Looking back, Akido didn't walk back there out of modesty as her eyes went wide calling back, "I know you can heal but I still have to ask, Are you alright?" Even a healer had limits and for all she knew he had landed in some sort of acid. She knew people died but if she walked away knowing it that would bother her, besides, he wasn't allowed to die until she ran out of questions to ask him. If he was Ok then she would go with Marcus to get something to eat. He seemed a nice enough person and she didn't know anyone else, eating alone was such a bore too.

Evening couldn't help but go awww when Mr. Catz snuggled up to her, "Your so cute! I may have to steal you from your owner!" She rolled him over and scratched his belly with her nails as well as under his chin, "I have to say that your one of the few I can talk to. I've met a mutant who couldn't speak, I've met a human who got here cause he's a genius but still doesn't talk much, then I've met you. An affectionate cat who loves to cuddle." She put him back on his paws and let him carry on rubbing against her whilst she petted him, "I guess when your 3 months pregnant and got in to this school cause the headmistress felt sorry for you cause reporters stalk you, you have to compete with a lot. They all have powers of some kind, I don't. I just have a baby."

BJ stalked down the path to the school her foul mood following her like a dark aura that could almost radiate around her. Carrying only a backpack and a baseball bat she had tried to dress simply but even the large t-shirt and simple jeans seemed to hang in all the wrong places that emphesized her form that made it so simple for her to get a job as an exotic dancer. That had been her most recent job for people seemed to think it was a joke whenever she wrote her name down. As much as she hated the nickname she still prefered being BJ to Brittney Jessica. It was her mothers name and she wanted nothing to do with it. Making her way through the gates she paused by the fountain to take a deep breath trying to calm herself since she saw two others by the door however it didn't really help she was still angry at the people in town. Even the elderly seemed unable to grow up. Approaching them she thought about just heading to her room but she was lost and had no idea where the dorms were. "Excuse me. Which way are the rooms?"

Marcus looked away so that no one could see him snicker. In general when someone else is in pain or gets hurt is when Marcus laughs, though there is a limit when it's no longer humorous. As Marcus chuckled to himself, the plate in his mouth he had just tightened shifted, resulting in a loud crack. It simply had relaxed into the position it would now stay in, it did cause a breif moment of pain, but that quickly subsided.

Darting off down the hall, Luke had immediately started sliding after about 5 steps. It was one of the few reasons he never got caught by people pursuing him, or at least not usually. Being able to move faster on ice then any other surface sorta gave you a field advantage, especially when you were designing the field.

As he slide down the hall, Luke took a slightly surfer like pose, before heading out the door. Unfortunately, he hadn't expected anyone to be outside..."Gaaaang waaaaaaaaay!!!" Luke yelled as he slide towards the three, then with a quick swerve slide passed "WAAAH!" right into the fountain.

"10 points!" Luke groaned from within the fountain, his legs hanging over the edge. As he raised his left hand in the peace sign, a number 10 made entirely of ice appeared behind him, along with a pair of badly made victory flags that looked a bit lethal.

Still groaning, Luke lifted himself up and started rubbing his head "Why do I always forget the fountain?" He asked himself, turning his head to look at the object in question. Sighing he stood up and brushed himself off, only now noticing BJ.

At first, he wore a look of surprise, then he grinned "Wow, another new one. This is one hell of an eventful day ain't it?" He said, grinning from ear to ear. "Well then, since I actually get a chance to be part of the welcoming comity this time..." He raced over so he was in front of them near the doors "It is my great honor..." He said, moving his hands around with his back turned to them "To welcome you to our school!" As he announced this he turned, revealing a little welcoming sign about two feet in height made entirely of ice. Instant ice sculptures, gotta love them As it was the only power he had any real control over, Luke had grown almost masterful at making ice sculptures with his ability.

