Durithill and Shadow gave each other a questioning glance. "You want... my help?" Shadow asked in slight confusion. "Well I'll help in any way I can. It's the least I can do." "As long as it doesn't involve going to the Realm of Light, eh?" Durithill said with a laugh, elbowing Shadow, even though his elbow just passed through his pet.

Now you're gone, I realized my love for you was strong..."Well, yes. I do intend on travelling to the Realm of Shadow next." She said with a smile. Her slouached posture was now upright and her hands were seated gently in her lap. By merely seeing Durithill-- even if he was basically an illusion-- it just proved that her progress with collecting the scattered items was going well. After all, she could sit and speak with him now, that was an accomplishment in itself.
"I won't be able to go there on my own, I wouldn't be able to see where I was going, you know." A small chuckle passed the woman's lips and the smile remained.
"Don't worry, you won't be going to the Realm of Light. If I go there, it will be on my own."--And I miss you now that you're gone.

"Ah, so you need a pair of eyes to peirce the darkness of the Realm of Dark for you?" Shadow said with a small laugh. "Well we can do you one better then just having Shadow tag along." Durithill said with a mischievious grin. "You don't mean-" "Sure do." Durithill said with a nod. "Of course, Raithill can see anyway because of the power that runs through our blood. For you though, Raine, Shadow can perfom a special technique where he basically melds with your body for a short time. You'll get the ability to see though any darkness, and get the power to wield it for yourself if he's feeling especially charitable." he explained. Shadow sighed. "I hate doing that..." he groaned. "Suck it up." Durithill said with a laugh. "Raine, come back tomorrow morning and he'll bond with you. No sense doing it now since it'll make you both uncomfortable and you're just going to sleep anyway."

Even an angel can end up falling, don't you cry because you're crawling...Raine smiled shyly as a light flush came to her face. Normally she didn't like asking one for favors, but she desperately needed this one. Yes, Raithill could wield the power of darkness as well, but what if it wasn't developed enough? Raine had her doubts for certain reasons, and is Shadow didn't mind assisting her, then the help would be greatly appreciated.
Shiero smiled a bit, for she didn't want to force Shadow into doing anything, and she really had no say in the matter. Rather than commenting, she sat quietly. After all, she was tired from previous endeavors that took place throughout the day previous.
Nodding to Durithill--or what was his illusion-- as if on cue, a bit of a yawn escaped the woman's lips. She excused herself and stood with a gentle goodnight. It was good to know that she could communicate with him, at least get used to the feeling of him being around again, but then again... His presence never seemed to leave, which was both painful and soothing at the same time.
So with that, Raine entered her home and headed up to bed. She stumbled and nearly tripped a couple times from fatigue, but she eventually made it to the comfort of her bed and collapsed into it. Pulling the covers up over her, a sigh escaped her lips and soon she quickly drifted to sleep with a smile on her face which was rare as of late.--Start again it's a beautiful morning for satellites.

"Good night Raine." Durithill said with a gentle smile as she got up and left to rest for the night. Durithill continued smiling until he saw the door shut in the distance, then his smile faded. "I shouldn't have asked her to do this." he muttered to Shadow. "Well who else were you going to ask?" Shadow replied with a bit of a laugh. "It's not like you could ask Raithill. And the other inhabitants of this Realm are too far for you to contact, are they not?" "Still..." Durithill muttered, watching the silent cabnet. His form was slowly starting to fade, for the lighter was now far enough away that the power it lent him was negligable. "She's strong, that's for sure. Stronger even then she knows. But those items are still putting a huge stress on her." Both Shadow and Durithill were silent for a moment, then Shadow sighed and turned to leave on whatever nightly patrol he performed. "I'll see if I can get her to leave any of it behind, but you know her." he said before vanishing into the darkness. "Yes..." Durithill replied to the empty air as his form vanished as well. "I know her..."

Even an angel can end up falling, don't you cry because you're crawling... Her sleep was soundless. She slept deep and well. By morning, she would be plenty revitalized. Though when morning came, she did eventually awaken, though it was later then usual... Around ten thirty or so.
The late morning sun streaked through the translucent curtains and onto her face. The morning air blew the material hanging in front of the window about. Though the breeze was not cold, it was enough to awaken her from her slumber. Upon awakening, the female rolled over onto her stomach from her back and sighed lightly. She didn't necessarily want to get up, but she needed to. She was in a hazy state, still unsure if she was awake or not, but when she mumbled Durithill's name and no response was heard, she knew it was reality.
Within a few minutes, Raine crawled out of bed and glanced towards her son's bed to see if he was awake or not. Either way, she needed to make breakfast of some sort, even if it was something quick and easy... No doubt Raithill wanted to go out and adventure about again.--Start again it's a beautiful morning for satellites.

Raithill was still sound asleep in his bed, the sheets twisted around him in such a way that it seemed physicaly impossible. A line of dry drool ran down his cheek from his open mouth. The sunlight shone gently on his young, innocent face. Perhaps it was better that Raithill was asleep for now, for, for whatever reason, Shadow seemed to disappear when Raithill approached. A phenomina not yet explained. The adventure the other day had obviously worn him out, for he was usually wide awake by now. Suddenly the dull muted voices of the lighter echoed faintly throught Raine's mind again, though the words and images were still unclear.
((I'd like you to post at least once in the Demonic Realm before we continue there, if you would.))

