TeHsChNoZbErRy "No, I don't." she replied, looking at him. She stuck her tongue out lightly. "You just crept upon me! You sneak!" Her smile... It's so familliar... Emblem smiled at Maria, and then put his hands back behind him. "Eeh." He shrugged and sighed. "I've been called worse...." He looked back over at her, and admired her. "So, you've never been so scared of something, but me? Your not scared of Death?" He questioned her... 'I feel like i know her...' Thought Emblem to himself. I can't ask her, she'll get too suspicious... I changed my name when i became a death bringer for a reason... He swallowed, and then waited for a reply nervously. Have I met her before... maybe school?

"Death?" she yawned, "Nope! Not a bit!" she leaned back, lying down on the roof. "You seem familiar..." she murmured, "Emblem right? That a nickname?"

TeHsChNoZbErRy "Death?" she yawned, "Nope! Not a bit!" she leaned back, lying down on the roof. "You seem familiar..." she murmured, "Emblem right? That a nickname?" I cant belive this... "Naah." He lied, almost too convincing. "It's irish. I think..." He smiled. "Famillar, ne? Im new to town, i dont see why id be so famillar to you... Unless i look like one of your friends, have any of your friends die-" He almost said died but then he realized that he wasnt supposed to know any of that. "Have any of your friends moved recently?" He rephrased that, so he didnt look guilty or suspicous. But im lying to this girl, whos gonna die soon...

"Yeah, one of them 'moved'." she replied, looking away. "Emerson..." she murmured. "he was the only friend I ever talked to..." she laughed a bit. "You remind me of him." she paused, then whispered. "He hung himself."

TeHsChNoZbErRy "Yeah, one of them 'moved'." she replied, looking away. "Emerson..." she murmured. "he was the only friend I ever talked to..." she laughed a bit. "You remind me of him." she paused, then whispered. "He hung himself." MARIA! His mind screamed. "Oh. Im sorry." He looked away, "Had to be sad for you, you must've loved him alot... " He looked up, and then breathed out heavily. He wanted to tell her he wasnt dead, just paritally dead. He was still alive. "It's okay though... im sure he's in a better place." Oh, Maria! It's me! Emerson!
His insides screamed...

Let's get off this depressing stuff!" She does love me...! "Yeah..." He looked back over, he figured one little clue wouldn't hurt her, and wouldnt hurt father death. "Do you believe in Second Chances; Do you belive they happen?" Emblem took her hand, and showed her the scar he got when they went rock climbing and he fell. "I believe..." He whispered looking up at her. MARIA! I love you too!!! Thought Emblem.

TeHsChNoZbErRy "Em?" she looked at him, almost crying. She threw her arms around him, burying her face in his shoulder. "Em? Is it really you?" YES! His mind cried, IT IS ME.... "Yes, Maria. Im home." He smiled regretfully as she wrapped her arms around him. "I got a second chance..." He pulled her face up from his shoulder and smiled. 'I lied to her, what do i say to make it right?' He swallowed. "Don't cry Maria, i'm here to stay..." He kissed her cheek, and then looked back at her, "Im here for good, no getting rid of me, okay?" He vowed that. MAIRA! Im home...!!! Were the words his mind said.
