It seemed that his memory had failed him, as he suddenly remembered, due to here initial statement, that the two had never actually met. Her name had been said, but little more than that. Now would be a good time to do introductions, in Koyuki's opinion. " Oh! Um... I'm Koyuki. I'm Akiko's brother. And Yuki's nephew. Nice to meet you!" He held his hand out, but noticed the blank stare that was received and withdrew it, awkwardly.
Scratching the back of his head, nervously, he responded to her query with a slightly discouraged opinion. " Um... Yeah. She's here. In the Kitchen... Just, um... Just come in... She's this way.", He said as he opened the door wider, allowing her to step in, as he led the way to the kitchen. Once he was in the doorway of said room, he said to his Aunt," Uh... Akemi's here for you, Yuki..."

As Yuki heard a knock on the door and Koyuki went racing to answer it, the woman couldn't believe that it was time for classes already. It seemed that Akiko wouldn't get a break from her constant training. Closing her eyes, the clan leader made a mental note to give Akiko a break after this school day or perhaps let her sleep in. Akiko was not like Aya and therefore Yuki shouldn't push her like she had her own daughter. "Oh? Akemi are you here for class already?" the woman asked as Koyuki introduced the Raiken while coming into the kitchen. "Why don't we all sit down and talk before we start class?" the woman said, offering a seat to Akemi and setting out a plate and chopsticks for her to eat with. "I was just going to have a discussion with Akiko and Koyuki about what they aspire to be here in the academy. You could answer that question for me as well," Yuki said as she sat down calmly in this lovely family setting. "Open wide, Ayumi," the woman said cutely to her three year old daughter. Ayumi did so with a smile and ate the egg that was held out in front of her. "What do you think? Taijutsu? Genjutsu? Eseijutsu? What really interests you, my darlings?" the woman asked both Akemi and Koyuki.
Yuki was acting calmly and sweetly towards the Raiken who she had kicked out of class yesterday. The sensei was acting as if nothing had happened. "Did you learn the genjutsu from Kolo yesterday?" the woman asked, checking up on Akemi to make sure she had learned the technique from the person she had been attempting to bully around in her class. "Not many Raikens are interested in genjutsu, same with our clan," Yuki said, as she had a feeling that Koyuki wouldn't mention genjutsu as an interest to him as well.

Haruka could've sworn something was mentioned about visiting the Tenmoki household...well...it was a start, she supposed. Fortunately, the Tenmoki house wasn't that far of a walking distance from the Uchiha estate. So taking the western street leading from the southern side of the estate, Haruka set out at a fair-paced walk. On her way, she noticed the weapon store opening up for daily business - something she was quite certain the bar on the other side, no, all of the stores in Shimagakure were currently-...
The streets were not crowded yet at this time of the day, but she preferred it that way. With a small smile curving her lips... She supposed there was something oddly... Almost nice, of mornings. She stopped at the end of the block.
...was this it...?
It wasn't as large as the Uchiha estate, but it was a pretty house for certain. It was built in the traditional design, Fire or Rice Country, she wasn't so certain...but the wood of the roofs seemed to drape with heavy elegance over the expanse of the house. Haruka looked around. Was that a dojo, over there in the distance? Her nose caught the heavy scent of jasmine flowers, and many other types she couldn't name as well, and as she gradually drew closer, she noticed that the expanse of land that surrounded the house dotted with color and bordered by white was actually an immense garden.
She stopped for a moment, catching a white petal in the air that was freed by the passing spring breeze. Prettily iridescent eyes seem to widen slightly in surprise, the increase expanse allowing the sun to catch the tinges of emerald in her blue-violet eyes - her surprise as that petal was actually a small white butterfly who promptly fluttered off and before she could stop it, settled like an ornament in her hair. After several moments of failing to shoo the thing away, she gave up - she was not about to rip it off her hair, which would then take time to repin - and so she decided to head to speak with this Yuki person.
Even with the injuries to her feet and her new heeled sandals, Haruka seemed untroubled by movement as she seemingly slipped along the pathway with easy grace, the heels not even making the slightest hint of sound on the stone of the path. The breeze gently stirred the white skirt of her outfit, the flying petals seemingly oddly contrasting with the red and black of her over-shirt and most of her outfit, yet oddly fitting too. She did not mind too much, either, as the wind streamed back the free-flowing locks of long, wavy, crimson hair...
She stopped shortly and knocked gently on the door. ...yet what I seek, I do not find... ...yet still, tell me more lies... Uchiha Haruka ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ

