Shisei returned to his feet, his sights now set upon his last item. His body walked with the sphere of smoke in his palm. He retraced his steps in the snow, returning to the tree with the arrow. This time his skeleton took him to the southeast. “It may be taking longer, but it was probably better this way. If I had put both in the same area someone may have found them.” the Orochi youth thought, giving himself a metaphorical pat on the back. His ego was felt emasculated ate the plan. Who else his age could have thought of such a plan? What were other ten year olds doing? Playing with a ball in the cup or dolls. Meanwhile the snake wanderer’s mind was comparable to any adult’s. He felt a chip on his shoulder while taking the frozen path. That in its self showed his childish thinking. His form continued and eyes gazed upon a nest in a tree. It was what the boy was looking for. Shisei gambled that the nest would not be destroyed until he came back. His treasure was not in the nest, but it was the branch that the nest was in which was important. The direction it pointed to was the bearing Shisei had to take.

The snake shinobi in training peered around in both directions wondering where it was. He needed to find that ‘thing’ to point him in the next direction, but the serpentile eyes could not detect it. Shisei was considering that he should have made it more blatant for himself. His mind had underestimated the amount of trees and overestimated his brain capacity. For now the serpent child would continue to walk peering about. He was not concerned as yet, despite the sunlight of the day beginning to decrease. The child’s mind was still focused on one thing and that was to return the weapon to his rightful palms. Shisei made a mental note that he’d have to be careful in how he hid things in the future. His mind was sure of the spot was secure, but it did not help if the hider himself could not find what was hidden. As the snow lightly fell the snake child pivoted his head to the sides checking for an indicator.

Finally the ‘indicator’ came into sight. Shisei saw it. The crevice in a tree. It was a large leafless creation of Gaia. Little snake could almost tap himself in the head for missing such an obvious detail. There was nothing but snow upon its branches. It would be hard to hide anything up there, but what the snake wanted was another direction. The gap within the tree was for another direction. The boy turned his frame in the same position as the crevice, staring in the same direction as the tree’s hole. The direction it showed was to the west. An area where the trees were dispersed and not close to one another like in the present area. The serpent grinned within as he was getting closer to his goal. The child’s body slowly walked off to the next way point as the evening sun continued to diminish.

With the trees spreading away the snake youth finally came to the edge of a small hill. It was jagged as if it was cliff near the highest peak of a mountain, but below it were only a few feet. The snake child stood at the edge of the hill staring out into the forest. The scene and view reminded him of a quote he heard from a book. “We think a flower on a cliff is beautiful because we stop our feet at the cliff's edge, unable to step out into the sky like that fearless flower.”. How truthful was that quote? People constantly limited, thinking they are not. Only standing in awe to watch other things perform fantastic achievements. People always stand by to watch and gaze upon wonder, afraid to take that one step and all its burdens for greatness. A step Shisei could walk unhesitating. After all if a flower could do what others gazed in spectacle at, just think what a person could do. The snake youth took that step. His body fell from the small cliff. Only a few feet down where his legs gave way below him and his posterior took the brunt of the fall. His head looked up at the height of his decent and then the upper torso pivoted behind him. Shisei was close.

While watching behind the child of serpents decided to lay back and stared up at the small crag. Within a second of his stare, a small glop snow plopped into the youth’s face. Above that drifted one flower petal. Was there also a flower there? Was it boldly flying into the wind free to do as it please? The thing Shisei was not able to do moments ago. The amber orbs searched to see any other traces of the flower or petals, but there was nothing else. It seemed to be a phantasm of evening hour. Only appearing to have its existence recognized, but no more to create an explanation. The child considered the absurdness of a flower this time of year. Although it also made him wonder about how much closer is it till spring. The child didn’t have a preference when it came to seasons, but it was much easier to train while not worrying about slipping on the ground.