BJ waited expectantly for an answer until she was forced to jump aside with a yelp as some lunitic came skating out the front door riding along ice wich only darkened her mood. However it helped a bit when he slid into the fountain of course due to her mood the fact that he didn't crack his head open. Realizing how sour that sounded, even to her, she let out a second deep breath running a hand through her hair before replying, "Yea it's been a hell of a day." The welcome sign actually did make her feel a bit better but not by much, at least it got rid of the perpetual scowl that she had for the last couple days. , "Is everyone at this school so dramatic?" She tried to keep the sarcasm out but it didn't work so great. Seeing people with powers that actually worked properly irritated her almost as much as people making fun of her name.[/align

"Um....no, no, its just me" Luke said thinking about it for a second, actually sounding rather calm. "Anyway, welcome to the school. If you need someone to show you around, I'm free, but uh...if anyone asks, you didn't see me, and you have no idea what a frost wedgey is..."Luke said, looking left and right like he was expecting to be mauled any moment by someone.

As he stood their a thought suddenly occurred to him "So...assuming your not one of the regulars, what can you do?" He asked curiously, then he suddenly scratched the back of his head nervously "Ah, sorry, guess that was a bit rude. I should probably tell you what I can do first" He said, looking back at the school for a few seconds. "Well...for one I'm a Hydromancer, thus all the ice" He said, pointing out the trail he'd arrived on "Also I'm a shapeshifter...at least that's what they tell me. As of yet the only thing I can turn into is a wolf...and I never know when, where, or how its gonna happen...or when I'll turn back for that matter..." He said thinking about it for a few minutes "Its really inconvenient actually...those desks were NOT equipped for four legs..."

She resisted the urge to scowl at him trying to convenience herself that it wasn't his fault. It wasn't working, leaving town earlier that day had completely ruined her day and her mood was being persistent. When he asked about her powers she openly glared at him trying not to roll her eyes at him. Great a proper shape shifter. When he finished speaking she responded a bit more hostilely than she meant to, "Human no powers. Just needed a place to live for a bit so the owners said I was welcome here." BJ tried to sound convincing yet wouldn't be surprised if LIAR was written across her forehead. People tended to be able to tell that she was a mutant no matter how many times she said she wasn't.

Crossing her arms she remembered what had irritated her in the first place that morning. She had tried to turn into a bear again since it had worked the other day and had only succeeded in making herself a triple D. Letting out an agitated sigh she ran her hand through her hair a second time trying to calm her nerves and when she spoke again she sounded almost friendly, or at least not directly pissed off at him, "Someone to show me around would be great."

"Then I'm your man. I know this place like the back of my hand!" Luke held up his hand as he said this "Hey, that's new..."

The boy then gave a nervous laughed "Ehehehehe...anyway, I can show you where you want to go. If you don't already know your room number, I can show you to the office if you want" He offered, waiting for her response And hopefully I won't gain 3.4 million dollars worth of white wolf fur along the way... He thought in the back of his mind. Then suddenly he blinked in a slightly unnatural way, as if just realizing "I didn't introduce myself did I? Names Luke Wolfe, son of....well technically real wolves don't use names, and I never met my real parents so...lets just stick with that first part....er....sorry, rambling" He muttered at the very end "So whats your name?"
PostPosted: Tue Dec 16, 2008 6:24 pm

BJ smiled a bit, nothing drastic but it was a change from the scowl. He babbled but it wasn't as annoying as some people could be. Thinking it over, "I don't know where my room is yet so that will work." As he introduced himself there was a bit of irony but she let it slide. Who was she to make fun of other people's names after being cursed with her own. Thinking for a moment about not giving her name at all she added as an after thought, "BJ Wainna. Nice to meet you." she said with a grim look. Every time she said it having it legally changed didn't seem like such a bad idea. It could have been worse though. Her actual fathers last name was Mona. Eventually she might get around to telling him she was a mutant, unless an easier way came up. Showing people what she did tended to be.

As Akido asked if Logan was alright Marcus began to get a severe headache. Headaches have plagued him since he was a child, but since his accident they have intensified ten-fold. The pain however is not the problem, when his headaches occur the illusion hiding his appearance fails. Being that Marcus was not ready to show the entire school what he actually looked like, he needed to get back to his room until his migraine passed. "I forgot something in my room", he said quickly to Akido, "I'll be back in a few, then we can go down to the cafeteria. Just wait here, ok?". He left shortly after, not giving her enough time to respond. He, as a matter of fact, didn't have time to wait, he felt the pain worsening and he knew the illusion would fail soon. He made it halfway down the hall when the pain caused him to grow dizzy and he leaned up against the wall to keep from falling. He clutched his head, the pain resembling a nail being pushing through the back of his skull. For a moment, he felt his illusion dissipate and his actual appearance was visible, but only for a short while before it came back. He knew he needed to get back to the room before it went down and he wasn't able to bring it back up.

