"i was taken from sancton." Pent frowned. "i can;t rember why i was struggling at first, i don;t think i understood. i was able to get some of my friends free while we were being taken...i shouldn;t have. they would have seen the light..." he closed his eyes and sighed.

Yori shook his head and punched Pent as hard as he could, though it wasn't very hard. "LIAR! YOU"RE LYING!" He shouted punching him again.

Pent maoned weakly. "What would be the point to lie to criminals like you who will soon have their judgement day?" he grinned, his head staying in the position Yori punched it into. he didn't open his eyes.

"Verdan...?" hs picked up the name. "Verdan the vengeful...had a nasty temper...they all said..." Pent grinned. "i wondered why they always said that...i still remember it....though i can;t remember much from those days..."

Yori smiled as he was lost in his past. "Me and V would steal bedsheets and tie them around our necks; acting like we were superheros. V always got me in troubles. He would always volunteer to get the beating first." Yoris eyes began to water. " He would would come out the room wiping the blood off his nose and tell me to be strong. He was the only reason why I was able to stay alive in the hell."

"at the orphanage there was this stupid bratty kid always following me around who i always fended for...the stupid kid couldn't defend himself to save his head...i don't remember his name...i can;t remember much..." he sighed. "it always seems so trivial compared to my true calling..."

"an impossible task...i am a wiser being i can't be some troublesome child anymore." he wondered how his old friend would react if he saw the numeroud scars grafted into Pent's body. there were some visible on his neck but hs high collar always hid them. barely any of his body was left unscatched by markings.

Yori hit Pent over and over again until some one pulled him up from above. He was blinded for a few seconds, but once he saw the exit, he bolted to the door. Ignoring the questions the men asked him and pushing the medic out of his way.

Pent remained on the ground, his face red from being hit so many times. he didn't have the strength to get up.
