New Friends @ the GMFC Clinic

Surion Rakamash

Surion pulled open the door to the clinic, his mom was out shopping and he did NOT feel like doing that so he came to the clinic instead, he looked around to see who all might be there that day as he tucked a small disc into a pocket

Britain

Brit stared at the case...then glanced up at the cold fury in Ogre's eyes. She had to sit hard on a giggle, and it really wasn't working too well...Ogre pissed about Nic and Ali eating things was FUNNY. "I'm terribly sorry," she managed, tone level despite her somewhat twisted expression. "I do so hope you get them back." xd

...Wow, she was SO talking to Nic. Feeling like a complete idiot, Ransom closed himself off again, flopping back against the chair and watching Ali play with Ravine. Better to pretend it never happened, oh yeah...HE didn't do such stupid stuff as get offended by people who weren't even talking to him. Of course not. A glance spared at his mom showed that she was calming down a little...her smile pulled one from him as he plopped Ravine in Ali's lap. "It's okay, Ali. She missed you." A fact that was immediately proven as the ecstatic dragon rubbed hard against the little boy.

Surion Rakamash

Surion wandered in, he only saw one person who appeared near his age and wandered over towards him his tail moving lazily behind him. he stopped near and smiled "Hello" he greeted the boy

Ogre

Ogre leaned towards Britain, eyes narrowed further. "You find this funny, eh?" >_>.... He scowled, flicking a hand. "As far as I'm concerned, they're "gone"... " Not like he was going to go searching for them now.. they'd past the point of no return. gonk

Ali, overjoyed with his new little friend, was content to play with Ravine. [I assume Surion is speaking to Ransom?]

Nic expected a treat after being patted and praised, he waited expectantly... frowning when it didn't come. He eyed the girls ears, wondering what they tasted like. They looked furry, like one of his stuffed toys... twisted Nic gave a chirp, waddling closer, hands out to grab one.

"Cheee~"

Britain

"Yes," Brit replied to Ogre cheerfully, finally relaxing as she managed to grin at him. She and Ransom were unlocking each other in stages, no small feat after the past month. "It's extremely funny. I just hope Ransom doesn't learn to get into things like your boys do...bad enough that Steele's a thief, I don't need him picking my locks!"

Ravine, seeing that Ali was one of those easy-to-convince humans, proceeded to make herself into the utmost attention whore. Shaking his head at the opportunist, Ransom glanced up at Surion...frowning a little to make sure he was, in fact, being spoken to this time. There didn't seem to be anyone else there, so he gave the other boy a wary nod. "Hi," he stated. Better to be cautious than to get in a fight, after all- he'd gotten in a lot of those lately.

Ogre

"He'd be a fascinating thief, with an agent as one of his mothers." Ogre snerked, eyes snapping to the boys. "... Nic?" The growl was low, but loud enough that the boy spun around and looked at ogre, almost dropping his bit of hard candy. Ali clutched Ravine, as if he might snatch her away. "..." Ogre lifted an eyebrow, seeing that Nic was playing with another child.. and not killing anyone or eating anything he shouldn't. "I'm watchin' you."

Nic nodded quickly, popping the candy into his mouth and going back to sit in front of Rini. "Bwoks?"

Ali took that as a sign that it was okay now, and went back to petting Ravine.

Surion Rakamash

"I'm Surion, what's your name?" he asked the boy curiously with a smile as he pushed some of his dark hair over one ear

Britain

"Ogre," Brit scolded, reaching up to tug on his hair. "Don't be so mean to the boys, they're being perfectly good. Ransom will keep Ali out of trouble, and Nic..." she peered over his shoulder, then shrugged. "He'll be okay. Being nice isn't really painful, you know!"

Ransom shifted a little, turning so that his body was between Ogre, Ravine, and Ali as he faced Surion. He liked Ali, and so did the dragon- he didn't really want them split up right now. The surge of fear from his younger friend was...unsettling. Attention drawn back Surion, he blinked. "I'm Ransom. Nicetameetcha."

Surion Rakamash

Surion smiled "Nice ta meet you too, you're about my age I think..... give or take... most of the time I come in here and see adults and babies" he mused and stuffed his thumbs into the pockets of his jeans

Ogre

"...tsk, you don't have to live with them. Their definition of good is slightly skewed." He leaned back again, keeping an eye on Nic since he was interacting with someone else. "You coming to visit us at the house anytime soon?"

Ali chirped happily at Ravine, holding her up in front of him and touching his nose to hers. "Raaaaffeee...."

"Bwokbwok..." Nic snatched the block, waving it around like a maniac before giving it a sniff. "..." He still had candy, so he couldn't chew on it. He stuck the block on his head, peering at Rini. "...eee?"

Saii

The door clicked open, revealing a very disheveled looking woman, bringing in a carriage as well. Her hair was messily tied into a ponytail, her eyes looked extremely tired, and her socks were mismatched-- one was red, another was white. All in all, it was the image of a very stressed mother.

Saii immediately made her way to one of the chairs, collapsing into it, arranging the carriage next to her. Rubbing her tired eyes, she made a quick glance around the room, taking in everyone who was there. Sighing, she gently lifted Crystal and Tobias out, setting them both on the floor, letting them play while she kept an eye on them.

She desperately needed a break.

Britain

"Hopefully," Brit nodded, leaning back to watch the scientist. "I have...a lot of questions for Fyre about everything that's happened, especially Ravine's involvement. Maybe next week sometime...?"

The tiny woman's head snapped around as Saii entered, suddenly tensing completely as she felt the other woman's stress. "Oh dear God," she muttered, rolling her shoulders to try and make the sensation go away. "And you think you have it rough...Hey!" She called out, moving to stand next to Saii. "You look exhausted. Are you okay?"

"Haven't really been much older than Nic and Ali for long," Ransom told Surion absently, gesturing to the toddler next to him. The twins were getting close...and hell if he wouldn't rise in defense of his only real friends besides Ravine. "Sometimes there's lots older kids in here, though."

Surion Rakamash

Sur blinked and glanced at the toddler "oh.... Yeah I was that age not too long ago either" he said feeling a lil awkward now "I've only met a couple older ones like Nani and Damien" he nodded looking back towards Ransom his tail moving slowly from side to side

Saii

"Fine." Saii automatically replied. Gradually, the question sank into her brain, and sighed before answering truthfully, "No, I'm... just really stressed." She gives a wry smile. "It's kind of hard taking care of twins, cleaning the castle, cooking, feeding and cleaning pets everyday... by myself..." Her smile wavers, trying her best to maintain control of herself.

Crystal immediately tugs on her brother's tail, her wide eyes scanning the multiple of kids scattered here and there. Toby's tail shrugs her off, as he stays near Saii, his fingers playing with her shoelaces.

Ogre

Ogre lifted an eyebrow, watching Brit float over to the woman who looked like she was about to fall out. He turned his attention back to Nic, watching him like a hawk.

Nic looked on fascinated again. "...Stack?" He took the block off his head, placing it ontop of the current pile. "WOO!!" Nic clapped his hands together, cheering. "More?"

Britain

Brit peered at Saii critically, then nodded once, sharply. "You...need a break," she stated firmly. Her expression softened a bit, and she offered a hand. "I know how it can be, trying to take care of too many things at once...I collapsed from it, and it's really not healthy! I'm Britain Newark." A nod over her shoulder indicated the child with the dragon, though he bore little resemblance to this mama. "That's my baby, Ransom. What's your name? Maybe I can help a little."

"Big kids aren't so special," Ransom snorted, and shrugged. He was making the other boy uncomfortable...he didn't want that, not really. "Siddown. Where's your mama? Mine follows me around everywhere." His gesture indicated Brit JUST like she had just pointed at him, but there was affection in his tone.

Saii

Saii took her hand, shaking it. "I'm Saii. It's nice to meet you... she gestures to Tobias and Crystal at her feet. "This is Tobias and Crystal. And...well, it's not like I can stop and stuff... my wife, Winter's been gone for awhile, and so most of the chores are done by me..." She sighs, not mentioning that she didn't even know where Winter was either.

Surion Rakamash

"Mom is out doing some shopping here in town I came into town with her but didn't feel like tagging along for hte shopping part" he sat down his right hand self consciously touching his upper left arm for a moment as he did as if checking to see if something was there before resting on his knee

Britain

"That sounds like what happened to me," Brit said softly, taking the seat next to Saii and giving her a little hug. "Steele and I keep very different schedules...so she was always gone when the kids were awake. I finally collapsed, and ended up having to change the way I was doing things...a lot." She glanced at the other woman, tilting her head a little. "Have you thought about hiring someone to help? A maid, or a babysitter- heavens, we tend to adopt them into the family. I don't know how we'd manage without them."

Oh. Well, that made perfect sense. Ransom kicked one foot a little, thinking about it, and nodded. "Uh huh. Mama used to do that too, before...and Vitree sometimes. Supposed to be safe here, so it's a good place. I don't come here too often, a'cause we're always at home or at Ogre's place."

Surion Rakamash

"Maybe you could come more often... or heck maybe even to my place, I'm sure mum would be ok with that" he said with a nod after listening to the words Ransom told him, he didn't quite get why Ransom's mom would stop letting him come to the clinic on his own, but he said nothing about that

Saii

Saii blinked. Maids...? "I guess that's a good idea," she said uncertainly. "I think our money funds are a bit low... I don't know. I'll look into it. That's a good idea though!" She ran her hand through her hair, thinking. "W-Winter's..." she started, before stopping. "It's not that she has a different schedule... it's... I... I don't know where she is," Saii stuttered nervously, "Like. Missing. A-and I have absolutely no idea she could be..." She bit her lower lip, trying hard not to get emotional. "A-and it's not like I can go out and look for her... you know, the t-twins... but, I can't help but worrying! What if something happened to her?" A tear rolled down her side of the cheek, and she rubbed it away, embarrassed for appearing so weak.

Crystal stared at Saii and the other woman. That was someone new! Sitting up, she tugged on Britain's pants and reached her hands out to Britain, giving a look that demanded to be picked up right now.

Britain

Gently, Brit reacted first to the little girl and then to her very upset mother. She pulled Crystal into her arms, snuggling her absently, before hugging Saii tight. "Oh honey...shhhh. I'm sure everything will be okay. Look, I'll make you a deal- you need help far more than you think you do." Maid. Definitely. No doubt about that. "If you'll give me your address, I've got a great source for help around the house. Don't worry about funds- the GMFC is about helping others, isn't it?"

Several feet away, Ransom was also reacting to Saii's upset. The younger of the two empaths watched her with narrowed eyes for a moment; tears and despair had made him nervous since he came home. Slowly, he turned his attention back to Surion, but he couldn't get rid of the tension. "I dunno. Maybe? I can probably come here more, anyways. Mom isn't worried about me being here."

Surion Rakamash

Surion nodded "Yeah, if I'm around I'll visit with ya then... could use more guys my age to talk to and hang with" he said thinking about his uber fast growing cousin

Saii

Saii sniffed, gaining more control of her emotions before bending down and picking up a whiny Toby, who didn't like being alone on the ground. "It's fine, really. I feel horrible for having the maid clean up and stuff... it makes me feel bad." She gave a small laugh. "I know it's their job, but I still can't help but feel a bit bad."

