Eguchi quietly made his way to the edge of the field, sighing slightly in the breezy area. He adjusted the pre-supplied hakama and tightened his wrap a little. The feel was nastalgically comforting, but still felt like it was restricting his movements. He might have to requisition a bigger set of clothes later on. With a small grunt, he knelt forward to scoop up a little soil and spread it around in his hands, a ritual ingrained in him from his days as a mercenary. With that task done he stood back up and slowly walked farther into the field. The wind picked up again as it swept the bottom of his pants a little, causing them to eminate a soft ruffling sound as the wind played with them. His left hand rested gently against the hilt of his new sword, feeling its weight as he continued inward.
The sight of others caught his eye and he gradually made his way over to them. There appeared to have been some sort of battle earlier, but the the only things he could see were a few reminents. He eyed them for a little bit, staying off to the side as to not interfere with whatever they were doing.
((Sorry about that, having a little writer's block at them moment. sweatdrop ))

(( No prob, that's a good post. ))
Yuki was a little surprised that Dai wanted to try another kido when he hardly had the power to break out of a simple bakudo. And with those restraints he was now wearing she would be shocked if he could fire even the lowest level hado right now. She put her hands on her hips and glared at him, like a teacher telling the student it was a stupid question.
"You don't have the riatsu to power it right now."
She told him without ceremony. That was when another riatsu level entered the training grounds. It seemed cautious, and for a moment she was reminded of her days in squad two, when everyone's riatsu felt like that... when you could find it. She looked over her shoulder in annoyance, she didn't need people watching her when they couldn't hide their presence.
"If your trying to be ninja, try to hide your riatsu signature next time."

OoC://[Sorry, I had guests I had to entertain today. ^^;
Hmm, wow. Us trainees can be taught kido up to level 60, and learn up to level 40 on our own. [/whistles]]
Amie's breathing had returned to normal, and she wore an appreciative smile. She brushed off her uniform with a brisk gentle sweep, while contemplating the offer. First, she estimated her remaining reitsu. She relaxed her whole body, and tried to make a proper evaluation. I believe I have...half my reitsu left, more or less... Amie decided that was more than enough to learn another kido. A matter of fact, perhaps kido was where she needed to go from this point. Until she could properly use her new Zampacto, she would need to rely on other skills.
"Alright, Yukimaru-sama. Another Kido sounds like a great idea" It was definitely a treat to be able to learn from her very own captain.
Amie looked over at poor Daichi, who had clearly gotten the bad end of the battle. She felt a twinge of guilt. Maybe she played to hard for the game they where assigned? It was then her attention was swayed, by the newcomer. Amie was slightly embarrassed she had not noticed his presence until Yukimaru-sama had yelled at him. Ouch. I pitty the shinigami who gets on Yukimaru's bad side.
Amie gave the shinigami a once over. There was something about his hesitant nature that suggested he was a new member of this squad. Like us? She wouldn't have guessed his low seniority had not he acted so shy. She thought about asking his name, but fear of breaking the silence made her reluctant. Instead, she spent the moment pondering what Kido she should try to learn. The action had been something for Amie to take her mind off of the current situation, when she stumbled across something she truly wanted to learn, something Amie considered of up most importance. I remember reading about bakudo number 39...enkosen, I think. It was a defensive Kido, I recall. Amie remembered the shield kido, as she had always wanted to learn it. She saw a more experienced shinigami use it once, and it just seemed so useful.
"Yukimaru-sama." Amie started, with a bold and confident edge to her voice. Yes, she was breaking the silence. But this was important. "I wish to learn bakudo number thirty-nine, enkosen." Amie had a slight doubt that her mentor would refuse to teach her such a high level kido,on short notice. But she met her gaze with a determined, somewhat stubborn stare.

