~*~Personal~*~ Name (Or something other than Gaia nickname?): Krystal (real name)
Birthday: August 20, 1986
Country your currently residing in: USA
Is there anyone special in your life? (And I don't mean your mother.): My Husband
Siblings?: 2 sisters; one who is 6 years older than me and one who is 11 years younge
Pets?: 4 cats; 2 long hair tabbys, 1 short hair tabby, and 1 short hair calico
Mentor?: J.R.R. Tolkien, and my high school creative writing treacher Mr. Jepperson
Religion?: LDS (Mormon)
Favorite Quote: "I'm not concerned about all hell breaking loose, but that a PART of hell will break loose... it'll be much harder to detect." ~George Carlin
Favorite Band: Lonestar
Favorite Movie: Star Wars IV-VI, LOTR I-III, Seven Bride for Seven Brothers
~*~Pro-Life~*~ Why are you Pro-Life? (Were you adopted, know anyone who had an abortion, etc.): Every baby has a right to a fruitful life, or at least the chance of one. No one should be able to be compliant into a God complex, to create something and destroy it in one breath. That child did not ask to be concieved, why should it suffer because the people who concieved it decide they don't want it.
What about physical health to the mother?: My opinion is, IF the mother's life is meant to end by giving birth to a child, then she's lived her life and the child will have a chance at life. And if she is not meant to die by giving life to a child then she won't.
Rape?: It is not the child's fault for what happened to the mother. And the child is half the mother's creation as well. The child has every right to life as the mother does.
Views on the Death Penalty?: No one should have the right to take another person's life under any circumstance, save self defense. Life is too precious to simply be taken away.
Are you vegetarian?: No.
Vegan?: No.
Are there another ways you're pro-life?: Every life has a purpose, every life lives and dies for a reason. Every life has a right to life even if it is only to fulfill that purpose and nothing else.
~*~Lastly~*~ I don't know anyone in the guild as of yet, however obviously we all agree on at least one thing. So, I think we're all fairly intelligent beings. 4laugh

(And I don't mean your mother.): my Grandparents (love you, Grandma and Grandpa! ^^) Siblings?: 1 older brother Pets?: none Mentor?: My Grandparents Religion?: Christian and proud of it! Favorite Quote: "Life's not about expecting, hoping, and wishing, it's about doing, being, and becomming.
It's about the choices you've just made, and the one's your about to make, it's about the things you choose to say - today.
It's about what you're gonna do after you finish reading this." ~ Mike Dooley Favorite Band: The Beatles Favorite Movie: Spirited Away, Aquamaine
~*~Pro-Life~*~ Why are you Pro-Life? (Were you adopted, know anyone who had an abortion, etc.): every baby has rights to a life. The child didn't ask for you to have it, why should they have to suffer? What about physical health to the mother?: The mother can get many illnesses from abortion. They might not all come the next morning, but, eventually, they will come. Rape?: It's not the baby's fault what happened to the mother, why should they be treated like it was? Views on the Death Penalty?: it's murder (just because the baby hasn't come out yet doesn't mean it won't die), so, yes. Death Penalty if necessary. Are you vegetarian?: no Vegan?: no Are there another ways you're pro-life?: I support Prolife in everyway I can. Every baby has a right to life, and everything (life, death, animals rampaging through the zoo ^^) happens for a reason.
~*~Lastly~*~ Don't really know anyone in this guild yet, but I know that we are all here for one purpose: Prolife. We might not look the same, but we are here because we all care. 3nodding

Do you murder people because you don't want to be around them? I thought not. What about physical health to the mother?: If you were meant to die giving birth, then you will. If you were meant to live, then you will. Rape?: One word: adoption. Views on the Death Penalty?: I am vehemently opposed. Are you vegetarian?: nah Vegan?: nope Are there another ways you're pro-life?: I believe that every life has a reason and a purpose in life.

