To be honest, over two-thirds of the total number of entries were already winning pieces in my mind. But of course I had to choose only the best few with the given criteria and bits of subtle hints mentioned in the contest rules (reading and analyzing everything written down is a big help.

For judging, basically I looked at the 100k budget first, and then the color & item harmony, then the design (if they read what I like with my avatars, the simplicity and taste.)