Akemi just watched the boy with her blank stare for a few moments, waiting to enter the house. After a moment though, she walked in and followed him into the kitchen area. Do I know an Akiko? she thought to herself. She must be another student that she hadn't gotten the 'pleasure' of meeting yesterday due to the mishape yesterday with Yuki. She just eyed the woman as she saw her figure appear from one end of the room. She didn't say anything to anyone as she took the seat the woman offered her. This was the origonal side of the woman she had seen yesterday. She would never admit it, but she was feeling incredibly out of place in this whole, happy family setting. Deffinatly not something she was used to... she thought as she picked up the chopsticks that were given to her and began playing with some food.
Once Yuki mentioned Kolo, it was like a spark went off in the girls mind. "Yes..." she stated to answer Yuki's quiestion about learning from Kolo. "It wasn't easy... he's a good teacher..." she mumbled out after. She didn't think it was in her to deal with Kolo again, and she wasn't sure if she would ever admit it to Kolo himself. She began poking at some more of the food in front of her, when it occured to her that she hadn't eatten yet today, and her stomach rumbled. She listened carefully to the woman, and she had to admit, she didn't know that most of her clan didn't have an interest in genjutsu, just showed how little she really even knew about her clan... "Does that mean I'm not going to like it?" she asked quietly, almost sheepishly. She had struggled a lot with the genjutsu from yesterday, that was for sure, but she liked the idea behind it a lot... But she didn't really know all that much about this new shinobi way of life, so she had a lot to learn before she knew what her real interests where going to be.

((Spring 2 Morning entry))
It was getting late. Ordinarily, Akiko would be asleep by now, but this was too important to miss. She couldn't understand anything that was being said, but she had a general idea. After all, children are the most difficult kind of audience. She could sense that something was wrong: she could tell by the uncertainty, suspense, and sorrow in the air. She was compelled to look for a reason, some sort of explanation for this phenomenon. Yet, when she looked up into his eyes, she was horrified. She couldn't remember what he looked like! All that remained was a large figure shrouded in shadows. She was confused as to why she had forgotten him so soon, and she hated herself for doing so. He kissed her sweetly on the cheek--a sincere one, but cold under the circumstances--and parted through the door into the night. She rushed to the window to catch one final glimpse at him, perhaps to gain insight as to who he was, but all that she could see was darkness. Darkness, followed by light. Glaring light.
Stupid sun.
She tried to cling to the fleeting images in her dreams, but they were fading fast. All she could remember of them was the desire to find him again. She hadn't given up hope yet. Still, there were more immediate concerns. As her dream faded, the physical world presented itself with its own problems. For one, the sun was pummeling into her eyes. She had a throbbing headache that drummed in time with the oscillations of the rays of light. She was still exhausted from the previous day's work and groggy from the abrupt awakening. She tried the best she could under the circumstances, but it still took a full ten minutes just to rise. She stumbled about her morning routine sluggishly and haphazardously. At the end of it, she smelled nice and looked presentable, but she could still use another combing and some other touch-ups. Her sleep-deprived mind had already decided against devoting the energy required of that task. Instead, she headed downstairs, though without her usual energy. Upon entering the kitchen, she rubbed her eyes and looked around. The others in the Tenmoki clan were awake, and the first of the morning guests had already arrived. She heard a sharp rapping at the door, but the noise exacerbated her headache and she moved away from the sound. She took a seat, pressing her own back into the chair's. From there, her mind struggled to monitor her current tasks while balancing the remaining fragments of the night's visions.

kolo walked up to the door of the humble abode from which he was going to learn this wonderful spring morning. He looked around for a minute before he knocked on the door. "RAP RAP RAP" went the door. He took a step back, and waited patiently on the doorstep to be let in. Class may be held in this house, but that is no escuse for being rude and barging in.

