Aiko stumbled and caught himself on the wall as someone bumped into him and he turned to look at whoever it was, immediatly he backed up and ducked his head down, he had not expected one of his kind to ever show up here. He averted his eyes from the priest so as not to contaminate him, as many of their people believed he would.

Fay brought his hands up instinctively in a protective gesture. He now understood the words of the man at the gate. He had been speaking of the Dark One.

Aiko's stomach tightened with anxiety and sorrow at the gesture. He kept his eyes down, pressing against the wall until he was permitted to leave the others prescense or until Fay left.

Elane watched warily. She flew up to about shoulder height of Aiko. She was confused. "What the hell?" She never really understood big people. They were so complicated. She didn't understand anything about their world. Only her own, which still lay in the darkness of her memory.

Fay glanced at the small fairy then back at Aiko. He stepped away from the two, still in the habit's of his people. He was never to speak to other's unless he absolutly had to. He walked down the hall, still in search of the dorms.

Aiko slumped against the wall and crossed his arms around his chest. Sharu, who had hidden behind a curtain as soon as he saw Fay came out and walked over, standing up and placeing his front paws on Aiko's shins, crooning with distress. Aiko reached down and lifted Sharu up, needing the comfort of his familier. "Shh, we're okay." he whispered to his friend and than glanced up at Elene. "Sorry."

Markas steped out of the Mythology class and headed to the gardens for some fresh air. "Now which way to the gardens?" he asked to no one in particular.

She was still confused. People were...evil...yes. Good theory. "What was that 'bout?" She inquired softly, her eyes fallowing them as she moved over to the wall. THough they were dangerous, big people were interesting.

Aiko shrugged and Sharu rubbed his cheek against Aiko's. "My people don't like me, he's from my tribe, they arnt permitted to talk to me, or look at me really." he said. His people were very social, depending on touch to really much of what they were feeling, being cut off from them was a terrible blow, especially when he had done nothing to deserve it.

She nodded slightly. Elane couldn't sympathize, truely. "Oh. " That was all she could say. She didn't dare ask anyhting else. What someone holds private is theirs to choose. "That's too bad. I think you're nice." Well, at least a lot nicer than the majority of the people she had to deal with since the past year.

He smiled a little. "Thanks." he said and straitened, he had never really felt his burden so strongly as just than, ever since the day he had been exiled he hadnt seen one of his people and had been able to deal with their scorn easily. "I guess I should take you to the dormatory now." he added.

"Yeah..." She was probably in a better position than him. Best to get out of his hair. Elane felt a surge of lonliness but kept it to herself. "That'd help me..." Do what? Have nightmares about unfamilar people? No, she was talking in general. What she should say; 'That would help me'.

He started walking, it was nice talking to someone about his curse, even a small amount and he appricated her listening to him. "I'm sure your tired, thanks for talking to me." he said, absently strokeing Sharu as he moved slowly so she could follow at her own pace, he didnt mind.

"No problem! I like listening. I don't really see people all that often and I can't remember stuff before last year, ya know? I 'spose you don't...But yeah, I like to listen," She fallowed behind at a little less than a walking pace even though she was flying. Her green orbs wandered the scene, eventually leading back to Aiko and Sharu.
