Kokujos 2 sharks throw themselves in front of 2 of the attacks, sacrificing themselves. Kokujo was left to block the third on his own though, raising his mechanical arm. The force knocked him off his ride, but the damage was minimized by Kokujos defensive tactics. Kokujo extended his arm again, directing the shark he had been on to dash quickly at the knight while he was distracted with Kold. The shadow shark morphed into something resembling a swordfish, giving it greater speed. Even though the knight had a cutting barrier around him, he would likely be impaled by the shadow creature before it was properly destroyed by the barrier.

I already know that. However, because of that incident dozens of soldiers died in vain. Everything they worked so hard for, as well as the knight commanding them....amounted to nothing. A wasted sacrifice can only bring bitterness and hatred, which is exactly the case.

((Sorry Viral, you can't really "jump out of the water" unless you go up several leagues. This is an underwater adventure made possible thanks to magic. Just keep that in mind for future posts please. xp Cool attack though. xd ))




*the knight receives minimal damage from Kold's slicing attack, thanks to his armor. However, conversing with Kyla was a huge tactical error. He just barely dodged Shinnen's attack and received a lot of damage from the shadow swordfish. The armor is pretty tough, but it cracks a little*


Heh, it must be nice to be so simple-minded. Not everything is in terms of good and evil you see. We were seen as evil, but there was little else we could do. Don't be so quick to judge.







Everyone, please stop! *a beautiful young mermaid approaches the group from inside the castle*

The shadow fish descended back into the dark deep. Kokujo watched the happenings through his frown. He didn't know exactly what was going to happen, but it was probably going to be a waste of his time, but at least they had gained entry into the castle. He glared at the captain, still not really trusting him, but never the less he followed after them. "Aw, what a spoil sport...I was hoping for a fish-knight lunch" Corbenik said dejectedly.

*The inside of the castle is actually dry. There seems to be a balance of air and water pressure, keeping the inside of the palace dry. Quite impressive for a sea floor palace. All of the Aquaticans in the palace are walking on two feet (with proper covering of course). Apparently Aquaticans are amphibious. Straight ahead is the throne room, which is beautifully decorated with pearls and bright coral. Princess Umika sitting on the throne, with the Suichuuian Knight Captain at her side.*


I'm so sorry for the trouble that he caused you. He was just trying to avenge his fellow knights. However, I know that vengeance begets vengeance...so let's try to resolve this peacefully. Captain Kaikishi....explain your reasons to them.
