A little girl with long braided white hair and black little wings stood on the front porch waiting for her aunt to return. She had expected at the very least to see an older Ahren or to see a bigger Adan, but she had not expected to see these... strangers coming with her aunt.
Miyu's eyes widen as she stood stark still on the porch eyeing the newcomers.

Lin grinned, "I like it here, there's always people to talk to."
She looked ahead and waved at Miyu to show her everything was alright. Her niece had gotten better but she still had her moments.

It was very quiet on the ranch. Adan and Ahren, though they hadn't been far ahead of the others, were aleady out of sight, having disappeared into one of the buildings (the ranch house most likely, since Ahren had said something about talking to his mother).
Yet coming from the direction of the training pen, there came a tall, familiar, dark-haired figure.
"SEEKER!" he shouted, breaking into a run; and a moment later he had Lothiriel in his arms and was swinging her around and laughing.

"Daeron!" Lothiriel laughed, throwing her arms around her cousin's neck. "It's so good to see you again!"
When he put her down, she smiled and motioned towards her traveling companion. "This is Pengolodh," she introduced him. "Pen for short. Pen, this is my cousin Daeron."
Her eyes shone with amusement. It meant that he owed her a month of cooking.

Lin grinned from ear to ear watching the two, "Yay, Lothiriel wins," she giggled.
She walked up to Daeron and waved at him.

Daeron grinned and knelt down to Lin's height. "Hello, Lin," he said warmly. "It's been a long time since I've seen you ... how are you doing?"
Before she had a chance to answer he held up one finger to Pen. "Don't you go anywhere, I have questions for you," he warned.

Pen blinked. "What did I do?" he asked no one in particular.
Lothiriel giggled. "You were warned ..."

"I told you so...." Lin looked up at Pen before turning back to Daeron with her cutest smile ever.
Not that she ever meat to do the whole cute thing, she hadn't grown out of it (and probably never will.)
"I'm okay," Lin replied, "Adan and Ahren showed me how they go fishing, it looks really neat. I want to try someday too! Well.. there's a lot of things I want to try, but that's just the way it is."

"And of course," Daeron laughed, "There are never enough hours in the day to do everything you want."
He straightened again and grinned. "Have you been to Tor Karad at all since the last time I saw you? How's my family doing?"

"Everyone is the same as usual," Lin smiled, "Though, I still go every day, which is about every month or something like that here. Sometimes I find them, sometimes I don't."
She paused to think about it, she should spend a day just trying to track down Earendil and play some more.
"And you? You're doing okay too?"

"I'm good," Daeron grinned. "I'll be leaving in the morning to join Celebor and Celeborn and Donovan on the hunt, so this is probably the only opportunity I'll have to see you before you go, which is a bit of a shame. Still."
He paused thoughtfully, then smiled again.
"Has Tinuviel found a suitor yet, do you know?" he asked eagerly, leaning close to her again.

"Actually," Lin thought about it.
That was a good question, she didn't even think about Tinuviel having suitors, though it would make sense seeing that Tinuviel at least lived in the city.
"I don't know, I don't get to talk to her as much because she's busy a lot, maybe I should ask."

"I'd appreciate it," Daeron smiled. "I don't get to hear much news from them, considering how much I used to travel letters were never any use, and well you know how Ada is."
He paused, then leaned close. "How about you take Seeker inside the house?" he suggeted, his eyes glinting mischievously. "I'd like to talk to Pen for a bit."

It must be guy things Lin thought as she nodded excitedly at the idea that Daeron and Pen would get to know each other.
"Okay! I'm going to introduce Lothiriel to Mommy and Daddy, and Miyu too!" she grinned.
She turned around and took Seeker's hand, tugging it lightly.
"Come on! This way!"

Lothiriel laughed and followed Lin willingly, ignoring the two men who had been left behind.
"It sounds as if there are a lot of people for me to meet," she smiled as she followed Lin.
