ELA'S FIRST PHAN CONVERT Current status=nearly complete!!!
My developing phanphriend visited me today. I showed her part of the movie. (KP, don't torment me; it is much easier to see a movie than a play.) She actually calls Erik by his name, unlike most people who when they see the movie call him The Phantom, and is reeeeeeeeeeally an Erik-sympathizer. (I got her doing that. I had to learn it the hard way so I saved her the trouble.) We couldn't stop chattering away about Phantom. So all she has to do is see the movie a few more times so that she knows the music and stuff, and read the book(s). I told her as soon as she achieves complete phan-dom she should join the Phantom Phan Guild! You have a new member coming up soon, phellow phans!!!!!!!!
EDIT: She also has to learn to get Christine's name right. She keeps calling her Katherine. For shame!

Okay, i kno I'm on this thread quite often, but.... Senior prom was saturday, and I was super-excited to be going with my bf of three years. My dress was pretty much a modernized Christine wedding dress, pretty tiara-thingy included. We showed up at tarantini's, which is where prom was, and the first thing I notice when I go through the door is the GIANT chandelier. I kept my mouth shut, because my friends already think I'm a phreak, but about halfway through the night, my best guy friend pipes up and says "Sam, you better watch out, or Erik might drop the chandelier and kidnap you, since your wearing his girlfriend's dress." and then he cracks up.

I was walking around with some Science Olympiad people two days ago. I started singing MotN...and one of them started singing with me. It turned out she was a semi-phan, who even calls Erik by his name. (WHY AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS TO LEARN THIS THE HARD WAY?!?!)

Ah, MotN... A friend of mine sung that to me yesterday. He's Cuban like me (though he was actually born in Cuba and I wasn't), so he had an adorable little accent. I was like "*melt*"

Well, I kept on forgetting to post stuff...so all I have to say is that NSO turned phantomish, I watched Hello Dolly because it had MC in it, I become more and more like a Phantom every day, and my friend has basically been converted...
And THIS.
Band class. Mr. Grifa: Sadly, the camera with the concert video ran out of batteries and the cable got lost... Everyone: Aww! Mr. G.: So I'll hope to get it fixed by Tuesday. In the meantime, I'll just let you watch Phantom of the Opera... Me: OMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!! *phanhyperizes in the middle of class* Everyone: O_O *stares* Me: *grins maniacally* Mr. G.: *puts Phantom on teh TV and leaves* People behind me: *chatterchatter* Me: *cutoff sign* No disrupting teh Phantom or else...*starts watching like a phan* And after that I went around asking everyone how they liked it. Band class is actually where I discovered Phantom. Mr. Grifa seems to be at least a fan.

I visited my old elementary school today. The head teacher usually has trivia-type things for choosing people to go to lunch. Mr. M.: Today, the topic is...books and their authors. Me: *smiles and raises hand* Mr. M.: *calls on someone* Someone: *says book and author and goes to lunch* Mr. M.: *calls on someone else* Someone else: *says book and author and goes to lunch* Mr. M.: *calls on me* Me: PhantomoftheOperabyGastonLeroux! Mr. M.: By who? Me: Gaston Leroux. Mr. M.: You may go. Me: *goes to lunch*
Oh, and also, since it was movie intersession, I talked to people about movie making. Some of them said that they were going to do "Attack of the Teachers." They said that they were going to bring some makeup and put gobs of it on Mr. M.'s face. What I suggested was only putting it on half of his face. (See where this is going?) They thought they might do that. I then suggested that they change the C in Mr. M.'s first name (his name is Eric) to a K. Erik Mjolsnes. (*dies laughing*) I can't wait to see if they took my suggestion.

okay, as any of you who read my posts on here know, my friends think i'm just a teeny bit too obsessed with Phantom. So when my best friend(the one that got me started on Phantom) and i went to see Saving Jane and the Argument in concert at our local theater, I kept my mouth shut when I saw the awesome chandelier that looked like it was gonna fall down any minute (the theater is being renovated back to its original coolness after having been a movie theater for years). But, my friend looked up shortly after i did, and yells to me over the music "Sam! Erik's gonna kill us all! Look!" See, they can't call me crazy. They bring it up more often than i do.
