Shadow nichered happily as she plundged her muzzle in her oats, not taking a bite.....not yet. Pulling up her head, She looked at Amy, and with a micheous look in her eye, she butted Amy playfully. Then she put down her head and started to eat her oats.
Siam mewed all the time louder for food. Finally, Siam jumped on Amy and mewed loudly in her ear.
Shadow hear and saw Siam jump on Amy. Reaching over, Shadow pulled Siam (by the tail) back on to the half door.
Siam still mewed louder and louder to drown out the hunger in her belly.
"Ok." Wil dug into her eggs, making sure every scrap of food on her plate was gone, so she didn't waste anything. Will also heaped up the pancakes and then ate them too. "Did they tell you anything else, besides wot i told ye, dad??" Will asked as she washed her plate and then found a galss and poured herself some orange juice, and then sat back down. "You know, they always said i have a natural talent for playing the violin, fencing, and boxing, and then there the detective part of me. They always told me i was desedned from the lenderfary detective, Sherlock Holmes......" Will said as her eyes got a faraway look in them. "But then again, i never knew them, because they died when i was born."

Ella smiled and inclined her head in greeting to Pancake. "Pleasure to meet you..." She said with a mischevious smile. She then looked at Shadow and did the same, inclining her head. "Pleasure to meet you too. My name is Estrella Negro, but just call me Ella. I'm Majestad's sister." She said. She looked back at Majestad and Pancake, glancing between the two of them, then chortled and snorted and turned away to eat her hay giggling.
Majestad sighed. "Give it a rest, Ella." He said, then turned to Pancake and lowered his voice. "She's such a pain..." He said, rolling his eyes.
Ella lifted her head, her long black forelock covering her eyes and white star, and looked a Majestad with a teasing look in her eyes and a mouthful of hay. "Am I now?" She said, although it was a bit forced, due to the amount of hay she still had in her mouth.
Vivian looked over at her dad, who had just finished checking over Majestad and was leaving his stall, and hugged him. "Thanks. I'll call you sometime..." She said with a smile. "Alright, hun, have fun. Ms. Amy, it was a pleasure to meet you. You two have fun on the cattle drive." He said, tipping his cowboy hat, then left the barn. The sound of his truck pulling away could be heard not a minute later. Vivian then turned to Amy. "Sure, I'd love to help." She said, reaching down to pat Sadie's head.

Pancake giggled and tugged at Majestad's mane playfully. "C'mon Majestad, she's not that bad..." She joked nipping the tip of his ears.
"Nice to meet you to!" Amy called to Viv's dad as he left. "Ok, now let's get back to work. Do you mind feeding the rest of the horses? I'll get some food for the animals." Amy said picking Siam up and Ginger one in each arm and walked over to were their were plenty of feed bowls and water bowls. Taking a hose, Amy filled up an bowl for each animal and then poured feed into the bowl. Stroking Ginger, Siam, Spike and Sadie, Amy got up and left, letting the dogs and cat eat, before returning to Vivian and helped her.

Vivian double-checked Majestad's, Pancake's, and Estrella's stalls to make sure they all had food and water, then went on to the rest of the horses. She gave Shadow and Storm their food and filled their water buckets. She then moved on to give Midnight, Skye, Tech, and Star their food and water, then moved on to Ghost, giving him his. She then walked back to Ella's stall and opened the stall door.
Ella lifted her head from her hay and nickered to Vivian when she walked in to her stall. She turned to face her and nuzzled her shoudler.
Vivian clipped a leadrope onto Ella's midnight blue halter and led her out of the stall and into a set of crossties. "Well, girl, time to get to work!" She said with a smile. She ran and grabbed Ella's dressage tack and her leg wraps and returned to her crossties. She put on her white saddle pads and black saddle, then her white leg wraps, then her black and silver breastplate and crupper. She left her bridle off for a moment and looked over at Amy. "Hey, you wanna go ride for a while? In the arena, of course.." She said.
Majestad shook his head and smiled. "Well, you're not related to her now are you?" He said with a strained laugh.

((Sorry I haven't been posting, I have been losing interest in rping anything since school started for me....it's sad I know.....but if anyone wants to help me figure out what my character's could do since I don't want to lag behind.))

Amy finished feeding the other horses and then opened Pancake's stall door, sliding the mare's light blue halter on and clipping the lead rope tieing her to the crossties. "Sure." Amy said. She quickly got her brown english saddle, white saddle pad, brown leggings and her brown bridle. Amy storked Pancake wating for Viv. "I can't wait to see Ella's movements." Amy said smling.
Pancake whinnied and pawed the ground. "Maybe." She said with a laugh.