Crystal gripped one hand tightly onto Britain, and allowed her other hand to play with her hair, fascinated.

Britain

"Then maybe we can figure something else out...maybe I can babysit for you or something," Brit offered, smiling at Saii as she pulled herself together. "Nobody should be that stressed, especially with as much as you have to worry about." The diminutive redhead opened her mouth to continue, eyes laughing at Crystal...when her pager went off in a series of urgent beeps.

"Dadgummit," she muttered, pulling it free and frowning at the number. "Work calls. I want you to stay in touch, though- here's my number." Little fingers flicked out a business card, and she scowled at Saii. "Promise you'll call! Before you hit the breaking point, too."

Ransom was on his feet almost before the noise stopped, blinking as he peered at Surion. "Ung. Sorry, mom's pager means we have to leave. Maybe we can talk next time, huh?" A glance back at the sofa had him flicking his fingers, summoning the dragon back to his shoulder. "Sorry, Ali! I'll see you at your house, okay? I'll bring Ravine."

With a nod to his friends, the boy hooked a finger through his mama's belt loops as she put Crystal back down, preparing to get them out the door.

Talonfaust

"Azziden." Zhane repeated, reaching out to touch one of the feathers and finding himself inexplicably delighted that it felt just like the stray crow feathers he sometimes found in the backyard, except warmer.

"Assiden!" he repeated. "Fezzer Assiden! DAM-ET!" Yay! He was learning all sorts of new words! He was oblivious to the way his father cringed and stared at him like he'd just grown a second head. Oh lovely, THAT would be fun to explain to Yeande...

Zhane's purple-and-blue earfins flared as he suddenly took note that several of the bigger people around them were looking at magazines. Maybe they were supposed to have one too. Heaving himself to his feet, Zhane grabbed a magazine at random off of the nearby table and pulled it to the floor in a flurry of pages into his and Ava's midst.

Surion Rakamash

Sur looked around for the foreign sound finally spotting the source in Ransom's mom's had "Uhm ok, it was nice ta meet you Ransom.. see ya soon..." his eyes moved back to the boy and watched him leave

JadeEye

Ava cheered as Zhane rattled off the long string of word and flashed a thumbs up, a gesture she had learned from Keir on her last visit. She knew it was supposed to happen when people did good things, and that was certainly a good thing.

As he dragged the magazine over, she get a huge grin of mischief on her face. Ahh...paper things! She'd seen these before. The little girl pulled herself closer to the magazine and clutched one of the flimsy pages with her hand, wrinkling up the page that was home to some ad for makeup in the process. Crunch crunch crunch!

Talonfaust

Ah, good, she knew just what paper was for. He wouldn't need to explain. Grinning as well, Zhane began to join her in the festival of crinkling, ruining the magazine's pages completely. He grabbed for one of the pages, finding that it tore at the seam as he did so, coming out completely in his hand.

Blinking at it for a moment, the ijiuo turned it over in his hands examining both sides. On one side, there was a picture of a couple of boys on a swing set. On the other side was a visage of a smiling red-haired woman. Looking to Ava, he mashed the page up against his face like a mask. The effect wasn't terribly convincing but he assumed she'd get the point as he giggled into the thin newsprint-smelling paper. "Lookit!" the muffled voice proclaimed.

JadeEye

The little girl promptly dissolved into giggles as Zhane disappeared behind the magazine page, her hands slapping the carpet in delight as they clutched the makeup ad in her hand. The page torn out with the motions, much to her pleasure, and she wadded it up promptly before chucking it into the air where it bounced harmlessly off an unoccupied chair.

She grabbed for the magazine again and started to carelessly go through the pages until she found a picture of a flea medication ad with a dog of some kind. This was torn out and she mimicked Zhane, shoving it to her face before giving a loud round of yappy dog bark imitations and a howl.

Surion Rakamash

Surion watched the toddlers and mused to himself how the female seemed familiar, he looked around then a face he did remember. he got up and wandered in the direction of Jade

Talonfaust

Zhane peeked out long enough to see what the noise was about and began to laugh loudly before stuffing the picture of the lady back against his face. Unfortunately he didn't know what kind of noises ladies made, so he winged it with various babbling and assumed that this was good enough.

Talon had been hoping to god that Zhane and his friend had not been the source of all of the tearing crumpling paper he'd just heard and had been loathe to look up and confirm it. It was so much easier to just pretend it wasn't happening. Grudgingly, he raised his eyes and flattened his ears to see both children sitting amid a small sea of crumpled papers.

All right, that was enough. Tossing his own magazine onto the table he'd gotten it from with disgust, he rose from where he was sitting to retrieve his son and inform him that they were leaving.

Jade Eye

Ava tittered and threw the picture of the dog aside, ready to leaf through the magazine and find something new, but she noticed that the big antler man had gotten up and was heading her way. Immediately she put up her arms and wriggled her "antlers" at them, beaming at him with no clue as to his intent.

Jade had, somehow, ignored the entire event and still hadn't looked up to see what was happening. However, she noted someone approaching her so she glanced up to see Surion, whom she didn't recognize right away.

Surion Rakamash

Surion smiled and stopped a few feet in front of jade "Hello, how are you?" he asked being as mature as he could muster being he was only a kid

Jade Eye

"I'm fine, thank you," she said cautiously as she tried to place the name with the face. "How are you...Surion?" The name had finally jumped out at her once she studied the eyes. She had remembered the youngster had very distinctive eyes, at least to her.

Talonfaust

Talon disregarded the other toddler completely as he fetched Zhane up beneath his arms and picked him up. "Come on." he sighed, turning to head for the door. "You're not allowed to do that at home, I don't know what makes you think you can do it here."

Zhane's attention immediately shifted from playing "faces" with Ava to this much greater injustice being inflicted upon him as he struggled and attempted to heave himself over Talon's shoulder, reaching out to Ava like she might save him.

"Noooo!!" he complained. "No no no! Dow'!" He didn't WANT to leave yet! He was having fun! And they weren't even halfway through the magazine yet! Where were the brakes on this thing?? One tiny sneakered foot kicked out, clocking Talon right in the jaw and making him wince. "Dow' Day-ee! DOW'!!"

"We're. Going. Home." his father growled amid the squalling, turning to head for the door.

Surion Rakamash

The blue haired male nodded "Yeah I'm Surion" he said giving a smile, he guessed it would make sense not to really regonize him right away after all he had been away for a long time

Jade Eye

Ava cocked her head as the antlered man bent down to pick up Zhane and the smile left her face immediate. Wait...where was her friend going?
"No! No go!" she suddenly bellowed, turning to all four and trying to grab the man's foot. Talon was moving too fast though and she was quickly left behind. Tears instantly sprang to her eyes and the lip quiver started just as quick.

Jade, meanwhile, smiled at Surion. "Wow, you're getting so big. No wonder it took me a second to recognize you. How is your mothe-"

A ear-splitting howl broke the air as Ava burst into sobs, her hands beating the carpet as she launched into a fit.

Surion Rakamash

Surion smiled and nodded he liked that he was getting bigger. His eyes went wide and his hands flew to his ears as he spun to see the source of the crying he bit his lower lip with his sharp teeth, he didn't like screaming any more now then he did as an infant and didn't think he could do anything to stop the source of THIS crying

Jade Eye

Jade sighed.

"Excuse me a second, Surion," she mumbled before she got up and headed for Ava, now seeing the utter mess the two toddlers had made. She palmed her face a moment and shook her head.

"Aye...Ava...why do you do this to me?" Jade asked, though she didn't expect a reply, and scooped the tantruming child into her arms. The toddler sniffled and cried into her mom's shoulder, only muffling her sobs now into Jade's shirt.

The woman sighed and jiggled her a bit, trying to get Ava to calm down, and decided then maybe it was time for home. She started to awkwardly crouch down to pick up the papers with her free hand.

Surion Rakamash

Surion walked over and leaned down helping Jade pick up the papers "Mom's doing ok, she's shopping" he said as he picked upp piece after piece and stuffing them in a nearby trash bin

Ryoka Saikun

A long red haired woman walks into the clinic, a girl with long black hair and cat like ears following her. The woman is dressed in royal attire and the girl behind her is wearing a long blue kimono and has a bow strung over her shoulder.

Nagi follows her mother inside and takes a look around, her golden eyes scanning over the room.

JadeEye

She stood up again and threw away what few pieces she had gotten and flashed an apologetic smile to the young boy.
"Thank you for the help...and I'm glad your mother is doing well. I haven't seen her for a bit, but I suppose she's busy like most parents are nowadays."

Ava paused briefly in her crying, sniffling again into her mothers shirt. For a second, Jade thought she was done, but the toddler only seemed to pause to take in a deep breath, then started a new wave of sobs. Jade glowered at nothing in particular.

"I guess that's a sign that she's ready to sleep...we best get going. Please give your mother my best and perhaps I'll see her the next time I come visit the clinic."

She then whisked back to her chair to gather her purse, then headed for the door. Ava continued to cry. Loudly.

Surion Rakamash

Surion nodded "Ok I will tell mum, and I hope you get her settled" he said and watched her leave only to have his eyes land on another person the lights overhead catching a little on his horn as he turned his head to look at her and her companion

Ryoka Saikun

Ryoka sighed and sat down on a chair in the main lobby of the place, her eyes scanning the room and falling on Surion, her two tails swishing about lazily behind her.

Nagi looks over at her mother then walks up to the counter and peers over it, not being all that tall for a 13 year old and then her knee gives out and she falls down on her other knee with a loud cry. " Ow.."

Surion Rakamash

Surion's tail moved lazily behind him he was watching the woman as much as she was him "Hello" he said and then jumped slightly in surprise hearing the cry of pain "You ok?" he asked and walked over to her

Ryoka Saikun

Nagi looked at him, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. " Aye.. I'll be alright.. just have a messed up knee.. training accident... " She said, mustering up a smile, her fangs catching the light of the room as her ears twitched a bit. " I'm Nagi, may I have the pleasure of your name?" She said, brushing her long black hair over her right shoulder.

Ryoka simply stayed where she was, watching how things were going.

Surion Rakamash

"Surion, Surion Rakamash, nice to meet you Nagi" he said offering her a hand up "When did you mess up your knee?" he asked her smiling revealing his mouth full of sharp white teeth

Ryoka Saikun

Nagi held her hand out to him, the fingertips slightly clawed. " Nice to meet you Surion. I love the name by the way. I was training with my mother and the others of our kind and got shot in the knee with a arrow and my knee has been acting funky ever since." She said, fascinated with the horns on his head as she started to reach out to touch them then pulled her hand back, her face flushing again. " I hope I don't offend with this... but are you a demon of some sort?" She asked, hoping he wouldn't get angry with her question.

