Where Eagles Soar. That has gotta be one of the most annoying songs i hav ever had to play. the beggining is extrememly cool. when i first played it i thought it was gonna be an awsome song. man the begginnign is so friggin awsome. but the part where the saxs come in is where the song goes bad. it jsut sounds so middle-school and it keeps repeating and its extrememly annoying!. and then i hav a solo and normally i luv solos, because solos tend to sound decent. but this solo's melody doesnt even make sense with the rest of the song! now after the solo there's a part thats really cool that i absolutly love...but then it goes back to the annoying melody again!. i think the cool parts deserve a way better song than this crap.

Oh my God, I loved Where Eagles Soar. We played it last year in honor of one of the teachers who died that year. It had the best part for chimes. On topic, Bolero should die and burn in hell. The part for the clarinet is so redundant and annoying.

Winchester March -used to be cool but now is annoying
Russian Sailor's Dance - I can't even play my own instrument...she makes me play the tambourine...because the snare can't do it right
British Folk Songs - Annoying and sounds like SH** exspecially measure 24 when the flutes and oboe go like dadudah...really fast and repeatitivly
Santa at the Shymphony - cool but we sucked at it the first time so the band director won't let us mess up ever again eek

The song "Variations on America" is HORRIBLE. After we played that, everyone was putting their instrument away, and we were like, "THAT SONG MADE ME WANT TO CRY!" The key signatures were horrible... 8 flats for a clarient sucks.
Also, "Carol of the Drum". As a bass clarinet, I played low G in whole notes.. in 4/4 time.. FOR THE WHOLE PAGE! My friend and I just looked at it, and said "no" and did not even try to play it. It was so boring.
Then there was "Till Eulienspiel" that was intense... super hard. *shudder*
There are more but I can't think of the names.

I agree on Pomp and Circumstance!! it's pure hell and torture. But our concert band is playing a tune called Prelude and Fugue, and our concert band is not very good.....so it makes the song sound worse! That song is so boring, and I personally don't want to play it ever. That song makes me want to tear it to pieces and bury it to the ground.

I don't know the song name but all you French Horn players will understand why I don't like it. Its 3 pages and 60% of it is above the staff. And I don't mean just high f's and g's. I mean a's, b's and c's.
It is EVIL!!! scream Who writes music where you have to hold a high b for 2 measures? stressed Throw more wood on the fire that ones got to go.

on topic: A Quiet Rain omg!! we played that for festival last year and for like, 16 measures, all the clarinets do is a, g, a, g, sooooooo annoying!!
