 Evangeline stumbled into the gate room, and realised it was a place she had yet to see. She clutched a hand to her head for a moment, and then shook it, heading over to the portal, and closely scrutinised it.

Suddenly, a redhead in a labcoat and a rather short skirt fell through, covered in sand. She looked up and gave an embarrassed giggle, replacing her glasses.