Surion Rakamash

Surion chuckled "Actually not really, I am Kerrsalian Vampric Dragon." He tapped his chin wondering if his abilities were strong enough yet to heal her knee or even make it not so bad "The horns are from my Dragonic side, along with my tail of course" he nodded

Ryoka Saikun

" Oh I see.. well I am half Daemon... or Behemoth Neko as we are better known, and half Saiyajin... only my ears, claws and fangs mark my Daemon heritage, my tail here.. that's where my Saiyajin side shows.. I lost my 4 wings years ago." She said, nodding slightly, her hand absently reaching out and running over his horns, from one to the other.

Surion Rakamash

Surion took a step back moving a hand to gently move her hand away from his horns "Sorry my dad says touching those is reserved for one's mate" he explained lightly "It's interesting to meet others of other races" he nodded "My parents say I may get wings later when I'm older"

Ryoka Saikun

" I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to..." Nagi backed up and stared at the ground, feeling like a igit, her ears twitching a bit. " I guess that makes sense... You are just the first person other than my mother I have ever seen with horns... and I was curious... and I apologize for doing that." She said, falling to the ground, and bowing at his feet. " I am supposed to get my 3rd set of wings when I come of age.. which is only a few years from now.. when I turn 16.." She said, her eyes not coming up from the floor.

Surion Rakamash

"Uhhh it's ok honest" he said scratching the side of his temple and looked from her to her companion which he assumed was her mother. "P-please... get up" he said almost sounding like he was begging her to do this

Ryoka Saikun

Ryoka spoke then, her voice harsh. " Nagisa.. get up! You bow to no one!" She shouted at the girl, her eyes narrowed.

Nagi quickly rose to her feet and looked at Surion. " Whats wrong.. your voice.. it sounded a bit troubled." She said as She adjusted her kimono so it covered her hest fully again, it having slide down, exposing her bare should and a hint of cleavage.

Surion Rakamash

Surion winced hearing the harshness and shouting and covered his ears for a moment. "Uhm I wasn't expecting someone to fall to the floor in front of me. I wasn't upset, just trying to honor the way of my father's people that's all" he said softly

Ryoka Saikun

" Don't mind my mother.. she is just grouchy because she is pregnant..." Nagi says, hoping to not anger her mother further. " I understand what you meant about the horns, the bowing was just my way of apologizing for my unwelcome touching.. but anyway... what kinds of things do your people do.. like hunt and things of that nature." Nagi said, rather curious about her new acquaintance. " He's a cutie.. that's for sure.." She thinks to herself, giggling inwardly.

Ryoka grumbles and nods to Surion. " Sorry about that.. forgot dragons have excellent hearing.."

Surion Rakamash

"I'm the youngest of my siblings, and yes we hunt at the cliffs, I became a hunter a while ago. Stuff like that, at the cliffs it's very primitive, we live in caves and such. But I live in a house closer to here then that, I just visit the cliffs really." He turned to her mother again "It's ok, I inherited my hearing from my father... but I've never really liked yelling even as an infant" he told her

Ryoka Saikun

Ryoka took a deep breath and willed her tears to hold back." I... didn't mean to snap like that... please excuse me.." She said, stepping outside, but not before two tears fell from her eyes and hitting floor with a clatter, the tears turning to rubies as soon as the hit the air.

Nagi sighed softly and turned to him. " Sounds like a lot of fun actually... I have never really been hunting." She said, looking at her mother exiting the room. " My mom is really not harsh like that... she hasn't been herself since Father died..." she said, as her golden eyes shimmered a bit. " But anyway... what are your parents like... are they nice people?"

Surion Rakamash

Surion's eyes were drawn to the shinnies which he took a couple steps and scooped up after she left, he looked at her curiously, or at east her disappearing back and then turned back to Nagi... "Very interesting race your mother is..." he mused looking at the gems. He closed his hand around hte gems for the time being "I can't say any of my family have died, they are really all too young, I think my parents are wonderful people, I'm just glad my father is getting over his fear of technology"

Ryoka Saikun

" She is the last full blood of her kind... the Daemon were hunted to pretty much extinction because of human greed.. the horns of a fully grown Daemon are made of solid diamond.. and because of greed... they were hunted down merely because of an appendage.. its very sad. But anyway, your father is afraid of technology? That's interesting... rather must be mildly amusing... what about it scares him.. or rather scared him...?" She said, her Golden eyes watching him curiously, resisting the urge to poke his tail as her own swished wildly behind her before she curled it around her waist.

Surion Rakamash

"As I said it's very primitive at the cliffs, there is no technology there, steal is the greatest thing to them." His tail moved lazily around his legs as he put his hands in his pockets "There's a touch of demon in our family but not really much of any, I didn't know that about them though, i think it must be a different branch or type" he nodded

Ryoka Saikun

"Ahh I see, well that makes sense.. fear of new things. I happen to think the idea of meeting those of races other than my own is rather fascinating and I have never heard of your people, so I must say you intrigue me, Surion Rakamash. I hope we can be friends." She says with a gentle smile and holds her hand out to him.

Surion Rakamash

"The Kerrsalian are a rather private race, even my mom didn't know them till earlier this year, they've been hidden for many many years, thats probably why you haven't heard to them, as for Vampiric and Dragonic..." he shrugged slightly and pulled his empty hand from his pocket taking hers and shaking it "I don't see why we can't miss Nagi"

Ryoka Saikun

Nagi smiled happily and shook his hand gently, being careful not to squeeze it too hard. " You are a very kind guy... and the first person that didn't run away from me, screaming in fear.. and its nice to have made my first friend." She said, her smile widening." So.. do you have any hobbies or what do you do for fun..?" She asked as her ears wiggled ontop of her head and she reaches up and scratched the left one. " I'll tell you.. people are scared to death of me.. but always want to touch my ears.... its the weirdest thing.. I don't really understand the fascination with them myself.. they are just ears after all." She says, her white furred tail unfurling from her waist again and curling at the tip.

Surion Rakamash

"You don't give me reason to be afraid, I've seen people with tails and ears before, as for hobbies, yeah that would be hunting and alchemy, I want to be an alchemist like my father and brother and niece" he told her and turned and dropped onto a chair to sit down as they spoke. "Sometimes theres just something about ourselves that fascinates us" he had his own but he kept that particular thing a secret

Ryoka Saikun

Nagi stood in front of him. " I can show you why people are afraid of me..." She said as she spoke something in the Daemon language and her body burst aflame, the blames a light blue and she didn't appear to be hurt or burning at all. " I... can make things combust... I don't know how.. but it just happens... I hope this doesn't freak you out.." She says as her body takes on a ethereal glow from the blue flame aura around her body.

Surion Rakamash

"Now thats cool" he smirked his tail moving quickly from one side to the other for a few times "I faced fear and triumphed over it in the last month. I think it'll take a bit to bring me back to the stage where everything frightens me" his eyes watched the blue 'flame' dance around her

Ryoka Saikun

" I can make it change colors too.." She said as she chanted something else in her native tongue and her flaming aura burst in about ten different colors, creating a flaming rainbow effect. " Its kinda fun.. you could touch it and not even be burned... weird eh?" She said, smiling that he was not afraid of her.

Surion Rakamash

"Cool I've never seen anyone with that unique ability before... I might be able to help you with your knee" he said after a pause her eyes still very attracted to the flames

Ryoka Saikun

Nagi turns to him, blushing a bit. " You don't have to... its up to you.." She said and no sooner had she gotten the words from her lips then did that very wounded knee give out and blue drops fell from under her kimono and the flaming aura vanished. " Bleeding....how the.."

Surion Rakamash

Surion got off the chair and knelt beside her "You're bleeding? that can't be good" he said quietly looking at the blue drops and then at her

Ryoka Saikun

Nagi pulled her kimono up a bit and the wounded knee was bleeding quite a bit, the blue blood hitting the floor as it fell from her knee. " I'll.... be... fine..' She looked like she was about to faint from looking at the blood.

Surion Rakamash

Surion shook his head "Don't be silly" he told her and touched her leg below her knee with his hand "this wont hurt, probably tingle and tickle more then anything" the gem on his forehead began to glow lightly as he watched her knee

Ryoka Saikun

Nagi watched closely, her cheeks a bright pink. " I... thank you.." She said softly, her voice sounding distant as she watched him, fascinated by what he was doing.

Surion Rakamash

Surion smiled as the open wound started to seal itself shut the gem glowing brightly as he did this "It's one of my abilities... to heal that is" he said softly

Ryoka Saikun

Nagi watched him, her cheeks still pink. " That's so cool.. its really amazing..." She said as looked over at him. " Just.. don't weaken or hurt yourself over me.." she said her hand absently brushing his.

Surion Rakamash

"Mum has been training me to know when to stop... which would be right about.... now" he said and pulled his hand away the wound closed, he wouldn't sure about the rest of the knee, only she could know that. He looked towards her "How does it feel?"

Ryoka Saikun

Nagi moved her leg a bit and was amazed that the burning sensation she had felt from it earlier was gone. " Much better... thanks so much Surion." She said and without thinking, she reaches over and hugged him.

Surion Rakamash

Surion put a hand behind him to stop himself from falling backwards, he was slightly weakened from giving her his energy "You are welcome Nagi" he said with a chuckle

Ryoka Saikun

Nagi backed up a bit and blushed. " I'm sorry... are you okay...?" She asked as she held out a hand to him to help him up. She bit her lower lip to hold in a giggle.

Surion Rakamash

"I'm fine, When I heal I give my healing energy, my energy. I can't kill myself though, I'd pass out before that happens, kinda like my body's self defense mechanism" he told her and sat up again

Ryoka Saikun

Nagi nodded and started weaving the thread between her fingers, as it started to form a dragon design in the center as she rapidly moved her fingers, the design became more intricate and eventually formed a small pendant and she pulled a chain from her kimono and slid it on there and held it out to Surion. " here.. keep this with you.. and may it always protect you from harm." She said, her cheeks slightly pinkened.

Surion blinked watching her fingers moving his eyes darting from side to side as her hand moved "Neat" he said softly and then was startled when she held it out to him "Thanks. Thats very kind of you" he said taking it from her and looking at it

Nagi smiled. " Its the least I can do for you helping me out.. and being the first person that didn't run away from me in fear.. I'm really glad we are friends." She said, a gentle look in her golden irises, as she rubbed her cramped fingers.

Surion Rakamash

Surion smiled "Gotta admit you are a very unique person" he said pushing to sit up and then moved back onto the chair

Ala landed shortly outside the clinic wings spread wide, she noticed a woman who seemed upset "You ok?" she asked before reaching the clinic door

Ryoka Saikun

Nagi stood up and took a seat next to him. " I just recently learned how to make the pendants.. so I thought it would be a nice gift.. and something not too girly." She said with a tiny chuckle.

Ryoka turned towards the voice and on the right side where she had been facing was a rather large pile of what appeared to be rubies. " I.. i... I really don't know anymore.." Ryoka said with a heavy sigh.

