Deli Amara swept into the kitchens and immediately began cooking. It was second nature for her.
She was still a tiny bit upset about the loss of her old mistress, who had died and left her to no one, but being hired at Hogwart's had helped make up for it.
"Greetings, fellow House Elves!" she called cheerfully. Seeing the annoucement about the House Elf courses being given, she plans in her head how she will manage her chores and classes.

Me thinks that I might have to take a course of staying invisible. Those students are trickier to hide from then I thought.

EamaneLinwe We understand KT. Can we get you anything? Well, now that you mention it, *flicks wand and a canary yellow arm-chair and pouf slide forward from the dust and shadows. Another flick and the dust and dirt from lack of use vanishes. The sits in the arm-chair, cross-legged and smiles* I would like a cup of jasmine tea... if you have any... biggrin

"Here you are, Mistress Prewett!" squeaked Deli Amara as she held out a cup of tea on a small tea dish.

*Mafalda sips her tea and conjurs up a copy of the Iliad to read. While reading she asks the kitchens at large* so how are all the elfies doing this term, any problems or questions? I am your servant just as much you are considered mine...
