"No one...I just thought you might like to talk...but if not, that's fine." He got up and walked away from her, sitting under a tree. He'd stay there until the sun came up. Then he wouldn't have to worry about things anymore.

She watched him for a few minutes then walked over and kicked his side lightly with her hoof. "You're depressing me."

"Hardly. I am being purely selfish." Trying not to wonder why his being upset had upset her, or why she felt better now that he was. She wondered if maybe her magic was misfiring, but she had no clue how to check that.
