"M-m-m-mello... I fell asleep, with you!" I almost hurled!
"Oh yeah, i was humming to you, and I got lazy and didn't get up. I didn't want to disturb you, and I fell asleep by accident! Sorry!" He explained, but then...
"Also, just a little payback, Matt fell asleep with you too, Hyde!" He sneered.
I BLEW UP LAUGHING! I couldn't stop. She glowed bright red and screamed.
"Is that true?" She asked.
"Uhhh, uhhhh, Yes?" He said, scared of getting a whooping out of her.
Hyde looked like she was going to throw him out of the window, but she smiled.

"Really huh?" I turned my head away to hide the blush.
"Um Hyde..? Are you ok?" He touched my shoulder. I turned and smiled while getting a devilish idea in my head.
"How was I last night?" I asked smoothly.
"HUH!?WHA-Wha do ya mean by that!?" He blushed and backed up.
"I mean, did I take up to all the covers? Or did we cuddle?" He countinued blushing and stamered out something incoherent. I broke then, into an uncontrolable fit of laughter.
"I- I'm sorry- I- I just couldn't resist! Your- Your face was priceless!" I got out between laughs. Everyone else began laughing to. I collapsed on the ground and when I finally stopped and settled myself down I looked up at him, still blushing.
"Hyde."
"Hmm?"
"That was cold."
"I know" xp

I was laughing my head off. Now i knew that Matt like hyde. I couldn't stop laughing.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!" I laughed. Mello was too, Fisma passed out after, 'how was I last night' and Matt loked about ready to throw us all out the window!
"Mello...!" i began to say with a smirk.
"What, NO!!!! DON'T SAY ANYTHING!" He froze.
'Well, inthe morning, I saw Mello holding on to you..." Risma trailed off.
I froze.
Secretly, I was happy.
I was on my hands and knees trying to breath! Mello was blushing, and so wasn't I.
"How's that for first date love?" Asked Hyde.
I tripped her and we continued to laugh our heads off.

After laughing till I literally thought my head was going to explod I calmed down.
"O-Ok." I began to giggle again. "Ok. Im better now."
"Who wants breakfast?" Matt asked, trying to distract everyone.

" I DO!" Shouted everyone!
I gave everyone a hug, including Mello, but, I huged him longer.
"Good morning Everyone in the hotel!" I said.
Mello chuckled and Put his arm around me.

Risma smiled at the way Mello and Gone always cuddled with each other. It was sweet. Hyde had Matt, and Gone had Mello. She was happy for them. "I guess then... NO!!!!! What is wrong with me?! He's working on this Kira case. He's not ready for a commitment." Risma thought. She knew Near wasn't ready. "I'll wait until this case is done with..." The thought saddened her. She loved Near more than anyone in the world. But, she wouldn't ask him until later.
She got up and fell to the ground. "Risma? Are you ok?" She heard Matt ask and felt the presence of too many people around her. "I'm fine." She said. "I just stood up too fast." The presence broke. She no longer felt claustrophobic. She stood up again and held her head until the black dots she saw were gone. She sat back down again.
"God, I'm hungry."

"Food's coming soon!" Said Matt.
"Yay..." said everyone.
We were all bored.
"We have to go back soon! I have to do my meeting with near about my world placement.. I'm going to America.!"
"World placment?" asked Hyde.
"Yes, world placement. It's a newly devised plan they came up with. The L Chldren's old enough will be placed around the globe, while near has his data base. He will assign us to cases in that area. But if not enough children are at least in the area, others from different places will be assined those world jobs from home or travel. Quite smart of near to think of that, I think!" Explained Matt.
"I'm going to america, along with matt because he is considered an L's child. Every letter has a secondary, that will travel with them. Matt is my secondary, and Gone doesn't have one. Only two L child pairs to a country, secondaries included." Continued Mello.
"And every able whammy has to meet with him this summer... I'm his first appointment of the season!" I finished.
"Wow, busy!" Said Risma.

Risma's heart raced like she was getting on the plane right now to see Near. She bit her lip and smiled. She turned away to keep the others from knowing that she was blushing. "You OK, Risma?" Gone asked. "Yeah. I'm fine."

A half hour later, we ate our breakfast and packed up our things.
"Why do you want to go to america Gone?" Asked Risma.
"I allways thought that it was interesting to go there, also, I couldn't be without Mello!" XD

Risma smiled and nodded. "Um... Gone?" Gone turned her head and saw the almost desprate look in Risma's eyes. "Yeah?"
"When you see Near..." She started to say. Gone laughed. "I know you like him. I understand. I won't tell him a thing."

We checked out of the hotel and headed for the car.
"So...America eh?" I looked at them. "Exciting." We hoped in the car and Gone, calling driver again, pressed on a speed borderline scuicidel/homicidel.