This was an interesting question that was given. What did he want to do, as far as a specialty? He hadn't thought about it too much. His family, by nature, was terrible at most Genjutsu, so it might not be a good idea to go against nature and try it. Taijutsu sounded like a good idea, but he wasn't even sure he knew what Eseijutsu was, let alone whether or not he wanted to try it. " Well...", Koyuki began as he continued to think. " Taijutsu would be pretty cool... But maybe..."
His thoughts were stopped by two more knocks on the door. His sister had come down stairs during this, but she seemed very grumpy, this morning, so he felt he should just hold off of any comments towards her, lest he get a few bruises already. He got up once more, and began to head towards the door, saying behind him, first," I'll get the door really quick." Once he had made it to the main entryway, he opened up the door, and stepped to the side to let everyone in. " Welcome.", He said, rather dully, as he was still thinking over the question asked. " Yuki's in the kitchen. Over there."

Yuki, listen to Koyuki, Taijutsu put much strain on a body and took constant training to maintain peek physical condition. Taijutsu was always need in a shinobi's arsenal. "Taijutsu is a good choice for any shinobi. It is important to be well rounded, but to always have a point in which you excel." As she stopped to hear Kolo's voice. She had heard of Shin's unfortunate news and would not want the boy to feel outcasted. She would save the news for later. "Kolo, come in. What kind of shinobi do you think you will aspire to be? Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Ninjutsu, Esijutsu, Fuinjutsu?" Yuki was always interested in her students, they were he future of Shimagakure, and every class seemed to be stronger than the first and more eager to absorb and create their own Ninja way.

This conversation gave Akiko a little pause. She hadn't given much thought into the matter of what she'd do. Her utensils danced about her plate, pushing food aside without grasping anything. Her mind was now on this thought. Her experiences in taijutsu were, thus far, unsatisfactory. She wasn't sure she wanted to devote herself to something in which she wasn't very skilled. The throwing exercise was intriguing, yes, and she figured she'd need to practice all of her lessons, anyway. However, it wasn't something to which she was ready to commit. Genjutsu was, thus far, pretty easy for her. YEt, she could already tell that the subject of illusions--false realities which could not be properly analyzed--was gradually becoming more elusive. She hadn't tried ninjutsu yet, but if it were just a matter of controlling her chakra, she had a good feeling about it. Still, she needed to experience it for herself before she could make a sound decision on the matter. As for the others--eseijutsu and fuinjutsu--she had no idea how those would go.
"I... I'm not really sure myself," she said, still in a bit of a daze. "I guess I need to experience them all before I can decide. But, I don't think Taijutsu or Genjutsu are for me. Could I maybe try Ninjutsu for a while?" She looked over at her aunt, cocking her head to the side. Aunt Yuki would be able to make a wiser choice on the matter.

With a big smile on her face, Yuki tilted her head back at Akiko. "Of course, my darling!" the woman boasted, seeing that traces of Aya were in Akiko after all. "Ninjutsu is sister to Eseijutsu. Why don't we get you started on Kawamiri no jutsu. Its a technique that aids you in dodging attacks. Anyone else wishing to learn a bit of Ninjutsu better pair up with Akiko," the woman said as she opened the door to the back yard. "Ah, Taijutsu and Eseijutsu mix together as well," the woman said as she referred to Koyuki's choice. "You know there's a dangerous technique that is a combination of Eseijutsu and Taijutsu that I could teach you," the woman said with a wink to her nephew. As she held the door open for the students to head into the backyard, she also pointed a finger towards the table. "Feel free to grab a bite to eat. We'll be spending a lot of energy today," Yuki told the students as she caught onto Akemi's comment. "It doesn't necessarily mean you won't like it, but I'm sure you won't really explore the realm of genjutsu since your clan will have you focus on weapons and ninjutsu," the woman explained to the young Raiken, given her one of the ugly truths about being part of a clan.
As the woman stepped out into her back yard, she took in the beautiful smells of the spring flowers that surrounded her home. The grass was a beautiful green and the bushes were already budding with flowers that would bloom later in the season. Her home truly reminded her of the mainland. Even the sounds of the trickling water fountain put her at ease. "Alright," the woman said, putting her hands on her hips. "For those of you that wish to learn Kawamiri no jutsu, we'll begin by understanding the technique. This Ninjutsu accelerates your movements and gives you a brief screen of smoke to help prepare yourself for a sneak attack. Who would like to throw a punch at me?" the woman asked, wanting a volunteer to step forward.

