Logan chuckled unknowingly. “Yeah, me and Alice. I know she seems a bit feisty, but if you give her a chance-” He looked over at Syvra, grinning wide, but the expression slipped away when he saw the glint in her eyes and the forced smile. “Syvra?” he asked carefully. “What’s wrong?” She looked away from him, saying nothing. Logan placed a friendly hand on her shoulder. “Seriously, you haven’t been yourself lately.” She still was looking at him so he fumbled for something comforting to say. “If it’s the Cure that’s gotten you worked up, don’t worry, I promise I will get us all back to human. Normal, like you want. This will all be over soon.” Logan smiled encouragingly, hoping he could make Syvra feel better.

Alec watched as Astraelle left, shutting the door gently. He almost wished she would have slammed it. It was hard to tell what the calm ones were plotting. And though she never raised her voice to him, there was just something about Astraelle’s attitude that Alec didn’t find appealing. But that would have to be dealt with at a later time. For now there were a few things he had to take care of. Alec walked over to the mahogany desk and pressed a button that was fixed into the corner of the wood. There was a static voice as the line connected and then a crisp female voice. “Yes, Master Alec?” “Send someone up here to clean up this mess,” he said, eying the scattered papers and broken pieces in distaste. He needed to learn to take his temper out on people who deserved it, not his personal items. There was a pause on the other end. “What kind of mess, sir?” Alec chuckled. “Oh, how silly of me not to specify. Don’t worry dear, there is no blood involved.” He released the button to cut off the connection and strode over to the smaller table at his couch’s side. The battered black cell phone was lying in wait for him there. Alec picked it up, turning it around in the candlelight. “A tracking devise?” he mused, shoving it into his pocket. “Let them come if they wish. It will only make my job easier.” Alec chuckled to himself and glided over to the window, parting the curtains so that he could see the bustling city below. Even at its darkest hour its citizens wandered the streets. How oblivious the humans were to the danger they put themselves into. How ignorant. They were nothing but cattle letting themselves be herded wherever Alec wished. With a word he could have any number of them brought to slaughter. “Humans,” Alec spat. He’d just ignore the fact that he had ever been one.

What Jess said made her happy, angry and sad all at once. But mostly happy. He loves me... The thought comforted her more than she thought it would. Alice remembered how he acted back when they were alone in his room. She couldn't help but smile. "Those shorts seem to go a bit high on you..Uhm..if you don't' feel comfortable in them I can find something else for you." Alice looked down and waved it off. "It's alright. Thanks though Jess." She said and gave her a hug. Jess was stiff under her grasp for a second before returning the hug. "Hey jess can I go poke the prisoner for a bit? I'm REALLY bored.." Alice said playfully as she toyed with her dagger. Jess gave a disapproving look. "No.." She said. "I was only kidding!..Kinda." Alice said with a smile. Jess shook her head and smiled. "Hey when is Logan coming back you think?"

Alice thanked Jess then hugged her, she wasn't quite sure what to do but after a second she hugged her back. Jess looked at Alice with her head tilted slightly as she talked then Alice said, "Hey Jess, can I go poke the prisoner for a bit..I'm REALLY bored.." Jess gave her a disapproving look, however laughing in her head and said, "No." Alice rebutted with, "I was only kidding!..kinda.." Jess shook her head and smiled, this girl that she never met before was getting along suprisingly well with her.
"Hey when is Logan coming back you think?" Alice asked Jess. Jess looked down at the ground and then back up to Alice. "I'm not entirely sure, Alice. He's just on top of the building though. However, I know he's just sorting things out with Syvra..figuring out why she's been acting weird..he's the only one that doesn't know." Jess smiled and shook her head again, "You boyfriend isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed." Jess then laughed, it was her version of something Jasper would have said. She thought something so hard she hoped Alice could see it in her eyes, "Please help me get Jasper back...he's all I got right now besides you and Logan.."

