about 200 years old, his body still had the hunger of a 15 year old in the middle of one of his last growth spurts. The events of the day finally caught up to him and he became very exhausted, despite his restless, nightmare plagued nap that morning. Gladious still didn't have a room in this castle, so he assumed he'd be sleeping on the roof, as he had for many of his travels. If he grew tired, he'd just fly up to a rooftop and bed down as comfortably as he could. He still thought he'd ask, however. "Furia, umm...where will I sleep tonight? I can find room on your roof, if that is alright with you." Haha, though Gladious is almost do centuries older than Furia is, I wouldn't say he is a *****. Almost all of his mind is still 15 years old. He just has the battle experience and wisdom of a person who has lived two hundred years. I dunno. I'm still working out the kinks in the storyline. >.<

Furia looked up from her half-downed bowl of soup, then across to a window. "I guess you could sleep on the roof if you really want to, but there are some spare beds in my room as well as a few extra bedrooms across the hall..." She contemplated this, then went back to eating her soup at a gracious pace.
Well, that's interesting. =D Hahaha, kinks...haha...XD

After a while of what seemed like contemplation, but was only Gladious being in shock of the hospitality he had rarely found in life, he managed to blurt out what he was trying to say. "Oh, thank you so much, Furia. You've shown me so much kindness." After his original motives and behavior, Gladious didn't believe anyone could trust him, and he'd have been fine with that had he not been drawn to Furia and Amon for a purpose. Though he still didn't quite understand what that purpose was, Gladious was here for a reason, and he wouldn't leave until he'd fulfilled that reason. Of course, it would also be nice if he could get a relationship started with Furia, he dreamed. He had become so exhausted so quickly, he didn't even know that he had fallen asleep. His head fell like lead to the table, and narrowly missed the empty plates and sharp silverware. The strage sleeping position he was in made him snore a little bit, but it was a cute snore rather than the loud bellow some men snore with. Inside, The Annoyance rolled his flaming eyes at Gladious's ridiculousness. Kinky, right? =D

What looked like a smile escaped Furia's lips. She pulled herself down and kissed the top of Gladious' head after he had fallen down onto the table. Since he looked like he was sleeping, she asked a couple of the guards to watch him and the Helpers carry him to one of the spare rooms across the hall from her own. Furia giggled lightly, then went into the Arboretum located just inside the Castle walls, like a courtyard. She climbed up one of the pine trees and stared up through the icy glass ceiling at the sky.
She is still thinking about the Glacier Lait, thus desperately wanting dessert. Beyond. =X =D

While Gladious was asleep, he began to have dreams. These dreams weren't how fifteen year old boy's dreams are supposed to be. They are supposed to be about girls and food, and the latest style of swords. However, these dreams were not dreams at all. They were nightmares. Even Gladious knew not what the 'mares were about, and when he awoke, his blankets were lopsided and on the floor, and a pool of blood was underneath him. He realized that he had fallen from his bed and cracked open his head. Just as he realized this, the pain hit him. A splitting head ache, like an earthquake in his mind. He could hardly think straight, and tried as hard as he could to summon the Curse. Yet it would not come, and his head would not heal. Crying out for help, Gladious felt as helpless as when he was a little child.

...Damned if you do~ Furia couldn't help but jump down from the tree after her hunger for the Glacier Lait had grown so strong that she was inclined to run back to the Great Hall for dessert. But - once on the way back, she heard a cry of pain. She felt a pang of sadness and anger, but in a way, she felt like she had to do something. She ran off in the opposite direction on the perpendicular hall to the room that the Helpers had carried Gladious to. The guards weren't nearby and neither were the Helpers. Something was seriously wrong. Furia could only think that someone had attacked him either by magic, or by physical prowess. She kicked down the door and burst into the room, immediately rushing over to Gladious and carefully picking him up into her arms, not caring about any blood stains she may obtain. The blood loss had affected her magic, and she disappeared inside Gladious again, using her magic to heal him as much as she possibly could. ~Damned if you don't...

He woke up, gasping for breath, as if he had just broken the surface of a deep, cold lake. His head was pulsing with pain, and it felt like a massive hang-over. The next thing he noticed was Furia, right there, standing on a broken door, healing him. When he tried to speak, it only sounded like a moan, and he had to mentally project his thoughts to Furia.
"I didn't do this. Furia, this was one of the Spirit's doings."
In stead of giving in to the pain, he sat up and swam straight through it. When he was up on his feet, he summoned The Annoyance to finish up the healing process.
"So...before we go about taking care of these spirits...what can I do to help clean up my blood?"

Amon walks an un beaten path to somewhere noone has ever been before. Somewhere noone will find him...yet still holding on to the faint hope that...someone...will. He finds a long dark cave behind a waterfall deep in the mystical forrest far away from any town or castle. With a wave of his hand, a door appears in the darkness of the hidden cave. He pulls off the necklace that Furia had given him what seemed like so long ago. As he held it in his hand he thought of her room in the castle where he slept and the necklace faded away in his hand. He walked up to the door and placed a hand on it. A small lock appeared just above his finger tips. As the small round lock glowed and dimmed the door slowly opened. Amon closed his eyes as he walked inside. "This should keep out any unwanted guests" He thought to himself. The door slowly closed behind him as he faded into the dark. The other side of the door seemed wightless as Amon slowly floated off the ground. "I can still feel her..." He thought with a sigh of releaf. Amon then fell into a place between Sleep and Awake. He shown with a white glow in the darkness of this place. A glow that he never felt before. He embraced it as it comforted him.

Sorry...I think that day I was just home from a 7 mile hike up hill. I dunno. I'll do better >.< Lets start again.
Throughout the happenings of the day, Gladious hadn't quite felt the Power beacon that he had always felt from Amon disappear. Yet, when he actually paid attention, it was as plain as day that Amon was leaving them. He wondered if they should go after him, or leave him to what he was doing. It seemed as if that protective dog he had first met had broken its leash. He decided to bring this matter to Furia. Imagining the look of pain on Furia's face as he told her about Amon, he hesitated. Maybe she had already noticed? Then the thought occured to him; "Furia will be in less pain if she has Amon close to her..."

...Damned if you do~ Still hiding within Gladious, Furia saw that he was worried for her sake. She winced, a kind of pained smile. She didn't want either of them to be hurt by her, but it couldn't be avoided. One, the other, or both would be suffering. ~Damned if you don't...
