Kai's attention was back on the vampire in front of him. He tensed up, getting ready to fight.

Soko quickly jumped back towards his master sparda and put his sword away

"Don't hurt either of them." Sparda looked at them, "I guess we can start the invasion now that the battle outside is heating up I think we should join in on the fun." Sparda smiled, "Send the head of the human commander to the Holy Order."

Kanna stayed silent. She couldn't look at her brother, Saphira, or anyone else. She wondered if she made the right choice.
Kai glared at the vampire, then at Sparda.

Outside the crusaders were gaining ground on the vampire army, but all hopes of winning were hopeless to the commander. The vampires were killing dozens at a time the armies of crusaders were being pushed back.

It is the time of the vampire and it is now do you wish to join me? Your brother may still come or you may visit your brother my promise always stays."

soko suddenly jumped out the window and started riping people in half with his wings and licking the blood from them.

Kanna didn't answer. She just stayed beside Sparda. She didn't like killing humans at all, but that probably couldn't be avoided. She remembered the promise she had made with Kai that night when their parents died and when they were turned into vampires. They promised not to harm humans, and to protect them. "I'm sorry Kai." She said again.
Kai saw what she was thinking about their promise. Kai just stared at her. Then he glared at Sparda. "I will get her back." He vowed.
Kanna knew she wouldn't be able to visit Kai, or he'll try to keep her away from Sparda.

soko flew back in threw the window after getting his fill on blood. " so master is the girl joining us or is she going with them"

Sparda looked at Kanna, "Are you ready to leave?" Sparda looked outside a large hole of dead bodies was in the middle of the battle, "Soko we are leaving call the army to follow."

Kanna nodded and looked at Kai one more time before they left. I'm sorry..... She thought again.
Kai heard that telepathically. I'll be watching. Remember that. He thought back and mounted Saphira. "This isn't over." He said glaring at Sparda. Then he looked at Kanna. "Good bye for now." He mumbled and Saphira started to fly.

Sparda kicked down the Citidel door and walked outside, instantly all the vampires looked at Sparda. "We are leaving." The army followed Sparda as they made thier way to the destroyed city. Sparda planned on building a new castle there and to rebuild the city, that would be where they would attack the humans.