“Jasper, If you don’t tell me where the Cure is I’m going to have to stop being so kind to you,” Ebony said with her haunting smile, taking a step back so she could meet his bold gaze. Jasper smiled back, but the smile had lost much of its rebellious touch. Blood climbed the cracks of his teeth and his eye looked like bruised fruit. His left hand was revoltingly disfigured, each finger bent back at different angles. His vision swam and he found that he no longer had the strength to move. If there was a reason to truly smile in this hellhole, Jasper hadn’t found it yet. “Aww honey, you know I like it when you’re rough,” he said, spitting blood at Ebony to punctuate. Ebony just shrugged and stretched her arms. His words were irritating, but she was the one pulling the strings here. That smile of his definitely had to go, however. Alec had requested it. She flicked out her arm, cracking the garroting wire next to Jasper’s head. To her immense pleasure her prisoner flinched out of the way. Ebony towered over his prone figure, staring down at the vampire with unconcealed contempt. She bent down to be level with his head. Jasper watched her wearily as she eyed his right arm. For a terrible moment he thought she was going to break the fingers on that hand, but he soon realized that she had other plans. Ebony’s deceivingly soft hand trailed up from his elbow to his shackled wrist. Abruptly, with blinding speed that proved she could handle her weapon well, Ebony had her garroting wire wrapped around his arm. Jasper knew what was going to happen even before Ebony started tightening the wire. This particular form of torture was often referred to as Mancuerda. It was a fan favorite during the Spanish Inquisition. Normally one section of the arm was done at a time, but Ebony was going all-out tonight. The garroting wire was looped around his arm in a spiral, strategically missing anything that might cause his body too much harm. She couldn’t risk his death. Jasper looked away and closed his eyes for good measure. For a blissful moment his mind escaped this place and he thought of Jess. He had a good idea of how her wrist was feeling. But was she alright? Had she escaped the rest of the Rouges? He hoped she was sleeping somewhere safe and comfortable with the Cure at her side. Ebony threw herself backwards, pulling the garroting wire with all her weight. If she had done her job right, and there was no doubt that she did, the wire would slice through the skin and muscle like butter, stopping at the bone. She could take off the arm if she really wanted to without exerting much effort, but she doubted he could survive the loss of his arm at this point. Once again, no risking death here; Ebony would do her job well. Jasper cried out and resisted the instinct to pull away from the source of pain. His vision blurred and peaceful darkness crept over him, taking him under. The pain was gone, he could sleep… Ebony shook Jasper, bringing him back. To his dismay the wire had yet to be removed. He must have blacked-out for hardly a few seconds. Jasper’s breath was labored and his arm was in indescribable pain. He almost wished the mad woman would just cut it off and get it over with. His head lolled to the side and he let his body slump against the restraints. Ebony slapped his cheek lightly. It was almost a pleasant gesture, but they each knew she was the only one enjoying herself here. “Now now Jasper,” she said, and her voice was filled with more glee than Jasper could even imagine feeling right now. “Don’t fall asleep on me. That’s rude.” A few seconds went by where Ebony seemed to be waiting for something. But nothing came. For once Jasper had no smartass comments. For once he couldn’t even meet her eyes. And he definitely wasn’t smiling.

Alice's hand tightened around her dagger. She wanted to help Jess. She wanted to go get Jasper...now. But she had been right before. It would be better to sleep first. Then again god knows what kind of shape he would be in at that point. Alice glanced around the room to make sure no one was looking at her. "Jess...If Logan doesn't have a plan, or doesn't share one by tomorrow morning..I say we go get Jasper. I know it's risky but..we can't justs it around any longer..God knows what they are doing to him." She whispered. Alice knew that Logan would chew her head off he knew she just suggested that. Yet she couldn't stand to see that look in Jess's eye. It reminded her of the feelings she felt when Logan left. She thought Logan was dead. And missed him so much it almost hurt, and that was the same feeling that was reflected in Jess's eyes.

Jess smiled at Alice's suggestion...she wanted go to now..but she needed rest and was in no shape to go now. Her wrist needed stitches, however she was a quick healer so it might disappear over night. Jess stepped closely to Alice, "Darling..I can't risk you getting hurt. Now Jasper being a vampire at the moment is probably his only shot. We heal faster than humans. He's probably being tortured by the freak who had me with the garroting wire.. she'll be the first person I kill." Jess stopped talking quickly and looked down at the ground. She looked up slowly and stared at Alice's eyes and she knew right away that Alice had seen every thought she had about getting Jasper back.

Alice sighed. She was so tired of being told to sit on the side lines because she was the cure. "Jess..let me help. Please." Alice whispered. "Plus getting hurt and dying are different. I'm a fast healer too." Alice held out her wrist where the cuts where from her earlier jump through the window. The wounds had healed over leaving small pink scars. Alice got closer and lowered her voice even further, "Jess...I think...if you where hurt...and you drank my blood...it would heal you." Jess's eyes widened. "I remember hearing something about that in the stories Logan and Luke used to tell me. I always thought the story about the Cure was always just that...a story. I was obviously wrong." She paused, then continued. "if we went to get Jasper and you got hurt I could give you some of my blood. And give some to Jasper too...I could be useful."