Hello, my name is Ivana, I was just invited to this guild today. I had no clue there was a guild for us pro-lifers, how exciting. But yes I believe abortion is wrong except in the case of an ectopic(tube) pregnancy, in which case it is not the mother's choice to abort, and she must do so only to save her life. But in cases of rape and "oops, I am pregnant and don't want it", I think abortion is murder.
I am 19, I live in California...I go to Cal Poly Pomona University where I am a psychology major. Yeah I think that's it.

Okay, I better introduce myself now... after having lurked on this guild for two days... Call me DeLaFere, which isn't my real name, but that's ok.
I'm 17... almost, my birthday is August 28. smile I'm homeschooled, as are my 8 brothers and sisters...I'm the oldest. Around here, we are reaaaally pro-baby. LOL! I am a Christian as well. My favorite quote? I don't know, my favorite is way too long to quote because it's the poem "If" by Rudyard Kipling. But I like the quote in my signature, too... from Shakespeare... My views? I believe abortion is wrong, of course... why? Because... for one thing, it's manslaughter of an innocent human being. For another, it's pure selfishness. Anyone who would kill because their baby is inconvenient... and no, pro-choicers, it's not a case of "the fetus using your body without your consent". (I got flamed for arguing that point on the Abortion Debate thread. )..... back to my sentence... has to be a selfish person, and that's an understatement.
I'm not sure what else to put here... I don't think I know anybody except Ivana... wink

Name: Goat works, people call me that sometimes Birthday: August of 1980 (i'm ooooooooooooold) Country your currently residing in: the US of freakin A baby biggrin Is there anyone special in your life?: Yes, a girlfriend of a year. Siblings?: younger brother and sister Pets?: a cat Mentor?: lots of people at college and at home. Too many to mention. CS Lewis, Behe, and Plato for philosophers of old. Religion?: Christian (fundamentalist, but NOT the bad kind, aka legalisim. If you're interested i'll explain, but trust me, i'm not a wack job) Favorite Quote: Change the world or change yourself. (unknown author) Favorite Band: In Flames. Favorite Movie: the LOTR trilogy
~*~Pro-Life~*~ Why are you Pro-Life?: My sister was born 3 monts early and survived (this was in the 80's mind you) It just never made sense to me how they were fighting to save the lives of children her age on one side of the hospital, and killing them on another. What about physical health to the mother?: I think the physician should always seek to preserve life, and in most situations, it's very clear who has a better chance of survival. It depends on the circumstances basicly, and the opinion of the family should definatly factor in as it would in any case of life and death. Rape?: I honestly don't know. Too difficult to decide. But i definatly feel the punshiment for rape is FAR to lenient, and we need to take whatever steps necessary to keep this from even becoming an issue to begin with. Views on the Death Penalty?: Don't care honestly. I think that's up to the popular vote and whatever is best for the country inparticular. It's important to note that i don't see how this has to do with abortion since we're talking about someone making a decision that puts them under the punishment of the law, where as in an abortion situation, someone is dying that isn't even capable of performing an action at all. Are you vegetarian?: HELL no, i'm more like a meatatarian.
~*~Lastly~*~ Say something positive about someone in this Guild: Um, kudos to whoever invited me, and to King_Seth for making me aware of some of the. finer points of posting around here. Say something positive about someone in the Pro-Choice Guild- Never been there, but i did have a very good debate with someone in the ED topic the other day that was pro choice, and managed to defend themselves without the usual obligitory name calling. It was quite refreshing. DamagedSpoon was her name.. i think.

