Day One
I'm guessing she's a little angry to say the least. But I swear it wasn't my fault. What trouble this is. Well, even though it's been two years since I actually stepped foot in the Hidden Leaf I'm already being sent out again funny huh. Today was kinda dull, Zanzu was making commotion as always, but I don't even want to know what was going on in that cart. I spent the day listening to Renka snoring. Not the most ladylike noble is she.
Day Two
We would be reaching the border today. I made sure my ninja-to was sharp, and wrapped fresh tape around my hands. She was still giving me the occasional glare. Buildings soon came in to view, it wasn't our destination, but it was a sure sign.

"Well this may end up being an easy mission after all." Akira called out from the top of his cart. He closed his eyes and listened to the sound of the wind blowing. The man leading the caravan simply gave a hmph like noise.

Tyson turned around and looked at Akira, "And here I thought team leaders were supposed to be smart, we're shinobi, in our line of work it's never that easy."

Geez, the attitude problem with this guy. Zanzu wasn't kidding, when he talked about him over dinner. Reminds me a little of how I started out, and how Zanzu became. Akira yelled back at Tyson calmly, "Oi, if there's no Atari it's useless to be overly dramatic of you'll lose all your territory. Oh...shi." Akira's eyes widened as a kunai with an explosive note attached landed by his head. Two more whizzed for Zanzu and Tyson's respective carts.
Objective: So much for no Atari.
Speed + Defense + 8-sided Dice = Total Successes to Avoid Attack
**18 or More Successes Needed
**17 or Less = Failure
**If a 1 is rolled = Dramatic Failure in Evading**
or
Power + Defense + 8-sided Dice = Total Successes to Parry Attack

"Che, tried to tell ya it wouldn't be that easy."Tyson muttered as he turned towards the kunai coming at him sending another back at it.
His kunai skimmed the one coming at the cart, causing it to tilt and land by his foot almost ready to blow, "Ah ******** Fail

BOOM!
The sounds of the explosions filled the air as all three carts felt the full impact of the explosive notes. Wood, ninja, and civilians flew everywhere landing on their backs. Akira landed on his feet still dazed from the shock of the blast he noticed Renka and the others they were hired to protect unconscious. "Damn, everyone get ready to defend the hassles."

Zanzu who had decided it was a good time to take a nap had suddenly been awoken as the explosion knocked him clear out of the kart. Huh...what the...figures, i finally decide to sleep and this is the crap that happens. They couldn't wait a hour or two...noooo, had to attack now. He slowly stood to his feet and took a loud addable sigh.
((Holy sheeet i liiiive...god life sucks when you're working nonstop.))

"Have you ever wondered why our easiest missions involve one of us dying?" Akira called out to Zanzu as a clasp of thunder filled the air. Akira's eyes widened as a young kunoichi appeared over the rubble of the the caravan. She had azure hair with a bang covering her left eye. She didn't have a forehead protector on her body, but her uniform was reminiscent of the Hidden Grass's Jounin Uniform. Though oddly enough she seemed to be wearing heels and stockings. Behind her horn rimmed glasses one could see crimson red pupils glaring with rage. "What a bloody failure, I cannot believe I failed to eliminate the girl in one pass." She noted digging her heels into Renka's back.

"Because people can't get the mission difficulty right, they say its a D ranked mission but then it turns out being a A ranked mission, honestly you'd think the village would do background checks on these people before signing away to be their slaves."
Zanzu caught glimpse of the girl just as the heel of her shoe was digging into the back of Renka. "You'd be wise to finish us off before you harm her any further...It's three versus one and you could use all the help you could get, we won't be able to hold back if you finish her off..." What a shitty situation...we can't make a move like this, theres no way we'd get there before Renka is killed.

"You're quite confident, I like that. However, you would be nothing better than a great big git if you think you'd be any more successful with both her and I dead. But I don't mean to go on flogging a dead horse. I've got a job to do." A large ball of fire shot forth from the rubble moving rapidly towards the kunoichi who jumped to the side to avoid. "I didn't spot another shinobi in the caravan."

Akira smiled. "Omoshimori. I was really hoping that wouldn't have missed. Seems we still have the devil's luck." Smoke flew out from the rubble as Ranmaru poofed. Guess he was counting on it hitting too Akira leaned forward prepared to charge after the kunoichi, but waiting for a better moment to strike.

"Oi! Akira, I wonder if luck is flowing with me or against me this day...Though I guess technically its always with me since I've somehow managed to live through so much up till now." Zanzu laughed lightly as he slid his legs apart then crouched down, one hand on the ground while the other grabbed the hilt of his blade strapped to his back.
"Either way, I pray that shes as strong as she claims to be, these little C ranked missions havn't been giving me any challenge in a long time, my bones are aching for the old days before i grew soft." He smiled, his eyes staying on the Kunoichi which seemed to be fairly confident in herself, if not then arrogant, though his mind focused entirely on the old days when the Akatsuki would constantly be fighting with them every mission.

"******** that hurt," Tyson muttered as he stood up pulling a few of the larger splinters out of his body. God, if low levels turn out this hard how the hell am I supposed to survive? I mean I know I'm on the demon team but still. Ohwell I'm the only one thats not a demon host, so I guess that means I'll have to learn how to fight as if I was.

The Kunoichi locked eyes with all three of the shinobi making sure to take note of certain things. "I guess we're in for a real crab battle Akira?" She called out in Zanzu's voice. "Whatever, all you need is a strategy and she'll go down." She continued in Akira's voice. "Aca, get ready!" She finished in Tyson's voice. "Well enough of that, I suppose it's time to get physical." Quickly she tossed three more kunai, each going to a respective target.

Zanzu quickly drew his blade, just as the kunai came into his reach he used the flat end of the blade to almost catch the kunai taking no more than a quick flick of his wrist to change the direction far off into the middle of the forest.
Zanzu began to sheath his sword once more but left his hand on the handle as he retorted, "So you've watched us a little bit and took a few lessons to mimic other people's voices. That doesn't mean you know everything about us." That doesn't make it any less creepy though...something is off with this one, she isn't all there in the head... Zanzu thought as a shiver ran down his spine at the thought of her copying them fairly well yet with a fairly sarcastic ring to her voice.
((Yeah, Akira doesn't have any demon abilities which would make it blatantly obvious that he has a demon and on top of that fact I'm fairly sure its still a top secret folder hidden in the hokage's desk so to speak. he only had that one incident and they definitely wouldn't want that to get lose...))

((I don't know call it a lucky guess, or an assumption. He simply assumed that Akira was one due to the fact they were the only two to survive all the high level s**t their team went through and still be part of the team.
Now on to a question these new kunai are we supposed to roll to see if we dodge and if so is it same difficulty as before?))