Spring was renewal. Something the boy enjoyed. The relationship of destruction and creation. Life and death. The beginning and end where one end was a beginning and another beginning was an end. It was a relationship like rebirth. Similar to Samsara. His frame remained in the snow as it littered his frame as if he had been in the snow for hours. His release from the other two was like a rebirth. The cycle of power can once begin again. His contemplating mind did wonder what the spring would bring. There was much training he had to do for that time. There was also many jutsu he would need to learn. Without his chains, his wings could spread far. A wingspan very great. Just contemplating the future was beginning to make the serpent youth a feeling similar to giddy anxiety, but not exactly. This is because Shisei did not get ‘giddy’ at least in his mind. Just like cycles there was weakness and strength. Perhaps when Shisei first came to Shimagkaure he was on the cycle of weakness just like winter finishes off the weak. But with spring, which signified growth, he would surely get strong. This boy knew this.

Raising his frame and looking around to see if his tessen was anywhere insight, the boy gave a small sneeze. His body could not fall ill at this time. Even if his mind was still stuck on the childish aspirations on the future. Spring would bring vigor and he would train hard. He would learn everything and soon become stronger than all of his peers. They would not be able to stand up to him. Not Orika, nor Karite, or Tanu-kun or anyone else. Then his strength would grow so he could defeat the previous class before him. His first target would be the Raiken Serena. Next would be the boy with white hair if need be. Especially the Xyn, figure. He would be eliminated permanently. The snake shinobi would learn taijutsu from Maya and then ninjutsu from Ero-sensei. He’d find someone to develop genjutsu from. His body would master all jutsu possible. Then finally begin learning to create his own unique jutsu. Powerful jutsu that none would be able to replicate without his training. Jutsu that could break the cycle of rebirth. That could devour the barrier between this world and the next. Eventually he’d grow older and be able to face that person. What would happen when the two meet? The snake child did not know. Retribution or perhaps just to shake this person’s palm. Shisei was not sure what his motivations were for meeting him, but one day he would. Then he’d eventually find Shiu and mother. The three could share their stories and mother would be proud, because the serpent soldier lived up and surpassed all expectations. Simply because he was that word they used about him when he was still an infant. Prodigy. The word the coined him and he would outshine whatever anyone thought of the word and give it an entire new meaning of greatness. Returning to his feet and searching for the weapon the boy contemplated this aspiration, this dream. His future. Behind those gold eyes could see the boy sitting upon a throne with bodies of the defeated below him. He sat on top with no peer or equal. Upon this throne above everyone else so high up that even the clouds were below him Shisei sat alone.
That was the meaning of ‘Orochi Shisei’. The description of existence and tattoo that rested on his heart to continue to attribute for the future. With a very rare smile the boy continued in the falling snow and cold weather alone. His feet continuing to push forward into the darkness and into the future.

"A lad at the age of 11 shouldn't be worrying about a job!" BakaLao said, knowing that many children in this day and age started working the moment they could walk and talk. It made the captain said to see so many children working farm fields to earn a little ryo for food and their family. Shaking his head, the man continued his tour towards the forest of sorrows. "Now, here is a forest you don't want to go wandering in alone," the old man warned the young Nara. "Our local eseijutsu master made this forest with ninjutsu. The trees are tall and infused with chakra, so they grow at a exponential rate. I'm sure you're used to tall trees, being form the Earth Country, but there's lots of swamps and bogs along with poisonous snakes and bugs in there, so be careful and don't go in alone," BakaLao warned the boy once again as he kept moving along. "Hold on tight to your pack now. This path is wet," the captain warned him as he continued down.

Kolo enjoyed the tour, and when Bakalao told him that this forest was dangerous, Kolo immediately caught up to him and kept the distance to a minimal. The path was indeed wet, and Kolo accidentally slipped and fell. "Ouch..." Kolo groaned as he picked himself up and caught up to Bakalao again. After having fallen, Kolo made sure to hold his pack very tight so it wouldn't slip and fall because then Kolo knew it would take time to pick everything back up.

Serena arrived at the entrance of the forest and sat down on a nearby stump. "Hmm..guess I'll wait for them here.." She hated going into the Forest of Sorrows alone, and the sign warning all students and genin to stay out only made it worse. It also proved how crazy the academy instructors can be at times. The Raiken remembered coming in the Forest for classes sometimes...it was always dark and damp, with swamps and whatnot scattered about.
"I wonder if he can even find Xyn.." Serena sighed, knowing that Xyn was always hiding in quiet places to do stuff. Sorri would have the best chance finding him, though, because the boy was always looking for Xyn to fight. The two rivals were idiots in her opinion. Always looking to defeat one another. Even during the war! Couldn't they have just been happy that their own teammate was alive? Nooooo. All Xyn did was sulk and get mad about the fact that Sorri saved her and he wasn't able to. And Sorri acted like...Sorri of course. Yet, she still had to be thankful that neither of them didn't just let her die..