Surion Rakamash

"A unique gift from a unique person" he mused with a chuckle and relaxed back in the chair

Ala's eyes stared at the gems for a time then looked up at the woman's face "What's the matter?" she asked walking towards the woman her wings folded against her back

Ryoka Saikun

Ryoka's own wings where folded tightly down her back, both sets of them , the ones coming from her upper back and the ones just above her rear also. " I.... lost my husband... and I am also carrying our child... and I just can't seem to shake this funk.... I.. just feel so alone without him here." She said, tears falling from her eyes and turning to ruby teardrops as they hit the air, her 2 spiky tails hanging limply on the ground.

Nagi smiled a bit. " Well you are very amazing and intriguing.. and that's good to have in a friend.. plus I bet you have all kinds of unique abilities... because you are such a cool guy." Nagi said, patting his hand with her own, being careful not to scratch him.

Surion Rakamash

"Water, floating and healing..." he said with a chuckle "And that's about it" he said deciding to keep his other ability a secret, that way it wouldn't lead to more questions

Ala nodded "I'm sorry to hear that" she said softly stopping near the woman she couldn't resist catching one of the gems as it fell "You know though you carry two parts of him with you though.. One in the child and one right here" she said and tapped where her heart was "And that one will never leave you, and you will never be alone" she said softly and rolled the gem around in her hand for a moment before looking at it

Ryoka Saikun

Ryoka nodded softly and her hand rested over her stomach. " Its just hard to get used to him not living... but he died protecting me and Nagisa.. at least he went down with honor... goodness me.. I didn't mean for anyone to get bothered with my blubbering out here.." She stopped short, seeing Ala playing with the crystallized teardrops. " If you want more, feel free to dig into that pile there.. I have no use for them.." She said, a bit embarrassed.

Nagi nodded, looking very interested. " I'd show you another talent of mine.. but the lst time I did it inside... I ended up destroying my house and several miles beyond it.." She said, laughing a bit. " No one was hurt.. they just were wondering who detonated a bomb.." Not able to hold it back any longer, Nagi started laughing.

Surion Rakamash

Surion chuckled "I'm still working on learning mine. all in good time will control come to those who need it"

Ala laughed "Thanks... I'm kinda attracted to shiny things" she scooped up a few and headed for the door of the clinic "I need to fetch my son, it's time to head home" she said pushing her pale gray hair over her ear she opened the door and looked at the woman "Coming in or staying out?"

Ryoka Saikun

Ryoka nodded, taking a few steps towards the door. " I have to fetch my daughter, she is in there and has been speaking to a boy in there for sometime now.. by the way.. I'm Ryoka Susjin." She said, nodding to the woman.

Nagi nodded to Surion and she was slouching, her expression a rather tired one. " I've really enjoyed talking and befriending you Surion." She said, slumping over to give him another hug.

Surion Rakamash

Surion smiled "it was my pleasure"

"Ala, Alatariel Rakamash" she said following the woman in and seeing her son talking to a female "Surion it's time to head home"

Surion looked up hearing his mum's voice he stood with a sigh reaching into his pocket pulling out a small disc which he pressed a button on to expand to it's full size "It was wonderful to meet you and I enjoyed our chat" he told Nagi with a smile

Ryoka Saikun

Ryoka walked in and waved to Nagi. " Nagisa, its time to leave now." She then turned back to the woman. " Well Miss Ala, seems our children have made friends.. might do Nagi some good." She said and walked outside, spreading her wings.

Nagi sighed herself and smiled at Surion. " How to see you again soon, take care my friend." She said and nodded a greeting to the woman she assumed was his mother and walked over to her own mother.

Surion Rakamash

Ala and Surion followed the pair outside, Ala spread her wings which was rather wide considering they were full dragon's wings and Surion dropped the disc which hovered above the ground and he stepped on

"Till next time Nagi" Surion said and zipped up into the air and away

Ala nodded and smiled "Perhaps we'll see each other around" she said and lifted up into the air following after her son headed homewards

Ryoka Saikun

Ryoka took to the air herself and flew off towards Cerescia, their kingdom.

Nagi flew up into the air, using a levitation spell and followed her mother.

Shopping in Barton

Ala and Surion landed in Barton, Ala having come by wing and her wings folding and Surion using the Hover Disc which he left full size for a moment before tapping a button and making it small enough to stuff in his pocket again

Ala looked at him And your plan is?" she asked him wanting to know what he would be doing while she did some food shopping

"Window shop for a while mom, I want to get something but I don't know what yet, and perhaps go to the park I don't know" he told her

Ala nodded "Ok, back here in 2 hours Surion" she nodded and headed off leaving Surion wandering along the main road

Mia straddled Caroline's hip. Oh how she despised the life of being carried by her mother. She laid her head on Caroline's shoulder, knowing how much she whined her mother would not let her down?'it's too crowded, not like home'. Psh aw. Of course Mia learned to love the simple things in life. The small winds that blew through her locks or even toys in the toy shops that would certainly be on a want list when she learned to write.

Caroline held onto Mia tenderly. She kissed her head as she scanned her surroundings, being a cautious mom for once. A smile appeared on her lips as the site of Ala and her son came into her view. "Ala! Ala!" Her feet ran as quickly as they would carry her, of how she loved being social. "Hey there?" Caroline panted, her chest going up and down. "I haven't seen you in a while, didn't want to miss you?" She flashed her a weary smirk, a piece of hair bobbing out of place.

Now being held wasn't so bad?that was better then dancing in the rain! Mia wrapped her arms around Caroline's neck and giggled with joy

Ala stopped several feet from her son and turned at the sound of her name she smiled when she saw who it was "Hey there Caroline, Hi Mia, You look a lil out of breath" she chuckled

Surion blinked having barely started walking himself he walked closer his eyes on the lil girl with a smile "She's grown bigger" he mused aloud remembering the last time he'd seen the girl

"You know?just a little." Caroline laughed, leaning over and placing Mia on the ground beside her.

Mia stood up on her feet; she tilted her head and curiously looked at Surion. "you horny!" She waggled her little finger at Surion's head; a bright smile on her face.

Caroline glanced down at Mia and blushed a scarlet red. 'Mia?" she said through her teeth.

Mia's brow furrowed in shock, what had she done wrong? "Horny?" She moved her finger back and forth, still pointing at his horns.

Ala snorted and then burst out laughing hearing the young girls' words. "Ok That was priceless" she gasped out between laughs

Surion already having heard 'the talk' turned a lil red in the ears "Uhh I have horns yes" he squeaked seeing exactly what she was pointing at "And a tail too" he added his tail coming around his side and waving at the toddler

Mia gazed at Surion's tail with amusement. "Horny tail!" She cried with happiness. Mia leaped up and wrapped her arms around his tail. Her gray eyes looked at Ala, why was she laughing?

Caroline looked down at Mia and couldn't help but laugh herself. "She's still al lil rusty with her words?"

Ala calmed her laughing "I can see this, but she's adorable none the less... Now if she had said that to my mate I would have REALLY laughed" she smiled at Mia and then looked towards Caroline with a grin.

Surion's ears were a deep red and he knelt a lil closer to Mia "Surion, my name is Surion" he told her hoping she'd remember that

"That's my Mia!" Caroline looked at Mia nervously and beckoned her to stand by her side. 'My deepest sympathies to you Surion." She joked, leaving Mia on his tail a bit as she resisted letting go.

Mia smiled cutely as Surion. "Sur-on is horny!" She nuzzled her cheek into his tail playfully. Her fingers reached out for his horns as he knelt a bit closer. "I Sur-on!" Mia glanced up at him rather cutely and reached for his horns.

"Don't mind Mia, I'm sorry Surion. She has a thing for fuzzy body parts or horns." She wrapped her arms around her chest with a weak smile.

Ala was trying her hardest not to burst out laughing again "Oh this is priceless"

Surion moved a little keeping his horns out of the reach of the toddler, his father told him those were only to be touched by the one he chose as his mate, by tradition of his people and Surion intended to honor that. "Surion..." he pointed to himself "Mia" he said pointing to her remembering her, he was starting to feel the blush creeping further into his face

Ala chuckled "His tail isn't fuzzy, it's scaly" she said if one were to pay attention to her voice it'd be obvious her hiding of laughter which danced in her eyes

Mia nodded and pointed to him then to herself. "Sur-on. Mia!" She clapped her hands as she accomplished saying who he was.

Caroline smiled. "I guess we can add scaly to the list." She looked around the streets of Barton. "Would you guys like to do something with us?"

Surion smiled "That's right Surion and Mia" he was relieved she seemed more interested in the names now

Ala chuckled "Sure, was going to get some groceries, but I'm not in any hurry so I'll do that later, got any suggestions what we can do Caroline?"


Mia gazed at Ala and smirked. "Oy sore! Oy sore!" She cried out, pointing in the direction of the toy store they had passed.

Ala followed the child's pointing and smiled "Well it seems the youngin wants to look at the toys, What do you think Caroline?" she asked unsure if Caroline avoided toy stores or not

Surion looked towards the store as well and smiled seeing the toys in the window

"Toys?" Caroline glimpsed over at Mia and winked. 'I guess every girl needs some toys." She started walking towards the store then turned back. "Mind holding her hand? She might get upset if I peel her away from you." Caroline flashed a sympathetic smile towards Surion.

Mia looked up at Surion, then let go of his tail and bolted towards the store.

Caroline's eyes grew wide as the excited toddler toddled on by. "Mia?not with out a big boy or girl!" She yelled, chasing after her.

Mia stood at the door with a bright innocent smile. "Oy sore!"

Surion nodded and was about to take her hand when she bolted. He shook his head "Did I have quite that much energy as a toddler mum?" he asked her as he headed towards the toystore walking next to his mom

"More" Ala said with a smirk looking at her son "Especially when you got ahold of an energy bar treat from the kitchen, you can ask your Aunty Dia about that one"

Mia's eyes lit up as the door opened to heaven had actually opened. So many?well, toys! "Dollie! Teddy!" A whirlwind of butterflies flew around the store as Mia twirled around d in a circling (more like walked) and waved her fingers gracefully.

Caroline smiled her face getting red, she accepted Mia's powers; they just needed some getting used to.

Surion wandered in after Mia and Caroline his eyes drawn to some of the older kids toys but smiling more about the excitement of Mia

Ala quirked a brow seeing the butterflies "Well that is certainly unique, how very neat"

Mia turned herself around, almost tripping clumsily on her feet as she grinned at Surion. She stopped the wave of her hand and walked over to Surion, taking his hand in her grubby one. "Sur-on pick oy with Mia?" Whatta moocher. Mia stood in front of him, starting to walk hoping he would follow.

Caroline looked at Ala with a weary grin. "I find it amazing myself; she can do so many things?even since she was a baby." With that, Caroline nodded?Mia truly was amazing.

Surion laughed "Ok Mia, lets go look at the toys" he followed as the toddler pulled him along. He looked at the toys they passed

"A special girl, you are certainly blessed Caroline... Well lets follow them make sure they stay out of trouble" she said and motioned after the kids

Mia's eyes scanned the racks of toys, hoping for something good. She stopped dropped Surion's hand as her jaw dropped to the floor. The fairy doll seemed to have a heavenly glow in Mia's eyes. Her skin a pale color, her body as perfect as any doll and her wings?simply amazing, the mess of colors blended together into an extraordinary color. "Want want!" Mia reached for the boxed doll and held it tightly to her chest. She looked up at Surion with the innocent eyes of an angel; she wanted this doll.