~*~Personal~*~ Name (Or something other than Gaia nickname?): Mike Birthday: December 29 Country your currently residing in: U.S.A Home Address and Phone Number (I'm kidding, don't actually answer this.) Haha... Is there anyone special in your life? (And I don't mean your mother.): Not so far... Siblings?: Eight. Five brothers, three sisters. I make nine. Pets?: Two dogs. A bird, and a cat. 9 chickens. Mentor?: (?) Religion?: Catholic Favorite Quote: "You can have kids without kissing." Favorite Band: Not sure. Favorite Movie: The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. The Chronicles of narnia: Lion, Witch, and the Wardrode.
~*~Pro-Life~*~ Why are you Pro-Life? I'm pro-life because I believe that every fetus has the right to life. Whether it be a bad life or a wonderful life, it should stille be able to experience it, and be able to live. What about physical health to the mother?: It's kind of weird. My mother had nine children and with four of them, their was said a high chance of death, but she didn't care. And today, all of those children, and her, are alive and healthy. Rape?: Absolutely not. Just because the baby is caused by rape, doesn't make the actual child any different. Views on the Death Penalty?: I haven't really decided on the death penalty yet, so i'm not sure. Are you vegetarian?: No. Vegan?: No. Are there another ways you're pro-life?: My religion?

Hey, I am "Rage of Achilles", named after the famous introduction to the Iliad. "Sing, O' Muse, sing of the rage of Achilles, of Peleus' son Achilles, murderous, doomed, sing of the rage that cost the Achaeans countless losses, hurling into Hades' Dark House so many sturdy souls, great fighters' souls, heroes' souls, but also made their bodies carrion, feasts for the dogs and birds, even as Zeus's will was done. Begin, O Muse, when the two first argued and clashed, the Greek king Agamemnon, lord of men, and the brilliant, godlike Achilles..."
I have always been pro-life except in the case of rape, but I recently changed to pro-life in all cases. Yes, I am a Christian, but I fell that me being a Christian has no effect on my choice of being pro-life, because I would be pro-life either way. I was lurking around Gaia, where I saw a girl's signature decked out in Pro-Choice Guild's buttons and such, I clicked and read about their operation black fetus, thus, I searched to see if there was a pro-life guild, and here I am.
Currently, I am a student at Baylor University, and my Major is Biomechanical Engineering.

Welcome! Great place to get your name from. 3nodding
And great signature too. Sadly, I never read many comics, because my parents were stingy. crying Not really, but comics were too expensive, and I prefered to spend my allowance on Pokemon cards and video games. biggrin But I'm making up for it now!

(I joined a few months ago, just never got around to doing this..) ~*~Personal~*~ Name: Aubs. Birthday: July 8th, 1991 Country your currently residing in: America Is there anyone special in your life? (And I don't mean your mother.): My boyfriend, Panda. Siblings?: 1 younger sister. Pets?: My cat, Trinket. Lizard, Ivy. Parrot, and fish. Mentor?: Teacher. Mr. Seipt Religion?: Wiccan, thanks. Favorite Quote: "Apire not to have more, but to be more" Favorite Band: Bush. No, not the president. The british grunge band. Favorite Movie: Boondock Saints, Fast and the Furious, Life As A House.
~*~Pro-Life~*~ Why are you Pro-Life? (Were you adopted, know anyone who had an abortion, etc.): Well, being Wiccan, I follow the number one rule. "Harm none and do as you will." However I was pro life long before I found my faith. I believe that no matter what, you should not harm a living thing. Especially a baby who has not even had the oppurtunity to live. I could go into more detail, but it owuld turn into a rant. What about physical health to the mother?: There is not one reason why the mother should need an abortion to stay healthy. Abortion, in itself, will cause more complications. Rape?: If the rapist/father does not recieve the death penalty for raping the woman, why should the baby? It has not done anything. It is innocent. Less than 1% of women who get raped get pregnant. 13,000 a year. Rape is hardly an argument against morals. Views on the Death Penalty?: I'm not sure. I haven't really decided. I don't like the idea. Are you vegetarian?: yes. Vegan?: no Are there another ways you're pro-life?: Besides my religion? I dont understand this. xD So I'll answer to the best of my knowledge. I do sidewalk councelling, I attend rallies, marches, protests, etc.
whoo hoo.