Eguchi was taken back a little bit by the callous remark, but did not physically shown any signs of his surprise. His head came forward as he bowed in apology, opening his mouth just slightly. "Forgive me." He solomnly responded with his hands now at his sides. His head returned to an upright position and continued to watch on in silence as his captain scolded her subordinate. The sun gleamed down on him with quiet comfort as he sighed a breath of contemplation. I will be fighting side-by-side with these people one day. He thought. I hope I will live up to their expectations. His reitsu fluxuated unconsciously as he contemplated, exuding a feeling of quiet appreciation for his peers.

Yuki looked back at Amie, she seemed to be so delighted at the idea of learning yet another kido. However the one she chose out made Yuki wonder if she had been paying attention to the squad specialties at the Acadamy or not. She tilted her head and raised an eyebrow, another expression of hers that said 'why would you want that?'. When she decided not to waist her time and teach that particular kido, she made a 'tch' sound again, this one wasn't laughter though but more her way of speaking down to someone.
"You don't need to learn that kido so long as you are in my squad. Just put some riatsu into your squad patch."
Yuki showed Amie the patch stitched in around the neck lining of her uniform, a simple number 13, before placing her palm over it and pushing a little riatsu into the patch. In response, the patch pushed out a shield that covered both Yuki and Amie in a dome shape.
"Our squad patch creates an indestructible shield, but you can only hold it for a little wile before it overheats. It's much better than Bakudo 39."
(( I guess you missed out on the squad patches. Every squad has one, and each one dose something different. If you PM me I'll send you the whole list, but it's too long to post here. Oh, and by "a little wile" Specifically that's 2 posts use max and you need 2 posts to cool down before using it again. ))

OoC:://[Oh. >W< My bad. I think I remember reading about that too. <3;;;]
At first, Amie thought Yukimaru didn't want to teach it to her because she thought it was to difficult. She felt slightly discouraged by that, until Yukimaru placed her hand on her squad patch. Oh she gasped. She stared over across the dome. After that, the embarrassment kicked in. I should have known that. She stared down at her feet for a moment, before looking back up at her captain.
"Thank you..."
She was only slightly aware of the new arrival now, as it seemed the atmosphere had finally calmed down. She took a moment to go over her options. Amie really hoped that kido invitation was still open. It couldn't hurt her to ask, she supposed. But then again, she wouldn't put anything by Yukimaru-sama.
"Would you be willing to teach me bakudo number fifty-eight?" She asked, trying again. Yes, it was an odd request. It would not help her offense, or her defense, or make her a better fighter. However, life wasn't all battles. It wasn't all about beating down your enemy. Amie felt like it was a useful kido. For some reason, she had an odd urge to learn it; like she would need it. There was large doubt her captain would teach her the kido, though.

[[I want to get this alive again]]
Daichi knew that he didn't have enough reiatsu to do such a high kido, so e decided that he would try something a bit different. Now he wanted to learn better control over his reiatsu. looking at his captain he asked, "Could you so happen show me to control my reiatsu better?"
He figured once he learned better control he could maybe master stronger kidous, or get stronger. He pondered if this might help him at all.

OoC://[Ah. >W< I've waited a week and a half for you, captain, but I really need to start training. I feel like I could get so much more if I just did some regular training by myself, so I'll take my leave.]
Amie suddenly got an idea. Her eyes flashed for a moment at the thought, and she jerked her head back up to her captain. "Never mind on that. Please help Daichi." That could actually work wonders... She pondered, while turning. Amie sprnted in the opposite direction, heading for her small "home."

Eguchi watched as one person left, sighing slighty before glancing over at the other. He narrowed in his view at his captain, but eventually gave up and turned to walk away. The interest was lost, but it might return later. With this thought in mind, he made his way over to what appear to be a small rock formation and began to climb it. Once at the highest peak he sat down, cross-legged, and folded his hands into his lap. He closed his eyes and took slow, deep breaths. The silence began to over take him. Find the sphere. Mold it. Bend it to your will. Become the sphere. he quietly began to chant a prayer under his breath with continuing the respirtory ritual that coicided with the chant. Becoming one with himself might ease his traveling mind.

