Zeal stood up with what strangth she had and walked past Siegfried and said. "I'm not scared of death. I'll greet it when it comes for me." Zeal kept on walking. She went to her room and sat down at the paino.

After Siegfried made sure the coast was clear, he made his way to the library. His electronic servant asked for an identification, and he placed his hand on a sensor pad on the door. The lock clicked open, and he went inside the library, locking the door behind him. It was a large room, with books up the walls and everywhere.

Zeal began to play a soft song to calm her self. She let her memorys play in her head as she played the song. She closed her eyes and watch her memorys play.

Kari leaned over a pond, "show me Larka," she said to the water, it became a scene, Larka was, it seemed to be, hunting. Satisfied, she suddenly had another urge, "show me those who are different," scenes appeared showing all the superheroes who have already discovered their powers. She saw one of her own kind, looking closer, she saw that it was a young elf, perhaps only around her age. Looking again, she saw that Zeal was in Siegfried's house and Nikol had disappeared again. Never mind, she told herself, I shouldn't be doing this anyway.

Kari walked slowly home, when she reached the cave that was her home, she took out her flute, a beautiful one she had made by blending silver with gold. She began to play a song, her songs always reflected her emotions, she had had no lessons, it came to her naturally, this one was soft, not exactly said, but not one of joy either.

Siegfried looked around the library for a certain book. "It must be here somewhere." He said to himself. Then, he found a very old book, dated back in the reinassance times. He took it, and blew off the dust on the front cover. He came of the ladder, and opened the front cover.

Her voice trailed off and she stopped looking at the police car almost forgetting the person on the side walk. She saw something... Something she didn't like. "Sorry mister I gotta go." Running down the alley way, her wings became a brighter blue and she took off into the sky. Following what had happened, she sat on the window sill of Siegfried's library.
"Well that wasn't good... Are you at least learning something?" Midnight sat criss-crossed and raised an eyebrow.

The book Siegfried had picked up was the legend of his entity, tied in with his family's history. He looked at the family tree, and saw how far it had gone. This creature had been used to kill for lands and lordships. And now, he had inherited it. But, what would he use it for. "I should never have been born." He said, closing the book. He looked over to the guest. "How long have you been sitting there?" He asked her.

She frowned he hardly noticed her. "That's not something to say. We all have our faults... Some worse then others but that doesn't mean we shouldn't of been born." She was mainly referring to what had happened in her life and the small freak accident.

Siegfried still didn't look up. "That doesn't say the same for me." He said, looking up. "Your family was never a pack of murderers." He said to her. H etook the book and put it back where it was. "My family wa never liked." He said to her.

She frowned. "No they weren't murderers... I'll give that to you. But they were monsters alright. They enjoyed torturing things... Especially if the thing was smaller." She sighed. "But I do know someone in my family that was a murder... A cold blooded killer to be exact. Someone who didn't quite cry at the fact they killed."

Siegfried gave a weak smile. 'Well, at least we have that much in common." He said. He opened the window to allow this newcomer to come in. "Well, seeing as though you're in my estate, I must have to know your name." He said to her, his blonde hair covering one of his eyes.

"Currently? Midnight. Seeing as I am like this." She batted her blue misty wings a few times to indicate them. "Until other wise, I shall not give you my other one. You would of been better off asking in the cafe` earlier." She smiled.

Siegfried sighed. 'Well, in that case, I'm afraid my name will just be a mystery to you." He said to her. He looked over to an evil set of armor. "But if you want to call me something, it's Nightmare." He said to her.

"Yes sir Nightmare." She giggled. It was a pretty interesting name and she liked it. "Oh.. By the way. Midnight is short for Midnight Freeze if you were wondering..."