Sensing someone approaching, she slipped aside to the shadowed corners, and watched as a boy with the palest blonde hair she had ever seen and blue, blue eyes marched up straight to the door and began knocking (more violently certainly than she had) on it. But it seemed to have been effective and caught the attention of the occupants inside, for the door opened with a click and she heard another person speak. She quickly darted from her hiding spot and was able to stop the door with her outstretched fingers before it fully closed, slipping inside, neither minding the butterfly that still stubbornly clung to her hair nor the leaves and stray petals of jasmine flowers from the wind caught in flame-red, wavy strands.
The person who had opened the door said that the person named Yuki, who happen to have the same name as the Academy instructor and principal she was looking for (so she assumed they were one and the same, because she was most certainly at the right house) was in the kitchen. She quietly slipped in line behind the other students, not bothering to introduce herself to the others but merely watching, listening for now...a little hindered in her progress through because she was certainly not used to wearing heeled sandals (like Sakura's post-Shippuuden) - or any type of shoe for the matter - preferring to spend most of her time barefoot...and the layers to the clothes in general were troublesomely uncomfortable anyways.
They were led to the backyard, Haruka noting that it was interesting that this woman should see it more fit to provide outdoor training to her students instead. She supposed she was somewhat grateful in this aspect. She may have been no stranger to mundane classwork, but still it was an irritating aspect of Academy classes. But it would seem that she was not able to resist the invitation to throw a strike when it was consented. Even though it this was for the sake of an experimental display of the Kawarimi technique...it was fine. She won't mind aiding in demonstrations, just this once, then.
Perhaps the other students would have been quite surprised, as the doll-like girl, seemingly incapable of holding anything heavier than her breakfast spoon, rushed at Yuki.
The Ashi girl from the previous night had fought in quite a unique manner...where most would use the fists, palms, elbows and lower arm to deliver strikes, that girl had solely used her legs and feet while Haruka only had in the rare occasion to disarm the opponent by disrupting their balance. Perhaps certain things from the previous night had stuck to the young Uchiha's combat style for as she rushed at Yuki, the white skirt of her outfit flaring - more prominently revealing the black shorts beneath - but rather than expectantly using her fists, she swooped low, a flash of crimson and dark, dark red...letting her left hand touch the ground along with her left foot kept there for stabilization, and in those swift fragments of ensuing moments, in a sharply smooth part-cartwheel, aimed her other foot - free in the air for now - in a strong downward swing at the principal.
With the swift movement, the butterfly from her hair fluttered into the air for the safe refuge of the skies, while the leaves and stray petals of jasmine were freed once more. But neither the beauty of the swift movement would have mattered...the sheer audacity of the act would have probably surprised even the most withdrawn of the students. This girl, she had aimed her foot at the acclaimed Tenmoki Yuki, the head Esei-ANBU of Shimagakure no Sato...in her house, to boot and not to mention seemingly not appearing to regret that choice of action for the strike at all.
This girl...
...the b*****d child of the Uchiha clan.
Certainly, the expectant Kawarimi followed, and she herself had been able to land solidly on her feet with the completing half of the cartwheel, the stabilizing hand and foot leaving the ground while the right foot - the same she had used against the principal - planted first and shortly ensued by the other solidly on the ground. But it wasn't a stiffly upright position, her posture had almost immediately sank a bit more closer to the ground in the next instant, a part-crouch almost...as if the child's body instinctively knew what to do next in combat... Because she had, indeed, been in one too many fights in the short years thus far in her life.
And Haruka, with a small, cold smile on her face, ambivalently gave the reason why she had disobeyed the order to throw specifically a punch: "...otherwise that would disrupt balance, no...?" True enough. It was a simple answer, merely six words, but the fact and logic was undeniable...the lunge behind a punch would disrupt the attacker's balance with the defender shifting out of the way with Kawarimi. Misplaced force to empty space and with nowhere to go, would propel the body forward, and only those already possessing excellent control of footwork - a trained art - would only then be able to prevent the inevitable fall, or total interruption in balance. But there was also certain defiance behind this girl's choice of words...that certainly wasn't the only reason...
...she would not - refuse to - make herself a fool in front of the other students.
Haruka was not one to answer with words.
And with how she had chosen to respond...with action rather than meager words...
There was no such thing as hesitation, within the wild elf-child. ...yet what I seek, I do not find... ...yet still, tell me more lies... Uchiha Haruka ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ ┼ Φ