Even an angel can end up falling, don't you cry because you're crawling...Pausing to see her son still lying soundless in bed, Raine smiled softly to herself before stretching a bit which was followed by the rolling of her shoulders. She felt a bit numb from laying down for such a long period of time and she wasn't about to begin counting the hours she was asleep for.
Proceeding across the room quietly, her bare feel made hardly a sound. The ground was awkwardly cold which made her shiver and cringe the slightest bit, but she pushed it aside and continued towards the door in which was shut tightly behind her when she exited the room and descended down the short staircase. Sighing lightly as she stepped onto the main floor, Shiero felt a bit dizzy and reached for a chair to steady herself. She had forgotten about the voice--or rather, memories--that played in her mind from the lighter she acquired. Raine was used to the short amount of peace and quiet she had only the night before, but waking up in the morning and suddenly hearing more then just silence confused her some. However, she endured it and regained her balance quickly and proceeded towards the door in which she would open to allow sunlight and the morning breeze to enter the cottage.--Start again it's a beautiful morning for satellites.

Shadow, the beast of night which for some unknown reason followed Durithill, was waiting patiently beneath the statue of his master. He'd returned a few hours ago, since Riane usualy woke much earlier then she apparently did, and he'd been waiting there since. "You sure slept soundly, didn't you?" he said with a small laugh as she approached. He stood up on all fours and streched, circled himself a few times, then sat on his hindquarters. "A few things before we begin. Since I'm going to be sharing your body for a while, I'd rather not have you carry around all those items." he said, nodding his head at them. "You'll have to leave at least the katana if you want me to help you. As a beast of shadow, I don't exactly like fire a whole lot. Oh, and I'd prefer if you left the lighter behind too. I don't want you accidenly reading my mind or something." he said in an authoritative voice. Truthfully, he didn't mind her carrying them. But this was the only way he could think of to get her to leave them behind like Durithill had asked him to the night before.

Even a angel can end up falling, don't you cry because you're crawling...As Raine entered into the sunlight, she inhaled deeply and closed her eyes. The warmth felt good upon her skin and made her truly tranquil. Her eyes, however, fluttered open from Shadow's statement, and the female smile in return before approaching the shadow creature.
Shiero's brows arched into a concerned expression at the question Shadow offered her. Leave the items here? Would they really be safe though? Sure, they'd remain here with Durithill, right? But he wasn't physical as of yet. An illusion if you will.
"Is that... Really such a good idea?" She parried before folding her arms beneath her chest, an action she normally took when she wasn't sure about something such as this request. Though if she left a few of them behind, the weight would lift off her body greatly. Take the lighter for an example. If that was left behind, then she would be able to concentrate much easier without the thoughts and memories of her departed beloved clouding her mind. But then again... How could she confirm that they were safe here?--Start again, it's a beautiful morning for satellites.

"Well let's put it this way." Shadow said, scratching behind his own ear with one of his paws. "You can either leave the items here, or you can just hope someone doesn't get their paws on the item before you find another way to see in that Realm." Shadow put his paw down and stared Raine straight in the eyes. He looked almost like canine sphinx. "One way or the other."

Even an angel can end up falling, don't you cry because you're crawling...Shiero's eyes shifted to the ground in thought. What did he mean? She could lug the items around while searching for the next one. She rose her azure hues to look at the shadowy canine with a raised brow, however, she eventually sighed and rubbed the back of her head. She really didn't want to leave them here for someone else to sense and possibly grab.
"I'll leave one or two..." she began,
"But if something happens, the blame is yours." So basically, she had to agree with Shadow, or she couldn't get into that Realm... But what about her son? He did wield the power of dark, didn't he?
"I really don't see what the problem is with carrying them around... At least that way I know they won't get taken..."--Start again it's a beautiful morning for satellites.

"They won't get taken." Shadow said as if that was that. "In the time since Durithill created this Realm, only one other person has been in this area of the Realm, and I doubt he could get back." It was a valid point. And Shadow knew something Raine didn't. Those that had any sort of ill will towards any of the inhabitants of this realm were denied entrance. And even though he was weak, Durithill could probably defend the artifacts for a while. "Anyways, drop the items and let's get going. Time's a wasting."

Once again my heart has burst, and is pouring out...Raine's hand hovered over Durithill's katana on her hip. She was drawn to it for more then one reason. It was his, for one... An item of his she felt like she couldn't part with along with many others. It was the closest she could get to him, really, and who was Shadow to tear something like that away? A gentle sigh escaped the woman's lips as she shifted her hand to the strap securing the heavy weapon to her hips. But instead of removing the sword, she suddenly reached over to where she kept the symbol from Durithill's boot and depositeded it by the statue instead. Though she would dearly miss anything of his, disposing of the lighter would ease her mind and at least allow her to think properly. Removing the silver lighter from her pocket, she stared down at it in the palm of her hand before sighing and setting it next to his symbol in which now lay next to his statue.
"There... Is that enough?" The female asked. Clearly she was uneasy about the entire idea of leaving the items behind. For if anything happened to them, she would feel personally responsible, not to mention completely furious."Repair it." Call the memories trapped in the crevice, --still you do not answer.

"Alright then, let's do this." Shadow said, standing up. Suddenly he began growing larger and changing shape until he looked identical to Raine. "This'll be a bit uncomfortable." he said as he walked towards Raine. He placed his hands on her shoulders and started melting into her. It felt like cold water was flooding her veins and was reaching towards her heart. "The cold feeling will wear off in a little bit." Shadow's voice said in Raine's head as he finished melting into her.
