I HATE YOU WITH A PASSION
Khuul was attempting to play with fire, a fire with a bad temper and capable of unleashing a hell Nature herself could never bring alone. Khuul was either very brave and a warrior of such calibur, or he was foolish and beyond arrogant for it was suicide to fight Inferno rushing in head first. Kaien however had interfered and Khuul would now have to deal with Kaien. Kaien and Halibel and Inferno all three in the same place meant something was important in the area. Something that they weren't going to let go without a fight, what was it that was so valuable?

Inferno's cero blasted forward just missing Light, the cero disappeared in the distance after a loud boom as the sky was bright orange in that area. That cero was meant to blown Light out of existence and if not for Light's quick work and skill it may have succeeded. Inferno's shield more than cracked, pieces shattered off of it, and a very large dent was left in Inferno's shield as it began to fall apart. As Light used Inferno's shield to push himself up, Inferno looked up to see Light preparing to attack him. The black substance covered pieces of the shield as it helplessly disconnected from Inferno's arm.

As Light's sword came down to cleave Inferno in two, Inferno would burst into flames launching himself up under Light's arms that held Fuuinshin. Light's attack would be not only stopped but he was now directly face to face with Inferno. Their noses only an inch away from each other. Inferno's arms would wrapped around Light's body, as Inferno's shoulders formed some kind of guards out of lava under his Vaste Lorde clothes to not only protect him from some of Light's swinging force of his weapon but also keep Light's hands in place while holding his weapon after they connected with his shoulders. Inferno would violently head butt Light before both him and Light would rapidly begin to spin, creating a fire tornado due to Inferno being in flames and using his fire rocket technique to get the upper hand.

If Inferno's arms were wrapped around Inferno's body, Light would know if not already feel their might as they were adding pressure and threaten to squeeze him to hold him from escaping. Inferno was taking Light for a dive bomb. While using fire rocket, Inferno was moving at a rapid speed of that of a rocket while holding on to Light before Inferno would throw Light with all the force he could gain sending Light to collide with the ground. If Successful, Light's entire body would be thrown deep under ground with the worst headache Light has ever experienced. Inferno depending on if this worked or not landed near Light's now newly formed grave.

"Rest in pieces..."

((Jilly, that may be confusing, but I imagine to get the most out of that swing you would have to use both of your arms if I read correctly...sorry its like 6 am right now and I am dead tired. But I basically rocketed up beneath your arms stopping the full swing. While attempting to countering you with a deadly dive bomb grapple...))

[Hmm~]

Although Light was attempting to stand on Inferno's shoulders and swing Fuuinshin down upon him, the sudden movement would easily throw Light's balance off which would in turn reduce how much power Light's attack would produce. Quickly, Light pushed back and kept swinging down with Fuuinshin. Instead a cleaving strike, Fuuinshin would most likely dislocate and crack the bones of ones shoulder as well as do some muscle damage, granted Inferno didn't have any of those things but the power to do so would still be present. And trying to burst upwards wouldn't help either. At the least there would be a giant scrape mark over Inferno's left body if it hit. And chances were that it would. Regardless, the black matter over Inferno's body seemed to hinder Inferno's flames over his shoulder as the small cloud of blackbodies grew over the rest of Inferno's upper body.

Blackbodies were matter that could absorb just about all light and heat without relinquishing any of it. Although there was one exception to that fact. Essentially, Inferno's flames were burning but would not do him much good right now. Light's shadowmancy had evolved into this; a tangible darkness that would keep Light safe from the heat this time.

The ground would rumble and crack from the impact of Light's weapon being thrown down hard towards the earth's surface. The half-angel would growl quietly as he fixed his gaze on Inferno. A small flash of light appeared beneath the half-angel before quickly disappearing. Light's mind was working on a whole new level now as he kept himself ready for Inferno.

Inferno would have only a tiny scrape, his body would come to no surprise as being incredibly durable. He was known for being highly defensive and indeed he was. But Light had been separated from his weapon. Inferno's flame weren't any use to him at the moment, however it didn't seem to bother Inferno. Why was that? Inferno pushed back and locked into a stare with Light as the light beam would just finish and disappeared allowing both Light and Inferno and everyone else to see what was going on. Inferno stood there with his arms crossed now. Suddenly Inferno disappeared.

"HALIBEL!", he yelled reappearing in front of Light's weapon on the ground with his legs in a full spin. The instant Inferno yelled that, his foot collected with Light's weapon sending the weapon with as much force as possible straight to Halibel. Without Light's weapon, Light would be in some trouble. Inferno knew Light was no cripple without his weapon, however Light needed his weapon for numerous techniques. The weapon was going so fast, flames formed around it while piecing though the air like nothing. Inferno had put alot of power behind that kick of his, and he would also keep an eye on Light in case he would attempt to catch the weapon.

