*Time opened up and deposited MK and Laulella on the sands of Terra just outside the Gate to Area-21*
And now we are back. What you do from here is your own choosing. I will be heading inside Terra base. If you wish to return to Gaia, the gate is open.

She stepped out, narrowing her bespectacled eyes in the wind, and stalked over carefully to the portal, examining its technology with interest. She suddenly screamed as she toppled forward; straight into the portal to Gaia.

Her labcoat whipping around her, Scarlette headed for the portal, and, purposely this time, stepped through it.

*After having hidden himself away in his lab on Terra base for so long, MK finally emerged from the structure which was mostly submerged in sand. The double dose of daylight struck and blinded him for a good few minutes when he exited, and he sat down on a rock near the entrance until his vision had adjusted. He had forgotten about Terra's twin suns, and a fact even so little as that was a reminder that it was time to return to the population at large. Holding in his hands a brand new device, he got back up and briskly walked over to the warp portal. Opening a panel in the power conduit, MK slid the device inside, and re-routed the wiring through it. Satisfied with his work, he closed the panel back up, and approached the control mechanism. It had almost seemed that a cloud of evil passed over the desert as he began to punch away at the controller, wildly inputting various coordinates and functions. At first, nothing had happened, but then- The portal screamed to life. A red wave of energy burst out from the portal, and it seemed that a strong wind was wailing out from within*
I HAVE DONE IT! The summoning portal is COMPLETED!

From within the portal, a loud shrieking could be heard, followed by the sudden expulsion of what appeared to be a person. She crashed headlong into the ground with such force that the sand around her almost seemed to explode, shooting piles of the stuff this way and that. As the dust cloud surrounding her crash site cleared, the girl groaned in pain and confusion, then immediately started coughing from the intake of sandy dust cloud air. She shot upright, hand clutching her chest as she hacked and spluttered.
The girl clearly didn't belong there, dressed in a pair of green PJ bottoms and a gray hooded sweater. Whether she'd had the bedhead before nosediving into a sand dune was anybody's guess. However, the last thing on her mind was how her hair looked. The whole experience felt like someone had sucked her up into a giant vacuum cleaner and then dropped her into an odour-free litter box. She was not a happy camper as lifted her head, shielding her eyes and squinting.
"Uuugghhh...where the hell am I?" She croaked to herself, blearily attempting to see past all of the sudden blinding sunlight.

 MK *Nearly jumping out of his skin in surprise, MK caught glimpse of the figure that emerged and he rushed over to it with an insatiable curiosity. Much to his surprise, it seemed human. And furthermore, it appeared to be a girl*H-hello there! Are you alright?

She turned her head quickly, barely making out more than a silhouette as her eyes continued adjusting to the brightness of the desert.
"Alright?!" She said, hoarsely, "What do you think! Where am I? Ugh! It's like boiling out here!"

MK I think a great many things, though there is much you will have to tell me. These are the deserts of Terra. And it seems... it seems that I have summoned you here. Though... it was not exactly my intent. Who might you be, and where might you be from?