Iriai turned away from her sister Mitsukai who was leaning against a wall. While Mitsukai looks a healthy pink Iriai is pale and sickly looking from not drinking blood for the last 3 days.
"I've joined the cursed, I will be able to find the cure now. I promise I will find it. I mean it you'll be human and happy soon."
Mitsukai turned her head away and looked down. Sighing Iriai left the room.
'I'm sorry big sis, I mean I know you want to save me but you don't need to kill yourself for me. I don't want to live if you have to die for me.'
Reaching an old warhouse Iriai knockson the door hoping someone will let her in. Seeing as noone answers she goes in and finds some papers on a nearby table with some info.
'I have no idea where these people are. I just got to help them though.'
"Hello is anyone here."
Turning around Iriai yelled out,
"I'm Iriai Yume, the new recruit. Logan told me to come here."

Alice got closer to Jess and lowered her voice even further, "Jess...I think...if you where hurt...and you drank my blood...it will hear you." Jess's eyes widened, not sure what to think. "What is she thinking?!" Alice continued on, "I remember hearing something about that in the stories Logan and Luke used to tell me. I always thought the story about the Cure was always just that... a story. I was obviously wrong...If we went to get Jasper and you got hurt, I could give you some of my blood. And give some to Jasper too...I could be useful."
Jess's face contorted into something of confusion and deep thought, "That would probably work..I've heard those stories too...but I can't attempt it without asking Logan about it first..he would probably kill me if I got his beloved in danger.. I know he won't go for it! What am I thinking?!" Jess looked at Alice intently, "Are you insane? Do you honestly think that Logan will allow for that to happen..and he will kill me if I even thought about taking you there without him...Alice it's far too dangerous..even just for me and you to go. Alec knows my weak points better than I do..." Jess cut off short..she looked at Alice carefully, Jess knew very well that Alice was completely capable of taking care of the situation..afterall she was pretty much on her own for 2 years with the Rogues after her the entire time..
"Alice..I'll tell you what.. I'll talk to Logan seriously about it and not let him cut me off while I'm talking about it...when he gest back from talking with Syvra and everyone's asleep..alright?"

Alice considered this for a moment. Biting her bottom lip with deep thought. There was always the chance that Logan freaked and said no. I guess if he does we can work from there... She thought. "Alright. " She agreed. "But make sure he listens. I know Logan and I know how he gets..." Alice looked down at her wrist, her birthmark had been tingling this whole time, btu must have gotten used to it. "Hey Jess...my mark keeps tingling. Do you think it means something?"

Jess looked at Alice very seriously, "Why hadn't you told me earlier, Alice? That's extremely important for me to know..Logan too." Jess took a deep breath and rubbed her temples, trying to fight a headache. "Alice..it either means Jaspers in trouble.. Perhaps I should call those two inside.. It's important we all rest now." Jess said turning from Alice for a moment and thrusted the blanket at Alice again, "Take it.."

Iriai headed towards a staircase to see who else was there.
"Yo is there anyone else here. I swear I come here, drop my plans on stealing 3.2 millon from that company that ummm......what was it called again. Ahh dosen't matter I've stolen from almost all of them after all."
Heading over to a door Iriai knocked on the door.
"Hey is anyone in there I'm the newest member of the cursed?"

Felicia's eyes fluttered open part way, but there was only darkness. She let them close again, mentally closing out the pain. She must've passed out again. Slowly she opened her grey eyes and stared into the darkness. Wait a minute.. She sat straight up and ignored the burning pain tearing through her body, her greys eyes fully open and alert. This place didn't smell or look familiar in any way, shape, or form. Her eyes darted about the room she was in and she realized with much surprise that she wasn't at James' house, Max's house, or laying on the street. Or dead.
Felicia slowly got up, her head snapping to the door. 'Hey is anyone in there I'm the newest member of the cursed?' Felicia blinked, dumbfounded. The cursed? What the hell was going on? She silently moved to the door and threw it open, staring at Iriai with blank shock on her face. Felicia had bandages all down her arms and under her shirt, even one around her head. One of her pale bandaged hands shot out and grabbed Iriai by the front of her clothing, hurridly lifting her up and pinning her up against the wall. "Who are you? What is this place?" She snarled, but the simple action of lifting Iriai up was draining the energy she didn't have. Felicia felt like she was sinking and realized that she was now on the ground, staring dizzily up at the ceiling.