Even though Light was still holding on to his weapon, the way Inferno would attempt to kick it away would probably have worked if the half-angel wasn't already prepared for it. Inferno's foot would swing right through Fuuinshin, revealing that the image before Inferno was a simple illusion. The flash of light was used to project Light's image as the real deal stepped back in preparation of his next strike.

Soon after Inferno had realized there was an illusion before him, the real Light would re-appear in sight again while dashing forward once more. Fuuinshin was gripped firmly in both of his hands again as he held it at his right side. To Light, everything was happening in slow motion as he started to swing once more. small streams of light formed and weaved around the tip of Light's weapon. For now it was harmless but if Inferno didn't prevent Fuuinshin from hitting, he would have the thick heavy weapon smash into the side of his left kneecap to not only hit for a weaker point on his body but to take away his balance.

Despite what Light was doing, the blackbodies over Inferno's body continued to spread over his mid-torso now. Even if it absorbed heat and light it couldn't do any real harm. Light was trying to force Inferno to fight him with his physical strength instead of relying on fire or lava.

Inferno quickly realized Light had tricked him. It was no surprised but Inferno enjoyed this fight, however it was time to get what he and Halibel came for. Inferno flash stepped away from his current location right before Light's weapon could have slammed into him. Inferno reappeared with his arms crossed, away from light. Stark wasn't going to be too happy with Inferno, Inferno had some injuries and while being covered in blackbodies. Inferno quickly realized something else, he and Light no matter the distance, no matter the power or anything. No matter what, they appeared to be once again equal. Inferno knew Light had so much more to offer and he as well, but this wasn't the final battle and everyone knew that.

Inferno looked at Light, "Very impressive, hard to believe the difference between us still hasn't changed. But it is time to take what we came here for...", said Inferno. Where would Riverrun be without it's defenders like Light and Rorek? One would have to ask themselves this. Inferno was expecting Halibel to act according to Stark's plan. Inferno would then turn around, but would wait and make sure Halibel succeed before leaving the area.

Khuul grinned in his invisible state. Well invisible to Kaien at least, everyone else could see him plain as day. The bolts that The Lorde had slowed down exploded so it seemed, not causing damage to anything. This explosion was a teleportation enchantment placed on them if they were to not hit their target or lose their kinetic energy to hit. His cylinders glowed as the bolts reappeared in orderly fashion. Though that was also not see-able to the Lorde in question.

The lycanfairy dove from a most unexpected angle slamming the side of the trident against the Lorde before clamping his jaws around his neck. Even if their skin was unbreakable there was always a chance to break a neck. His wolven instincts had fully taken over taking in the anger of the fairies.

"...Hmf. You've impressed me as well.....Just what is it that you've come for anyway..?"

The half-angel had to admit as well that even now the two of them could never get a solid advantage over the other. That's how it always was and probably how it always would be. Even in the midst of their fighting had he disregarded that the Vaste Lorde had come for a specific purpose. Everyone just happened to be nearby so it was natural that a fight would happen. Honestly, Light wasn't sure just what Stark had wanted from Riverrun. Light only knew that something important was lying dormant beneath the city.

Light's eyes had went to their original piercing blue color as he slung Fuuinshin over his shoulder. Now that he wasn't purely focused on Inferno he glanced up to Halibel who was alone...had Takehitsu been defeated? Somehow Light doubted that. But he had no way of knowing since he couldn't track Takehitsu with spiritual or heat traces. The one he had briefly encountered earlier had arrived as well and was fighting with another Vaste Lorde that had appeared. Light wouldn't mind settling things with him either but now was not the time. Also he could feel the distant presences of an old comrade as well as old enemies.

Rorek was back and Ulquiorra had come with David as well. What was so important that the majority of Stark's little army had come to Riverrun?

Halibel was not to far away but a few feet above the ground and her sword was already back into it's sheathe and she looked over at Light and Inferno the item in her hand was glowing an extremely bright golden color, possibly even brighter than the sun itself right in her hand. It was about the size of a coconut and it was unable to be seen thanks to the brightness of the object. "Inferno, Kaien; The First Paradin is secure. It's time to go." With that a gate summoned around Halibel and it drew her in and closed off. Halibel was gone and it seemed the first part of the mission was successful and now they were only two pieces of away from achieving their goal. The goal to extend Hueco Mundo all across the Universe and dimensions!

