picking but im trying to practice on plucking.

How long have you been playing? I've only been playing for a year. razz I
What model bass do you have? Dunno, but it's my school's best double bass! I think it's a Laguna Bass from the Sunrise series ordered from Lemr Music.
Preferred method of playing? I'm way more experienced in Classical and Orchestral music, but Jazz is what gets me going. I also love to slap and pop my bass, or whatever its called. (Yes, you can slap a double bass, :3)
Personal Influences? My Bass teacher is super awesome!
Favored Bassist/Idol Bassist? Ray Brown
Other: I basically play Upright Bass for Jazz and Orchestra; I can sit and stand. I CAN play electric bass, but I've only really played it once or twice, so yeah. I love playing in thumb position/ 4th position which is really high. That's basically it. heart

Picking.

Les Claypool and heavily bass-ridden songs. That and my friend has been bugging me to play.

How long have you been playing? few months really, been wanting to learn longer...
What model bass do you have? currently a crappy Washburn XP-100, and Im getting a Gene Simmons Axe and saving for a five string Traben Phoenix.
Preferred method of playing?Fingers, switching between two and three, and using a pick if its really fast.
Personal Influences? Steve DiGiorgio, Ryan Martinie, Evil J, Orion, Glen Benton, TCS Vortex
Favored Bassist/Idol Bassist? Martinie's stuff gets to me more, but DiGiorgio is the man who got me really interested in bass..