[Yup. Roll whenever you're doing an action.]
Yuki was a little surprised to see who came up to challenge her first. It was a familiar face, but one that had not been seen often. The Tenmoki woman referred to her as Ichi's fallen Uchiha. What little interaction Yuki had with the girl and what little she had seen of her, the woman had found her a bad taste here in Shimagakure. However, Yuki was principal of the academy and therefore kept her opinions to herself. The girl's attack was terrible with so many openings. She was disrespectful without announcing her attack in this training environment and very full of herself as she smiled. The woman wanted to knock her down a notch and put her in her place, but that was all in due time. As the kick, not as swift as the girl thought it was, came at Yuki, she quickly began to react, her hands going together in the seal of the ram so fast, that none of the students would be able to catch it. A cloud of smoke encased the woman along with Haruka's foot. A hit could be heard and Haruka would definitely feel a connection with a solid object. As the smoke cleared, a broken pot would fall to the ground as Haruka tumbled backwards.
As she landed, the girl sunk her body down to the ground. A smile on Yuki's face meant she liked this motion. As Haruka lowered herself, the sensei merely continued to press the motion onward. Grabbing one of Haruka's arms and pushing her with a good amount of force, the Uchiha's chest would fall to the ground as Yuki pinned her. "Once you dodge your attack, you use the screen of chakra to aid you in finding an opening on your opponent. Attacking from behind is the most effective," the woman explained as she gave a little push on Haruka before letting her go. "And since some of you have not been in class yet, let me be the first to tell you that this is a respectable environment where you will announce the first attack of a spar, practice drill or training exercise," the woman said as she walked away from Haruka.
"The first step to having a clean and effective Kawamiri is the element of surprise, which is performing the technique without the opponent realizing you are doing it. Kawamiri uses the seal of the Ram," the woman stated as she held up the seal of the ram with her hands. "Just like in Henge and bunshin, your chakra will aid you in a screen. Practice the seal without the target seeing you do it, which will give you a larger element of surprise," Yuki explained the first step of learning Kawamiri to anyone who wished to hear. Once she finished, she put her hands on her hips. "Now, I know all of you aren't here to learn Kawamiri. What other technique are we interested in today?" she asked, hoping to get a division of the class set up.
Dodging with Kawamiri 1d20 + Dodge [500] + Kawamiri [30] = 530 [No Roll. Auto-Success.] Sneak Attacking with Grapple 1d20 + Grapple [500] + Sneak Attack [100] = 600 [No Roll. Auto-Success.]
Body Replacement Technique [Kawamiri no Jutsu] This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Explosive tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Fundamentally, all ninja know this technique. If the technique is successful you can use sneak attack to attack your target. CP Cost: 5 Damage: N/A Requirement: Must be taught. Seals: Ram Avoid: Dodge or Ninjutsu roll. Special: + Chakra Mod to Dodge, Sets up for Sneak attack if dodge is successful. [hasty post, sorry, just wanted to get something in incase I go m.i.a this weekend]
Akemi finished playin around with the food that Yuki had given her, and then finished it off as she listened to the woman talk about ninjutsu and other stuff to that Akiko girl. As more people started entering the house, the girl commented back to Yuki, "Would it mean much if I kept looking into it?" she said quietly to the women. The girl had genuinly thought the idea behind genjutsu was cleaver, but she had known that her clan had other idea's for her. She knew she would have to leave her main studies in what Yuki had mentioned.
Well, ninjutsu would be what she looked into today, and then when Yuki had asked for a student to come at her with a punch, and a grin came to the girl's face as she contimplated the idea. She couldn't react other then that, because another girl she had yet to meet had already took advantage of the moment. She then looked to that Akiko girl, and figured she needed to earn a few points with Yuki after yesterday. "If we need to pair.. I guess I'll pair with you" she said quietly to the girl. "But I do like to make the first move..." she said with a small smirk, but then realized as she tired forming the seal, that she was drawing a slight blank. She knew the seal from yesterdays work, and that was about it.