Sorri seemed to fazed his way inside the fast bundles of tress behind his cellmate. Weaving his way through them while scoffing his annoyance out at the wild life. The moment he thought he had finally found an exit he walked into the gate and groaned, was he gonna be trapped in this maze of huge plants and miss the entire mission? Sorri pushed of the gate and into another tree, giving up on trying to make it out and punched the cursed blockade "Serenaa...where are you....I'm lost." With arms folded, the agitated and childish acting buffoon awaited for an answer. Maybe actually listenign to everything around him would be the right thing to do for a change

The noises in the Forest...they were always quite eerie as they were now. Occasionally there would be a bird or something chirping or squeaking, and sometimes a rush of leaves or a breaking tree branch. Serena always disliked such a sad and seemingly lonely place. Maybe that was why it was called the Forest of Sorrows...
What agitated her more was the fact that Sorri couldn't figure out where the edge of the forest was. "I'm over here. If you'd just pay attention to your surroundings more. And where's Xyn?" The Raiken didn't see him anywhere. "Did you even look for him?" She sighed walked into the forest where her teammate stood. Maybe that's what she got for occasionally thinking that Sorri was 'responsible'.

Senritsu was watching her feet as she walked to her destination. It wasn't as though she had anything else better to look at if she actually picked her head up and looked around. It wasn't very long before she hit the forest lining. She walked around the outside of the forest for a bit before something interesting caught her eye. Someone was outside, seemingly waiting for something, or perhaps someone, to arrive. She was talking to someone, perhaps the person was lost in the forest. The Uchiha smiled her usual smile as she walked up and nodded her head to the girl. "Hello there, may I ask why you are waiting outside the forest? It's a very creepy place for anyone, let alone for young girls such as us. I've heard some very interesting stories from here. But, with how old you seem to be, I'm very sure you've heard them yourself. Ah, but I'm rambling." Senritsu silenced herself, awaiting to see if the slightly older girl would answer. Senritsu didn't really have anything else to do so she could relinquish some time to socialize. Afterall, she had quite a while before she had to complete her list of excersizes. She hadn't spoken to anyone since Sukotto left, and to tell the truth, the days were quickly becoming dull.

Senritsu began to look around to see if she could spot the mysterious person the girl had been looking for earlier before her green eyes returned to the person. It then dawned on her that she'd seen this girl before. She was part of her original Academy year! Senritsu never went to her classes, so she never meet any of the people in it personally. Due to her lax attitude towards training at the Academy, she was still technically an Academy student. But that wouldn't last much longer. With Sukotto training her as he was, she'd be becoming strong enough sooner than people would think. Strange she'd end up seeing this girl out here though; it almost made her wonder about what the girl's plans where. But, the Uchiha wasn't a very nosey person when it comes to people she didn't know and defintely wouldn't be asking about such things. Senritsu looked away again, searching for something she could do while she spent time outside of the forest. The game she'd been playing with the little rabbits had dulled her enthusiasm, so she wasn't too excited to start it up again. Her eyes stopped moving as she was looking around. Not at anything in particular, but still.

Senritsu’s eyes didn’t move, but her mind sure did. She began to remember when she was first supposed to go to the Academy. The girl had gotten as far as the front gate before seeing the students who were inside. Turned off by the thought of having to be taught by some teacher who has to deal with snot nosed children who would be more entertained fighting with each other and seeing who would be the best at something rather than just trying to do their best on their own, she turned around and went back into town. Senritsu smiled to herself as she thought about it. By that time, her parents were already biased in their thoughts about their children so they did not really care if Senritsu was there or not, they had their two precious little kids to take care of. It wasn’t as though she cared much though, it just meant she could go on doing what she wanted without having to get stressed over being grounded or something stupid like that. As she was then, she still had her house to go back to. Though, it was not a very hospitable house and she often only got a few hours sleep before being chased back out, at least then she was able to walk through the front door without having to worry about a knife flying at her head.
