and you couldn't go to a cyber-cafè or something like that?? in their napping hours or with a babysitter?? (jus asking...)
welll, basic maintainance is fine, but you should learn to do more...
There's a computer at the library, but it's always busy, and no internet cafe. All comes of living in the back end of beyond!
I'm back properly now so it's not a problem anymore, well, till next October anyway when my contract runs out! Should get saving really so I can pay for next year! oh to be organised!

well, i sorta live outside town too, but it has grown to where i live now...and you complain about your pc? guess how old mine is..!
yea, organized...but haven't you saved some already? cuz if not then it'll be way harder to do so...!

Well, the next nearest major town is about 30 miles away, so unless something major happens there I doubt we'll ever become a burb... xd In fact, I have a feeling they're more of a backwater than we are! Where do you live? If you don't mind me asking?

I've never been good at saving. I'm VERY good at spending though! The only way I can save is to squirrel stuff/money away and hope I forget about it till I need it. And kids are so damned expensive I don't have much left over to squirrel with....
You're right though, the sooner I start the better, don't want another internet-free spell gonk

Yay, new poll! My PC is custom built, but I have no diea what's in it anymore because Jeff fiddeled with it so much. I'm going to have to save up some seriouse cash for a new graphics card if I actually get into Digipen for next semester. Gah! Can I talk to Jeff just to get him to work on my pc?! All the local tecs have tried to rip me off one too many times.
I live out in the boonies where all there is is dial-up. Damn city people keep encroaching, though. They'll bring cable, which is good, but then I'll have random people walking into my yard to 'play with the horsies'

ok Fairy~Nuff, i live way down in south america...a slender country called Chile, in a city called concepcion...i lived in a zone where there was no city before...and the city itself is quite small, compared to the greater cities...more or less 500.000 hab...but that's a small cuantity...
and if i know what i'm doing say you? not really, i've basically guessed and asked all of what i know of my pc...and is yours 8 years old??
it costed 3x the value it has now...
i cant give you any tips about saving, but what i know is the more you think bout it, the more you want it...lol
why do you say they've tried to rip you more than once charamath? are they like "she's a noob so we'll get extra $"??? Don't you have any friends that could help you out with specifications??

And that's exactly what the tech people did. Unfortunatly, Jeff is the ONLY comp-savvy person I know. IDK, I have to talk to him sometime soon to see if he wants the ferrets. He bought them for me and they were 'our' pets, so I should offer them to him first. I don't think they'll be able to move with me to Washington. Eh, I've got a few months.

One family's idiot Jack Russel came running into the pasture tearing after the horses and his owners didn't even come after him. One of my horses takes particular pleasure in gut-stomping dogs, so he's lucky he survived. I'm planning on moving to Washington if I can fanagle a student loan out of my dad. He's been refusing to since I graduated highschool, and I haven't gone to any decent school as a result. There's a very exclusive college in Washington for video game design and animation. I got accepted there before, but no loan. I kind of gave up on going there while I was with Jeff because I figured I'd just get a regular art degree and paint/sculpt whatever I wanted while raising a family, but now that he's gone screwy that dream went out the window. Time for a career!

Ack, I know how to save, I'm just rubbish at it! We're living on one income at the moment and things can be a bit tight. Kids cost too much! Still, there's a change that I might be able to find a job sooner than expected. Will make life much easier.

wow, that's be a nice carrer, i had planned on picking domething like that, but i had to stick with engineering (cuz i chose already) and i cant step back after 3 years...plus i noticed i had more talent in arts and music...but i'll have to stick with programmation and robotics...oh well, life's life...
yea, now that everythings literally been thrown out the window, think in yourself for some time, and later on, when you finish, dedicate time for the guy you want to meet...

What kind of engineering are you studying? Things like architectural and computer engineering would actually transition quite well into the field I'm going into. You'd be twice as valuable. Although just doing whatever artwork I felt like kinda was my dream, character design is a well-paying field, and now that I don't have a chance for that dream anymore, three years later I'm switching. It's possible! Come on, you can go to Digipen with me! There's the best in the country for game design!

lol, any art thing, xcept sculpture, i can do happily...
i'm just strating with a programmation course! lol, how could i go to digpen with you if i live where i live? i'd have to go after i graduate and have some money for a trip and i'd have to work and study at the same time! X_x
