"Nice grab," Donovan grinned reaching out to ruffle Aras' hair, "And you be good. Little girls and boys need sleep along with everyone else. You don't want to find your face in your plate just because you're too tired to keep your head up."

Thankfully he had never done that, but he had heard of people who had.

Celebor held tightly onto the struggling girl and laughed aloud at Daemon's comment.

"And this is just one of four," he chuckled. "I hate to think how Niyana - my mate - is getting along. She's got the nastiest of the bunch ... though she also has the sweetest of the bunch."

Aras paused in her struggle and looked up at Celebor, her eyes filled with hurt.

"I thought I was the sweet one!" she protested with a pout.

Celebor chuckled and kissed her forehead. "You are," he assured her, "but Ruque has a better temperament and you know it."

Lin laughed a bit, she couldn't help it. She was tempted to ask how that go but didn't. Instead she turned back to the little girl that was Aras.

"Why aren't you tired Aras?"

Lin tried to bit her tongue to stop giggling while Donovan gave Celebor a look of sympathy. He had already been there before, back when Lin was little but it wasn't that long ago. The young woman coughed and glanced at her long time friend her eyes sparkled with laughter. She just found this way too amusing.

"Well... it's too dark at the moment to climb up the mountain it would be dangerous," Lin told Aras softly.

All the while thinking how ironic this was that she was saying that.

"And you really should wait for the day, besides it takes a lot of energy to get up there. Trust me... I know, it's a lot of energy."

She actually never made it up at that size to be honest, and looking at the mountain as a teenager she understood why now.

"I don't know..." Donovan murmured thoughtfully, "She kind of reminds me of Lin."
"Hey!" Lin looked a bit insulted, "I'm not that bad..."

Donovan gave her a look that asked her if she was joking or not. Granted he had no problems out of a teenage Lin now that he thought about it. Well... besides the usual.

"You use to do that, I still remember being swindled into agreeing for a year trip."
"I didn't swindle, I made good points with Shiro's help besides you know you'd do the same," Lin crossed her arms over her chest.

Celebor chuckled. "Aye, there is that," he agreed. "And I'll be with her the whole time."

"Yay!" Aras cheered, giggling. She clapped her hands over her mouth as if afraid she was breaking her promise to go to bed quietly, but her teal eyes were sparkling as she looked around at everyone.

Celebor chuckled again. "Yes. Well. Anyways, good night everyone - and I'm sure we'll be seeing much more of you in the days to come."

"Good night!" Aras piped up perkily, sticking one hand up in the air and waving her fingers at them.

"Good night you two," Daemon replied back cheerfully before turning back to the others, "She's adorable. This is going to be a fun trip."

He chuckled at the thought, it was going to be an interesting wedding that is for certain.

"So Pen, any questions?"

It was solid, solid enough that Pen would be able to feel the cotton of Daemon's shirt, though he might not be familiar with the feel seeing as cotton was not one of the things they used to make clothes out of. Fortunately the seer wasn't ticklish but he chuckled as he 'felt' himself being poked. Yet there was a dreamy quality to Daemon, like one couldn't believe he was quite there. Probably because if one looked really hard they could see faint outlines of what was behind him.

"It is a complicated explaination, but to put it shortly, it was sealing a demon away gone a bit wrong. My wife," Daemon motioned to the sword, "Was a spiritualist, the sword full of her magic was hers, passed to me when she passed away."