Caroline laughed. "just like you! Your boy is turning out mighty well." She grinned, watching Mia's hair bounce and her wings flutter as she walked happily.

Mia glanced behind her, gazing at Caroline. "dollie!" She ran as fast as her feet could go, hoping to show Caroline her amazing discovery?crash, boom, flop. Mia lay on her belly, the doll box right in front of her; she didn't hurt the doll ?did she? Tear's started to form in her eyes; they gently tumbled down her plump cheeks. "Mia hurt Dollie?" She crawled over to the box and put her ear against it. ?

Surion knelt down when Mia crawled to the box "Hey Mia, I think dollie is ok" he said helping her back to her feet and picking up the box looking at it, it seemed ok to him and then he handed it back to her

Ala watched, she wasn't going to get in the way "I think you are going to have a hard time tearing her away from that doll" she whispered to Caroline

"Dollie ok?" Mia brought the doll to her chest as Surion helped her up. She whipped away her tears with the back of her hand.

Caroline nodded. "I think so too?" She gave a lil chuckle and wrapped an arm around Mia. "Just like Surion said, who we know is THE doll expert?I think your doll is ok kid." Caroline smiled and kissed the top of Mia's head. "Now, let us get this do. Anything you want Surion?" A toy store always had something for any age group!

Surion looked around him "Not really thanks, there's another toy store I was going to go to, it's mostly dragon themed, it's my favorite" he nodded

Ala smiled seeing the scene become happy again

Caroline nodded, wrapping her arms around her waist. "Well, ok. Next stop thee other toy store?" She let out a small giggle and ran her fingers through Mia's white tresses. "Come sweets, let's get this dolly!" Caroline approached the counter, doll at hand. "Just this please." Her fingers gripped onto a credit card and with no hesitation she handed the cashier the card.

Mia followed her mom, bouncing up and down impatiently.

Ala chuckled and nodded "it's a few blocks away, most of Surion's toys were from there"

Surion followed the young girl and knelt down beside Mia "Want a piggy back ride?" he asked the bouncy girl

Mia glanced up at Surion, her eyes bright and happy. "Piggy iggy ack ide!" She beamed, raising her hands in the air as she clenched her fists. "Pea-se!"

Caroline laughed, and put her credit card away as she held the doll in her hands. "OO, cool!"

Surion laughed and knelt a bit lower turning his back towards her "One ride coming up"

Ala smiled "What is that?" she asked motioning the credit card, one item Ala herself had never had

"This?" Caroline flashed Ala a confused look. "Credit card?" She walked over to Ala and stood next to her. "You could say virtual money?" To be honest, Caroline was in disbelief that Ala didn't know what it was.

Mia giggled and scrambled up his back with a bit of struggle.

Surion stood up hooking his arms under her knees holding her up and bouncing lightly

"I've never had something like that, just gold and claw" she said with a chuckle

Caroline's eyes went even wider, oh how could someone live without 'the card'!?

Mia bopped up and down on Surion's back. "Fas-ier fas-ier!" she squealed with joy, feet kicking in the air.

Surion chuckled looking over his shoulder at the young female and bounced on the balls of his feet a bit

Ala quirked a brow at Caroline's expression "What?"

Caroline shook her head. "Once I discovered the credit card...It's like a miracle almost! No need to ALWAYs carry cash." She laughed and tossed her head back a bit.

Mia wrapped her arms a bit tighter around his neck, her chubby fingers strumming on his neck. "Weee!"

Ala nodded "I like knowing exactly how much gold I have to spend, not hard by by any means, it's just nice to know, least that's how I look at it"

Surion laughed and turned heading for the door a bounce on each step

"Yea, but this is like your wallet...but in plastic form." Caroline turned to Ala and flashed her a kind smile. "I recommend the card anyday." She followed Surion leisurely into the doorway.

Mia kicked gently at Surion's sides. "Giddy yup!" She whinnied like a horse and rested her chin on his shoulder. "Oooo!" Her eyes lit up, so many things....

Surion laughed glad she didn't kick hard as he exited the store waiting for their mothers

Ala chuckled "I think that kind of technology would scare my husband, Gold works for me" she smiled

Caroline walked out as she dug into her purse. "Gold works for me too..." The gold of the card that laid between two fingers shimmered in the afternoon light. "Whatever float yer boat." She elbowed Ala playfully in the side with a smile.

Everything look so marvelous from this height, the birds ...the bees? Mia clapped her hands, still in place before his neck

Ala laughed "Yes to each there own" she turned heading in the direction of the other toy store

Surion walked ahead of them, he was quiet familiar with the store

Caroline grinned and glanced back down to her back to fiddle with placing her card somewhere handy. "Hmm..." As she did so she looked at her watch. "Da--Gosh Darnit, looks like we gotta jet." She pouted tilting her head and looking at Mia.

Mia glanced behind her at Caroline, he eyes wide and full of sadness. "Nuuu! Horny!" she wrapped her arms even tighter around Surion's neck and kicked the air. "Mia go oy with horny!" Her voice cried with sadness.

Ala looked at her own watch "If you need to" she was holding back her laughter for the name Surion was called

Surion made a face, it said 'air... I need air!!'

Mia swung her arms off Surion's neck with a worried face. "oopsie. Ommy, I no no go!" She kissed Surion's hair to show how happy she was and she would be good. "Me be good! Me give kisses!"

Caroline sighed. "Hun, we gotta go. Mommy has an important phone call waiting from Mommy W." She smiled knowing that Mia would be happy about that.

Surion looked relieved and squatted down so the girl could get off

Ala smiled softly "Next time ok Mia?"

Mia crawled back down Surion's back. "Thank ye piggy!" She grinned waving a chubby hand good bye as she ran toward Caroline and wrapped an arm around her thigh.

Ala smiled "I should get moving, see you later Caroline.. Mia" she said and left the group

Surion waved at Mia "See you again" he said happily

Caroline patted Mia on the head ..

Dear Diary

Well the day went a little different then planned, but it was fun none the less, Caroline's little girl has grown up quite nicely, well technically she is still growing, but she's still very cute none the less. I don't think I can understand this credit card thing Caroline uses, I would prefer to use real gold, the kind I can touch. I think though those credit card thingies are connected to the.... banks, I think thats the word...

Ala leaves for a few days

Torvil nearly tripped over the note before he saw it. He grumbled but picked it up. It was oddly enough, addressed to Ala. He blinked, but went to find her.

Ala was sitting reading a book she'd let Surion go into Barton he'd promised he'd be careful and she trusted him

Torvil came in with a smile. "He love... Message..." he tossed the rolled up paper at her, it was like papyrus only rougher.

Ala looked up just in time to catch it" What on earth" she blinked catching it. she pulled it open and began to read it to herself silently

Torvil leaned on the wall and smiled at her.

Ala looked up "It's for the hunt" she said somewhat surprised

Torvil nodded slowly and smiled. "I see..."

"It's about that time by the looks of it" she got up and walked over to him handing it to him

Torvil took it and skimmed it smiling. "Alright... Well I guess... I'll stay behind with Sur..." He sighed. And looked at her. "Else I'll go crazy with worry..."

"I'll be ok, after all I'll have your thoughts and your strength right here" she said taking his hand and putting it over her heart

Torvil smiled and kissed her softly. "You know just what to say..." He purred.

Ala smiled "Love you Torvil I really do, now help me, I need to know what I should take"

Torvil tapped his chin. "You... some food, some water... and erm..." he tapped his head. "That's about it..."

Ala laughed "I meant to the cliffs in general, you know clothing and stuff"

Torvil chuckled softly. "Love... That's what I meant... You're only going to need the clothes you're wearing..." He said softly..."

Ala laughed "I'm not wearing these cliffs to the caves I never do" she said pointing at her silk shirt and looks baggy jeans and then headed towards the bedroom

Torvil chuckled. "Love, only bring one change... Trust me..."

Ala nodded and wandered into the room pulling open the drawers she stored her cliff garb in and pulled out what she thought would be appropriate and started to change into it

Torvil smiled and chuckled softly, knowing that in all odds... that would not be what she would come home in...

Ala looked at herself, it wasn't a fancy outfit, just a simple low-cost outfit "There I think this will do..." she said looking at her mate "food and water I can get at the cliffs, anything else I might need?"

Torvil shook his head. "You're set..."

Ala nodded and walked closer to him wrapping her arms around his waist and looking up at him "Love you" she said softly

Torvil looked down at her and then wrapped her into a hug, he leaned down and kissed her. "I love you too..."

Ala smiled returning the kiss "I'll be safe, I promise" she said softly before pulling away from him

Torvil smiled. "Of that I have no doubt..." He murmured softly.

Ala smiled softly "Take care of our son, and let him know where I've gone" she said and with that there was a small 'crack' and she was gone

Torvil chuckled and nodded closing his eyes and sighing. "Be safe..."

Surion meets Asmodeus

Torvil looked around the house to make sure Ala had not returned yet, behind him was a rather tall red haired male, his ears were rather long... And he wore a Kazehan Ninja band, his eyes were darting around as well, his long ears twitching, he looked ready to bolt.

Surion lay on his bed blissfully unaware of the sneaking about going on in the other part of the house, he was slowly re-reading parts of the alchemy book his father had already 'read' to him

Torvil finally stuck his head in the door of Surion's room. "I have erm... someone I want you to meet..."

Surion looked up his nose picking up a new yet somehow semi familiar scent "Who is that dad?" he asked not moving from where he lay except his head

Torvil slowly slid out of the doorway, and Asy filled it quite easily, he didn't look like he normally wound, he wore... REAALLY casual clothes.

Surion sat up looking up at the tall male "Uhm hello" he greeted Asmodeus one hand still on the book so it didn't close

Asy smiled. "Hey..." He said, brushing his red hair and shaking it a little, his ears twitched a little and he smiled.

Surion looked towards his book long enough to mark the page and close it then stood up, the male still towered above him, even more so then his father did "Uhm... who are you?"

"Asmodeus Grims..." He chuckled softly and bowed his head, the necromancer smiled.

"Asmodeus..." it took a moment for that to click "Wait I think dad mentioned you..., it's your name I have isn't it" Surion said quizzically

Asy nodded his head and smiled. "Yeah..." He chuckled softly. "I was there at your birth..."

Surion nodded "Would explain why your scent is sorta familiar, but yet not at the same time" he moved closer his tail moving slowly behind him

Asy smiled and nodded his head. "Yeah..." He said with a slight grin. "Doesn't help that I've changed since then either..."

Surion nodded slowly stopping in front of the male and looking up at him not entirely sure what to say

Asy crouched so they were a bit more eye to eye, he smiled and ruffled Surion's hair. "It's nice to meet you Surion..."

