Sorrow opened her eyes and saw sky, she rolled onto her side, and turned to look the other way. Her body tensed at first, the memory confirming what she had hoped was nothing more then story to scare her from coing here.
She got to her feet seething angry, her body felt like s**t and didn't really want to move, but she was running on a insane hatred of this man. She held no pity for him, a coldness of revenge in her eyes as she pounced on him pushing himm away from Koas. She started punching at any part of him she could connect with. "How dare you....how dare you defile his body....you ...are...no...father...of...his." Sorrow stopped hitting with her fists when her knuckles started to bleed, and just grabbed him around the neck to choke the life out of him as she slammed his head repeatedly into the ground. "DIE...DIE...DIE...!"

A voice echoed in in sorrows mind, "Sorrow get back!" Sorrow glanced over her shoulder to see a little boy with deep mahogany hair running at her with a scythe. she rolled and the boy launched into the air and cranked his arm back to swing straight up the middle of the mans body.
The body fades to ashes and blows away in the wind, "Well, now that he's out of the way it should be a ton easier to get to Holy." He walks over and helps Sorrow, "Thank you for your help Miss Sorrow. I look forward to seeing Grandpa and you in the future." The little kid smiled and walked over to Akuma and reached out for her scythe. it glowed with a bright red light. The boy frowned, "Don't you sass me! you'll be mine some day!" they scythe stopped glowing and the boy picked it up. he then walked over to Kaos and rested the opposite end of the blade on Kaos's chest, "Get up Grandpa... you have to at least live to my seventh birthday... when I'm actually born..."
Kaos sat up and looked at the child and smiled, "you're so..."
"Yeah yeah, whatever! just get Sorrow and get out of here. this is no place for the mentally unstable." the kid rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.
Kaos smiled and patted the kids head, "Well, Now you know what Twilite Town is like. hopefully it will get better some day." Kaos took Yuma's hand and Rested his head on hers, "Don't you dare try to take my Sorrows either... they're in the past now and I will get over them..." He kissed her forehead, "Well now... you never picked out an outfit for tomorrow did you?"

The little boy walked over to Akuma and laid her flat next to her scythe, "Mommy, do you know how i can fix you?"
Akuma didn't move; didnt speak... she was almost gone. The little boy laid on her chest and cried, "Don't go... if you go then I go... and daddy would be so sad... Please mommy please don't go..."

Yuma turned her head and spit on the spot where the body of his father was. "I've never wanted to murder so badly in all my life then seeing what you said to him and finding out it was all true." Sorrow rested her head on his shoulder; "Sorry i was unable to be of much use, and hell no i haven't had any time yet. Not to mention where is there a store around her to buy clothes, its not like i can just blink and my clothes change."
Quannah kicked up some wind landing with SalSoon. "Master Koas, Detrich intercepted Vermillion, he has two Harpies with him who are rather adamant about seeing you immediately, they are on the way back to your place.
SalSoon moved over and nuzzled the little boy on Akuma's chest with her snout. Speaking very softly; "I can do my best so that your mom doesn't go, but she'll need further healing after I stabilize." SalSoon gathered her usuable amount of energy, and setting a mental block in her head she set the healing spell loose that began the slow rise of energy.
SalSoon smile turned to a frown; "Quannah we gotta go, something very large is coming, and i really don't want to find out what it is."
Quannah grumbled; "I felt it too, so go to battlefield medicine, and lets get out of here."
SalSoon nodded; "Alright get airborne with your two, last thing we need is getting caught on the ground, and I have one minute left until she is good enough to make the trip."
Quannah nearvously ducked her head for her passengers to climb on; "Alright SalSoon, but not a second later."

The Little boy laid the scythe on his mothers chest and whipped a tear from his eye with his stripped sleeve, "See you soon mom..." He got up and grabbed his shaddy scythe and ran in the direction of the enemy, "I'll hold 'em off you guys get out of here."
Kaos nodded and grabbed Sorrow and leaped up on Quannah's back to set her down, then leaped off and grabbed Akuma, "Alright, lets go."

Quannah spread her wings and and tried for the most gentle leap she could do. She circled up before making the final turn for Koas's Island.
SalSoon came up along side; Did my efforts help master Koas?"

Vermillion stared off the island, he had relaxed his grip on Bri and Xack, but dared not let go of their hands.
Detrich came over; "You really should try and get some sleep Vermillon, you look like hell, and I'd wake you for dinner."
"I won't be joining you for dinner tonight Detrich, please leave me be, and your people are here."

