ShadyKitsune Alright, my friend said something the other day that made me totally LOATH her but somehow she is still my friend. >_>
She told me that she had be listening to the original soundtrack, finally, and she said that she absolutely HATED Michael Crawford. I know everyone has their favorite Phantom prefrences but how can you HATE Michael Crawford?? WHAT?! evil I watched the special features and he's great! heart

My friend sat there with this disgusted look on her face and I told her, "DON'T. DO NOT say ANYTHING." but she burst out saying "EWWWWW" anyways. >>

GRARH. D:< I love Micheal Crawford! I was on this poll-site-thingy and there was a poll for 'who's the best Phantom?' Colm Wilkinson wasn't on there, surprisingly, but anyway ...
UGH, there was this one person that was like omg the phantom is so hawt. And everyone was like 'D:< You're stupid.' and she's like 'omgno. Those Broadway ones are so effin stupid you stupid hos' and I'm like OMG. DDD:<<
Translation:
- Some idiotic moron said the only reason she liked the Phantom was because she was hot. She hated him in the book/Broadway and only liked him in the movie 'cause 'o Gerry. AND EVERYONE ELSE WAS LIKE RAWR.
- This has probably been said before but I need to rant. D'x

I understand how you feel, though. gonk Youko often dresses oddly, out of amusement, and her friend who is apparently self-elected fashion queen goes, "...what are you wearing?" And gives Youko these... these... terrible looks that want her to both smack the crap out of her for offending her, and go cry in the bathroom.
._. I hate when people're like that.

There was one commission I did some time ago with book!Erik without the mask. He looked rather cute to me. But I guess it was just the way I drew him. What would've had me shoving ye ol' stomping boot up the tight shaft she calls her buttocks would be her insulting the musical, for one, and the book, religiously clinging to Gerard Butler and proclaiming him Erik. That's like saying the Pope is the new Hitler. Which, of course, he's not.

And another complaint! I was watching America's Next Top Model (Yes .. >> ... I-I like that show!) and they were in PARIS, YES, PARIS, and went out for a night to get graded on ettitquet and so on with these professional guys. They then, after dinner, went to the Paris Opera House, HOMG, I screamed, but they were saying how stupid it was to see a ballet there. DDDD:< I was hoping Erik would come out and punjab them damn models! Or they'd mention Opera Ghost/Phantom at all ... <333

And another complaint! I was watching America's Next Top Model (Yes .. >> ... I-I like that show!) and they were in PARIS, YES, PARIS, and went out for a night to get graded on ettitquet and so on with these professional guys. They then, after dinner, went to the Paris Opera House, HOMG, I screamed, but they were saying how stupid it was to see a ballet there. DDDD:< I was hoping Erik would come out and punjab them damn models! Or they'd mention Opera Ghost/Phantom at all ... <333 Was it the Garnier Opera House exactly? They do call it the Paris Opera, but there is another house in Paris that they use more often for performances these days. But still. wth. What's stupid is selling your soul on Ebay. Which, sadly, is actually what a good few do. Talk about being bored. I look up the craziest things on Ebay just to see if they sell it. I guess the commercials never lie. "Whatever IT is, you can find it on Ebay!"

I think they just said 'Paris Opera House' but it looked sorta' like the one where Phantom was based. Who knows, that might've just been my eyes.

Hello Phans,
I have a sad story to tell...a few nights ago my cousins came over. The 2nd oldest (Amanda) hadn't finsihed watcing POTO (last time she was over she only got to see PONR and on, beacuse my friends and I were renacting it, Amanda was the boat) So I asked if she wanted to watch all of it, and she said yes! (^^)
So we were all watching it (my other 2 cousins weren't too happy, but oh well) and my mom came home. Now my mom is a little bit annyed with my "obession", yet again oh well. She came in was said: "Your watching THAT again?" I was a tad bit annoyed at her reaction, but there is little I can do.
We were all watching it (Somewhere near the end, maybe near the swordfight.) Anywho, she was rooting for Raoul to win (it gets worse). She kept on saying "Ya, go for the preety (I can not spell) boy" I was quite angry.
After that little eposide, she had the nerve to say she would "snog" the Phantom, but if he kept the mask one. I gasped, looked at her, glared and said "You're one of them!" (One of the "OMG he's so hawt but only if he keeps the mask on" people.)
Sadly, my story does not end here. For then rest of the movie she kept telling me that if it was me, I would chose Raoul! (I quote her "All the girls flirt with the bad guy, but go home with the good guy") I was so pissed! I argued that I would chose Erik! And she kept on saying that I find his deformity a turn off, and I said that it was only a sunburn!
She asked me "So you find a pyshopath that is emotionally and pyshically scared attractive?" and I said "Yes, it's Erik"
There was much more arguing, but the main point is I would chose Erik, and not just 2004 Erik. I loved Erik since I read the orginal book! Though I will say it again, Gerik is nice eye candy but Erik is not suppose to be good looking!
And to top it all off, at the end when Christine kissed him she said: "Yes, close your eyes so you don't have to look at him!" And I died a little inside.
So that was not a fun night, I could not believe she would say these thing, but part of me knew who she really was...one of them!
I'm still recovering from all of this, but some of me will always be angry with her!

My friend did the mask thing today, but I wasn't mad at her. I know she was just joking. We both have read the book, and she knows he's not supposed to be hot, but I started realizing it's really not worth getting angry over so I just joked back saying "Awww, don't say that!" and stuff, though I was a bit dissapointed. I can't get mad at her though, she's awesome, and I don't want to fight over that. XD We both love Erik and Raoul, but I was a tad dissapointed she said that about the mask thing. Oh well, I realized she was just joking and said she wouldn't care, she loves him anyway. ^^