Surion shook his hair out once the ruffling stopped "Nice to meet you to... " he smiled

Asy chuckled and nodded his head. "Torvil... Think he'll want me to teach him later..." He smirked. "Perhaps... But later..."

"Teach me??" he blinked looking back and forth at them "Teach me what?"

Asy chuckled. "How to use the Nether of course..."

"Oh!" he knew what the nether was, he'd been in it before with his parents going tot he cliffs or back

Asy smiled and nodded. "That's my area of expertise..."

"Did you teach mum and dad too?" he asked curiously

Asy chuckled. "Your father... Your mother learned on her own..."

"Oh" Surion took hold of the tip of his tail and played with it as he nodded

Asy smiled weakly. "Your mother doesn't much like me... and I really don't blame her..."

"She doesn't... why?" he asked, he didn't really know anything about this particular topic save the fact that his mom didn't like the male

"I did some stupid stupid things a while back... Things that could have hurt your mother and father's relationship... I wasn't really thinking when I did them... and now your mother hates me... I don't blame her and I don't fault her, nor do I expect forgiveness, though I am sorry for what I did..."

Surion blinked "I've never heard mum say she hates.. well anyone" he scratched the side of his head as he spoke

"Just ask her about me..." He murmured softly,

Surion nodded thinking maybe he would.

Asy smiled. "Did either of you have anything planned for today?

Surion shook his head and looked at his dad "I was just reading that book" he said pointing at the book his father had given him

Torvil smiled happily and he shook his head. "Just tearing something down..." He chuckled. "Why don't we take a little walk..." Asy suggested.

Surion shrugged "That's fine with me"

Asy smiled and nodded slowly heading for the front followed by Torvil.

Surion hurried after the two letting go of his tail as he moved

Asy and Torvil walked slow, so Surion could keep up.

Surion ran a lil and caught up ducking and slipping between them before standing up again

Asy chuckled and smiled. "Hey... Why don't you lead..."

Surion looked up at them "Me?" he blinked and then looked ahead of them thinking "Uhm that way?" he asked pointing at a random path

Asy smiled and nodded his head, letting Surion lead the way.

Surion smiled and headed in the direction of the path which happened to be somewhat behind the house

Asy chuckled and Torvil and him followed right behind.

"Off we go to explore!" he proclaimed not familiar with that particular path, he didn't often go wandering down any of the paths around their home

Torvil nodded, looking around, he hadn't swept the path as of late... And he kinda wanted to...

Surion skipped slightly as they walked it was a nice day out, a lil cool perhaps yes, but still quite nice , he turned around skipping backwards and watched the males

Asy and Torvil were watching him, they smiled. "So... I hear you're into Alchemy

Surion nodded "Dad gave me a book and has been reading it to me, it's really neat!"

Asy chuckled. "Ever think about picking up Necromancy too?"

"Not really, Granpa told me about it before we left the cliffs, but I never really thought about learning it." Surion admitted

Asy chuckled. "Yeah... Some people aren't really into the whole... Mucking with the dead thing..." He nodded at Torvil. Torvil shrugged.

Surion giggled, he was still skipping backwards and didn't notice a root that stuck out from the dirt and tripped on it landing soundly on his rear with a rather shocked wide-eyed expression his hands on the ground on either side of him, he was off-center to the path

Torvil winced. "Surion you alright?" He said, moving quickly towards him.

Surion nodded "Yeah" he squeaked still shocked he had tripped "That was rather smart of me" he said

Torvil chuckled. "We have our moments..." He murmured, moving over and offering a hand. Then freezing. "Surion... Don't... Move..."

Surion blinked "Huh?" having just starting to move a hand to take his fathers'

Torvil slowly pulled his hand back, and pointed... At the Bane bush that Surion had fallen into.

Surion looked in the direction his father had pointed and noticed he was sitting on the edge of a bush, on the greens of the plant

"Asy... Grab him... I can't..." Torvil looked about ready to faint. Asy nodded and slowly moved to pick up Surion, to make sure he didn't touch the black flowers.

Surion let himself be picked up and looked down at he partially crushed bush noticing the flattened part was inches away from the closest black flower "I remember those.. you told me not to touch them when I was little" he mused to his father

Torvil nodded. "They'll kill you... It's Dragon's bane... I'm surprised you're not passing out as it is... If I

'd gotten any closer I'd be well... Not awake..."

Surion looked towards his father "I feel normal" he said honestly and scratched the top of his head

Torvil nodded and glared at the bush, watching it catch aflame and burn quickly.

Surion looked back down watching the flames dance with interest

Torvil sighed and waited till there seemed to be nothing left... Then started the fire up again.

"Why start a fire two times dad?" he asked when he saw the fire started to dance again

"Bane's very... resilient... And the seeds are small... if you don't destroy it all... It grows back...

Surion nodded "I see" he said, his eyes left he flaming bush and looked to watch his father instead

Torvil's face was pensive, then he stopped and let the fire go out.

"You ok dad?" he asked quietly once again playing with the tip of his tail

"Yeah... Just worried we'll find more..." "Your family has had some rather bad run ins with Bane as of late..." Asy added.

"Worried?" Surion bit his bottom lip, his bottom was a lil sore from the sound thump he got from falling but he otherwise felt fine

"Your older brother died of it not all that long ago..." Asy added softly.

"Vin?!" Surion vaguely remembered something happen but he didn't really know /what/ that had been

"Yeah... Another one of your fathers very well executed veil tears..." Asy said.

Surion's gaze went from Asmodeus and his father and back again blinking lots

"He brought him back to life... "Asy said

"I know what it means, granpa told me, I just didn't know he did it with my brother" Surion admitted

Asy chuckled and nodded. "Yeah he did..." Asy sighed. "Was not the best page to get..."

Surion nodded lots "Yeah... I'm glad he is ok" Surion looked at his lap biting his lip

Asy nodded and smiled. "Well shall we erm... head back to the house and snack a bit instead..."

Surion nodded "Ok" he replied, he was rather distracted now

Asy nodded and Torvil moved over to take his hand.

Surion took his father's hand happily

Torvil smiled and started walking back to the house with a smile. "Well aside from that it wasn't all that bad

Surion smiled when the house once again came into view "can I walk now?" he asked

Torvil smiled and let go of his hand. "Alright..."

Surion laughed "I didn't mean you dad I meant him" he looked up at Asmodeus who had yet to put him down

Asy laughed and put him down. "Erm... Sorry... Practice..."

Surion bounced on the balls of his feet "Thankyou" he said with a grin and a giggle

Asy chuckled and bowed his head. "You are most welcome Surion..."

"Snack time!" Surion said with a laugh taking his father's hand once again

Torvil laughed. "AYE!" He smiled and headed down into the house.

Surion followed his father into the house and then into the kitchen sitting down at his seat at the table once they got there

Torvil smiled and started to sort out stuff he looked around. "Surion... Would you like to try something different..."

Surion looked at his dad with a curious expression "Ok dad" with a nod curious what his dad meant

Torvil came out of the fridge with three beers. "Well... There's three of us... and three of these.... Sooooooo...." He said...

Surion "What is that dad?" he asked not entirely sure, he'd seen his dad drink them it eh past but had never inquired

"It's called beer, it's an alcoholic beverage... You might not much like it... But I'd rather not leave the odd one in the fridge if I can manage..."

Surion nodded, he didn't understand that logic, but so be it, he'd try it, didn't mean he'd like it

Torvil nodded and put it down in front of him, it was a canned one, not a bottle. He passed the other to Asy and started to drink his own, busily making something to eat.

Surion picked it up and sniffed it, didn't smell too bad, but then that didn't always mean anything he took a sip and made a face

Torvil chuckled when he caught it as he watched. "You have to get used to it... Keep trying..."

"It tastes weird" he said fidgeting with the can looking at Asmodeus before sipping again and once again making a face

Asy chuckled. "Yeah kid... I know the feeling..." He said, he too was making faces, but drinking anyway...

After about 3 more sips he put the can down and pushed it slightly away from him, he really didn't like the taste, but least his dad couldn't say he didn't try

Torvil chuckled and nodded his head. "Later perhaps..." He chuckled softly, moving to get the beer and then poured it on the meat he cooked. "It might taste a bit better this way... Cause it'll cook all the alcohol out..."

Surion nodded leaning on his elbows "Tastes weird, I don't really like it" he told his father

Torvil nodded. "It does at first... It takes a loooong time to get used to it... Maybe you'd like wine better... I have something else that might be good, but I want to wait a liiiitttle longer before I expose you to it..."

Surion nodded "Juice does me fine for now" he said with a smile watching his father cook

Torvil chuckled and cut up the LARGE steak three ways, and slapped them on the table. They smelled GOOD. Asy sat and smiled.

Surion pulled his closer and took his utensils cutting a small bite off and trying it. He couldn't help but smile, it did taste as good as it smelt

Torvil smiled. "Told ya!" He laughed softly as Asy too ate veraciously. Torvil got up and got Surion a bit of blood to go with his meat, to help wash out the beer.

Surion was soon sitting back in his chair full, there wasn't much of anything left over , he licked his lips "That was good... Dad you seemed scared out there in the forest"

Torvil sighed. "I've had bad run ins with bane, after your brother... I just don't want to go through that stuff again..."

Surion nodded "Well we seem to be ok..." he said looking at himself and then back to his father

Torvil nodded. "I didn't get close enough... And... Well... I don't know... You should have at least been coughing by now... But you seem fine..."

Surion nodded "I don't know what it does all, but if you say so" he blinked and looked towards Asmodeus

Asy was looking him over and he chuckled. "I think your boy lucked out in the gene pool Torvil..." He said with a grin.

Surion scratched his head, these two seemed to like to confuse him

Torvil chuckled softly and sighed. "Bane paralyzes us Surion... All of us... It makes our lungs and heart stop working..." He said softly. "Most can't get within two inches without it affecting... It doesn't seem to affect till you touch..."

"I suppose that's lucky" he mused after thinking about what his father said and nodding slowly

Torvil nodded. "Very..." He said with a smile. "I'm glad you did... Else I'd be forcing some rather vile liquid down your throat right now

Surion made a playful 'ew' face "You already did that" he kidded looking at the beer can on the counter

Torvil laughed. "Oh trust me... it makes beer sweet by comparison..." He brushed his hair and smiled at Asy. "When do you have to be back?" "Another hour or so..." He sighed. "I only signed out for lunch..."

Surion blinked "Back where?" he asked curiously hearing the words

"I have to get back to Kazeha..." He chuckled and tapped the forehead protector.

"Kazeha! I know people there too" he giggled he knew he spoke the obvious but that was ok

Asy chuckled and leaned forwards. "Oh?" He smiled.

Surion nodded "My brother, my sister, my aunty Dia, my aunty Kal, and alll the people they are related to" he giggled, in truth he hadn't met half of his nieces or nephews but he didn't know that

Asy's eyes brightened. "Then call me uncle Asy..." He said with a big grin.

Surion quirked a brow "how come?" he asked curiously it had slipped his mind Asmodeus was married to his god mom

Asy chuckled. "Dia and I are married... And expecting a child too..." He smiled.

