Jack Finley ___________ Do I know you?
More startled than tickled, Jack jumped and quickly turned around, a bit annoyed at having been surprised. It was a face he knew, but the name was lost. Pulling on a grim smile, he felt embarrassed and upset with himself that he could not remember her name. His ribs prickled uncomfortably where she had touched them.
“Ah ha… hello there…” he said uneasily. God forsake him for all he was worth! He had known her name yesterday!

{ - Kendal - }
"Well, hello there yourself, " Kendal returned, her tone playfully flavoured with a mock formality. "How you feeling, sugar? Has Marie gotten a chance to start those healing sessions she had mentioned before?" Seeing his slight embarrassment and the discomfort her actions seemed to have caused, Kendal gives him a soft laugh. "It's Kendal, by the way." she teases with a smile.

Jack Finley ___________ Do I know you?
Trying to ignore his memory lapse, Kendal light nature, similiar to Jack's own when he wasn't feeling stupid, eased him a bit.
"No, not yet. I am assured will tell me when she has the time. I'd hate to pull her away from anything after all she's done for me," Jack replied politely. Kendal seemed to read his discomfort, for she gave him her name again. Grateful, but embarrassed that she could tell, Jack's face lit up, slightly tinting pink as well.
"Kendal! If I forget that again, well, then my name isn't Jack Finley!" he laughed, finding his wry, tongue-in-cheek joke somewhat funny.

"You're such a goofball," she tells him with affection, "I've made some new friends tonight. You want to come over and meet them?" her tail swishes absently beanth her short skirts as she quirks her head at you. "I figure the more people you meet, the higher the chance will be that you'll remember something."

Strange Little Horror Leila Bellport ----------------The doctor is inGlad she is not an epileptic, Leila headed for the large staircase, eager to investigate. The music dimmed slightly, just enough to give Leila room to think. She went for the balcony and was impressed at the view, ignoring the strange people around her.
After minutes of soaking in the sights than had only changed in bizarre madness, Leila turned her attention to the display cases. Her interest definitely caught, she viewed the horrid displays with bright, fervent eyes. { - Marie - }While Leila peruses the display cases in the upstairs gallery, a door she had not noticed before opens only a few feet away from her and a pale, young woman emerges. As the door closes, it seamlessly melts into the ebony wall paneling, causing it to disappear once more. The young lady is dressed in soft shades of blue and white, which along with her stature, give the girl a delicate look. She moves through the display cases closest to her, one hand hovering over the glass, allowing her fingertips to trace along the surface as she passes them. It only takes a moment for her to notice she is not alone, and she pauses in her step, her head tilting faintly in Leila's direction. "I'm sorry, I did not see you there," the girl murmurs, her soft voice tinted with a slight french accent, "Are there any questions I may answer for you?"(( Yumi and Rev, I will get Franky's response up very soon, promise! ))

e l e c t r a x x x cybernetic illuminator Electra looks over Emily, scanning her doll-like features. “Yes, it is. I really like the dance floor. Do you?” she asked, looking around the bar. Yes indeed, the place was truly amazing. Electra would have given anything to stay here, rather than go back to the Circus. The Circus! That reminded her. Leaning close to Emily, Electra dropped her voice so that only the doll could hear her. “Have you found anybody yet that would interest the Circus?” she murmured to her, quiet enough to be below a whisper. Staying close, she looked over at Emily, her brain telling her that she was intoxicated. The robot realized that she was in no shape to be there. She could possibly give them away. Electra then created herself a new command for the night. This was to stay by Emily and be sure that she kept everything. And if not, Electra would shock her a tad, to stun her, then carry her back, saying that she fainted. Yes, she had to think of something now, before she became to drawn to this place.

Emily Kane-Living Doll Emily nodded, "The dance floor is great. Thats where I met Kendal." She explained, not even realizing that Electra had not met Kendal yet. Emily leaned closer to Electra to hear what she whispered. Once the words came out of her mouth Emily's whole body tightened up. We are recruiting.... Emily sighed. looking back at Electra she was about to speak, but had that feeling she had had with Kei. The circus gave Emily some strong emotions. Emily knew they were bad. "No, no one special here...." She said, though that was an obvious lie. The Muse was crawling with people the Circus would love to have.

e l e c t r a x x x cybernetic illuminator Electra sighs, looking around the bar. She could tell that it was a lie, but Electra had learned not to pester people. Tapping her finger on the table, she shifts her gaze back to the doll. “Then do you think we should leave?” she asked, looking out onto the dance floor. Yes, yes, it was definitely a lie. But the funny thing was, Electra did not want to expose them. She did not want to tell the Circus of these innocent people. The order Corin had given her was like pushing a computer to do something it wasn’t able to. Now that Electra had given thought to her own needs, she wanted to stay at the Muse. And she could tell that Emily wanted the same thing. Maybe they could just stay here….Maybe that would work. The Circus would have no idea of their exact location, and Emily and Electra could stay at the Muse, hidden, forever. Couldn’t they?