As the procession of students left for the backyard, Akiko stood up shakily and followed. Her pace was a little slower than usual and lacked the slight bounce she usually had, instead appearing more solemn and deliberate. As she entered the back yard, she saw quite a spectacle unfold. One of the students made a mad dash for her aunt, attempting to perform a cartwheel kick into her. Akiko knew better, ever since she tried to fool Aunt Yuki with the Henge no Jutsu the night before. She wondered why a lot of the people her age were so cold and arrogant. These people may have hidden potential within them, but right now everyone was an academy student--not even a full-fledged ninja yet! It would certainly be quite some time until anyone achieved the level at which they would be able to access any sort of raw power. They simply needed to accept their superiors and try their best to learn from them. Akiko remembered how she herself had changed within a matter of a single day. She used to use her brain to try to calculate her way through the training. When that wasn't enough, she had to tap into her unstable emotions and find another way to approach her lessons. She used her feelings a lot more now, and she never wanted to go back to the way things were before. So, if everyone around her was intent on becoming aloof and cocky, she would strive to bring some semblance of humanity back into the shinobi way.
She was definitely interested in this training, but she knew it would be difficult. Not only did she have to complete it under sleep deprivation, but she had to ensure her opponent didn't see her actions. She looked around for an opponent, but apparently one had already selected her. She recognized the girl across from her, but she couldn't put a name to the face. She'd have to ask later. In the mean time, the girl looked like she was trying to ponder something. Akiko took the opportunity to make her own first attempt. She interlocked her hand and stretched them high into the sky. Just as she let her fingers slip apart, she formed the seal of the Ram and dropped her arms quickly. "All right," she said, "I'm ready to begin." The beauty was, though, that she had already begun.

Kolo wanted to learn the Rope Escape technique, but he knew that Shin was going to teach him later, so he didn't want to make him feel bad becuase he learned it in the academy. He wanted to learn the Kawarimi, it looked like it would be useful, particularly if he had to fight Seiko again. He wanted to be able to dodge at every oppurtunity. He looked at Akemi, but saw, to his displeasure, that she had found a partner. He now had to work with someone he didn't know. Lucky for him, Seiko wasn't there to learn this technique as well. He looked to the boy who had let him in. "Hey, do you want to partner up?" He asked innocently, approaching the boy. Before the boy could look over however, he quickly slipped his fingers togethor and formed the ram seal. He couldn't believe it was that easy. He wanted to get this done with fast so he could learn the rest of the jutsu, and maybe fight someone. Just for the sake of fighting.
Kawamiri Training I - Learn Hand Seal The seal to use Kawamiri is the Ram. You must use the seal quickly and with stealth so that your opponent will not see it coming. Practice utilizing the seal with sleight of hand. DC: 15 1d20 + Spy [1] + Tenmoki-Sensei [5] = 17 Train: 1/3