Amie was sprinting, at a speed she hadn't in a while, to where Yukimaru-sama and the others were. It was an experienced runners posture, back straight, breath even, determined eyes. As soon as she was in earshot, she started shouting. "Yukimaru-sama! Yukimaru-sama!" She pumped her legs even harder. Her voice had an edge of concern, but of something that foreshadowed more then some kid being stuck in a well. She must have noticed it by now though, right? "The Serieti is under attack!" She said, right before making a baseball like slide in front of her. She caught her breath, then stood up. "Captain, theres an extremly odd Reitsu by Squads 4, 6, and 12. What are your orders?"
Amie knew her job would be something along the lines of perhaps crowd control, or something even lower. Or maybe she wouldn't get an order at all. That was ok. She would do what her Captain said, the problem at hand was seriously more important. All the while, she kept eye contact with a fierce, loyal gaze.

(( I'm going to pretend like my whole stupid air-head never happened. Sorry everyone! I'm so sorry! If this ever happens again, feel free to PM me and yell at me. ))
Yuki had been chilling in the training grounds. Watching some of the more dedicated students in their dayly trainings, and mentally correcting them, but not bothering with the effort to stand and actually do it without them first asking for help. When Amie ran into the training grounds huffing and puffing like she just ran the Olympic Marathon, she wondered what was so important. Thankfully she didn't even have to ask before getting a report.
"We're going to the 4th squad. The sick and injured are a priority."
She looked around the training grounds, seeing two other students she stood and went to shout at them. She shouldn't just go charging into one squad when others might need help.
"You two, head over to 6 and 12, get a report from the highest ranking. Come back to me in 4th squad. "
Yuki told them, giving no indication as to who was supposed to go to what squad (Eguchi and Daichi) . She didn't really care, so long as she got a report from both squads on how desperate the situation was. She might have to split the forces if 6 or 12 was having trouble. She imagined that Maxi could take care of himself, but 6 had a reasonably new captain. Hope for the best eh? She looked to Amie the look saying come with me as she left the training ground.
(( exit to 4th squad. Sorry again for not posting))

Amie was still for a moment, as she was trying to figure the "we"re" part. She didn't mean herself, did she? The look Yukimaru-sama gave her confirmed it. Amie blinked, then after a moment washed away the rest of her mixed emotions. It was just shocking in such as wonderful manner that her captain wanted her to go. Amie stared over at the menacing Reitsu, as she began to leave with her Captain. She shook her head, and her blank expression changed into that of a brave cheerfulness. With one last look at her squad members, she completly left the area.

[[Finally I was getting kind of bored]]
Daichi looked at his captain and knew he had to obey her orders. He looked at his captain and reported, "I'm going to squad 6 and see what they need, Captain." Thinking that he could not do much but he could try, to help in anyway possible, they are way above his level. He started to run towards the 6th squad as fast as he could already tired as it is.

And suddenly the sphere vanished, destroyed in a brilliant array of blues and whites. The silence shattered around Eguchi, thrusting him back into the real world. He jerked his head up and squinted at his captain before quickly slidding off the rock. With a bow he acknowledge her request," Yes, captain." And with that said and done, he was off! Racing as fast as his body could propel him towards his intended destination he looked over to see another of his squad running almost as quickly towards another location. War. And so early in my campaign here. Intolerable!

[Enter from Squad 12]
Eguchi quietly made his way back onto the field as he returned from aiding the 12th squad. His expression was quite blank, but his reitsu silently exuded his inner failures. I was weak. Unable to hell my brothers in need… A slight twinge occurred in his demeanor as he reached the rock he had previously perched himself upon. His hand came out and lightly grazed over its surface before balling into a fist. It came down hard on top of the stone, cracking where the impact had been. A sigh escaped his lips, but his expression never changed. So, weak...