"Ooohhh!!" Surion giggled "Uncy Asy" he teased with a giggle, ok now that little bit of alcohol was succeeding in making him giggly

Asy grinned and laughed. He didn't have much of a tolerance either... but he wasn't as giggle. He leaned back and chuckled. "Well I best get home... I have to stop at the gate, cause I can't nether direct anymore... They get mad...

Surion nodded "Okie byeee byeee Uncy!" he said and dissolved into a fit of giggles

Asy laughed and poked his nose, before he closed his eyes and vanished with a strange crystal twinkle sound. Torvil laughed and shook his head. "Okay, maybe the beer was a BADDD idea..." He got up and ruffled Surion's hair.

The ruffling only succeeded in making his giggling worse and he almost fell from his chair

Torvil laughed softly and he picked him up and put him down. "His the restroom and then you're taking a nap..."

Surion giggled and ran off tot he washroom using it and when he exited that room he was dancing and spinning in circles

Torvil shook his head and laughed. "Okay... Keep that boy away from Alcohol for a bit...."

Surion was doing this all the way to his room and was dancing it all in circles in the middle of the room eying the book with each turn

Torvil chuckled and grabbed him, tossing him into bed and picking up the book. "Don't drink and Alchemy..." He chuckled.

Surion giggled and crawled under his blanket and curled up

Torvil brushed his hair and chuckled. "You sleep this off or you'll regret it later... Trust me..."

Surion rather quickly fell asleep

Torvil smiled and kissed his forehead, then got up to finish up the day.

Surion @ the GMFC Clinic

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion pulls open the door of the clinic with his tail, his hands were full, he had a rather large book in his hands open and he was reading it, aloud, sounding out any words he was still trying to get, the hover disc was tucked under his arm near full size

Princess Nagisa

Nagisa walks into the clinic, her newly grown wings folded down over her back, they were half black and half white and she had grown a large spike at the end of her saiyajin tail and from her chest down were all kinds of markings resembling henna tattoos and she noted Surion delved into a book but choose to take a seat in a darkened corner of the clinic, seeming as if she wee avoiding light.

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion stopped, he was standing in the middle of the room trying to sound out a particularly long word, the book was a book of Alchemy after a few tries he sighed and gave up for now closing the book and finally looking around

Princess Nagisa

Nagi stood up and stretched out, her wings out to their 6 foot span and then waves at Surion. ' hey there.. so we meet again." She says, her body bursting into white and black flames as she gave him a friendly smile.

Surion watched her for a moment then smiled "Hello Nagi" he greeted her remembering his friend from their previous encounter

Nagi walked over, nearly tripping on her fancy evening gown as she made her way over to him. " Whatcha reading?" She asked, rather curious and hoping to get her mind off of.. other things.

Surion turned the book so she could read the cover "A book my father gave me to read, it's the book that got me interested in Alchemy... but I'm still not a strong reader"

Princess Nagisa

" Well if you want, I can help you read it... I am a fairly decent reader.. but if you say no, I understand fully." She says, her hand brushing the hair from her now blue-green eyes. " Crap... I am turning human.." She thinks to herself, trying not to panic.

Surion smiled "Dad has read it right through for me, I'm just trying to practice my reading and read it again" he put both hover disc and book atop a chair and sat down in the chair next to it. "I see you have wings now"

Princess Nagisa

" Yeah... and they are a pain too, make my back hurt sometimes.. and they are funny looking.. like they couldn't make up their mind what color they wanted to be.." She says as her tail outright disappears. " I hope he doesn't notice that." She laughs, acting as she normally would and sits on the open chair on his other side. ' So.. do you keep that pendant I gave you in a safe place?" She asks, looking for a conversation topic.

Surion reached into his pocket and pulled out the pendant "Right there" he said and let it dangle by it's chain "Why do you have body parts that like to disappear?" he asked, if nothing else his learning to hunt and becoming a hunter led him to be rather observant

Princess Nagisa

Nagi's laughter abruptly stopped as she made sure nobody else could hear and then started to explain. ' Well.. you see... at certain times in the moon's phases... my body changes.. and tonight is one of those annoying nights a month when I turn.. human.... ugh.." She says as her black hair gives way to red hair and her wings vanish along with her cat like ears and are replaced by human ears and her claws and fangs vanish a few moments later. ' Isn't this.. just.. annoying.. I am totally helpless and weak tonight... but mother says I shouldn't tell anyone about it in fear I will be attacked.. but you are my friend and I trust you will keep my secret?"

Surion blinked "I don't have any reason to tell people, that's not my business to anyways, that'd be like my father telling the details of my first hunt where I earned the respect as a man among my father's people." He told her seriously as he put the pendant in his pocket again. "You don't look helpless to me, just cause you are human tonight doesn't mean you are defenseless"

Princess Nagisa

" Problem is that I can't use my powers at all till sunrise tomorrow.. and with the war going on.." She starts to say then abruptly shuts her mouth, having said too much already.

Alatariel Rakamash

"Well I don't know of any war going on around here... You should be safe around here I think..." he smiled at her his eyes changing color from their blue to a bright emerald green and he looked away from her to his hand, he was still needing to get to his Aunt's place but he had a minor control as he created a small ball of water over the palm of his hand

Princess Nagisa

Nagi watched through her now blue green eyes. "Wow... that's really neat." She said as she toyed with strand of her hair.

Alatariel Rakamash

"It's an ability of my mother's people, to create and control water, I still have to learn a lot. Mum wants me to go see my Aunty Kal. She's a Wisen Apprentice of my mum's pre Dragonic side. That is about the 2nd highest position in their people, only above Wisen would be the goddess, Mum thinks Kal would be a better teacher then someone who learned all by herself" he said making the water go away his eyes returning to normal blue

Princess Nagisa

Nagi nodded, taking in all this information. " My mothers parents and all her family other than my two aunts were killed but that's a story no one would want to really hear. I really hate fighting... I see no point and senselessly slaughtering someone rather than try to work things out civilly.. call me weird but despite my races war like natures.. I much prefer the path of the pacifist." She says with a small sigh, scratching her head where normally her neko ears would be.

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion nodded "War is not fun, I'm glad I've never experienced it" he bit his lip remembering what his uncle had said before his family returned home.

Princess Nagisa

Nagi nodded and placed a hand on his shoulder. " And I am very glad you have never seen the horrors of war... it would take that look of sweet innocence in your eyes away.. and that would make me very sad. You are a really good hearted person, Surion and let no one ever tell you different.. the world needs more people like you..." She says, her eyes getting a bit tear filled.

Surion smiled "Thanks Nagi, I'm glad you think I am" he said with a nod looking at her

Princess Nagisa

Nagi closed her eyes, a single tear falling down her cheek and off her face to the floor, and then she opened her eyes and took a breath and let it out slowly. " You know... I haven't shown you something I like to do." She said and reached into her pack and pulled out a harp and began to play, the song sounding very soothing and mysterious at the same time.

Surion listened leaning on his elbows which were resting on his knees , he'd not seen this instrument before and not only did he like the sound but it intrigued him

Princess Nagisa

Nagi taking a small breath slowly began to sing along with her playing, in the ancient Cerescian tongue, the song one about a fallen hero. Her eyes were still shimmering with unshed tears as she continued to play, wanting to share a piece of her world with her new found friend.

"Very pretty" Surion mused a few minutes later having very much enjoyed the tune

Princess Nagisa

Nagi stopped then smiled at him. " My mother used to sing that very song to me when I was a baby.. I always found it soothing and uplifting when you are feeling down. By the way... this instrument is called a harp.. and you play it by running your fingers over the strings like this." She said, taking his hand and dragging his fingers over the harp.

Alatariel Rakamash

"A harp, I've not seen a harp before" he mused as she moved his fingers across the strings, it's a lot of strings must take much training and practice to learn" he mused

Princess Nagisa

" Best way I can put it is its a lot like riding a bike or learning to walk, its hard at first but once you lean to do it, you never forget." She said with a smile, letting go of his hand and smiling at him. " I figured I'd share this hobby of mine with you since I have asked you things about what your people do and harp playing is a very prominent part of the Cerescian culture, music is a very important part of our lives, as well as most of the royal line are well trained in the art of weapon weaving.. I just choose to take that ability into a less violent direction and do things such as when I made your pendant there. Maybe some day when the fighting stops there, that I can show you my home.. and of course you can bring anyone you like, and I don't doubt a parent would come along.. being that you would be allowed to go.. and I am curious as to what where you live looks like." She says, wiggling her fingers a bit to work the cramps out of them.

Alatariel Rakamash

"Where I live? it's behind a shop in that direction" he points in the general direction of the shop "Outside of town and near a mountain in the forest, where the Balan Levain land is, we find loving homes and caregivers for them, It's not really all that hidden since my home is a house right behind the shop"

Princess Nagisa

" What manner of creature is a Balan Levain? " Nagi said, tilting her head to the side a bit.

Alatariel Rakamash

"It's uhm... well I've never really had to describe them before, kinda like big fluffy... dogs I guess but they have wings" he nodded

Princess Nagisa

" Oh I see. They kind of sound like the Cerebrus my mother raises.. she owns around 40 of them and soon puppies will be born to a young pair of hers.. its fun to play with the babies.. and I would like to see these pets your family finds homes for some time." She smiles then holds her head in her hands and groans a bit.

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion nodded "I don't see why you can't lots of people come to the shop." he paused looking at her "Are you ok?"

Princess Nagisa

Nagi nodded and put her handkerchief to her mouth and coughed hard then hid it in her hand, not happy to see blood in it. " Its just a little headache, nothing to worry your head over." She says, forcing herself to smile and pat his shoulder.

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion gave Nagi a look that clear showed he did not believe her "Nagi, I'm Dragonic, and I'm Vampiric... I can smell blood..."

Princess Nagisa

" I.. don't really know... what it is.. but its nothing for you to worry about. " She said, forcing a smile again after coughing a second time.

Alatariel Rakamash

"First time I met you your knee was bleeding, now you are coughing blood up, you need to see a doctor" he nodded feeling sure of that

Princess Nagisa

Nagi looked absolutely frightened when he mentioned doctors. " God no.. I don't want to end up as a lab specimen.." She said, looking like someone had stripped the color right from her face as it was ashen white from fear. " The knee was from me having crappy aim during training."

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion bit his lip and wish right then and there that his mother was home "Well then, I'll help a little, and if you are still bad when she returns you can see my mum" he nodded touching her arm as his gem lit up

Princess Nagisa

" Surion.... you don't need to constantly weaken yourself over me... eventually the debt is going to bite me in my bum.." She said with a small chuckle.

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion looked at her "Nagi, this is part of what I am, and I don't like to see my friends hurt" after a couple minutes he pulled his hand away and then glanced a the clock and jumped up "I have to go I'm late getting home"

Princess Nagisa

" Oh well.. Oyasumi Surion." She said, giving her friend a quick hug then trudging outside herself and walking outside and sliding to the ground outside the clinic, falling asleep.