An hour later, we arrived at the Whammy's house, parked the car, and we all got out. I looked at my watch...
"Damn! I'm gonna be late!"
I ran for my dorm room hall, Lawliet Hall, and dashed for my room. I put my stuff away, and grabbed some new clothes and headed for the bathrooms.
As soon as I was done my shower, I changed into my Cute little sundress I bought not too long ago that had Pink, orange, blue and red polka dots. I put on my make up, threw on some white Ground flats and dashed out of the bathroom, only to run into Mello, again.
"Whoa, why the rush! You have, like, five minutes?" Asked Mello.
"Oh! Okay, well then, Shall we?" I offered him my hand, and he took it.
We walked to Roger's office.
"Hey Roger!" I greeted as I walked into the door.
"You're right on time!" He greeted. "Near will see you now."
We walked over to Near's little "Private office" and knock.
"Come in Gone." He said. I entered his office. He was playing with his finger puppets again. "So, world Placement.... You're the first one to get registered! So, you can go anywhere. But..." He trailed off.
"I wanna go to America!" I said.
"Really, is that what you want? Ther's no turning back, you know?" He asked.
"I'm sure of it!!" I said.
"Okay, well then, I'll write your name down under 'America' and...." He seemed to trail off again.
"What?" I asked.
"It seems that Mello is going to America allready too...." He turned around and smirked.... "I knew you like him!" Said Near.
"What? How did you know?" I asked.
"It's kinda obvious, I mean, the way you act. When will you ever tell him about how you feel?" He asked.
"I did allready, last night..." I didn't finish.
"How did it go?" He asked, again.
"He liked me too-"
"I KNEW IT!" He Laughed.
"Obvious?"
"Yeah, exactly!"
Well, I gotta go now." I said.
"Okay, thanks for comign on time!" He said "You were almost late!"
"Geez, I tried. But you know, Near, if L could see you now...." I choked out. "He would be proud of you."
"Thanks," He said.
I left the office after that. Mello lokked mad.
"I'd like to puch that cheeky twerp one!" He said through griited teeth.
"Oh, well, let's find the others!" I said.
"Bye!" Said Roger.
Mello took my hand again as we left Near and Roger behind. sweatdrop

Near walked out of his room and saw Gone and Mello holding hands and laughed quietly. Mello heard him and turned around. "Shut up, you freakin' twerp!!" He said harshly. Near still smiled. Gone looked at him. "Where are you going?" She asked.
"I...I'm visiting a friend." He said. "Oh... OK!" Gone said and didn't ask him about it again. All three of them heard a piano playing softly in a distence. "A piano? It must be Risma." Mello said. "Yeah..."
Near parted from them. "I'll see you a little later." He said. Gone waved at him. "'Kay!" She said. Mello just gave Near a dirty look and walked away. Near followed the sound of the piano.
Risma had gotten back to her dorm and was completely ingrossed in thought about Near. "What am I thinking? He probably doesn't even feel that way. He's not the type of person to." She thought and started playing her piano subconsiously. All she could think about were the results that she would get when and if she told Near how she felt. She didn't even realize that someone had been knocking at her door. They knocked a few times and then left. Risma had a certain feeling when the person appeared at her door. But now the feeling was gone and she just felt weird. When she realized that someone was at her door, she snapped her head up. All too late. They were already gone. She opened the door and saw Near walking down the hallway. She hesitated before she followed him.
Near ran into Mello and Gone again. "So, how was it?" Gone said and Near just raised an eyebrow above the other. "No, your friend." She cleared. "Oh. Well, it didn't quite suceed. The person didn't seem to answer their door." He said. "Oh, i'm sorry 'bout that!" Gone said sympatheticaly. Near shrugged and walked off again. Risma was running to catch up to him so fast that she ran right into Mello on accident. "Oh, sorry!" She said. "Did either of you see someone walk down here?" She asked. "Uh, yeah. Near just turned that corner." Gone said and pointed to where he had gone. "Dammit..." Risma said and followed. She finally caught up to Near. "Near!" She yelled quietly. He turned around. He straightened his back and looked at her. "Were you just..." Was all she could say between breaths. "Yeah. I wanted... I wanted to tell you something."

Wow, that was wierd of Risma?
But then, I remebered....
Near, her feelings, him being so eager and shy....
No, that can't be!
Near isn't like this does he really?
No, it's all a big misunderstanding, mabey he really just wanted to talk to someone?
But, it all added up, I was so sure, and I didn't even have to sleep on it.
Near Had feelings for Risma, and he wanted to tell her.

Risma's heart more or less skipped a beat. "Y..you wanted t..to tell me something? What is it?" She asked. "Well, I..." He started but was interupted by footsteps. She made a gesture with her hand telling him not to say anything. Honestly, she didn't care if anyone heard. She just wanted to know. If it is what she was hoping for, she couldn't let anyone know by eavesdropping on our conversation so we kept quiet. When the foot steps had disapeared, Risma slightly pushed Near into a corner so no one could tell what they were saying. Then he continued. "I wanted to tell you that... i... i love you, Risma."
Risma's heart was beating a mile a minute. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. "You do?" She asked. Near nodded and they both smiled at each other. "Don't worry. I do too."