For a moment stood there completely silent, as if trying to comprehend Bj's name, giving a look she probably thought she'd seen before. In truth, Luke was just trying to memorize it "Nice to meet you BJ" He said with a grin. Of course Luke wouldn't get it, he'd spent over half his life living with wolves after all. "Alright, well the office is this way" He said, turning and heading for the door. Once he was holding it open, he turned back "Oh, and sorry in advance if I forget your name. I'm horrible at remembering peoples names" He said, playfully slapping himself in the head for a moment.

Cole looked over to the new girl who had just walked up. He was about to say something when the one wolf wonder came charging through. He took a step back as the overenthusiastic boy shot by. He stared for a moment before shaking his head.
"This girl's gonna get the wrong impression of this school if /he's/ showing her around," he whispered to Luna, jokingly.

Damian walked around her leg's, rubbing his side against them, once she had set him down. He walked back and forth doing this, much like a real cat was.
Lucky for him, he didn't even have to try being cat-like. It all came naturally to him. Even when he was in his human form, he tended to do cat-like things accidentally.
He listened to Evening as she spoke, thinking about everything she said.
'A baby is a big deal,' he thought to himself. 'You shouldn't feel bad about not having powers. At least your normal. And you have a baby. I bet you'll be really glad once it's born. Hm...I wonder if it's a boy or a girl?'
For a short moment, he wondered if he should transfer his thoughts to her, but he was afraid it might frighten her. So he decided against it. At least for the time being.

Logan stayed sitting in his position on the floor, rubbing his sore back with his hands.
"Yeah, for the most part. Nothing fatal or anything," he said in response to Akido's query.
He gingerly pushed himself up off the ground after a moment more of back rubbing. He placed his palms on the sides of his back and bent his arms at the elbows. He stretched backwards once before letting his arms fall loose again. He then turned his upper body sideways, resulting in a few loud 'cracks' coming from his back.
He then poked his head out of the room to look at Akido. He was a bit surprised to see that Marcus was gone, but he couldn't really pursue him with his lower half partially immobile.
"Mm, well, as I said, you can come visit me whenever. I'm always happy to answer questions. Not many students are as interested as you are in my work," he said.

Luna smirked, "Did we ever agree on a place to go?" She couldn't help but wonder where kat was cause last she remembered Kat was with him. It was then that Kat went storming past slamming the front door hard enough it almost splintered, "Wonder what bugs up her a**."

Kat had left the cafeteria and was on her way back to her garden where she could mess with her plants. When she got there she laid in a rose bush that she had mutated so there were no thorns, stared up at the sky and thought.

Pandora looked to the cat, "You want some milk Mr. Catz? Follow me." She stood up and let her body re-adjust before walking to the cafeteria, "I'll take a plate of orange chicken and fried rice with Mountain Dew to drink and he'll take a plate of milk." The cafeteria lady laughed at the cat know who it was, and gave her the things. She sat down at a table and started to eat her dinner, "Drink up Mr. Catz."

A couple sarcastic replies came to mind but BJ kept them to herself. Turning to following him she simply replied, "That's fine. I'm not so hot with names either." More bull but it was a good excuse. Chances are if the girl forgot your name she was doing it on purpose to annoy you. "So what's so great about this place where they let every side show in town flock here without the mobs of torches and pitchforks following?" Her bad mood was lessening however it still showed through her words. When in a better mood she generally wasn't so sarcastic and tries to hold back her caustic comments.

Akido grinned at him, "You might regret that later. I believe it was my last teacher who said she never thought there was a such thing as to many questions until she met me." Looking out the door a pout formed on her lips she had hoped Marcus would help her find her room as well as take her to get something to eat but apparently not. "I think I am going to hunt down my room so I can put my trophy up with my pack, I'll find you later when you're not preoccupied." Stepping out into the hallway she made a guess. People liked to go right in general so she automatically looked left. She was in room eight which was on the second floor. The real question, where was that? Or more like would her pride allow her to ask. Taking a left she found the room after a bit, quite faster than she thought she would and seeing other stuff she wondered who the room mate was as she moved a picture to mount her bone instead.