Kaien smiled at Khuuls attempts to go undetected around him but it didn't matter he got to avoid the fight. The wolf seemingly smashed into the trident and bit into his neck and when the wolf was biting down he would realize Kaien wasn't showing any signs of struggle... Or life. It's because it wasn't the real him just a clone to place in the way for Khuul to have fun with he switched himself out with the clone right before Khuul came in for the attack. Khuul thought Kaien wouldn't be able to notice him but he was dead wrong. Kaien was about 15 feet away with a smile on his face. "Sorry dude, I have to go, The boss lady says it's time for us to go. Later maybe next time haha" He smiled before having a gate summoned behind him, taking him in and as well causing him to vanish from Riverrun and their dimension.

Inferno looked at Halibel and back at Light "This isn't over...", he said looking over his shoulder before following the other Vaste Lordes.

"..........."

Light merely watched as the Vaste Lorde made quick to leave. His shades made whatever they had come for easier to gaze upon as he sighed. Seems he would not get an answer that easily. Ah well, it didn't much matter since in the end it probably didn't concern him. But he wouldn't just leave Riverrun to the mercy of demons without putting in a fight. There was also some information that he needed. Light was bound to encounter the Vaste Lorde again.

"Tch..."
Now having some time to relax, Light took in a deep breath and sat at the edge of the crater that had once held the pool of lava Inferno had conjured. The hole was deep and expanded over where the arena used to be. He remembered Takehitsu making a device earlier but it was gone now. Did he take it? Probably, Light thought. There was only Khuul and himself now. His gaze would shift over to Khuul while his blue eyes peeked over the rim of his shades. Light was tired but he could still fight...he would probably head over to where Rorek was after taking a little break.

"Haste makes waste...as they say..."
He spoke to no one imparticular, yet he knew countless voices would hear him. The voices of his own conscious and thoughts that were now flooding in and replacing his intent and focused mindset. In a sense his "battle mode" was to lock anyone involved in his fight like a snake hunting down its prey. There was nothing else aside from what was in front of him. Now that he was resting a little, Light was more aware of the others around him. For a moment he could feel the normal citizens of Riverrun as he could any other noticeable fighter. But the feeling quickly faded as their presence was not so great as to be noticed constantly. Now he could just feel the struggling souls of Rorek and the other Vaste Lorde along with someone else that he did not know. Indeed, he would not rush over there but that was his next destination. Perhaps he would ask for Khuul to accompany him.

"I will have my revenge!" He growled after Kaien once he shaken the clone until the neck broke, the Vaste shell shattered.

"We will meet again! And this time I will break the right one." His wolven smile shone in the night the fangs dripping in venom and saliva. One sentence echoed through the gate before closing. "I will kill you."

Once it closed Khuul visibly calmed down. Changing slowly back to the fairy Light had seen before. He sheaved his swords once the change had finished. His wings glittering in the setting sunlight.

Khuul Ayama looked across the "Arena" as there was not much left of it at the odd angel. Who'd changed somewhat. "And yet time is still of the essence." He flickered his wings releasing a small cloud of glittering dust as he flew into the air towards Light.

".....Heh."

The half-angel smirked and chuckled. His laughter parting his lips more to a smile as the crater below him echoed with his voice. His coat had been split in two from the cero Inferno had fired at him earlier, his clothes were torn, scorched, scuffed, and stained with his blood that had dried over the side of his face. If his shades were not new, there would also have been a scar on them from the last time Inferno and him fought. It was the only mark of battle his body would have ever shown over the countless years he had been alive. Time meant little to Light for he had more than enough of it. His physical body was ageless due to his angelic traits. Yet time and time again he threw himself into harms way. Head first he would dive into the maw of hell and fight his way back out again. It made no difference if he pushed on now or later. He was destined to keep fighting and would probably die in battle. Perhaps he secretly kept fighting for a chance to encounter someone who could end him. Although he knew his time would not come yet. He still had much to do. Even if he retreated and left the Vaste Lorde to their own little agenda, Light would no doubt encounter them again.

"There's still trash to clean up..."

He spoke to Khuul, now that he was closer. Now instead of an observing gaze, Light was still smirking and looking to Khuul as he would any other comrade of his. Light would then stand and brush the dust off of his pants, as if it made a difference, before pushing his shades up once more. "And they're stronger than the ones we just faced..."

He'd pause to give Khuul a chance to say anything if he wanted.

Khuul landed beside him. Buffeting the angel with silver dust. "If we are to go into battle again I must ask. Are you hurt or injured in anyway? I can heal everything with little or no effort." This also included restoring ones energy and erasing fatigue.

The fairylycan waved one of his slightly clawed hands over Light making frost appear all over him before heating it up to melting point. Washing the blood away surprisingly easily. "Hmmm. That's If you want me to." Khuul suddenly looked to where the other fight was happening hearing a shout in his head one which he knew before.
