[[ Well I can tell you this, if the next monster comes today, im down for the count. I cant fight again until its after 5 am here. And right now its 7:47 pm. How come whenever I do get hit, its by a siren or horse and I have to sit out for 12 hours. ]]

[[I don't know. That is sort of strange. You fight so much that you will probably get hit more often than the rest of us, unless someone has absolutely horrible luck. Are you in the eastern US? It's now 5:20pm here.]]

I'm back - sorry I was gone. I have a part time job, and that sort of took priority for a couple of hours (I'm actually back early - not very busy at all). I'll be gone again for three, three and a half hours tomorrow evening as well.
Okay, general house - er, thread-keeping:

Kitty and Nick have both been hit by that Dragon-horse. Each have approximately eight hours left of recovery time. (Kitty: if you're confused, check page fifteen, the attack you rolled a four (4). For those with offense bonus, a four is a hit on the player. For those with defense bonus, the four is a mutual miss. Nick had defense bonus, being Hufflepuff melee, so her four right before yours was a miss. Yours, on the other hand...)
Nick: I would like to hazard a guess as to why you always seem to get hit by a 12-hour monster. It's because the random dice roll I've been using to pick monsters mostly comes up as a 3 or 4 (Horse or Siren). So far, we've had 2 Trolls, 3 Chimeras, 5 Dragon-Horses, and 4 Sirens. So in terms of probability, there were nearly twice as many poisonous monsters to get hit by.

Lyra, seeing a troll approaching, grabs her bow, which she had readied just in case earlier. So much for a break. Lyra aims at the troll, and shoots. Her arrow hits the troll in its side, making it quite angry. Lyra ducks out of the way of its club, and picks up another arrow.

Lyra takes a slight break, then tries again. The arrow hits the troll directly in the throat. It staggers, then falls to the ground. Lyra jumps out of the way as it comes crashing to the floor.