Quannah circled down to land, and SalSoon landed a bit later.
Sorrow slid down and went inside and readied Ailes room for Akuma.

Kaos smiled At SalSoon, "Yes they gave her enough power to hang in there, and thank you dear."
He brought Akuma into Ailes room And laid her down, "Thank you for setting the room," He whispered to Yuma while giving her a quick peck on the cheek.
He got settled into a chair that he called in from another room, "Alright, lets see if i can get her up and running in a couple of hours." he rested his index and middle fingers on her Temples and began to concentrate. Akuma flinched then relaxed when she heard her father whisper something to her.

Yuma nodded and moved back out the door to disappear somewhere.
Vermillion kneeled down and finally let go of their hands; "I'm sorry for taking you away , but i lost my chance to be a father by coming here. Its been the source of my lament for ages, and gave them all the right tools needed to mess me up good. You have no reason to like me, i've commited horrible crimes to your kin, but I ask for your forgiveness. If you walk away without saying another word to me i'll understand."

Xack was furious and just as he lifted a foot to turn and walk away he felt his sister's hand leave him. She took a few steps toward Vermillion and smiled with tears in her eyes, "i... forgive you..." She whispered as she wrapped her arms around his waist.

Vermillion hugged Bri back lightly; "Thank you, I'm a long way from being well again, but this helps. Now go on, your brother will worry if you are here alone with me, and some people are wanting to talk with me alone."

Bri smiled and ran out the door to catch up with her brother.

Kaos comes out to the kitchen looking completely worn out. He wonders around the kitchen in search of something, then finally asks, "Does anyone know where the..." he didn't even get to finish his sentence before he collapsed on the floor.

SalSoon rolled her eyes; "This is crazy, people falling down everywhere, you'd think there was a plauge going on here." She picked Koas up and carried him into the living room and laid him on the couch. She found a blanket and covered him up, she turned around to see Xack and Bri, and she nodded. "You can sit with him, but try to keep it down. He needs his rest and dinner will be ready soon so keep that in the back of your mind."
SalSoon left them to be alone with Koas as she retook her spot in the kitchen.

Quannah approached Vermillion and sat down beside him. "You feeling okay, I've spoken to Detrich, and he's told me a little of what you were mumbling after you two landed here." Vermillion shook his head; "I don't think i'll ever be okay Quannah, I've done horrible things to children, I choose to believe in a lie, and I helped cover up a bigger crime to other races here." Quannah spoke; "You're feeling guilty about what you did, remorse is the first sign of coming to terms with what happened, and I don't blame you one bit. You didn't choose to come here. I really didn't want to either, but I came to terms with my choice and made it without regret of the people i left behind in Arynia. You dedicated your life to the defense of those in Arias, and i spent my life helping those who were dying or the familes of the dead.

After a couple of hours Kaos shot up again and screamed, "Where's my tea pot!" Then he looked around and noticed he was in the living room. He rested his head in his hands and sighed, "I could have swore i was just in the kitchen...Oh, well..." he stood up and walked to the kitchen.

Sorrow was half out of her chair, and SalSoon was just setting down the platter with the meat on it to go see what was going on when he came in.
Detrich just pointed at the stove; "Your tea pot is on the stove master Koas, if you wait a moment the water will be boiling in it."
Quannah was absent as was Vermillion from the table.
SalSoon turned wiping her hands on her clothing. "Will Akuma be eating tonight and should I leave a covered plate for you as well Master Koas? I've already taken dinner into the two children, they were being dears and watching over you sleeping."

Kaos settled at the table and sighed, "Agh, I had this horrible dream that those darn hoodlums stole my Tea pot and dropped it off the side of my home as the drifted off with it..." Kaos rubbed his face a few times, "No, I don't think Akuma or I will be joining you all for dinner... and I'm very sorry I can't prepare it, but I can barely stand right now..."

"Tell me about it..." Yuma muttered from where she sat eating. SalSoon brought over the finished tea and poured a cup for Koas. "Its okay master Koas, I've taken over your kitchen for the evening, and for tomorrow morning. All you will be doing is resting, and checking up on Akuma. So try to relax, and dispel any unneeded barriers. However, enjoy a cup of tea, and i apologize if its a bit stronger then you like it. i'm used to a dragon's tastes in teas."
Detrcih chuckled; "SalSoon your tea will put scales on his chest...I..." The glare from SalSoon shut detrich up and put him to finishing his plate up to avoid the burning gaze. SalSoon spoke sweetly; "Forgive him, its not that bad, and remember rest no chores for tonight or tomorrow morning."
