Tempest blinked, confused. "You lost me at 'Nobody'," she informed. "Listen, I'll get a more detailed explanation later." She opened the book again, this time to the page she had planned on opening it to earlier before approaching the older brunette. "About a year ago, creatures with this emblem appeared with some weird storm and attacked. After the storm passed, we never saw 'em again.

"You seem to know what's going on. Mind telling me what this is?"

Depicted on the page was a very familiar symbol - like that of a heart and three thorns where the tip on the bottom would be, outlined in crimson with a red thorned 'X' across the middle. To Sora and Roxas, that would be a dead giveaway.

"As for the book itself, that's...err...well..." the girl started, only to trail off as Dima carried on the explanation.

"That, Sir - Sora, wasn't it? You seem to remind me of Shihab for some reason... ("HEY!") Over one thousand years ago, the daughter of a vizier, Scheherazade, married the king of a great empire, Sharyar, who for three years married a single virgin woman, only to have them executed the following morning. To keep herself alive, Scheherazade wove tales of old, and started the next one - and only started the next one - before the sun rose. This went on for a thousand and one nights.

"The book you see before you are those tales spun and recorded and woven with ancient magic of Scheherazade's creation. It is the Alf Layla wa-Layla - or the One Thousand and One Nights in the common tongue. It has been passed down through Scheherazade's bloodline for centuries, although five centuries ago, the secret to the book's true nature was lost...until the Lady Stormbringer inherited it."

"Inside that book is another world entirely, where magic and spirits roam freely and your next adventure could be only a mere three inches in front of your face, and all of which are recorded by the book," added Shihab. "Depending on the story, if you want the more recent chapters, you say its name - you'll only get the original stories at first read. I'm Shihab, the Spirit of Wind and the fastest of spirits in the Nights. Stuck-up and quiet there is Dima, the Spirit of Water."

"With the book's awakening, many of the spirits that had been trapped in there for ages without the proper outlet grew malevolent. Stronger spirits waited for their next prospective master to come, which they would then test. If they were defeated, I would be allowed to sign a summoning contract in times of need for when I was facing a rather powerful malevolent spirit," Tempest continued. She turned back to Dima at this point. "And would you quit calling me 'Lady Stormbringer'!? If it's not Tempest, then I'm Siren, alright?"

"Again, that would be informal. Besides, neither of those are your real name. If I am to use your name, it would be your real one. Otherwise, I am bound by honor to call you by your rightful title," Dima answered.

"My real name belongs to a shadow of a memory brought back for security and to keep our work secret from civilians and my parents," Tempest answered.

"But it's such a pretty name!" whined Shihab. "I mean, sure, the name 'Siren' is cool and all, but..."

"Shihab..."

"Yes?"

"Open mouth. Insert foot. You're not helping."

Shihab pouted. "I hate it when you're all serious like this. It's just not you. I liked it when it was just us racing to the next challenge."

"Shihab, there is a time for play, and then there's the time for work. This is the latter."

The wind spirit simply folded his arms and looked off to the side, acting as if he was a young child that was not allowed to have a cookie from the cookie jar.

Mac's voice caused the summoner and her summons to turn to Mac, only for Shihab to notice the Shadow and yell out in surprise.

"Something like that!" he shouted. Tempest was the first to react, withdrawing something from her belt. At first glance, it appeared to be a dagger made of ice, but then she swung it. The blade suddenly extended forward, held to the handle by a thick strand of water, before it snapped at the floor right in front of the Shadow. A warning.

"Some of the creatures that came last year looked a lot like that," she informed. "Some of 'em were larger and more human...but still looked a lot like that thing."

"And if I recall correctly, where there's one, there's more," added Dima, an orb of water beginning to swirl around her hand.

Zeximkanec flashed back to Noirimex, "I'm heading for the Castle. Anyone who wants to come and follow, they're welcome to" he said, The he was gone into a Corridor of Darkness that disappeared.

Both Tempest, Shihab, and Dima all blinked, but it was Tempest who reacted first. The not-much older teen seemed to be only barley conscious. Cautiously, the Storykeeper placed a hand on Mac's shoulder, shaking him slightly.

"Mac?" she whispered. "You okay?"

"Hydrokinesis," Dima whispered. "Had to have been. No other way to put it."

Tempest opened her mouth to speak, only to be cut off by Shihab this time.

"Yeah, about that..." the wind spirit started. "Dunno if you knew about it before, dude, but sure looked like some talent with that water manipulation you did. Decimated the thing."

"And...that's a Heartless?" Tempest asked. "Okay, well, I'd better make note of that..."

Still, seeing that much hydrokinetic power from someone who had been almost, if not fully, unconscious... Tempest was amazed. Stormbringer she was, that was powerful.

"You sure you're alright?" she asked.

She sure felt weird, being the youngest there, but still...

Axel hears all the commotion and walks from the door where he was listening to a now open portal. He and the portal fades away.

Walking down a beach on Destiny Island he approaches the dock were the boats sat. Holding the Way To Dawn in one hand and a note in a bottle in the other. "Man I sure wish i knew where every one is these days." Riku walks to the dock and sits staring out towards the water.

Actually, aside from her clothes she looks like she could be Xikkbi's twin=- Oh! Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt anyway. I... I heard some noises from here....