Vivian laughed as well. "You're going to love her. I won't be surprised if she wins next year's nationals against Majestad. They'll be competing against each other...that will be one heck of a show." She said with a smile. She unclipped the crossties and took off her halter, then slipped on her black and silver bridle, attaching the breastplate and crupper to the saddle as well. She then pulled the reins over Ella's head and walked alongside Pancake and Amy to the arena.
Majestad snorted, but smiled all the same. "You wish." he said after Pancake as she was led to the crossties. He then sighed and pulled his head back in and lay back down on the hay, quickly falling asleep.
Ella snorted and pranced excitedly as they headed outside. She whinnied musically to the horses she saw, swishing her tail around and tossing her head.
Vivian laughed at her mare. "Well, if anything, she's got more fire and spunk in her than any other horse I've seen. She has such wonderful movement, but she can be tough when she wants to, which also makes her excell at western work." She explained to Amy as they reached the arena. Vivian checked the stirrip length, then mounted up and gathered her reins.
Ella collected herself under saddle immediately and pawed at the ground gracefully. "So, what's your discipline?" She asked Pancake. She tossed her head around, then remained in her collected composure.

((It's ok Razor. Okay well you could say what happened the day before with the sogs and stuff then right 'the next day' in a new paragraph and start them coming to the stable.))
Amy laughed. "Me neither." Amy said as she walked next to Vivian. "You could defentaly see all the spunk in her for sure." Amy laughed as she watched Ella, as she checked her breastplate, making sure it was tied enough. She checked her english stirrip, made sure they were her usall length before swinging into the saddle. Gathering her reins she turned to Vivian. "So did you ask your dad if you can come on the cattle drive?" Amy asked, as she nudged Pancake into a steady but not slow walk.
Pancake whinnied to Majestad before being lead into the arena. Snorting, she tossed her head while being mounted but stood still and turned to answer Ella's question. "Mostly western riding. I love to race barrels and catch cattle, but I also love to do free style. I'm not bad at english riding but still learning." Pancake explained. "How about you, Ella?"
Alex walked into the stable leading Pepper in from the pasture, her purple blanket covered completely with mud. Her legs soggying with mud and her mane and tail tangled and dirty. Her muzzle and forelock had little mud. Alex was laughing at his mare. "What did you do to yourself girl?" Alex asked, grining as he led her into the bathing bay. Tieing her to the crossties he took off her dirty blanket. Looking at it he glared at Pepper. "And plus after I washed your blanket..." He said throwing it on the ground.

Vivian smiled. "Yeah, he said it would be fine. I'm excited, I can't wait." She said, barely applying pressure to Ella's sides to get her to walk.
Ella tossed her and snorted. "Dressage is my thing...Majestad's going to have to work hard if he's to beat me at the nationals next year...We're competing against each other." She said, obviously proud she had reached her brother's level. "But I'm also great at western in general: barrels, cattle-roping, free-style you name it." She said.
Majestad's ears flickered at the sound of a familiar whinny, but he did not wake up.

"So am I." Amy said, a huge smile overcoming her face. "I can't wait to start in the plains. It's so fun." Amy said.
Pancake grinned. "Well then good luck to both of you. Have you ever roped cattle before?" Pancake asked tossing her head, when Majestad didn't answer her whinny.

Ella laughed. "Have I! I beat my brother in the cattle roping section of the last western show by 1.5 seconds! Of course I have!" She said with a smile, stepping gracefully around the arena.
Vivian laughed again. "I know, I love cattle drives. Well, I better run Ella through her paces." She said gathering up reins, which Ella immediately responded by collecting herself again.

Pancake laughed with her. Moving her walk quicker to catch up with Ella she tried to collect herself, but messed up. Sighing she shook her head. "How can you do dressage?....It's so hard." Pancake said trying again.
Amy laughed. She soon hesitaed not sure what Pancake was trying to do. Amy gathered her reins and tried to follow Pancake's movments. "Viv how do you do a collected walk?" Amy asked.

Vivan smiled. "You have to make sure you have a very good connection with the horse's mouth and keep your hands up and close to you. Keep light pressure on your horse's side as well to keep them going, so they don't stop when you keep the reins tight. Collection is natural for horses, they use it in the wild, usually in a fight so they can react quicker. That's pretty much what dressage is: bring out a horse's natural movements to perform them on command and to bring harmony between the horse and rider. Here, watch." She said, then loosened her reins, allowing Ella to stretch out her neck. She did so, then gathered her reins again, applying slight pressure on her sides and Ella collected herself again.
Ella did as was instructed of her, then smiled at Pancake. "No, it's not, you just have to know how to. It's a natural thing, all horses are capable of it, but some breeds are bred to excel in dressage, such as mine is." She said.

Amy smiled. She watched Viv, and then lossened her reins. She gave slight preasure into the sides of Pancake, and imdetily the mare picked up the collect walk. She smiled even bigger. "Wow! This is...amazing!" Amy said.
Pancake imdeitly picked up the collected walk right next to Ella. A huge smile sweeped accross her face. "I never new I could do this!" She snorted tossing her head happily.
