I handed Teddy the candy with a smile, took his freehand, and led him into the Circus, my expression becoming one of nervousness.
"Sam, what the ******** are you doing?" I mumbled to myself. I knew Valentine could probably hear me, but I didn't care. Sam didn't know what she was getting herself into.

"Why; who is he? Is he dangerous?" Markus hadn't mentioned Valentine, but he really didn't need to. Teddy could easily guess based on his earlier reaction to the man. It seemed a little strange to come to the circus if you really didn't like the guy running it. Teddy was thoughtful as he ate a mouthful of his ridiculously sugary confection.

After they got in his office he closed the door, "my dear, sweet Sam, I'm so sorry," he cried out hugging her, "I couldn't let the public see my true self, it would kill my reputation." he didn't know if it was just his bi-polar act sweeping him along with it or if all the drama was just turning him on, or what, but he suddenly felt a hot firey passion for her, to just lay her on the desk and.... No he told himself, you won't be tricked by your own feeble emotions, not again.

Somewhat hesitantly[out of fear of being repelled], she hugged him back, and nodded.

I sighed. "It's not that he's dangerous or anything. He's just... not a fun person to be around. He's... kind of insane, but not in a sadistic way. The reason he wears that mask... this vampire Executioner burned him with holy water years ago. No one knows what he did to her, but... there was obviously some reason for it. Ever since then he's ben even more... well, yeah." I let the thought trail off. "He normally doesn't show this much face... so to speak."

screw emotions I love her! he finally shouted in his head, "Sam, I love you," he said regaining his composure, "you make me feel like no girl has in a long, long, time." As he said this he allowed his mind to drift to intense scenes of passion, knowing that with her feeding off sex, she'd love it.

"But she'll be okay then, right? I mean, she might not even notice he's crazy. She's kind of, um. You know. Er... she doesn't seem all that observant." Teddy found it a little difficult to look into the cages. This wasn't what he was used to in a circus, except for the candy which was pretty much the same everywhere. He didn't know what to think of these... men? Beasts? There were many he just wasn't sure what they were.

If I could blush, I would've, even though the topic of sex never embarassed me. The thought of it between Valentine and a naive girl... It made me shudder.

Knowing only as much about Sam as she had said the night before, Teddy wasn't terribly worried about it. but Markus had heard everything he had and was still concerned. Teddy leaned in to kiss the corner of his mouth, then nuzzle his neck. "It really bothers you though, huh?"

Samantha was too lost in all of it, and could'nt form coherent words until everything was done.
She put on her clothes, still in a dreamy state, and then hugged him.
"I love you too."[[/kills self]]
Sam paused, and then gasped.
"Oh, no! What about those two? We probably shouldn't leave them unattended... Not only that, but like in the case of Kit, there's nobody watching, so people could just come and go."