Jack Finley ___________ Do I know you?
Jack laughed lightly at Kendal. He was feeling more comfortable now, his awkwardness behind him. “I would love to meet them!” he exclaimed, and it was nothing short of the truth; exposure was a must if Jack ever hoped to learn anything about himself. Kendal’s tail caught his eye momentarily, though he dared not look for more than a second. It certainly was strange to wake up in a world where some girls had tails! However, who was Jack to say? Maybe he was the odd one…

Leila Bellport ----------------The doctor is in Startled by the seemingly sudden appearance of a pretty young woman, Leila stood up straight and smiled quickly to hide her shock. “Oh… I didn’t see you there either” Leila began. Taken a little off-guard by the woman’s next question, Leila gave some genuine thought to her answer. Deciding she really did want to know about some of the things on display, she replied, “Ah… well, yes. I’d just like to know about this…this…” all the while shaking her finger at the nearest glass case to her. Honestly, is was so fascinating, but what was it? Leila wanted to know about each and every other thing in the room, but decided it was best to leave the other woman alone.

Giving Jack a smile, Kendal slides up beside him and slyly laces her arm into his. "Shall we then?" she purrs to him playfully. Pausing momentarily to blow Urban a goodbye kiss, Jack's feline hostess touts him by the arm and begins to work her way back to Emily. "I haven't met the friend yet, but the Emily chick is pretty hot." she informs you along the way, "You know looking at it a different way, your situation is actually kind of ideal for meeting people. If they are rude, irritating, or just flat out fuuugly.." her eyes look up at you, impsih wickedness dancing in their depths, ".. then you just pretend you don't know them."
Giggling faintly now, Kendal scans the room for Emily. Spotting her right where she left her at the bar, the feline slithers through the tables and comes up upon them, guiding Jack beside her. "Hey Em, I see you found your friend." she mentions, flashing Electra a smile. Kendal shifts to present the man on her arm. "This is Jack. Marie kind of adopted him. Remember.." she wags a finger at the two young women with a mock-serious tone, "don't be feeding the strays." The fingers pauses upright, then twists to point to Jack as she raises the other hand to cover the side of her mouth, "unless they're cute" she half whispers all secretive-like to the ladies with a wink.

Emily Kane-Living Doll Emily was about to answer Electra, but was gladly interupted by Kendal and Jack. Emily smiled at Kendal and nodded at Jack, not knowing exactly what Kendal had in mind. "Yes! This is Electra! Electra this is Kendal." She said, thinking she knew that was the correct way to introduce people. If not, nobody would care. EMily looked at Jack wondered what was different about him. He looked normal. Though, even after being in The Muse for so little time, she knew that she was quite wrong. Nobody normal goes here.

Marie's vacant eyes do not follow the finger, but her head tilts faintly in the direction of the display. The narrow, glass case extends several feet towards the high ceiling, and within it a very ancient looking tapestry floats on a rustic, ebon bar. The dark shades of greys, silvers, and blacks seem to bleed together to form a vaguely shadowesk shape. The odd nature of the design leads the eye to focus towards the center, and if one stares at it long enough it is almost as if two small discolourations in the fabric form hollow eyes that are staring back.
A soft smile traces her pale lips. Compared to the other denzins wandering the club, the girl is starkly colourless. Her eyes are darkened, but she wears no other make-up. This coupled with her pristine white tresses and almost identically shaded skin gives her face a soft but dramatic look.
"This is a rather special piece here at the Muse. I have to keep constant vigilance over it," she explains, her tone just as soft and feminine as the rest of her persona, "Most people walk right passed it though. They do not get close enough to feel the energies contained within." Shifting her attention to Leila now, she queries, "Can you feel his presence?"

animeyumichan "uhm..." She looked extremely puzzled for a moment, for she was trying to find something that was shiny. She looked around, rather frustrated to note that everything around them was coated in a rather melancholy and completely non-shiny layer of dust and/or grime. She whined quietly, trying to find something without moving from her spot or jostling the orb. WILHELM"Yes, I'm afraid we are going to have to look elsewhere for something that would lure her out." I tell the young one, endeared by her quiet whine. So cute.. I think to myself with a smile. She'll do just fine. Standing from the knelt position beside her, I take a flourished step back and sweep my hands towards the camp lightly. "Come, let us go see if the doll maker has something we could use. She has all manner of trinkets in her wagon. We'll have to be quiet about it however, or Corin will notice us."