Alatariel Rakamash

Surion picked up his book and the disc and headed outside stepping on and heading home, he was in the air and moving away before his friend fell asleep and didn't know that's where she had gone to sleep

Sur goes to the ME&F to find something cool

Surion stuck the disc in his pocket once small and pulled open the door walking slowly in and looking around, he'd never been here before so was taking in the details he saw

Krista had just finished cleaning the counter, she frowns looking at the blue fandangle then the pink one that were hovering around her before shaking her head looking to see what else she could do. She pushed her hair from her face before spotting the child "Greetings welcome to ME&F. What can I do for you today?" she smiles brightly leaning over the counter just alittle.

Surion turned looking towards the voice he heard and smiled "Hi, exploring, browsing.. seeing if there's something interesting to buy" he said with a nod walking towards the counter his tail moving lazily behind him

Krista nods then winks "Well if there is anything you like to look at just let me know okay sweetie.." she smiles turning as she push her hair from her face, the marking over her eye being shown this time as she tries to see what else she might be able to do. It seem when she wasn't working her other co-workers did a great job of keeping things up.

Surion blinked nodding but at the same time his eyes were drawn not to the items around him but the marking, he pushed a lock of hair over his ear thinking, he didn't mean to stare, but it might be taken like that as he was deciding to himself if this lady was related, but then she must be....
Krista glanced back over and smirks "My marking catch your interest?" she shakes her head "I seem to get alot of people wondering about it. So go ahead and ask whatever on your mind." she placed both fandangles that had been following her around all day on the counter before leaning back on the counter looking at him.

"Are you related to Nani?" he asked, he doubted it'd be the question she expected but she did say to ask the question which was on his mind

Krista was indeed shock by that question. She arches a brow then smiles "Well I only know one person by that nickname and that my daughter Tinania if that who your talking about." she laughs alittle standing up looking at the pink fandangle who responded when she said her daughter's name.

Surion nodded "So if Nani is your daughter, that'd make you her mum... now that's cool, I've never met you before" he said grinning his sharp toothed grin

Krista nods then smiles "Yup that would make me her mother. I'm Krista, the mother who is always working as both my daughters put it. So your a friend of my daughter?" she walks from behind the counter before leaning her back against it.

Surion giggled "I'm Surion" he said with a nod "Nani has babysat me since I was a baby" he looked at her but his eyes were also caught interest in some electronics, small things lots of buttons and sorta what to him looked like a mini tv screen

Krista jaw drop alittle "Little Sur? As in Ala's son. Wow you really shot up fast didn't you? Last time I saw you, you were a toddler." she looks to where his eyes were then smirks "Ah someone into electronics. Well you come to the right place then. We got some of the best here. What would you like to look at?"

Surion blushed lightly "Yeah Ala is my mum" he confirmed and moved closer to the display "What is that?" he asked pointing to the one with the many keys and a screen


Krista looked down smiling before walking around back to the other side. Pulling the mini computer out she placed it out on the computer "This is a glitchen, the top of the line computer. This baby can do everything. Surf the net, check email, and send IMs to your friend. In fact Tinania has this very computer. I bought it for her.." she smiles leaning on the counter.

"A computer, Nani has one like this one?" he asked, he was familiar with some technology but not overly with exact use "What's an IM?" he asked

Krista nods then thinks for a moment "IM is short for instant messenger. Its sort of like sending mail only faster. And yes Nani has one just like this. You should ask her to show it to you sometime." she moves it so he can take a better look if he wants to.

He examined it poking at buttons "I wonder if I could keep dad from taking it apart" he mused aloud

Krista smiles "That's the best thing these things can get smaller and you can hide them if you choose. Nani carries her with her everywhere." with a touch of a button the mini computer gets smaller to a pocket size. "See."

Surion blinked it startled him that it was shrinking "Kinda like the disc does" he said pulling the hover disc from his pocket

Krista smiles then laughs "So that where the extra one went. She gave it to you. Yes pretty much everything here can grow small if you want it too." pushing her hair from her face she place the mini computer back under the counter.

Surion giggled "Yeah, she let me use it after I got back from the cliffs..." he went silent for a time then stuck the disc away again and starting digging in his other pocket "How much do those cost?" he asked his fingers playing with the gold he had been saving up to get something cool

Krista picks up a book flipping though it until she comes up with the price "Those are 200 pieces of gold, and from the looks these are also about to retire soon. So you might want to pick one up if you have the money." closing the book she places it back under the counter.

Surion pulled the handful of gold from his pocket looking at it and after a moment starting to count "I think I have enough..." he said

Krista looked over the gold as he counts then nods "Yea looks like you have plenty, so you wanna get one. Nani would be able to help you set up everything.." she pulls a new one out right in the box out from under the counter.

Surion started putting the pieces of gold on the counter finding it tricky to count in his hand without recounting a piece "Yes please" he said half way through counting out pieces, looking up when he finally had put the last piece on the counter

Handing him the box, Krista picked up the gold pieces placing them into the register then smiles "Okay there you go your all done. Now make sure you let it charge before you start using it. That way you don't kill its core so to say."

Surion nodded slowly not knowing what she meant, but he'd ask Nani that one "Thankyou" he said stuffing the change into his pocket and taking the box "It was nice to meet you" he smiled

Krista nods then grabs another rag "Its was a pleasure to meet you Surion. I like to chat longer but I'm sure you have things to do, plus I have to get back to work. Tell your mother Hi for me okay?" she winks then waves to him before turning and heading into the back room of the store.

Surion nodded and smiled "I will thanks" he turned and wandered out of the building pulling the disc out once again returning it to normal size and heading home

Surion arrived home package under one arm, it wasn't exactly obvious what it was, or at least he hoped it wasn't, he stepped off the hover disc and picked that up in his hand shrinking it part way so it wasn't much bigger then a CD and wandered into the house hoping in a sense to slip into his room without his father wanting his hands on the hover disc as usual

Torvil was on the couch, tearing apart a home computer tower, taking it apart piece by piece, slowly but surely. He smiled when he saw Surion. "Middle of a project, don't worry about the disc..." He chuckled softly.

Surion stared at his fathers 'project' somehow he doubted that computer would work 100% properly again once his father was done the way he was currently trying to yank out the hard disc. he held his package a lil tighter sure his new computer was a computer, but it was also like a laptop, and his observations were his father wanting to take apart any and all new technology pieces he saw

Torvil grumbled and pulled out the screwdriver again. "Bloody crazies think FIFTEEN DAMN screws will do the job of four..." He grumbled as he went about unscrewing the hard drive so he wouldn't TOTALLY mangle it...

"Well I don't think they intended for someone to yank it apart" he said standing and watching his father, he was glad the disc didn't seem to have any visible screws

Torvil muttered something VERY profane... Dealing with weasels... I don't think you'd want to hear it... good... "Surion... I'm sure they didn't... But right now I'm learning... If I destroy one or two in the process... That's what happens... Granted... I'm not doing the best of jobs... And you'll always kick my butt when it comes to technology... But what counts is that I'm trying..."

Surion nodded "I was born into an area that uses technology so I think that probably helps, and yes I know you are trying..."

Torvil smiled. "I know Surion... I know... that's why I'm doing this..." He chuckled softly and got the drive out. "There..." He chuckled softly.

Surion looked at it then the frame and bit his lip to keep from laughing, the framework it came from wasn't exactly 'straight' anymore and Torvil's strength was evident on the drive itself.

Torvil grunted at the drive and sighed tossing it on the couch. "I'll have to go out and get another..." He grunted and looked at it. "Oh well... What's another 2500 gold right?"

Surion chuckled "Dad you are silly" his tail moved lazily behind him

Torvil chuckled. "Yeah... I can be... Hey Surion... can you do me a favor..."

"What dad?" Surion asked his eyes leaving the drive and returning to his father

"I need you to go pick me up some comp stuff..." He chuckled weakly. "Most of it's in Barton... I've still got to dismantle this one... They shouldn't be too heavy... and I'll give you the gold to do it, and the list..."

Surion nodded "Ok I can do that" he agreed and nodded his head

Torvil smiled and got up, grabbing the gold and the list. "If you find something cheaper and the same quality... get it and use the extra for something for you..." He chuckled giving Surion the bag and list.

Surion nodded and took it pocketing the list, he intended to go get a shoulder bag before he left to carry the rest of it,

Torvil smiled and ruffled his hair. "Some of that stuff is for Alchemy too..." He grinned.

Surion grinned, now THAT he was interested in "Cool" he said his tail moving excitedly as he looked up at his father

Torvil smiled and reached the last item on the list and checked it with a red marker. "This one... You're going to have a little trouble getting..." He murmured softly. "But tell him your dad sent you and he should give it to you... It's a little place under a building in an alley... Try to be careful, your mum might get a bit irked with me if you got mugged..."

Surion nodded looking curiously at the list hearing his father's words

Torvil chuckled. "Its' the blood vendor..."

"Mmmm sounds like a yummy place" he giggled

Torvil chuckled. "Yeah... But erm... placed in a seedier area of town... I'm apprehensive of letting you go there by yourself... but I think you can handle it..." He smiled.

Surion looked at him for a moment, apprehensive yet he had killed a dire jaguar, his father made no sense at times "I'll just be careful" he said simply

Torvil smiled. "Good idea... Some of the people in that area are a bit tougher than beasts..." He murmured. "But enough... Off with ya... Light's fadin..."

Surion nodded and hurried to his room grabbing a bag and putting it over his shoulder and putting his package in it before heading for the house's front door

Torvil was back to taking the comp apart... A LOT more careful this time.

Surion peeked in the living room door on his way past pressing the button that grew the disc as he did

Torvil jumped. "s**t! Almost forgot!" random vile swears issued from Torvil's mouth as he hopped over the back of the couch and towards the bookshelf.

Surion jumped not expecting his father's sudden outburst stopping mid-step eyes wide as he gripped the disc

Torvil was quickly looking and then nabbed a HUGE book of the shelf. "Almost forgot..." He grunted and brought the book over to Surion. "I need you to give this to Nani..." He laughed weakly.

Surion stared at it before taking it "Oof, It's huge dad! what is it??"

Torvil chuckled. "The latest book on healing and herbology..." He laughed weakly. "I finished it again yesterday, figured I'd give it to Nani..."

Surion nodded "Ok, I think I'll have to stop there first there's no way I can get the shopping AND carry this, 'sides she's on the way there"

Torvil nodded. "Yeah..." He said, scratching his head. "I'd of delivered it myself... but erm... I don't know where it is..." He laughed weakly.

Surion giggled "It's kinda like Kazeha is" he said and shifted the weight of the book "I better go or I might drop this"

Torvil chuckled weakly. "Well that's just dandy... Well if you could ask Nani or her mum to give me the address I can stop using you as my pack mule..." He chuckled. "Now get going..." He chuckled.

Surion laughed and hurried out the door holding the book in both arms as he 'dropped' the disc and stepped off heading off towards the Emerald Haven

Torvil smiled and watched him leave. "One day I NEED to get that address..." He sighed and then walked towards the comp again
